“I like you Rainya” you say, taking her gently by the shoulders, adding “We both, like it, and you know basically all there is to know about me. I don't have anything to hide from you Rainya. It makes me happy you can love the more unusual parts about me. We could, try taking things a bit further, slowly, and see where it leads. I would normally tell someone at this point about the dangers involved and how I and they might die at any point, but you already know that. But I want to remind you of it, I won't hold it against you if you back out, because its not going to be easier from here on.” You speak fast and realising you are babbling you take a deep breath to steady yourself, only for Rainya to lean in saying “Shhh”.

Oh Gods is she going to, yes she’s going to kiss you you’re not ready what if she doesn’t like it does your breath smell oh what are you supposed to-

“Awww that’s great!”

Rainyas lips stop just short of yours as you both turn to see Lirael lying down in bed watching you with half-closed eyes.

Rainyas face immediately heats up and she says “I uh, I gotta go Shee, I’ll see you in the morning.” And she flees your shack in haste.
>>
You turn on the little vampire girl, who is looking at you with a goofy grin “Oh Shee” she says “That’s sooooo sweet, you two are perfect for each other!”

You lay down on the bed next to her “Goodnight Lirael” you say.

“I mean, you’re both great people, you’re friends, you both have so much in common” Lirael waxes on about your and Rainyas imagined virtues and compatibility, as you try to blot her out.

Finally Lirael cuddles up to you and whispers, her lips brushing your ear “Y’know Shee, I like your tentacles too, just saying”.

“Goodnight Lirael” you say from between gritted teeth
---
The next morning, Lirael wakes up next to you and is still wearing a smug grin. Even the bliss of feeding her only just makes her attitude tolerable, perhaps she thinks this means that Rainya will be feeding her too? Ah well, a decision for another time.

You, Lirael, Dev and Rainya eat breakfast together before heading out.

“You sure you can’t come?” Rainya asks Dev, he shakes his head “I can’t miss too many days” he explains “I need this job.”

Ah yes, one of these days you’ll need to decide if you want to employer Rainya and Dev at the restaurant.

You, Rainya and Lirael head out to the facility as Dev heads off to work.

“So what are we looking for?” asks Lirael

“Anything valuable” you say, as you walk down the corridors, Lirael on one side of you, Rainya on the other side “But preferably a vault with armour in it.”

“I don’t need armour” says Lirael, striking a pose “I’m too tough!”

“Isn’t she adorable” giggles Rainya, at your other side. Lirael takes this as an invitation to swap places with you, walking between you and Rainya, holding one of each of yours and Rainyas hands in hers, and giving Rainya an angelic smile.

Yeah...You might need to tell Lirael to tone it down, she could just be being friendly, or she might be looking for another feeder...
>>
After several hours of searching, you find another locked vault, a quick scan with your new senses tells you that it is psychically active, probably teleportation proof, or resistant at least you guess.

At your side Lirael rolls her eyes at you “Here we geek again” she mutters and gets out her datapd, taking a seat on the other side of the corridor, pulling Rainya with her by her hand, though Rainya keeps looking back at you.

How do you get in?

Put yourself in his position, if Ash were the pc how would you feel getting strung along by Shee? We are doing exactly that when he finds out he's going to be pissed. Hell Tg/ has called females in other quests whores for less.

True, but seen from our perspective we also have to consider that he has been (or is) with quinn
>>
>>37902574
>how would you feel getting strung along by Shee
She isn't stringing him along at all.
Ashs unfortunate lack of a meaningful social circle and resulting obession with Shee is unfortunate, and something we should help him with, but not her fault.

I'm not responsible for the irrational attitude large parts of /tg/ have towards women.

Also, you failed to rpovide example of that "constantly lying to him".

>>37902596
The fae won't do shit because we are marked as Kaes.
>>
>>37902596
Who we've already discussed those matters with? Okay.
>>
>>37902574
>if Ash were the pc how would you feel getting strung along by Shee
Realistically /tg/ would have looked for a different waifu a long time ago.
I would very much like to see Ash doing the same thing, It would be good for him.
We can help him, really.
>>
>>37902596
If he'd be willing to do that then definitely fuck that guy. Buthonestly, that seems like just about the least likely thing that could happen.
>>
>>37902612
But both made it abundantly clear he was holding a pretty big candle for Shee.

>>37902618
Because she said she was interested in being his friend again but never calls unless she needs something from him. Saying he wanted to trying to rekindle their friendship and maybe something then go and jump another girls bones. He's already said we're stringing him along this pretty much proves it. As for Kae, we may be Marked but If he makes it public we're still fucked up the ass without lube.

>>37902651
Realistically Tg/ would have screwed her over or forced something. Which is what Ash is likely to do.

>>
>>37902749
We were first girl man. We'd be trying to fuck them too though
>>
>>37902718
>but never calls unless she needs something from him
We have literally not called him once to get something from him. In fact, the only two times we ever called him was a). to appoint a night-out with him, where we got us into a fight with three vampires because we wanted to have his back, and b.) to inform him how Quinn tried to fuck with him.
Stop making up this shit.

> Saying he wanted to trying to rekindle their friendship
Yes, friendship

>As for Kae, we may be Marked but If he makes it public we're still fucked up the ass without lube.
No we aren't, because we are Kaes.
And if he were willing to do that,m that would pretty much prove us right in our decision to not enter a relationship with him, because it would reveal him as enormous asshole.
>>
>>37902749
Tg would be trying to harem all the girls and be pissy that our long time friend and first girl wouldn't jump on our dick.
>>
>>37902763
First girl in backstory. Vamp chick or Kae would have been first girl to be seen by /tg/.
>>
>>37902763
Nah, we were the childhood love interest that barely shows up.
He is way more often together with Kae.
Realistically, /tg/ would most likely either fuck Kae or Quinns sister.

Although you’ve taken apart this sort of lock before, it still takes time to duplicate the feat, almost an hour in fact. Lirael and Rainya are playing on Liraels datapad, you try to ignore the questions Lirael is asking Rainya about you in a whisper.

Lirael knows exactly how good your hearing is, but you don’t know if Rainya is aware that you can hear the whole conversation. Fortunately for now, it’s nothing serious.

Finally the lock is defeated and the door opens, you all scramble to your feet and you go in first, checking the vault for threats, finding none.

“It’s clear” you say to Lirael and Rainya, who enter the vault behind you.

“What is all this?” says Rainya, looking around in confusion “Robot skeletons?”

“Cybernetics” you say, looking around at sealed packages of cybernetic arms, legs, implants of all sorts, even tails, wings and a gigantic spider body, damn someone here was...creative. You’re not cybersurgeon but a lot of this looks high quality and would sell for a high price. Of course, to you and your allies most of this is useless, with your abilities to heal quickly, your bodies would probably eject any implants. And without a skilled surgical team, not even Dev can benefit from these.

You mark the location on your map and get ready to move on.

“What’s next?” asks Rainya

Which works until he outs our psy or until a bigger Fae comes along and overrules her. Ash can spread the word out with ease especially if he uses Quin.

>And if he were willing to do that,m that would pretty much prove us right in our decision to not enter a relationship with him, because it would reveal him as enormous asshole.

Emotions are not logical and most people get pretty piissed off after being strung along. He may regret it alter but anger and pain is not conducive to clear thinking.

Neither of which have any interest in messing with her pet Champion, because why would they?

Yeah no.
If he gets angry and shouts at us or whatever, I get that. I wouldn't even hold it against him. But what you're talking about us on a completly different level and not excusable.

>. He even said then we were likely stringing him along.

The only reason we even had these conversations is because of him being so inappropriately pushy about it.

The king, Her father, The planetary court, and the Desert guy all over rule her. All he has to do is imply we're resistance and they'd come down on us or force Kae too.

>If he gets angry and shouts at us or whatever, I get that. I wouldn't even hold it against him. But what you're talking about us on a completly different level and not excusable.

Depends on how It plays out, but I can't see Tg/ not smacking him around after he yells at us. It'll play out like Charun's insult on us mark my words.

>The only reason we even had these conversations is because of him being so inappropriately pushy about it.
The comment was spot on it seems. The kid is pretty freaking isolated any perceived betrayal is going to get under his skin and stay there. If we had waited to persue Rainya until after he got some more people besides Quin and us to talk too I could see him letting it go. Now? not really especially since Quin will keep pushing for retaliation.

I'm not responsible for others peoples actions, and Ashley being upset in that moment would be more justified than Charuns reaction was.

>The comment was spot on it seems.
No it wasn't, because Shee never made him any hopes at all. He was the one who kept asking, and Shee kept telling him no, its not going to be a thing now. Maybe it might be a thing at some point, but not now.

“We keep looking” you say, the three of you setting out again. After an hour searching through empty rooms you come across another vault, this one has a smaller door and is helpfully labelled *Cryo guns*. Well freeze guns are good against most targets and slow people down too, but your plasma weapons pack a harder punch.

You get out your tools and kneel down, ready to start picking the lock when Lirael says “Shee this is boring, can Rainya and I go play SimGuns or something?”

You look at Rainya, she shrugs and says “I don’t mind”, you look at Lirael, she is trying to hide a smirk, what is she up to?

“Good thing I’m not doing that then” you say, extending your tentacles and taking a firm grip on the edge of the door, trying to pry it open.

“You’re crazy” says Lirael

“Are you going to help or not” you say between gritted teeth.

“Fine!” says Lirael. The two of you pull and tug at the door, using your powers to boost your strength as far as you can. Eventually, with a scream of tortured metal, the vault door comes off and the two of you dump it on the floor.

“Was that more fun?” you ask Lirael, she rubs her arms and says “You’re still crazy Shee”

You examine the vault, there’s dozens of cryoguns, pistols, rifles, grenades, energy clips, enough to outfit a small army in here.

“Well?” asks Lirael “We got in here, what now? Are we gonna take some?”

“We still need to find some armour” you say, looking over the racks of guns.

“But I’m *bored*”whines Lirael “You can do this Shee, I want to play SimGuns.”

“I don’t mind looking after her” says Rainya “Besides, it’s not like you need either of us for this sort of thing, well” she corrects herself “Normally you wouldn’t, but if you’re going to rip every vault door off, maybe we should come with.”

Evidently the Five get to shape the power if we fail, so I'm not that worried. Jaggantha likes us somewhat, so he'll either just give us a power he wants us to have, or he'll give us a negative power we can overcome and remove or turn into a positive power with effort. Probably the latter, since it fits with his aspect of overcoming obstacles and breaking limits pretty well.

Was that the case? I'm pretty sure failed roll meant their powers went wild in us and did something random.

Well, Mirror's failed roll let him alert the priests of Syrne, I don't think it did that at random and the comments from the other Four seemed to imply that he made it do so deliberately.

>>37903987
That was his backup plan, actually.
He tried to have the powers flat out kill us and when the other Four stopped him, he used it for that.

I'm gonna look for the line.

“Let’s all take a break” you say, “I could use one too.” It’s almost midday after all and you’ll all need something to eat in a bit. You can feel Jagganathas power within you, you’ll attend to that in a bit.

Liraels smile falters for just a moment and then she says “Sure, lets go!” and rushes off. You and Rainya share a rueful glance and head after her

You spend an hour or so playing SimGuns with Lirael, followed by lunch in one of the facility canteens. Dried rations are almost palatable if you cook them right. Well, not really but it’s not and it won’t kill you. You find yourself pining a little for your restaurant.

The power of Jagganatha lying within you surges suddenly, you attempt to shape it to your will but it is too strong and runs wild.

You hear a clatter in the distance and you realise that it’s your plate hitting the floor, and its level with your head, wait, what?

You’re lying on the floor, Lirael and Rainya are bending over you.

“Shee, Shee” says Lirael frantically “Are you ok?”

“Back” you croak

“What?” asks Rainya in confusion

“Get back!” you insist, there’s no knowing what could happen. They both jump back when you start convulsing, your muscles rippling as you squirm. The pain mounts within you, until you are screaming as you writhe, dimly you are aware of Lirael trying and failing to get into your mind.

The pain washes away all rational thought, and then suddenly it stops. You just lie there and breathe, you can hear Lirael and Rainya calling your name. You climb groggily to your feet and reassure them you are ok.

“I’m alright” rumbles a deep voice like an avalanche. You look around wildly for the source of the noise.

You can spot no one in the cafeteria with you, just Rainya, Lirael and a bunch of smashed up tables.

Wait, have Lirael and Rainya shrunk? Or have you....?

“What happened?” the vast voice rumbles out again

“Uh Shee” says the small Rainya “You’ve uh grown some?”
>>
Lirael holds out her hands to their full width “You’re ginormous!” she exclaims. You take a moment to examine your new form.

Your head brushes the ceiling, you’re 10, maybe 12 feet tall. Your skin is grey as stone, but still quite flexible, you have four muscled arms, and in one of your hands is a huge hammer. Your clothes have faded away, in their place is a simple loin cloth and chest wrap. Huh, that’s weird, you’d expect your clothes to be just torn shreds but rather....

Something about this tickles a memory you were told about magic, something about permanent magical transformations not affecting ones personal possessions, but temporary ones can.

Indeed, you think there might be a way back...

With Lirael and Rainya gazing up at you in awe, and probably a little fear, you focus, you remember what you look like, what you’re supposed to look like and you push, hard.

Lirael, Rainya, the whole room grows around you, until everything is its normal size. Your clothes have return too, you regular ones that is, the hammer is gone.

“What was that?” asks Lirael, a grin on her face and her eyes wide.

“I think” you say slowly “That was Jagganathas Gift.”

“Do it again!” says Lirael

“Uh, yeah” says Rainya “It looked...amazing.”

Well, here goes nothing...

You focus on your new power, and start to grow once more. Once again you are huge, around 12ft in height, your tentacles have gone, instead you have 4 muscular arms (and a much larger bust), in place of your clothes you have a loin cloth and chest wrap, leaving your visible abs on display. Your skin is grey as stone, and your hair a brilliant red, falling down your back. You examine the hammer in your hand, it appears to be made of some kind of metal, and in your current form you can use it one handed.
>>
And so Shee hid in a room and locked the door. No one likes some freaky giant monster.
>>

“Wow” says Lirael, looking up at you

“Uh huh” agrees Rainya, hugging herself with her arms, her mouth open, she is drooling a little.

Shee's To Do List:

1. Make contacts to sell the guns.

4. Talk to Garrax (reunited)
>>
“I think I need to test this out a little” you say.

“Good idea” agrees Rainya

“How?” asks Lirael

You spend an hour testing the capabilities of your new form. As expected you are far stronger and tougher in this shape, you can easily lift the warmech and after a brief argument with Rainya you convince her to test some weapons on you, the pistols at least. Only the heavy plasma pistols are able to cause you pain, smaller weapons barely even tickle.

You can maintain the form for 10 minutes before it ends naturally and the hammer you have it able to tear holes in steel plates, when driven by your new strength.

Once you’ve had your fun, you wonder what to do next.

See to do list above, what do you do?

Guys, just think of the all the possibilities we have with these cybernetics! Of course, we will still have to amputate people for them, but it will be worthy it.
>>
>>37905035
We can do all that stuff with mutations too.
And we would still need someone capable of performing that surgery for the cybernetics.
>>
I think the cybernetics might come in handy when Dev or Rainya inevitably gets seriously busted
>>
>>37905035
Let's not give Rainya ideas.
>>
>>37905070
Then we use our multitude of mutation granting gifts.
Which we can actually use, while we can not graft cybernetics on people and would have to find someone who can first.
Something that would, you know, cost a lot of money. So we could easily sell those cybernetics now, and have the money to pay for a surgery if it ever became necessary.
>>
>>37905070
Then just keep the better cybernetics and sell off any of the lower-grade stuff, or just a small to medium amount if it's all the same quality.
>>
>>37905099
I hate how you make such an excellent point.. I still say we keep the weapons though. Some day we will need them to defend dust town
>>
>>37905137
I'd say we hand some of the cryo weapons to the rebellion, it can seriously improve our standing there and we still got several vaults to open with weapons we can use to arm people with later.

We should probably tell the rebellion about plans to make everyone feeders for either the fae or the vamps, and telling them that it will roll out here

“Time to head out” you say to a giggling Lirael, you’ve been entertaining her by trying to juggle heavy objects in your new shape, without much success.

“Just a few more minutes” begs Lirael.

“No” you say “we’ve found enough stuff for today, we really need to find someone who can sell this for us.”

“What about the Rebellion?” asks Rainya, as you tidy up the place before leaving “Nah” you say “They’ll take too big a cut, we need to go to someone direct.”

“I mean” clarified Rainya “shouldn’t we be keeping it for our next mission for them or something?”

“All of the intel they’ve given me so far is either useless or too high-risk” you say to Rainya, and it’s true, none of the intel the rebellion gives you on your daily call has been good mission fodder.

“So what?” asks Rainya “You’re going to sell it for personal gain?”

You recall that why you don’t care much for the rebellion, Dev and Rainya have their own reasons for believing in the cause.

“I just want to get the best deal” you reassure Rainya “once we have a reliable way to turn some of this into cash, then we’ll decide what to do.”

“Oh ok” says Rainya, satisfied.

Either way, it’s best you get back to Dust Town, you don’t want to call the rebellion from the facility, in case they can trace you, and you might be able to find someone capable of selling this stuff if you visit the right bars.

“C’mon” you say to Lirael and Rainya “Lets go” and the three of you teleport back to your shack. It’s a much harder teleportation than usual, as if something is fighting you, when you arrive you realise half your shack is missing, torn apart.

The three of you walk out of what’s left of your door into a scene of devastation.

All around dusters homes have been torn down as if a storm has ripped through here, no, not a storm...a storm doesn’t leave bodies riddled with bullet holes in the street, a storm doesn’t leave plasma burns melted through tin sheets. Not a storm, something else.
>>
“No, no...” whispers Rainya.

You stick together and wander around, the devastation is widespread, covering over a mile, all around there are living dusters, piling up bodies and looking for survivors.

Lirael huddles by your side, and starts to cry. Rainya just looks horrified. You grab a passerby “What happened here?” you ask him, an old duster.

“The police happened” he says quietly “Looking for rebels they said. You should go, they might come back” You don’t recognise him, but perhaps he knows you?

“Shee?” asks Rainya in an empty voice “what do we do?”

Its mid-afternoon, Dev will still be at work.

>>
>>37905477
Its possible. But there is a huge difference between Garrax knowing we are a Duster, and knowing exactly where we live.
Assuming he and Garrax are that much on speaking terms.
As of now, its simply more likely he was here as police guy hunting down rebels, rather than looking for us in particular.
>>
>>37905540
Well Police guy might have just scorched earth to flush us out. Us being a duster was pretty obvious. They also think we follow Ichor exclusively which means we're family oriented. Easy way to get us exposed if they miss. Still we'll see soon no doubt.

They might have burned that as well. We'll see. Besides they might not know we own it yet.

But burning down places we are likely to be at is a terrible way to find us. It just makes us hide in places they don't know.
It would be far better to wait for us at these places and then attack. Rather than forewarning us that they are after us.

I mean, yeah, they might be idiots. But it seems very unlikely compared to the plausible alternative of him simply having looked for the rebels.
>>
>>37905330

I would have to say this is very sloppy work on squashing a rebellion.

“We help” you say simply to Lirael and Rainya “We help.”

The three of you spend the rest of the afternoon clearing wreckage, you and Lirael using your strength as subtly as you can. There are survivors, some unhurt, many badly wounded. Fortunately duster houses don’t cause many injuries when they fall. The police weapons cause plenty however.

You find Devs parents...or rather, their remains. Looks like an explosion of some kind, but two bodies the right age and build, huddled in Devs parents house, it’s his parents.

“Oh no” says Rainya, joining you as you pull them out of the wreckage for the corpse cart to collect “What’ll we tell Dev?”

“The truth” you say simply “Nothing else to tell him.”

Fortunately Lirael is spared this sight, once she’d broken down over the third dead body you sent her to the hospital to help out there.

As the light fades you and everyone else keep working, then the many dusters who work in the Hive come home, Dev among them.

You make sure that all three of you are outside where his house used to be when he gets there.

“What, what happened?” asks Dev “Mum, dad?”

“I’m sorry” you say “They got caught in, well ,they got caught up in it.” Walking here, Dev has already seen a lot of what’s happened.

“No, no....” says Dev, collapsing to his knees, his voice a whisper “Where are they?”

“They took the” you cough dust out of your lungs “they took everyone who died away, to put them to rest, I think there’s supposed to be a wake tonight.”

In truth you’re not really sure, no one is organising anything, and this is too large for the usual duster community spirit to handle.

“Oh” says Dev, tears starting to roll down his face “Well, I uh, oh...”

“Yeah” you’re not sure what else to say, though you join in the hug with Lirael and Rainya, as they both cling to Dev.
---
Late that night, you’re all at the mass wake that hasn’t really been organised, so much as just...happened.
>>
There are hundreds of people grieving, you and your friends among them. Today Dev lost his family, but you all lost friends. Just ordinary faces you smiled and nodded to every day, all gone.

You all stand around as drinks are drunk, and people tell tales of the dead, you and your companions are mostly silent, your allies are in shock, and you don’t want to draw attention to yourself.

Then the tine starts to change, from grief – to anger. Questions are yelled out, who is to blame? Why did the police come and kill hundreds here? What is to be done about it.

As the shouting gets louder Dev turns to you and says “Shee, do you suppose I could sleep at the facility? Just for tonight of course?”

Your heart breaks a little that he thinks he needs to ask, but before you answer you hear the loud voices of the crowd, many are blaming the police, and the Hivers, and many more are blaming the rebellion. If they decide to turn on Hivers or rebels, you could all be in trouble.

Where are you and your companions staying tonight?

Going to have people blaming the fae, blaming hivers, blaming the vampires, blaming the rebels, blaming the governor, blaming the serec, blaming cultists, blaming the police, blaming their neighbors.

Probably even blame little green men from mars if those crackpot theories are still around.

Look for someone to blame for living in this shithole like this. And then having the cops or anyone else blow the fuck out of it for no damned reason.

Probably just rounding people up to execute them. See we are tracking down the rebels!

“We’re all going to the restaurant tonight” you say to your companions “Afterwards, afterwards we’ll see.”

“Right” says Dev, “Yeah, we’ll do that” he seems in a daze though, as if he doesn’t care.

“Are we going now?” asks Rainya, one arm around a quiet Lirael

“In a few minutes” you say “Wait here.” You head into the midst of the loudest argument.

“It’s the police!” yells one voice “They had the guns, they killed folk!”

“They wouldna been here if not for the rebels!” ripostes another “What are they doing anyway, do they think they can change the entire world? It can’t be done!”

It can, a tiny voice whispers inside your head, it can be anything you want it to be. You push it down and raise your own voice “Who orders the police?” you say “Who tells them where to go?”

There’s a pause, then lots of voices start talking “The fae, the vamps, Hivers, rich folk, The Governor.”

“That’s right” you say “Galryn Versmuth, Governor of Hive 39, oh the police might have held the guns” you concede “And they might even have thought they were looking for rebels, but make no mistake, they came here to kill Dusters on the order of the Governor. Did he even write an order, did he even tell them what they were to do? Or dill he kill hundreds with a dismissive wave of his hand? He holds the power, I say he should hold the blame.”

There is a pause and then voices are raised in support of your argument, even as others call you a rich hiver and a rebel agitator, tempers flare and a brawl erupts, despite being at the centre of it, you manage to fight your way free with little difficulty, though there will be a few people nursing broken bones tomorrow as a result.

Once free of the growing melee you head over to your friends “Lets go” you say.

“But what about?” Rainya gestures to the brawling crowd

“They won’t listen” you shake your head “They’re letting off steam, maybe later they’ll listen, lets go”.
>>
---
You lead your exhausted, somewhat traumatised allies to the Waystation, heading in the back door. You see Gambon smoking outside the kitchen entrance.

“You look like shit boss” he observes “Someone take a run at you?”

“It’s been a rough day” you say “We’re all going up to the residence, I’ll be back down to grab some food in a bit.”

“Right” he says “Get some rest.”

You all go upstairs and your friends start pulling blanets out of cupboards and making up beds as you take a quick detour to a private room, you can feel the power of the King of Hell burning within you, aching for release.

The King of Hell offers 1 of 4 Gifts

Charisma of the King of Hell (2) – Gain 2 ranks in Charisma

Willpower of the King of Hell (2) – Gain 2 ranks in Willpower

Form of the King of Hell (2) – Gain 2 ranks in the Form mutation, gaining a demonic appearance, wings, a tail and can breathe fire.

Mark of Loyalty
You can place an invisible magical symbol upon someone who follows you. This symbol can only be detected by very powerful magic, though it immediately becomes obvious when triggered.
If anyone bearing a mark betrays you, the mark burns into their flesh, leaving a horrible scar and causing terrible pain and harming them. You are automatically aware of the identity of the one who betrayed you, and the general nature of the betrayal, though not the exact details.

You can feel the power of the King of Hell surging within you, making your psychic abilities stronger than ever.

Your head downstairs and order several meals for everyone, carrying them up yourself. Your allies, no, your friends are all sat around the living room of the residence, slumped in chairs and staring at nothing.

You put places of food in their laps and hand them utensils, “Mmnot hungry” mumbles Dev

“Eat” you insist “Or I’ll feed you myself”. Grudgingly he picks up a fork and starts to eat. There is no conversation over dinner.

Once everyone is fed, you sort out sleeping arrangements. Both Lirael and Rainya want to share with you, and Dev heads off on his own.

“Someone needs to stay with Dev” you say to Lirael and Rainya “Can you too look after each other?”

“But Shee...” they both protest

“Lirael” you say, kneeling down “We’re always together, but this one night, I need to look after Dev, ok?”

“Kay” says Lirael, sulkily

“Rainya” you say, standing “I think sleeping together right now could result in either of us doing something before we’re ready for it”

“Yeah” says Rainya, blushing a little

“Look after each other” you admonish them. And then you head to Devs room.

“What?” he asks

“I’m just here in case you need me” you say, sitting in a chair next to his bed.

Dev climbs into his bed after a moment you hear him say “Thanks”.

You sit there until Dev has fallen asleep, and then you head back to your bed, alone.

>What combat specs do we want for Dev?

Well, with the warmech, he uses the rifle and melee.

Is the rifle computer only, or does the pilot feats affect it? Could he get sniper with it or Rapid Shot?

What does the strength do for Dev then?

And will we want to push him up on int so he can mastercraft stuff too, and improve the mech.

He may end up needing to get use computer to also make best use of mech sensors.
>>
>>37907864
Darkness or leveling up smaller guns and rapid fire.
>>
>>37907865
>What does the strength do for Dev then?
He can't necessarily always fight in the mech. Especially in the Hive, so its good to max out his Stats in that regard.
Melee is already fairly good
I would recommend Sniper on that gun, for single target damage.
>>
>>37907645
>Adds will mod to all magical attacks, and 2x modifier to HP.
To defences against all magical attacks, yes.

It would be prudent. We don't have much of a defence against them currently, and the Mirror, who governs sorcery, is out for our blood, so it's likely we'll run into someone with spells or at least some spell-likes that wants to kill us soon.

Alter Power is also something that should be seriously considered due to it's versatility. Some desire was expressed for Mental Contact and Ego Humbling Strike last thread as well.

>>37907864
Lirael's spending is fine.

For Rainya, I'd keep leveling Durability for now. There will be a peripheral for Psychic Shield that lets you put protections into the minds of others eventually, if it's not a default functionality. I prefer to focus on survivability over damage output in companions when feasible.

Dev's combat specs should be ones that can transfer into the Warmech's weaponry. Computer Use and Mastercraft are also worth considering.

Darkness isn't really good until higher levels, but it might be worth investing.

Getting more tentacles would be...versatile.

Does the warmech heavy laser gun, is it a heavy weapon? If so can't get sniper. If we can, it would be worth it I think. Otherwise just get Rapid shot. The range on the gun should be quite good however.

Probably just weapon skill also for Dev, swords, melee training, long arms training, ranged combat.

Sniper is for crit seeking which breaks shields and does a lot more damage.
>>
>>37908470

Of course it is. But it depends if the Heavy laser rifle qualifies for it.

If it does, i say get sniper 5 for him

>I think we should start pushing fellowship soon, since we are having to step into leadership.
It would be better to push Charisma. We could get the first two points of Fellowship for a slightly lower cost, true, but each rank of Charisma grants a +1 to Persuasion, Intimidation and Leadership in addition to it's Fellowship boost. The leadership boost from Charisma can double with the crown and also increases the crown's native bonus to mind-affecting powers.

The critical range is ludicrously wide at higher levels as well.

Yes, but what I mean by fellowship, sorry for not being clear, is general people skills.

Commander, Negotiator along with Investigator.

Should dev also get some pilot skill too?
>>
>>37908545
Looks good to me.
Might want to start thinking about other purchases for Lirael, but its not urgent now.
>>
>>37908626

We could do that next time.
>>
>>37908630

Probably might and quickness next.

Quickness is nice, extra actions.

We don't have information on other powers of hers.

In story we should do more to track down her mom.

Don't really want her to be a big gift at the vampire get together.

>Don't really want her to be a big gift at the vampire get together.
Since they are in the hands of powerful fae, thats not a possibility.

We should probably boost Quickness, more thats true. Also Command, to improve her Illusion would be useful.
>>
>>37908744

Yeah, she gets these abilites :

>Empathic Projection, Illusion, Mental Contact, Psychic Blast, Sleep, Suggestion

At master effects at command 12.

Need to push command next. Not sure healing means much, we don't have anyone we want to turn into a vampire yet.
>>
>>37908567
You want to make it >>37908545 official, or do you have anything to change?
>>
>>37908838
>Not sure healing means much
Pretty much only took Healing for the better HP/vitae rate, which makes her a better second healer next to Shee.
>>
>>37908838
Master effects wouldn't actually do anything further yet since I'm kind of beating my head against a brick wall with Telepathy's mastery bonuses.

>>37908846
Reformatting now.
>>
>>37908903
Pally might want to start thinking about something to restrict the tenacle-gun spam.
Since he gives us guns and ammo for free, there is nothing really stopping us from going with 20 guns of different types and massacring everything.
>>
I kinda pity Dev, being the big muscular guy who wants to protect all those small girls despite being far squishier then they are.
I wonder if we can give him our Titan form with Infectious Form.

Shee Hyul, 35/35 XP
>Willpower of the Infinite Mirror and the King of Hell +2 (9) -10 XP
>Ranged Combat +1 (5) -2 XP
>Rapid Shot +1 (5) -2 XP
>Pistols Training +5 (5) -5 XP
>Tentacles +2 (3) -6 XP
>Alter Power -5 XP
>Willpower Reinforces The Body -5XP

Lirael Hyul, 25/39 XP
>Endurance +3 (12) -15 XP
>Healing +2 (12) -10 XP

Rainya Halms, 22/24 XP
>Durability +4 (8) -20 XP
>Stealth +1 (2) -2 XP

Dev Mosal, 59/59 XP
>Mechanics +4 (5) -8 XP
>Strength +4 (20) -12 XP

>Intelligence +2 (13) -5 XP
>Mastercraft +1 (1) -4 XP
>Overcharge Weapon -4 XP
>Ranged Combat +4 (4) -8 XP
>Sniper +3 (3) -6 XP

There's probably an error. Saying that because whenever I don't say it there's an error.

>>37908977
Yeah, that really needs to be balanced out in some way.
>>
>>37909098
>Lirael Hyul
I like how you think.
>>
>>37909098

Looks good.

Infectious form seems to be one we have to be careful with.

Don't want Rainya bugging Shee to give her tentacles. But otherwise would be cool

Are there any other things that can hand out gifts or enhance allies?

I know Lirael can make vampires/dhampires.

I wonder if there are higher blood control levels too.
