Great Gods, what are you supposed to say in this situation? You want to break the news gently, though you're not really entirely sure how to soften the fact that his wife is dead. After deliberating for a short while, you begin to speak with no small amount of hesitance.

“She hadn't reverted to her old ways, if that's what you're asking. I'm afraid the news is much worse. So far as I'm aware, she was visiting her former place of work to collect on a debt owed to her by the proprietor, or the thug running the place. When I found her she had already passed into Pani's embrace, there was nothing I could do to restore her life.”

The Emir's face falls, and he falls heavily back into his seat. He stares at you in silence, his face taking on an unhealthy grey tone. When finally he speaks, his voice is barely more than a whisper. “What became of the perpetrator?”

You cross the room, taking a seat in a chair opposite the Emir. Perhaps slightly rude considering you hadn't been invited to sit down, but he seemed far more occupied with the death of his apparently dear wife. “I dealt him the same fate he dealt your wife. He lies dead in his office.”

The Emir clenches the armrest of his chair, knuckles whitening. For a moment you think you might have angered him, but he takes a deep breath and his grip relaxes. “My only regret is that I could not kill him myself. Is my wife's,” He hesitates, no doubt dreading the word to come. “corpse still there as well?”

“Yes, as are a number of guards. Five or six in all. Two of them should still be paralyzed but my spell probably won't last for much longer. “

The Emir stands without a word, walking to the wall behind him and tugging firmly on a silk rope. A moment later a guard enters, axe in hand. The Emir beckons him over with a wave of his hand, speaking only once the guard stands before his desk. “Gather ten men and pay a visit to that whorehouse in the market district. Kill everyone inside and destroy the place. Don't set it alight, a fire might spread to surrounding buildings. You're to retrieve Salma's body, discretely.”

The guard bows, making a quick exit. He doesn't question why the Emir's wife is lying dead in a whorehouse, doesn't seem to show any reaction at all. He merely sets out to do as commanded. Obedient, these guards of the Emir.

He turns his attention once more to you once the doors have slammed shut behind the guard. “You're of noble birth, that much is evidenced by your attire and bearing, and you look vaguely familiar. From whence do I know you?”

Briefly you debate whether or not to give him the Emir a fake name, but ultimately decide that there's no harm in revealing your true identity. Even if he wasn't already aware of your impending unbanishment, which he almost certainly is, you've just done him a great service. It would be a heartless man indeed who could throw out the man who brought his daughter home safe and avenged the murder of his wife.

Normally you'd be a bit of a pompous ass and give your full title, but these are special circumstances. “I would certainly hope you recognize me. Mikhael Abdul-Hakim, Emir Sankar's second son.”

Recognition dawns on Emir Yasin's face. “The Vatis? Gods, wasn't it just a few weeks ago that you were off saving the Shah's life from shadowy assassins?”

You relax. Seems he has heard about you after all. “Give or take, and really I had only a small part in saving his life. I was meditating on Nature magic at the time and noticed the life draining from someone in the temple. It was my companion who restarted his heart.”

The Emir nods. “Yes, yes. The robot woman. I've read the reports. Some of my men have also brought me rumors of your exploits in the north. You've already attained something resembling infamy, though not by name. You'll be pleased to know that the Shahzadi was arrested on charges of attempting to assassinate a member of the Royal Family three days ago. She awaits trial in the darkest cell beneath the palace.”

(1/2)
>>
He sits back down at his desk, clearing his throat briefly. “Well then, that business aside I must ask you a question. I trust you'll answer honestly, in light of your past service to the Shah. You've done well by avenging my wife but this insult must carry repercussions beyond merely the death of a common thug. Men like him seldom work alone. I don't suppose you found anything incriminating in his office after killing him, did you?”

You reach into your cloak, extracting a pouch filled with one hundred gold coins. “Well, I found the money your wife was looking for. I figure it out to go to you, considering the way things went.”

You set the money down on the Emir's desk, he plucks up the pouch and sets it aside, almost distastefully. “I can't believe she died over such a paltry sum. She was always like that. More pride than sense. What about the men he was working for?”

“Well,” You begin, considering your words carefully. “I don't know if he actually works for them, but he mentioned the 'Vidyarthi', whoever they are. He seemed to owe them money, and thought I was an agent of theirs sent to collect. I got him to tell me where their base of operations lies, in a fortress to the northwest of El-Amin. On the road between here and the Temple to Pani on the northern shore. It's supposed to lie at the edge of a vast canyon.”

The Emir scowls, his brow furrowing. “I'm familiar with the Vidyarthi. They're an offshoot of Surya's church, a cult. They teach that soon the bonds which enslave Surya to merciful Pani's will are going to break, and he will unleash his divine fury upon Pidjata. They're led by a former Dastur who was excommunicated by a council of his peers. That was three centuries ago, but they've only recently started to hold anything resembling actual power.”

He shakes his head. “I'll have Kadir convene a special advisory session. Most likely we'll plant a few trusted men and women among their ranks and wait until they uncover concrete evidence of their wrongdoing, then wipe them off the face of the Earth. That would be my chosen course of action at least.”

You shrug your shoulders. “You can consider me an actor on the behalf of the Abdul-Hakim family. If you'd like to offer a reward, I suggest you take it up with my father. He is the head of the tribe, after all.”

Where as most families are subservient to a clan head, which itself is subservient to a tribal chief, your family is something of an oddity. Because you were raised from slavery to high nobility in but a single generation, a clan and tribe needed to be created to when your family was titled. Since then any slave freed by the Royal Household has been made a member of the Abdul-Hakim tribe.

Your family is the only branch of the tribe to be considered noble, and so leadership has always remained within your family. The Abdul-Hakim clan is composed solely of your extended family, that is to say various uncles, their wives, and their children. Incidentally, most of the men and women sworn to your family's cause are technically your tribesmen despite sharing no blood relation with your family.

The Emir sighs heavily at the mention of your father. “I was worried you'd say that. Very well, I'll send a runner tomorrow explaining the situation to him.”

You stand, bowing deeply to Emir Yasin. “It's been my pleasure to help you in this matter, Emir. If there's nothing else I have business to attend to elsewhere but please, do not hesitate to contact Master Karim or my Father should you have any need to contact me.”

He nods, dismissing you with a wave. The Emir suddenly looks very tired, slouched in his seat. You leave without a word, finding that a guard is waiting for you on the other side of the door. He escorts you swiftly off the estate grounds to the main gate, where he takes up position standing to one side of the great iron construction. You set to wandering towards your family's home. It's only a few blocks away, and you can pick up a goat and a some traveling garb on your way back to your estate.

Pav-Ala.

Pav'ala.

PAV'ALA!
>>
As you arrive in front of the much more modest estate your family resides in, the guards push open the gate for you without a word. You can't help but feel pleased that they recognized you. You pass within the high perimeter wall that surrounds your family's home and step up to the front door, where a slave stands waiting to receive guest. It must be dreadfully boring standing outside all day, though it's probably better than cleaning. The old doorman pushes the door open and announces with a surprisingly loud voice. “Mirza Mikhael Abdul-Hakim.”

You step inside, the sound of footsteps echoing from the hall to your left. You have some time to think while you wait for someone to show up to greet you, and your thoughts turn towards just who you plan on inviting to this party of yours.

Your sister Halima appears in the hallway a moment later. You're a bit surprised, you wouldn't expect a Captain of the City Guard to be visiting home in the middle of the day. She's even still wearing her armor, and has a scimitar sitting in its scabbard on her hip. It's like she just got off duty.

You and Halima have been close ever since you were children. She's three years older than you, and would always tag along with you and your brother when the two of you went off to cause trouble. It wasn't much of a surprise when she ended up joining the City Guard, she'd professed her desire to pursue a martial career even as a child.

She has a scar running across her cheek that you don't recall being there, and a fresh bruise on her forehead. Halima has never been the most attractive sort; she's always had a mannish jawline and her light skin does her no favors, not to mention her height. She's as tall as you are. Plus she has what some would term an overly muscular frame, much like Chryssa in that regard. All that said, she seems to be in rough shape even by her standards.

She seems surprised to see you, though you can't imagine why. You would have thought that your mother and father would inform her of your unbanishment. She is family, after all. “Mikhael, what are you doing here? Should you really just be walking about the city? I thought you were hiding with your old Master.”

You look at her confused. “Why would I be hiding? I've been pardoned for whatever crimes I was thought to have committed. I'm going to be officially unbanished in the near future. I'm not trying to draw attention to myself or anything but I'm not hiding either.”

She looks wary. “So it's true then, you really did save the Shah's life? What is Kadir like? I've heard barely a thing about our new ruler since he took power, he's been keeping to himself for the most part.”

You shrug your shoulders. “Kadir is a pompous ass but I don't think he'll make for a particularly bad ruler. I think that he'll turn out to be a weak king who more or less allows his council to direct the Shahdom how they will, to the benefit of everyone involved I'm sure. Anyway, a friend and I managed to bring Kadir back to life after he suffered a heart attack, most likely brought on by magic.”

She smiles, but seems preoccupied by something else. “As much as I'm pleased to hear about your return to society, I'm wouldn't be so certain of Kadir's plans to rule in name only. He had his sister dragged off in the middle of the night not three days ago for supposedly attempting to assassinate a member of the royal family. The guard has been in an uproar over the arrest, the Shahzadi was much loved by the common solider.”

Well this is an unforeseen development. “I take it you were here to discuss the matter with father, then? I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. It was on my recommendation that he had the Shahzadi arrested as it was she who put out the contract on his life and the life of the previous Shah. Not to mention, as a ruler she would be absolutely disastrous for the realm. I wouldn't worry about it, were I you.”

Halima seems shocked but what you've said. “Do you have any proof? She always seemed so kind and charismatic. The woman I knew would never stoop as low as sending shadowy assassins after her own brother.”

“I have my own testimony as a man who was there.” Rather, as the man who carried out the assassination. “She hired a band of pirates to destroy the Shah's yacht. They had his body hanging from the entrance to their hideout before I destroyed half the island they had settled on. I heard one of their leaders referring to a client, and mentioning that they needed Kadir dead as well as the Shah.”

“The only way they could have known about the unscheduled cruise along the coast is if their client was a close associate of the Shah, and the only people wealthy enough to hire them would be members of the Royal Family. As next in line to the throne, Shahzadi Shahnaz had the most to gain from the death of the Shah and his heir. She's a violent ideologue on a mission to undermine Samjan society. I assume if Kadir had her arrested he's found more concrete proof of her wrongdoing.”

You sighs in exasperation, but it seems you've managed to alleviate some of her concerns. “Freeing the slaves is not undermining society. Perhaps there will be a few years of turmoil but at the end we would emerge stronger than ever before. Regardless, it's a relief to hear that Kadir is not merely a tyrant, even if I won't be able to share with my comrades exactly how I know that.”

Ugh, your sister is one of those people. Damned abolitionist have no clue the devastation they'd bring upon the realm by abolishing the institution of slavery entirely. Regardless, you change the subject. “Is father in? I need to speak with him.”

Halima nods. “He's in his office, I was actually just leaving, but we'll need to catch up soon. I want to hear all about my little brother's exploits abroad. Traveling is something so few of our people are given the opportunity to do and you were lucky enough to have it forced upon you.”

She pulls you into a brief half-hug, ruffling your hair affectionately before letting you go on your way. At least she doesn't let her political views define her entirely as a person. You don't know how you'd manage to get through an entire night in her company otherwise. You make your way down the hallway Halima just came from, passing the dining room where two of your step-mothers, Ayda and Semiha, are chatting quietly and sipping tea. Semiha waves enthusiastically when she sees you, where as Ayda is far more subdued. You never really connected with your father's fourth wife.

As you draw near the double doors leading into your father's study, you hear three voices from inside. You can hear your mother clearly, she seems to be berating your father, the only masculine voice in the room. You assume the third voice is probably one of your sisters, or perhaps Nadiyya. You can't really be sure. Regardless, you knock firmly on the door.

Your father's voice calls out, instructing you to enter. You push the door open, surprised to see that in addition to your father, mother, and Nadiyya that your brother, Salil, is also present. Salil scowls when he sees you, but your mother beams. Your father and Nadiyya keep their expressions staunchly neutral.

It's your father who ultimately speaks first. “Ah, Mikhael. I wasn't expecting you. Is it urgent?”

You think about his question for a moment before responding. “Well, I mean. It's fairly urgent. At least one of the reasons I've come here to speak with you is. I discovered Emir Yasin's wife dead and escorted his daughter back to his estate. He's going to be sending you an envoy tomorrow to discuss the possibility of a reward, as I told him I was merely acting as an agent of our family.”

You're surprised to find that Salil can scowl even harder than he already was. You've no doubt he wishes to shout all manner of obscenities at you, but to his credit he holds his tongue. As for the rest of your family, even Nadiyya seems surprised by the news. Your father doesn't seem to know how to respond at first. Your mother simply looks incredibly smug.

Eventually it's your father who speaks. “Well, I suppose that is rather urgent. Which one of Emir Yasin's wives that you found dead?”

You stride into the office proper, brushing past your brother to take a seat in an unoccupied chair in front of your father's desk. “Salma, apparently she used to be a prostitute and was owed a debt by the owner of the whorehouse she once worked in. He cut her throat when she came to collect. Anyway, the other matter I wished to discuss is far less somber. I've only recently acquired the deed to an estate on the docks and finished having it renovated. I'm hosting a get together for some of the men and women I was apprenticed alongside, as well as some of my Master's friends. I figured I may as well invite the family.”

(Shit, forgot to submit the post)
>>
Silence reigns in the room. It only occurs to you afterwards how strange it is to walk into the middle of a family meeting talking about dead former prostitutes and throwing a party. However, you dismiss such thoughts. Nothing you can do about it now after all. “So, can I expect your attendance? It will be your typical housewarming party, everyone will be bringing a dish of their own.”

Your mother is the first to recover from the rapid change of subject. “Of course we'll be attending! Won't we, dearest husband?”

Your father chimes in with his own agreement. “Of course, we'd be honored. Just how lucrative are these adventures of yours? Did you really have enough money left over after investing thousands of silver in family endeavors to buy a house on a whim and have it renovated?”

Before you can answer, Salil butts in. “I'm afraid I won't be able to make it, dearest brother. I'll be on a ship to some foreign hellhole at the behest of our dearest father. I'm sure Vasuda will be delighted to attend in my stead.”

With that, your brother turns to storm out of the room. You can't help yourself, you have to quip. “Oh, please do tell your lovely wife I'll be simply delighted to show her my hospitality.”

You deliver the line with a straight face, though the temptation to grin like a cocky asshole is almost too strong to resist. Your brother pauses mid-step, and for a moment you think he's going to turn around and say something, but he thinks better of it. He slams the door shut forcefully behind him.

Your mother daggers glares at you. “Come now, you should know better than to antagonize your brother like that Mik. It's terribly rude.”

You shrug your shoulders. “He'll get over it, I'm sure. Besides, he'll be in a foreign land with a new wife in a month's time, won't he?”

Your father nods, but seems vaguely admonishing. “True, but that's no reason to antagonize him further. I accept your rivalry because it seems to inspire him to work harder in advancing the family fortunes, but should that rivalry turn violent I would lose a son regardless of who came out the victor. You really should consider making amends to some degree.”

You sigh, perhaps in an overly dramatic fashion but it's entirely up for debate. “Fine, fine. Perhaps I'll send him a card, or something. We'll simply have to see. Anyway, that's all I really wanted to tell you. I trust you can get the invitation out to my sisters.”

Your mother frowns, slapping you lightly on the arm. “You won't be staying for dinner? You've only just arrived! Surely you can stay for a few hours, at least.”

You hold up your hands in mock surrender. “On any other day, I would love to. The dinner is tomorrow and there are preparations to be done. Any other day I would love to stay for a few more hours.”

Your mother seems to deem your excuse acceptable, and your father dismisses you with a wave. You stand, and make your way swiftly out of your father's study. Odd that you haven't seen your sisters anywhere. At least Pratima ought to be hanging around the estate, considering she doesn't actually have a real job. Regardless, your thoughts turn to your next destination.

You make your way out the front door, the guards pulling the gate open to let you pass. The trip to the marketplace is a short one, and surprisingly peaceful. You don't come across any lost children, you're not accosted by muggers, you don't meet any strange people wandering about the city. Eventually you find yourself wandering around the edge of the vast plaza where the market stalls have been set up, looking for anything that resembles a tailor's shop or perhaps a barn.

Eventually you see a sign which depicts a needle and thread. You duck inside, finding the walls lined with all manner of shirts, trousers, robes, vest, and other clothing items. You start absentmindedly browsing the shelves, trying to decide what sort of clothing you want. You're not really much of a shopper when it comes to buying clothes. You really just sort of stair at any given item and occasionally pick something out of the line-up to get a better look.

You pick out a thick leather vest, something that will provide you some protection even when you're not wearing armor, a simple shirt of white linen, and brown cotton pants. You'd go for a cheaper material, but you don't really want coarse wool rubbing against your bits all day. You step up to the counter, looking around for a moment. You seem to be the only person in the shop, but there's a silk rope hanging down from the ceiling near-by and a curtained archway into another room. You give the rope a tug, a bell jangling on the other side of the curtain.

>>
Moments later a woman emerges from the other room, a tightly rolled collection of tobacco leaves burning in her hands. You assume it's some sort of incense, but she holds the stick of rolled tobacco up to her lips and takes a long drag, exhaling a cloud of smoke afterwards. You detect the sweet scent of opium mixed in among the bitter stench of tobacco. How odd.

“Making a purchase?” The human woman ask. She has dark hair, and perhaps the most angular face you've ever seen. She seems to have barely any jaw at all, her face merely narrowing into a chin. She's not dressed particularly well, considering her profession. A long black and red robe with some lace on the collar and at the hems of her sleeves, a few streaks of color here and there.

You nod. “Yes, just these items.” You place the clothes you've picked out on the counter. You're rather happy with what you've found, they ought to serve your purposes well enough and they should be cheap as can be.

The women glances at them briefly before turning her attention back to you. “One gold. Do you want them fitted? It's only three silver extra.”

GUYS, BEFORE WE GO TO THAT DESERT WASTELAND DEATHPLACE, WE SHOUTCAST BUY SHITTON OF BARRELS OF WATER AND STORE THE IN OUR CLOAK.

I'm saying this now because I usually don't get to participate often and I'm sorry if this had been mentioned before. I just want to plant the idea.
Iirc that place is extremely dry and even with our level it will be hard to get moisture out of air. Also, the natives seem to value water a lot and we could use it as a barter goods.
I think we should buy like 100 barrels. Maybe even a thousand. They can't be expensive.
Also, maybe we should buy some long lasting food as well. I can't imagine that that wasteland would have a lot of food. (When we were in parallel dimension, we should have bartered with food instead of gold. Hindsight 20/20)

If we enchant self filling Goblets of Water we could sell those things to desert tribes to Vast sums of money.

We should create some before we leave for the Pav'ala. Also we should stop on our way to Anthus and create a shrine or two. We'll learn more runes as we do.

Right.
Then just the barrels themselves. Would they be expensive? We could fill them ourself.

Or just ice like this guy >>37871088 said. The point is to have a lot of water at hand. (We still should take a couple of barrels or other containers with water for bartering purposes)

Now that you made a point of it, wooden barrels are probably expensive. Clay vases would be a better idea.

joking aside, if it wasn't for magic, which even then is a grueling, mind numbing and repetitive process of removing the salt, the cost of the water would be be higher to compensate for the labor, along with wood, which is also expensive in the desert. the cost just keeps going up and up
>>
>>37871252
Anon, I'm being facetious. I know our master doesn't know water runes. That said, maybe if we offer him enough favors, he'll learn and then teach us.

That place is probably miles deep of sand and whatever the shit is when you compress sand. And nothing else.

>>37871286
Which is why Ice makes a wonderful container. and I'm sure GM level allows us to extract quite quickly.
>>
>>37871310
Even better: freezing water removes the salt from it naturally, so we could just store huge blocks of ice in our cloak.
>>
>>37871267
Ice barrels would either melt the barrel or freeze the water eventually
>>
>>37871252
>That's for when a rune is visible. ie something has been enchanted.
So far the runes of even non-enchanted items are visible when we're in the lattice. Studying those and then meditating on their meaning from memory, just like how we learned the rune for Leech even without the artifact itself present.

Why not? Getting the clothes fitted would make wearing them for extended periods of time immensely more comfortable, and you wouldn't have to worry about tripping over your pant leg or something of the sort. In fact, considering how cheap her prices seem to be you should probably go ahead and buy a few different sets of clothes. “Sure, but hold on a moment. I think I'll pick out a few other items as well.”

You set off on another pass around the store. You pick out a deep red shirt that strikes your fancy, and a simple black cotton robe. You also get a few more pairs of trousers, and a few more shirts in a variety of colors. You end up with four additional pairs of pants and four additional shirts, as well as a robe and a long white cotton cloth meant to be wrapped into a turban.

Once you've picked out your additional outfits, you set them all on the counter. The woman once more glances at the pile, taking a drag from that twisted clump of tobacco leaves. “Five gold for the clothes, twelve to get everything tailored.”

“Surely we can work out some sort of deal, a discount considering the bulk of what I'm buying.” Most everyone offers cheaper prices per item when you're buying in large quantities.

The human woman blows out a veritable cloud of smoke, shaking her head. “Nope, I don't do haggling. Five gold, twelve silver. Take it or leave it.”

You must be going deaf. You could've sworn she'd just said she doesn't 'do' haggling. Surely you misheard! “I'm sorry, could you repeat that?”

She obliges you readily. “I don't haggle. Never have, never will. Frankly I find it ridiculous that all you dark skinned knife ears think you ought to be able to talk down the stated price. It's rude.”
(1/2 or 3)
>>
Visions of her store burning to the ground flash briefly through your mind's eye but you dispel such thoughts easily enough. “You seem to have made a terrible mistake, but it's okay. I understand the complexities of living in a civilized society can tax the minds of the lesser races. You see, in a civilized society a merchant does not get to merely dictate a price. An exchange of goods for coin is not all there is to making a purchase. It's a duel of wits and words, a pitched battle. If you're not willing to participate, what's the point of even opening a shop?”

She frowns at you, taking a moment to think about her reply. Eventually she seems to decide that discounting your advice entirely is her best course of action. “Look, are you buying or not? I've work to get back to if not.”

You sigh in exasperation. “I'm a buyer at three gold, for all the clothes as well as having everything fitted to my measurements. Otherwise you can rot here in your empty store until you can no longer pay rent.”

She bites her lip contemplatively, concern flashing briefly across her face. “Fine, three gold it is then. I'll get my tools.” She states, vanishing once more into the back room. You take the time to retrieve three gold coins from your cloak and set them on the counter next to your pile of clothes.

The human woman comes back a moment later with measure tape and a clay tablet. The clay looks to still be wet, there's a stylus stabbed into it. Presumably it's to record your measurements. She points you towards a small raised wooden platform and has you spread your arms out. You spend about twenty minutes standing there letting her take your measurements.

When she's finished you hear the measuring tape snap back into the strange holder she keeps it in. “Alright, I've got your sizes recorded. I'll have the clothes ready by tomorrow, perhaps the day after. What is your name?”

(2/3)
>>
You wave a hand dismissively. “Just put it under Mikhael, I'll have a slave come by to pick them up in all likelihood.” Normally you'd be worried about revealing your name, but Mikhael is not a particularly uncommon name and besides that she's a human, she probably doesn't even know what an Aghtaki is.

You exit the shop, and spent a bit of time wandering the market until you find a man selling livestock. He's got three goats, one buck and two nanny goats. You strike a good deal for a nanny goat at only two silver. Leading it by a rope tied around its neck, you finally make your way out of the market district and begin to make your way towards your new estate.

By the time you come to a stop in front of the gate which blocks the entrance to your home, the sun is beginning to sink beyond the horizon. Your feet are sore, and you're hungry. You look forward immensely to just lying down and perhaps doing some meditation, or reading. The gate is unlocked, so you don't need to contact anyone. Just step inside.

The constant din of noise which has plagued the estate over the last few days is almost gone. You hear some distant hammering echoing through the dining hall and the foyer, but presumably that's simply the work being done on the tower across the bridge from the main building. You're quite pleased with how things have turned out. Zahak should still be in your room, that's where you left him, but it strikes you as you pass from the foyer and into the dining hall that you don't see any sign of your companions or your slaves being present. The place seems abandoned, save for that distant hammering sound.

As anon just pointed out, meditation with the purpose of enchantment and on items we have is all we've done in those regards. Meditation is that sort of intense focus.
That's on just a single item to task, we've not yet attempted meditating on the lattice itself or of any of its parts.

I believe he's going on what we discussed before, that logically if runes are expressed through the lattice then studying the lattice in reference to specific items or concepts is how to get an unspirited understanding of a rune.

I also similarly recall us seeing the runes of our objects in the lattice before they had been enchanted.

>>
>>37871677
Thanks for running you magnificent bastard, emphasis on the former. Perchance have you been suffering from insomnia, it being a lovely tuesday and all hahahahah.
>>
>>37871707
Thanks for running.
>>
>>37871730
Fuck, that's right. I totally forgot that I didn't sleep on Wednesday so today would feel like a continuation of Wednesday. That still doesn't explain why I thought it was Tuesday.
>>
>>37871707
So are we checking our friends out through the brooche.
>>
>>37871745
Temporal anomaly
>>
>>37871745
I'm thinking the sleep deficit may have something to do with it
>>
>>37871745
>>37871730
Its always tuesday, unless its a monday. Fuck mondays.
>>
>>37871745
You thought it was tuesday because you believed today was yesterday and your body felt like today was a continuation of wednesday.

Hey guys if spirits give runes to whoever gives them stuff I think we could figure out which kinds of spirits supported the Rhynians and which supported the Hiacians based on the kinds of runes they most commonly employed in their enchanting.
>>
>>37872702
Pretty sure that the Rhynians knew all the runes.

Pretty much EVERYTHING in their bases is enchanted. From the walls to the wiring's. They even have computers made from enchanting. Think about how many runes that would take.
>>
>>37872728
Well if they knew them all they shouldn't have fallen!

Oh, wait... Nevermind.
>>
>>37872772
They didn't know the combination for Empire+Sustain.
>>
>>37872791
Do you mean Empire+Permanency
>>
>>37872871
>>37872791
Clearly in order to make our rule supreme we just need Empire+Dynasty+Sustain+Permanency.

Add [Destroy->Degenerates] in presence of [Degenerates].
