"So what did you guys think?" he asks, a grin splaying across his face as he sees Yumi's lowered head ripe with a blush.
"Perfect edit as always, I got nothing to add." you say, nudging Yumi in the ribs.
"U-um... Y-yeah, it was... good." she mumbles awkwardly.
"Hahah, well I best get back to clearing up" says Hideo, "You're welcome to hang around if you have any more questions or want to catch a lift again, though you'll be kept waiting as per last time."

With this he wanders off to start packing up the set leaving you with Yumi.

"Pffsh, fine, not like I haven't just spilled my deepest darkest secrets to you over the space of twenty four hours or anything..."
"Ahh, but really sharing it was actually unburdening yourself from its shackles, no?" she says in a mock wise voice.
"Yeah, yeah, have it your way."
"I'll tell you later, yakusoku, ne?"

You let out a sigh.

"Only if you're happy to. Having had a certain someone pester me about one of MY secrets for the better part of a year I know what it's like so, *I'd* never do that to anyone~" you say with smug superiority.
"Don't make me tickle you..." replies Yumi in a dangerous voice.
"Eeehh... Moveing on..." you say quickly, "You wanna come have dinner at my place again? You can stay the night too if you want~"
"Well... I've got training most of tomorrow but it doesn't start til after lunch..."
"Excellent! Come on, we need to go hit up the supermarket, we used up most of my ingredients last night."
"What do you plan to cook this evening? Haven't had lunch yet either for that matter..."

Hm... Actually, I think I'll stop it here for today. Gonna need to refresh my mental stamina if I want to make this scene any good.

I'm having quite a lot but we're rapidly veering off course from the shorter story I originally had in mind for this and instead forging a more noble path.

ahh yea, they tend to do that, Accidental Idol Crime Quest started pretty much the same way.

Everyone had fun so QM just continued, and now does 1-2 threads per month.
