So news.

I have a hard date on when I'm moving. It'll be feb. 13, so don't expect a thread the 17th, and possibly not one the 24th either, depending on how long it takes time warner to get internet hooked up over there. I'm kinda looking forward to it, other than that though.

++

For once, your briefing is quiet, not a hint of snark from the twins. Your two aircrews, all four of you, are keying in on the tension in the air as Admiral Nixon outlines the plan.

You'll rendezvous with the Il-62 over the black sea, almost immediately after it crosses the southern shores of the Ukraine near the Crimean peninsula. While that country, to everyone's surprise, declared themselves neutral at the outbreak of hostilities, their air force is largely incapable of maintaining their airspace, and both sides have overflown it repeatedly with combat aircraft.

In this case, it's unlikely they'll attempt an intercept of the airliner, but if they do, it's at your discretion to engage any Ukrainian aircraft or not. You doubt you'll have to- they've made it almost a point to not challenge the repeated border violations, though they've protested heavily. The simple fact is that the nascent Ukrainian military is still badly undermanned and under equipped following the removal of the soviet forces in the country, and mostly unable to respond, even to the most flagrant of overflights.

It's over the black sea that resistance is really supposed to ramp up. The place is practically the soviet's playground, with sea and air threats effectively dominating it. While the Turkish military has done well enough in keeping them bottled up, they're fighting a battle in the northeast of their country that's rapidly draining them of equipment and men. They're ok with you overflying, and will try to support you as they can, but they've made no promises, and Nixon was blunt- don't expect much.

1/3
>>
Once you've broken into the Mediterranean, you can expect help from the flight deck of the USS Forestall, along with considerable support from her battle group. It also offers you a place to land if you're badly shot up, though you'd prefer to not have to, if you can avoid it.

Your destination is Chania airport, on the north side of Crete. The Greek government, a NATO ally, has allowed use of the place, and there's support on the ground there. Your alternate is farther away- and in a different direction, at King Khalid military city in Saudi. While it's still in range, you'll lose support over the med, and have to deal with potential Iraqi fighters as well. The only advantage is that the city is swarming with American troops, with units being sent there to help stem Saddam's aggression against Saudi Arabia.

“That's it.” Nixon says, finally. “You'll go wheels up at oh-three to make the rendezvous, which works out because that's the usual time the CAP launches for the early morning hours. Anybody watching is just going to think that's what you're doing. I want your loadsheets and flight plan in two hours, so you'll have to get to work. That it? Any questions?”

No one has any, and he nods.

“Good. Get me that stupid paperwork, kids.” he says, as a way of dismissing you.

The four of you, now joined by Ice, make your way back to the offices, where Merlin puts a pot of coffee on and you spread out a map on the table, marking your intercept point and take off, while the twins stick markers on your pancake and alternate.

“So how do we want to load?” Alyssa asks, breaking the silence. “Long range stuff might be the best idea, we want to keep them far away from the jumbo.”

2/3
>>
You nod. “Yeah, but we can't pack as many in.” You say. “So if they send up as much as the admiral is thinking, we're going to have problems.”

“Yeah, and if there's witches, we're going to need lots of agiles.” Clarissa says. “Figure three or four per.”

“Well, there's another option, too.” Ice says, and you all turn to look at her. “They've got a pair of test pods for witches. It's pretty simple stuff, uncomfortable as hell, but it means you could let one of us ride in your center line bay.”

“How?” You ask. “That thing's narrow as hell. How can you fit strikers in it?”

“With the wings folded, Merlin's superstrikers clear the sides by a quarter of an inch.” She responds. “You just have to be high enough up so that they can deploy correctly. It's fewer missiles, but it means there'd be four of us up there, not just you two steelwings.”

If this turns into the furball Nixon expects, that is two more friendlies we need to keep track off, not something we wold want too.

I also fear that this will end with a "save the twins or save the eggheads" choice.

How many missiles are we losing in the exchange? It's a numbers fight and while bringing long range missiles will help, two witches will be more aid to us this time. Best night of the week Never-ending snow edition!

I doubt we can re-attach them after a fight up there. Where do they go afterwards? Do they have the same endurance for the entire mission?

>>
>>37663717>>37663093

Merlin's strikers have missile bays right? It's been a while since we've used em so I forgot. But if that's the case, Katya at least can handle the distance, and maybe Wendy? The stricker's missiles could make up for carrying them. Witch vs witch and we can carry the long range engagement.
>>
>>37663815
Yes as its been discussed already but the problem is we're losing long range missiles in the trade for the Witch pod and I don't think the super strikers can carry long range shit.
>>
>>37663860
>I don't think the super strikers can carry long range shit.
The very first missile we saw being used by the Super Strikers' hammerspace bay was an AMRAAM, which is the longest range missile you're going to get on a fighter that isn't a Phoenix anyway.
>>

You think about it for a second, then nod. “Yeah, that'd work. Who were you thinking?”

“Myself and Slider.” She says, without hesitation. “We're both acclimated to the superstrikers, the rest of them still aren't.”

“That won't matter for Wendy.” Alyssa points out. “She'll be fine no matter what we swap her to.”

Ice nods. “Yeah, but Slider and I have also flown together longer.” She says. “And Wendy doesn't have that many carrier landings, so she'd have to push all the way to Crete.”

“What about Katya?” You ask.

Ice shakes her head. “She doesn't have the time with the superstrikers yet, so she's going to be a lot less effective. Have you seen her with a new set of strikers?”

You shake your head.

“Ok, well. She's a drunk Russian.” Ice supplies.

“Drunk- is that even possible?”

“She tried to make out with me.” Ice says, drily.

“You should have let her.” Alyssa hoots.

“Yeah, man, that would have been hot!” Clarissa adds.

“Not right now.” You say, cutting the twins off before they can really get started. Alyssa sticks her tongue out at you.

“Spoilsport.”

“You can't blame him, though.” Clarissa says. “I mean, wanting to keep all dat to himself. I would too.”

“Anyway.” Ice says, a trifle more loudly than needed. “You could swap Wendy in for either of us, I guess, if you wanted, but Keep in mind Slider and I have been flying together a long time, and she's not carrier rated.”

Wendy's new callsign Banshee?

As for the load out Agiles on 1 and 5, AMRAAMs on 2 and 4. What about fuel, are we tanking between here and there? Also what about the whole hammerspace bay?
>>37664267
Short answer, Agiles are short range and witch killers, while AMRAAMs are medium range.
>>
>>37664267
AIM-9L is the standard sidewinder
95X kills witches
7M is the SAAM (point, stay pointed, shoot)
120C has medium range, good tracking
64 is an evolved 54 long range missile
152 is the ALRAAM to the 120's AMRAAM

You shake your head. “No, You and slider sound fine.” You say, holding up a warning finger at the twins. “We'll load AMRAAMS in the dorsal bays, and take agiles in the nacelle bays, that should work out ok. Can we double it?”

Merlin nods. “W-well, kind of. We have four sets f-for the small bays.” She says. “S-so we can double all of the missiles w-we're carrying, or we can let the t-twins carry a pair and double up some of theirs.”

“Alright, that's fine, how about fuel?” You ask, planning to sort that out later.

“We'll be ok on internal tanks for crete provided we don't have to use the blowers too much.” Clarissa says. “I just did the math. We'll be light, but we'll be fine.”

“As long as we can make the med, we can always tank off of them.” Alyssa points out. “I'm sure they'll send up an intruder or something if we need one. They might even launch to help us out over Turkey, but that'll just be their fighters, maybe a witch or two.”

Clarissa nods. “Yeah, Mar's down there, I'm sure she'll love to come see us and rub in our faces how she had to bail us out.”

“Mar's just jealous she's not here.” Alyssa says. “Good thing for Frank, too.”

“H-how do we want to divide the holding equipment?” Merlin asks, keeping the subject on the mission. “A-and who is riding with who?”

[x] Ice rides with us

“Ok, we'll both double AMRAAMS” You say to Alyssa, who nods. “You guys can lift Slider, we'll take Ice.”

“Now when you say take....” Alyssa grins. You throw a pen at her, though she dodges it, laughing.

“Alright, that's it. Give me those load plans and the other bullshit, I'll run it up to the Admiral.” You say. “Try and get some sleep, even if it's just a couple hours, ok?”

“Won't be easy.” Clarissa says.

“I know. Try anyway.” You respond, checking your watch. “It's eighteen twenty now, so that's like, six hours or so if we have lights at oh-one.”

“Maybe we'll just snuggle with Joe some...”

“Don't tell me about it.” You say, still distracted. “Ice, since you're coming with, are you gonna bump me from mission lead?”

She shakes her head. “This is your show, Frank.” She responds. “I'll let Slider know what she's doing then-”

“Fine. Then go get some sleep.” You say. She nods again.

“Right. See you all in the chow line.” You say, grabbing the papers and ushering everyone out of the office. Merlin follows them out.

“I-I'll head back and go to bed.” She says. “B-but don't take too long or I'll send K-kimiko after you. You need s-sleep too Frank.”

“I know kiddo. I'll be done in a minute, promise.” You respond, and she nods once, satisfied.

Nixon is up in Ice's office, chatting with some of the staffers. He nods when you walk in, seeing the folder in your hand. “that all your paperwork, son?” He asks.

You nod. “Yessir, myself, the twins, and both witches.”

He looks at you for a second, then nods. “The travel pods, huh?”

You nod.

“Well, can't say it's what I'd have gone with, but it's some extra people up there.”

“And,” you point out. “They're going to be a lot more effective at actually defending the airliner, it's a lot easier for them to counter missiles.”

“True, true. Well, good thinking son. What's your plan now?”

>>
>>37667208
>We need rest before the flight, not lewds.

Certainly, although anyone who knows about our mission that cares about us might be tempted to give us a bit of...encouragement...to come back.

We have, after all, been given good luck tokens before. If word gets around about the mission, maybe there might be an additional token given?

Which reminds me, we still have the original ones, right? We really should make a point of showing three certain someones that we still have them, and will be carrying them for good luck.
>>
>>37667482
>Which reminds me, we still have the original ones, right? We really should make a point of showing three certain someones that we still have them, and will be carrying them for good luck.
We do still have them, and yes we should seek new tokens from our fair maidens
>>
>>37667482
Favors are fine but lewds take time, time which we should be sleeping before the mission. Yes we still have the favors.
>>
>>37667482
Stick 'em on a lanyard round our neck.
>>
>>37667696
Nah, they go around Ice's neck.

We should probably get her a collar sometime.

>>
>>37667696

>>

>We should probably get her a collar sometime.

Along that line of thinking, it might be nice for us to return the favor for all the girls who gave us a token and give them each one in return.

They all are, after all, pilots as well. We don't want anything bad to happen to them either.

Makes me wonder what would be appropriate for us to give each one of them if we did go that route.
>>
>>37668148
Ice gets a bit of chain that we have lying around for some reason.

Slider gets an old T-shirt.

Katya gets...an old patch or something.
>>
>>37668148
We gave them nice stockings.

Which we have not seen them use
>>
>>37668197

she can get that lingerie that we left in Alaska, that is still following us around
>>
>>37668148
we gave katya a chess set, slider another bear for gunny bear, i dont think we got ice anything personal unlike the other 2
>>
>>37668220

I second this proposal
>>
>>37668220
Merlin's already claimed it.
>>
>>37668233
Well technically the lingerie was suppose to be for Ice but a collar is a much better idea.
>>
>>37668278
ya it does; i wasn't against the idea i just want to let other know she was the only one who didn't get a personal gift.
>>
>>37668278
how about we cut the lingerie up into 3 bits, and make something for each of them with it?
>>
>>37668148
Collar for Ice.

Lingerie for Katya to wear in public

Good booze for Slider

Our dick for Mav, because she's best girl.
>>
>>37668233
We already gave Katya a pretty nice chess set.

Slider, I motion the bear, maybe make it look more girlish. Bows and shit.

Ice got some book (at the time, she was a hard person to buy for) but we can give her more of those cheap romance novels.
>>
>>37668202

That's different, we got everyone that as a gift.

Tokens for luck are what I'm talking about, the same way we were given three tokens much earlier in the quest. Something a little more personal, meant as a good luck charm.

Like how damsels would give their knight a hankerchief or piece of cloth as a symbol of their favor. While we are no damsel, I think it would mean a lot, especially for Ice and Slider, since this is a rather dicey mission that even Nixon doesn't think we can pull off.
>>
>>37668347
i dont count the books sinc we were kinda "meh" about it.
>>
>>37668353

It's more of that protecting the airliner is going to be a pain in the ass, not our survival.
>>
>>37668382

>>
>>37668434
ya we did.
>>
>>37668383

Some of our personal effect, perhaps?
Tie for Iceboss (its formal and can be used for.... something more kinky)
Gloves for Katya and handkerchief for Slider?

>Our dick for Mav, because she's best girl.

She had her chance with us, she moved on to someone else.

We've moved on/up, she'll have to settle for best bro now.
>>
>>37668353

Do we have any the shards o' tomcat left lying around from one of our several rounds of surgery?
>>
>>37668473
Obviously, we have one of the witches not on the mission fill us back up afterwards.

Healwitches are very useful for some kinky things.
>>
>>37668473
>Gloves for Katya
No our gloves are a good luck charm and our gnoming charm.
>>
>>37668432
>It's more of that protecting the airliner is going to be a pain in the ass, not our survival.

True, but while the airliner is the priority target, don't get too arrogant about our survival.

You do know they're gonna shoot as us too, right? I somehow doubt they are gonna leave the two fighters and two witches alone that are flinging all sorts of explodey shit at them.
>>
>>37668523

Also, if they shoot us, they can possibly recapture the airliner.

That doesn't seem to be a priority, but somebody will think of this.
>>
>>37668523
Of course their going to shoot at us and we'll shoot at them. I see this as sort of like us stealing the Vampire but this time we can actual fight and we have three friends from the start.
>>
>>37668490

Huh, that's a thought. Wonder if we can get a few bits of those shards made into some sort of wearable charm or something?

Kinda like one of those St. Christopher medals?
>>
[x] Going to do one last look-around down in the hangar, then probably rack out.

“I'm going to go do one last look around down in the hangar,” You say, as Nixon nods, “Then probably rack out.”

“Good plan, son.” He says. “Don't fiddle too long down there, we need you to be squared away on this one. These folks could have a lot of answers for questions we're running into.”

You nod, not responding.

“Alright, son. Go take care of your things, then get yourself to bed. We both know how hard sleep can be, but we both know you're going to want it.” He says, dismissing you.

You walk down to the squadron's hangar, noting that the twin's jet is all closed up, and now sits next to yours on the pavement, ready to go. Ordinance techs are already swinging open the bays and driving their crane and cherry-picker over, ready to load the dorsal stations. A rack of AMRAAMs sits nearby, towed in from the ammo dump.

Your ground crew is there, though the chief is nowhere to be found. Several striker racks- the newer ones- stand empty, their witches up familiarizing themselves with the new superstrikers and their systems.

You're only there a minute when they start returning, however- Goose is in first, looking quite sick, but happy all the same. She waves at you, and you return it, watching Mav and Rosalie follow her in. They're trailed by a slightly weaving Katya.

Mav and Rosalie set down about the same time, Goose just after, as Katya weaves her way toward her rack slowly, helped by a pair of ground crew. Rosalie looks pale, and Goose has to be helped out of her strikers, with Mav giving her a piggyback ride down the ladder and across the floor to you.

1/2
>>
“How are they?” You ask her. She shrugs.

“They fly nice, turning is amazing, draw isn't too bad.” She says. Rosalie nods, sitting on the edge of her striker rack.

“Oui. Merlin, she designed these well, non?” She says, her voice weak. You quirk an eyebrow at her as Katya slots her strikers in and shuts them down. “You ok?”

She nods. “Oui. Every girl is different, non? I will be tired and sore for a while, it is nothing new.”

You look over at Katya, who's being helped out of her strikers by the ground crew. “How about you?”

She looks at you quizzically, then spits a stream of slurred russian at you and pitches forward, falling face-first off the rack.

“Shit!” You yell, leaping towards her, trying to get between her and the smooth concrete floor of the hangar. You manage, just barely, to pull it off, catching her just under her arms.

She giggles. “Vsegda tam dlya menya” it sounds like she slurs at you, before suddenly finding her feet and grabbing both sides of your head, planting her lips on yours and trying to suck your tonsils out.

Mav does a damn good wolf howl, you think. The bitch.

She finally lets go with another, very un-Katya-like giggle and slumps against you, her breathing deep and even against your chest. She's gone as limp as a sack, having apparently passed out.

You pull her up into a carry and catch Rosalie grinning. “Every girl is different.” She repeats with a grin. “But I am somewhat glad I am not her. I have unbearable hangovers, non?” She laughs, the sound still weak.

“So, you just want to carry her back?” Mav says.

[x] Might as well, I promised I wouldn't be here too long.

You nod, adjusting the lightly snoring load in your arms and starting for the doors. “Yeah, might as well.” you say. “I promised I wouldn't be her too long.”

“So, you think she'd have done that if you weren't there?” Mav says, looking back over her shoulder as Rosalie, probably wisely, gets a ride back to the house.

You shrug as best you can. “Hard to tell.” you say. “She's pretty out of it, though.”

Mav nods. “Yeah, and into you. Looked like she about stuck her tongue down your throat!”

“Close.” You say. “Girl is a hell of a kisser, I'll give her that.”

“I'm tellin ya, man. GO for all three. You can swing it.” Mav says.

“What if I don't want all three?” You ask. She snorts.

“I'd call bullshit.” She says. “Who else would you chase after?”

“Maybe no one in the squadron.” You say. “Maybe I just want a normal life with a normal family after all this?”

“As if that's gonna happen.” Mav responds. “Please. Besides, if you just want one, there's always like, Wendy, or something.”

“That's the second times she's come up. There's no way.”

“Oh please. That girl would be happy beyond reason to stay with you or Ice the rest of her life, and you both know it. The sex is just a bonus.” She says. “Besides, I don't think she's ever going to break out of that mindset the RAF hammered into that brain of hers, so better to make sure she's treated right, right?”

“Are you trying to set me up with every girl here?” You ask, only partly joking.

“I'm just looking out for my brother from another mother, is all.” She laughs. “The one girl that's an exception to all of it is that Sakamoto chick.”

“How so?” You ask- knowing full well it's gonna deal with her craziness.

1/2
>>
She shrugs. “Girl don't seem right, Frank. Unbalanced. Treats Merlin like she's the queen of wherever just because she's dating Kenji. Shit, I bet she'd marry you in a heartbeat if she thought it meant Merlin and Kenji would be happier or something.”

“I'm sure Merlin would be, anyway.” you say.

She shrugs. “Ya know, might not be too bad a deal. Move back to the land of the rising sun, your sister's pretty tight with the princess, ain't she?”

“that's one way of putting it.” you say.

“Oh grow up. Witches have been doing that shit forever.” She responds.

“It's not that!” You say- it's not. “But she's my little sister! Man, how would you feel if Goose hooked up with some girl like Katsumi?”

“What's that supposed to mean?” Mav asks. “Older? Politically stacked? Physically stacked? Rich? What, you think she's taking advantage of Jess?”

You mumble a response.

“I didn't think so.” She says. “So don't worry about it so much. And anyway, you could move back to Japan with Katsumi, have a nice easy life from there on in.”

“I Don't want to stop flying!”

Katya stirs in your arms. And Mav grunts. “Fine. But think about what I mean, ya know?”

You nod, knowing she's not going to let it go otherwise.

“Good.” She says as you reach the house and she opens the door. “Now you take her out to the couch, we'll handle her, and you get your ass to bed.”

You nod, laying Katya out on the couch and straitening up, heading upstairs. You spare one look back over your shoulder at the slumbering witch.

Hell of a kiss, that was.

Jeez ghost I think that might be a record for least we've gotten done in a thread. Not that I'm complaining.

And, as you may have guessed, that's it for the night!

No Saturday thread this week, I have some plans with friends, god only knows how long I'll be out.

I said I'd do a Q&A this thread, so any questions you want answered, ask! There are some, I'm sure, that I won't answer, but odds are as long as it's not important for later (Or isn't something you shouldn't be trying to find out in quest) we should be ok.

But I'll close out the thread as usual by saying we'll be back at the regular time next week, and until then, Cheers!

>>37670472
Pretty much. the whole SEA area is a lot more quiet in setting than IRL.

Think of Vietnam in setting as wanting to make money and be left to manage their own affairs, basically. They have spats with their neighbors over islands in the south china sea, of course, but they want no part of the current conflict if they can avoid it

>>37670738

Merlin's a lot better now than she was, but her mental state is probably always going to be somewhat fragile.

>>37670755

In vino veritas is the best answer to that.

>>37670765

You had hold outs, of course- the last hostile martians weren't dealt with until the early part of the 50's, I think. Planefag's the guy to ask about that though, I'm not 100% sure what his plans are there.

As for Poland, in large part, it was kind of a situation where post-war Germany needed help rebuilding, and agreed to withdraw from Poland on the agreement they wouldn't have to pay a massive war indemnity (remember WW2 from 1939 to the end of 41 roughly followed our own). However, Russia got part of it as a 'buffer zone' against 'further western aggression'

I think my original notes said no more than 60 or so threads, about a year. I'd say we've gone past that a bit, hahahaha!

>I think my original notes said no more than 60 or so threads, about a year. I'd say we've gone past that a bit, hahahaha!
Just a bit there.
>>
>>37670823

It's known he survived, for the most part it's believed his mind is gone though. That said, he lost a lot of functional power in the early part of the 60s, and is largely a figurehead of sorts.

Witches in Russia largely got the shaft. Lenin saw them (perhaps rightfully) as being a bastion of power for the Romanov family, who'd traditionally been very good to the Russian witches. After the revolution, it was always thought they'd hid at least one of the Romanov girls (Anastasia, who lived in the St. Petersburg academy till the war) and lots of witch land and holds were taken and given back to the people. This, despite that the Russian witches didn't actively participate in the civil war as a group.

After lenin's death, Stalin started playing nice in an effort to rebuild trust and friendship with them. By the end of the 40s, that was largely successful, though there's always rumors about witches disappearing into siberia for... things.

>>37671098

The corps probably won't adopt anything on the board yet. The wyvern is too much of an air superiority fighter for them, and none of the air force designs are carrier capable.

Japan has the Shinden II, and there's a European superfighter project in the works too.

What did the Shark Twins do to Wendy when Frank left her to them in order for her not to say 'Sir Bishop'?

Who looks best in side-ties in Spellcaster?

Also I recall some suit questioning Frank when he returned from Putin's place about their assumption of a witch breeding program, and after reading World War Z. Did such a program existed, how did the coverns respond to it, and what happen to the subjects?

I also looked up the Russian anti-air system and kind of 'wow' at how large a missile that was and recalled what happened to that Polish witch?

was there anything left of her?

Also while I understand witch death are rare how are they in comparison to a regular soldier in terms of treatment and service?
>>

Best everything
>>
>>37671616
Oh god dammit halley I almost forgot about that

Prettygood/10
>>
>>37671626
Something to remember about most missiles is that they explode in close proximity to their target and kill via shrapnel, not the explosions themselves or hitting their target.
>>
>>37671677
Huh, I thought it was the concussion wave turning your brain and internal organs into paste?

Also forgot about that tid bit but it's a Huge missile though.
>>
>>37671697
It's meant for shooting down aircraft. And yes, even in artillery most casualties are caused by shrapnel. Unless you're using DPICMs. Delicious DPICMs.

But how does a witch with a magical shield stack up is what I'm wondering. Does she get turn into a fiery paste? Does the shranel overwhelm the shield and hit her? Does the concussion wave go through the shield crushes her insides and lets the previous options finish her off?

Picturing this makes me cringe.
>>
>>37671616
>Raita so best lewd
I was wondering what you could say to make up for not starting with Slider first but damn son, god-tier taste.
>>
>>37671756
The shield probably blocks the blast and then stops some of the shrapnel. How much it blocks before shattering is the difference between a witch and a corpse.
>>
>>37671756
Shockwave is likely absorbed, and some shrapnel is stopped. Some will get through, and the witch will catch at least a piece, possibly more. Weapons do horrible things to the human body.
>>
>>37671794
Well more like a fine paste considering these missile are supposed to take out aircraft and are again big, I assume for a human body, there won't be much left. if it were to receive the blast.
>>
>>37671794
>>37671825
Also I think there's a grey zone in protection when a shield breaks. We've seen smaller projectiles break a shield without harming a witch, and we've seen tank shells break a shield without directly pasting the witch but still sending them flying to some rather nasty impacts
>>
>>37671825
You misunderstand how these missiles work. The big damaging factor is shrapnel. Shrapnel doesn't cause you to disintegrate. Pieces might get lopped of, but, at least from mortar rounds, they tend to get stuck in the body or just shave the surface.
>>
At the end Konstantina won't be happy will she?

>>37671626

Let's see...

Not much, actually. had a nice night with Joe and Wendy, bit of girl-talk, trying to get her to admit she's attracted to Frank and Ice.

Wendy of course denied these things, but appreciated the talk.

Best in side ties?

Psychomoto. Maybe Davis.

No such program ever existed or exists to anyone's knowledge.

Depends. in terms of straight numbers, very. There's not that many witches to go around, afterall, and every nation on earth will spend a fortune to save even a witch that can't return to active duty. In terms of percentages, while a witch's chances are better, they follow the same broad curve as anyone else. it's impossible to predict any one witch's chances, of course.

>>37671756

Mostly shrapnel, though concussive blast and heat (in some cases) do their fair share of damage. No matter how you cut it, a witch dying is never pretty, since it's very, very rarely to a weapon meant to kill people, and more often to a weapon meant to kill tanks or airplanes (or warships, as the case may be)
>>
>>37671871
I can see two feasible outcomes that would satisfy her:
Dying at Frank's hand, or dying to save/help Frank.
>>
>>37671871

Actually? You'd be surprised.
>>
>>37671857
I see, Sorry for my lack of knowledge on missile ballistics.

Just hard to imagine something like that impact or explode near a human body without disintegrating.
>>
>>37671899
Better question, how likely is the flak to even hit a witch in the first place?
They're small, fast, and can vector into impossible angles (straight 90 degree turns or more etc.)
No matter how much you lead or how much flak you're throwing out, that's not going to be easy to hit.
>>
>>37671922
Well that's the thing, missiles don't really impact planes let alone witches, and the definition of 'near' is a lot more forgiving for shrapnel than a destructive blast
>>37671899
> (or warships, as the case may be)
...is there a witch that got pasted by a harpoon/exocet/granit/styx that I'm forgetting about, or is that just a hypothetical aside? Because that is even less of a pretty picture
>>
>>37671899
in your opinion, if Red and Psychomoto ever crossed sword, who will emerge victorious?
>>
>>37671928

Old style AA guns, even radar directed ones, are nearly useless, especially against modern witches. It's simply too hard to set up a corridor with enough guns to really have much of a chance. Phalanx or Goalkeeper type CWIS systems can make a good go of it, and Surface to air missiles can get through, of course.

SAMs vs. Witches tend to operate on two different theories. one is use a big missile, an S-300 or Patriot or something, that only has to get close. the other is use multiple missiles to engage a witch, and overwhelm her ability to defend herself.
>>
>>37671916
She also gets the frank?

or fall in love with the closest witch?

Actually, I'm kind of wondering if Frank knocking out/problem with intense flying is noticed by her?

I mean doesn't that change her perception of him slightly? Is it known outside those in Barin?
>>
>>37671966

Just an aside. Witches aren't shipgirls, despite the similarities, hahahahaha!
>>
>>37671966
It is worth mentioning that there are some "kinetic kill" missiles that are in the pipeline. They actually DO hit the target and don't explode. I'm actually really looking forward to the Cuda missile.
>>
>>37671990
Could laser weapons be appropriated as anti-witch AA in this scenario? It seems like 0 travel time and radar tracking would be pretty lethal.
>>
>>37672007
I guess there could've been some particularly unlucky sods on that flying carrier
>>

It's a language?

Anons, have we deciphered it yet because I think some of it went over our heads?

What did she asked by the way?

Tu-tut-tut-Tuut!

>I dropped it when I heard that there is no admiral.
They play it safe and makes him/her someone invisible. Can't upset yurifag/heterofag, eh?

Ok guys, this is the last set of questions for the night, if you want, we can do another one next Tuesday.

Highly embarrassed. (But it's indecent and lewd!) However, important to note, she hasn't gotten rid of it.

The twins are masters of the art, man. that's all that can really be said. (plus they had her measurements from the laundry)

Ice probably can't fit it.

I think it's an opinion call, personally.

Not really. Kimiko's more athletic than a lot of them, Davis did some model work in Cali for a while before getting a commission.

If, by some weird twist of fate, you guys managed to work it out so she was around with other wives, she'd consider them to be there only for domestic tasks so that she can continue to fly with him. She's clearly his favorite though.

But what did she intuit from Rex's shrugs? There's understanding and then there's assumptions and conclusions.

The invisibility is moreso to let the viewer self insert more easily to be with cute girls doing ship things. Greater emotional investment, thus more liked. Same thing with so many VNs with non pictured, non voiced MCs.

I won't let you kill her off Ghost!

Hmmmm, Lewd Wendy.

And ice can't fit it? Either that is sad because it's too short, or ver, very lewd because if she were to wear it, makes the short skirt all the more shorter.

I think he means engineering a situation where all our girls AND konnie are in the same location with us

I had a very weird dream/imagination.

I had a weird idea where instead of being a Jet Pilot (and maybe in a world without witches wasn't very clear), Frank ended up being a famous pianist who traveled around the world playing music.

Katya ended up being a singer/piantist who considers him a rival/love interest.

Natlya ended up being some sort of apprentice to Fran, trying to find meaning within Music and art though while talented, lacks a certain something.

Konstantina some sort of bodyguard escort (she wears a beret) acts kind of the same but more of a closet fangirl and wants an autograph but lacks a chance.

Slider and Ice are the girls that sit on his piano in sexy dresses.

Better then Mav, she ended up in a position that is not so good.
