Piccolo scoffs, turning to leave. Gohan follows, and the two exchange a few words before the Namekian warrior takes his leave.

"Well, I think we should follow Piccolo's example," Krillin suggests. "We have a party to get back to, after all."

"Yay!" Maron squeals in delight. "Let's go!"

Krillin carries Maron, with you and Gohan flying on each side of the couple, as the four of you make your way back to Kame House. When you land, the door flies open, and Chi Chi comes storming out.

You quickly explain everything, how she and the others were under the influence of the Black Water Mist, and how that caused her to attack you. You explain that you were forced to knock her out, and apologize profusely for doing so. You then go on to explain that Goku and Gohan were influenced as well, and tell her all that happened on the Lookout, including how Gohan was able to break the possession and help save everyone.

"I...you...," Chi Chi seems, for once, to be stunned. But that doesn't last long. "ARE YOU NUTS?! YOU'RE JUST A KID, YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN KILLED! AND GOHAN, AS SOON AS YOU WERE ABLE YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN OUT OF THERE!"

Bulma, Yamcha, and Master Roshi come rushing out of the house, wondering what Chi Chi is having a meltdown about. This results in you having to repeat the story for them, and soon, you find yourself sitting with the others around the table, being presented with the largest piece of cake.

Sometimes the little things make everything worth it.

The next several hours are full of good cheer as everyone talks and mingles, though there are a few close calls with Maron nearly instigating fights with Bulma and Chi Chi. Still, you and Gohan have fun, and when he wakes up, Goku only helps make the good cheer even greater. But soon, the time comes for you to head home.

In the most practical sense, though, it involves depleting our energy reserves. How does that jive with a certain fat, pasty robot with a knack for draining energy from its opponents? It'd be tricky to pull off without getting killed, but if Bulma could rig up something similar, some sort of sparring dummy that could rip the energy out of us repeatedly, that could be the next stage of loophole exploitation. Even if that wouldn't work, a simple training dummy that absorbs energy attacks could have its uses.

He's right, the chores don't take long at all. And, like so many days before, you quickly inform your parents that you're going to Gohan's once your chores have been completed.

Well, we helped save Earth multiple times, defeated Frieza and have generally tired to do good things, giving almost everyone "One chance" before blasting them for the evil they've done. Sure, we've struggled with the guilt of all the killing, but we tend to not just kill someone without giving them a chance to give up.
