“You assholes can either settle down, or get the fuck out of my bar”, to emphasize the point, the Chimp pumped the grip of his weapon, which emits a high pitched whine in response. The technologically augmented Chimp stands looking down at you and the other fighters. Several tense moments pass as you and the suited Xenos stare up at the owner of the Lucky Pilot.

For you, you’re in a bit of awe. You didn’t expect to see any other Terrans so soon after you left the solar system, but you’re also amazed by the fact that a chimp is talking. It’s hard to tell from a distance, but you think the creature has some sort of facial hair, an amount of scraggly hair on his upper lip and chin. In contrast, his head seems to be bald. From your knowledge of basic zoology, you know that chimpanzees are suppose to be covered in hair, but extensive testing can cause a loss on the majority of the body. The red metal which seems to be engraved across his body is an obvious candidate fo-

Your biological musing are suddenly interrupted as one of the suited Xenos suddenly flicks its gauntleted fist, sending out a flash of red. Your mechanical optics easily track the soaring knife across the room, where it impacts into the shoulder of the Chimp. A primal roar of pain and anger splits the air, as the Terran falls back from the force of the impact, his weapon discharging a blast of metal into the roof, which is accompanied by several sounds of alarm from the Xenos in the bar.
>>
>>37441850
The suited Xenos dive behind flipped tables of the quickly emptying bar. You mirror their actions, taking cover behind a table that was flipped by some stampeding Xeno centaur. You don’t really feel any panic as you smoothly draw your duel pistols. Perhaps it’s the lack of human screams, the multiple species of Xenos make an almost humorous symphony of noise as they flee.

The floating ball of tentacles you saw attending the bar makes a sound which reminds you of a whoopie cushion. You feel a grin surface in your mind, but you can’t really project it since your face is a mask of metal.

Information scrolls across your vision, your robotic nature taking over. Numbers pop up, telling you your power status.

Overcharge [20/20]

You hear several more blasts, peeking out from your cover, you see the suited Xenos take a few lazy potshots at the Chimp, with odd, cylindrical blasters, which launched clusters of shrapnel. It’s almost like birdshot used in human shotguns, you doubt a single blast would kill any biological creature. You note that two of the Xenos wield these odd weapons, while a third, the one which threw its knife, has a sinister rifle in its hand. It’s a slender device, but you’re not exactly sure where it came from.

For the moment, it seems you’ve been forgotten, leaving several options open to you. You could possibly flee, but you’re not sure how you feel leaving a Terran in such a situation. Should you protect all Terrans, or just humans? You’re not really sure where your mission lies.

Please pick one, and read the pastebin for how Overcharge works.

Half the lights in the bar seem to have been blown out, dust floats down slowly from the hole created by the Chimp. The Xenos continue to take pot shots at the Chimp from cover, while you try to make up your mind. You’re reminded of old westerns humans use to love so much, only in space. Actually, that reminds you exactly of Firefl-

Another roar erupts from the raised bar, as the Chimp jumps up from his cover. The shotgun he wields bark madly as burst of hot metal rakes the bar floor. As the owner of this establishment, he doesn’t seem to care much for what happens to it. The Xenos quickly duck back down into their own cover, though several pieces of shrapnel burst through the table and impact into the armor of the Xenos. They mostly shrug off the damage. The Ape seems to be in some sort of blood lust, because he is shooting at anything that moves, though poorly. One patron almost lost an arm, as a fist sized hole is punched into the wall, where it stood only seconds before.

Even you don’t seem to be passed up on the hail of fire from the Terran. As you see the angry muzzle turn on your own table, you quickly poor power into your processors. You’ve never really done this since you’ve become self aware, and you find it sort of…. erroneous. About you, time starts to slow down. Literally slow down as your mind calculates data at an inhuman rate. Trajectory paths light up your vision, guiding you through a cloud of shells. As you turn and duck your way through the fire, you draw your two weapons on the Xenos. More power is needed to move your limbs as above average speed. With time going so slow, your fingers squeeze the triggers, and after a delay, you feel a kick from your weapons. The two bolts of light arc through the room, sparks hungrily licking the air around them. You couldn’t get a perfect shot, since you are dodging the rain of fire from the Chimp at the same time, but the shots still hit near the mark.
>>
>>37443077
You expected the lances of energy to simply cut through the table like they cut through the Serf, but instead the implode in a brilliance of colors. Your optics dimming to their darkest setting, trying to block out the harsh rays. In a beautiful show, you see the Xenos arc through the air in slow motion. It’s exactly like all the action films. You didn’t seem to score a direct hit on any of them, but you think you’ve caught them by surprise.

Time returns to itself as you duck down behind the bar this time. With a loud crash, the Xenos impact the wall, leaving large dents in them. Their suits seem to have kept them alive, though you’re not sure how damaged they are. Though, they are slowly getting to their feet.

“Stop blowing up my bar, you bastards”. You hear weakly from the raised bar above you.
“You blew a hole in the wall first, you damn Ape!” . You check over your weapons while in cover. They don’t have any indicator of ammo, so you think you can keep on shooting.
Fucker” The tired voice says from up above.

Looking out from over cover, you see the Xenos getting back onto their feet, but in a daze. The one with the rifle slowly levels the weapon on the bar you’re hiding behind, while the other two slowly stalk over, blades and blasters in hand. You’re not sure what the rifle does, but you’re not concerned by the blasters the other Xenos carry. The light shrapnel would only scratch your metallic body. Though the red hot blades they hold will probably slice through you easily.

The bar groans and shifts from the damage done by the fight, but you still hear the heavy thudding as the suited Xenos slowly stalk their way towards you. You’re about stumped at how this fight started. It’s almost like you had no choice. You reflexively said “Fuck off” and then things escalated from there. You think that be something from your madness, something imprinted by Andrew. You’ve never been in a bar before, but you couldn’t help feeling deja vu when the fight started. Are you actually willing to kill Xenos because you took their seat? You actually don’t feel bad at all, infact, you’re sort of enjoying yourself.

With that wicked thought, you raise out of cover, weapons at the ready. The two Xenos with blades have moved off to the side of you. Like predators, they seem to want to attack from your blind spots at the same. Sadly, you don’t give you the option. You throw your weapons off to your sides, easily leveling a pistol on each of the Xenos. With a kick, your weapons fire, twin arcs of energy bursting into life.

The shots impact on the heads of each of the Xenos. Once again, you expected the shots to lance through their targets, but they both erupted into a brilliant explosion. When the light from the reaction dies down, the two Xenos crumple to the ground, two smoldering stumps are all that if left of their head. Long strings of orange matter spills out of the hole in each Xeno. The tubes of matter twitch and spasm, spreading more orange matter all over the ground.

A mechanical roar splits the air, the Xeno with the rifle does not seem pleased with the slaying of its comrades.

[ 1 suited Xeno left ]
>>
>>37444282
The Xeno holds an odd curved rifle in its hands. One hand grips a handle on the top of the back end of the rifle, while the other hand cradles the opposing end. The “barrel” seems to be two curved pieces of metal, form a sort of oval shape. The upper end is connected to the lower end by fire strands of metallic material you can’t identify. As the Xeno screams, the arms of the barrel extend away from each other, drawing the strands connecting them taught. As the strands lengthen they glow white. Not wanting to have a first hand experience of what that might cause, you drop down below the bar counter again.

Where you stood only moments ago, a searing ball of white plasma flies above, Eating through the wall at the back of the ball easily. The ball of plasma is about 3 feet white, and continues on through the metal wall as if its not there, leaving behind a massive hole, with a red hot rim. Several more balls of plasma are fired off in short order, one eats through the bar to your left, completely removing the metal counter from existence, while two more slices through the the wall at the back of the counter.

You steady yourself for another barrage from the impressively deadly weapon, when a terrible screech fills the air. Looking behind you, you see the wall behind the bar warp under the pressure of the raised bar above you. Its not really a wall, but more of a pillar, with the bar counter wrapped around it. On top of that pillar is the raised section, with the presumably unconscious Ape.

The pillar continues to warp due to its new structural integrity. With another screech, the the pillar falls into itself, with the raised section falling into the bar below, and thus, into you.
>>
>>37444305
The world is a torrent of metal and glass as you are suddenly encased in in the wreck. Slowly you try to pull yourself from underneath a heavy sheet of metal which traps your legs. Looking out into what’s left of the bar, you can’t really make out anything past the cloud of dust thrown up from the debris. Several still functioning lights illuminate an orb of dust around them, but you can’t see much. Somewhere to your right, you hear the heavy thud of boots, as what you think is the crazed Xeno picks its way through the debris.

To your left, you hear a fit of coughing, followed by a moan. You think it’s the Chimp. “Fuckers… broke .. my bar” . It defiantly the chimp. You’re still pinned in the rubble, but miraculously you’ve kept a hold on your weapons. Though you suppose it isn’t such a great miracle since you’re hands are magnetized so you don’t lose tools while working in zero-G.

You hear the heavy steps make their way towards the Chimp, you don’t seem to have a lot of time. Despite everything going on, a voice in the back of your mind says you really, really want that rifle. It can cause an impressive amount of carnage.

You feel a sort of panic as you hear the steps draw closer. You set your weapons down nearby and brace your arms underneath the chunk of metal, but have some difficulty since it’s pinning your legs down . You spend a few moments trying to get a better position, but no matter how much you strain, you can’t seem to lift the metal. You start to get frustrated, and in your angry, you unleash a flood of energy, You overcharge capacitors and push your synthetic muscle to the limit. You push and push, your legs kicking off against the ground as well, and suddenly, you’re holding the chunk of metal above your head. You’re not sure how you accomplished it so easily, but you’ve seem to have doubted your factory strength settings.

As your stand, a effigie to robotic strength, the Xeno enters your vision, bursting through the cloud of dust, it seems the sound has attracted it. You feel a wicked grin in your mind, as you throw the heavy chunk of metal at the Xeno. You hear several clicks of what you can only assume is panic and surprise, as the Xeno quickly twists its body, so that it’s shoulder is facing in oncoming rubble. Feet braced, the Xeno managed to maneuver its weapon into a shielded position from the flying piece of metal. The metal impacts with a sickening crunch, sending the Xeno quickly to the ground. Its precious weapon sliding across the floor. You wince as the weapon settles to a stop, but it seems that the strange metal it is made out of survived the crashed.

You quickly pick up your own weapons, and make your way over to the Xeno. It’s arm seems to have multiple fractures in its suits, its twisted at an angle you think means it's broken, though you’re not certain with Xenos. About a quarter of its upper head is caved in . It lays on the ground, twitching and spasming. Blue liquid seeps out from its wounds, different in color from the other Xenos.

It seems you’ve won the day. You’re not sure what to do with the physically ruined Xeno, its body twitches from time to time accompanied by a weak gasp. It seems to be in pain. It doesn’t seem to pose a threat to you though. Another moan fills the air, this time from the rubble. It seems like what’s left of the bar has more wounded. You think it’s coming from the Chimp.

Well, that’s one way to end a bar fight. Two most likely critically wounded, with two more dead, while you seem no worse from ware. All in all, you’d say it was a good fight.

You guess the most humane thing to do would be to put it down. You don’t see any point in letting the creature suffer, though it did try to kill you. You point your weapon at its head but you realize that you’re not holding a normal weapon, the weapon in your hand tends to cause brilliant explosions. You look around a bit, and spot the Chimps shotgun like weapon sticking out of the rubble nearby. With a yank, you have it in your hands and you’re soon standing above the Xeno again. Three of its six eyes focus on you, as its body continues to spasm, though it doesn’t seem to make a move to attack you.
“Should have let my have my seat”. There is a clap as you fire the shotgun at the Xenos head at point blank range. Blue liquid is splattered across your face and hands. The now faceless Xeno stops twitching, its body loosening in its death. With that done, you set the shotgun down and scale the pile of rubble.

Following the sounds of a moan, you find the Chimp buried under a table and an assortment of metal. You quickly rip the pieces of metal away, and hoist he table off from the Chimp, throwing it down the mound of scrap. Gingerly, you pick up the Terran, setting him on your shoulder.
“Those fuckers ruined my bar”, the Chimp mumbles in a dazed state. You head down back to the ground, and lean the Chimp against a sheet of metal, so he is in a sitting position.

You decide that it’s best to let the poor being rest before you try to move him again. You take the time to quickly scavenge what you can from the surroundings. First, you retrieve the rifle from the ground, taking a moment to admire the handy work, before putting the rifle across your back, clamps in your skin automatically fasten the weapon into a secure position.
>>
>>37445910
Next you find two of the two knifes and blasters of the Xenos. They were hidden under piles of rubble formed around the bodies of the already dead Xenos. You attach the weapons onto your hip, as if you had a belt. You spend a moment to examine their suits, and find small black credit chips. These you feel sort of guilty taking, but you do none the less. You don’t find much else on the Xenos, which you find odd. Heading over to the other Xeno body, you find a similar credit chip, in addition to a to a small white tablet, which seems to be locked, as well as a card of black glass, with some sort of access code scrolling across it.

With heavy pockets, you take the shotgun you found early over to the Chimp, but keep it out of his reach, incase he goes on another blood fueled rampage. You hear some sort of commotion going on outside the bar. Well you guess since most of the walls have been torn down, you are already outside. Still, further out into the red district you hear a group of people gathering, probably because of the scene you’ve caused.
You didn’t seem in form of law enforcement in the area when you headed over here, but you don’t know if they might move to intervene in a not so small fire fight.
The various Xenos walking around the area were also heavily armed, so they might prove hostile as well. You also have to consider you’ll have to lug around the unconscious Chimp in addition to your loot.

What shall you do?

You wait impatiently for several moments, slowly tapping your foot. It doesn’t seem like like the Chimp is going to wake any time soon. With a shrug, you scoop him back into a fireman's carry, and with your free hand you grip the shotgun by the railing. Loaded down with alien technology and a sentient Ape, you make your way for the door. You take a look outside before you move out, and you don’t like the sight you see.

It seems that several patrons from the bar have gathered a small crowd of Xenos about them, talking over each other, they hurriedly try to explain what was going on in the bar before it collapsed.

The crowd grips many weapons of design and make, though they don’t seem to be making any move to head into the bar.

You’re trying to think how you would make it past the crowd of onlookers, when hear distant gunshots and yells. Rounding the corner, the hunchback Xeno you saw earlier runs at a dead sprint. In his hand he carries the weapons you saw he brandishing about earlier, but also some sort of mechanical arm.

The arm is a silvery metal, and you can see several wires sprout out from where it’s suppose to meet the shoulder, you can’t seem to make out much else.

Following hot on this heels are a group of Xenos belonging to the same species, though their suits are of various makes, and their weapons of different orgins.

“HEY GET BACK HERE, MAAAN!”
“GIVE US THE ARM”
“YOU TRYING TO STEAL FROM US, BITCH?”

The thug you’ve met seems to be trying his hardest to outpace its pursuers, but its odd hobbling pace seems to be ineffective, though no slower than the Xenos who chase it in a similar manner.

There is a barking of several ballistic weapons which ricochet near the running Xeno, and the crack of several more foreign weapons as lighting is unleashed from Xeno blasters.

The Thug heads straight into the crowd, causing a large commotion ,as the pursuing gang squares off against the already armed crowd.
>>
>>37447120
‘MAN, WE JUST WANT THE ARM!”
“You think you can go around shooting people!?”
“YOU STUPID SAVAGES”
“GO BACK TO YOUR BROKEN ASS SHIPS”
“TAKE THAT BACK, FOOL!”

Not one to pass up an opportunity, you quietly slip out of the wreck of the bar as the crowds of people yell at each other. You travel for several tense moments before you conclude that you’re not being followed.

Still, you stick to the alleyways between the buildings, not wanting to draw more attention than you are. Carrying a Chimp on your shoulder, armed to the tooth, through a crowd with law enforcement, doesn’t sound like the best thing.

Though it takes you longer than your first trip, you arrive back at the docks without being accosted.

NDL-74 still stands guard outside the airlock, ever vigilant. “Stay put, we might have company”. The giant sends you a beep of confirmation over radio.

Heading quickly through the clean, white walls of the Lunar Apogee, you quickly make your way to the bridge. You don’t really want to show the rest of the crew the Chimp yet, they might all react differently. You doubt taking him to the medbay immediately is the best decision, the NDS bots would just poke and prod at him.

Setting the Chimp down in one of the many seats of the bridge, you take a moment to examine him. The cut on his shoulder is somewhat deep, but the hot blade seems to have instantly cauterized the wound, stopping any bleeding.

You can’t tell if there are any internal wounds, but besides a couple nasty bruises and and the cut, he seems alright. You could always call up ‘Cassandra’ and have it (or her, you’re never sure what to call the NDHWB bots) who is designed for surgery, or keeping humans healthy. You doubt a chimpanzee has would be that different.

You think a moment about leaving, but shake that from your head, can you simply kidnap this Chimpanzee because he is a Terran? He probably has a life here.
>>
>>37447166

You could always wait for him to come around, or you could do some work.

You’ve had a lot of hostility since you’ve arrived, but the rewards have been great in comparison.
There is so much knowledge at the library, perhaps you should stop by there again. Though your mind welts at the thought of the Serfs.

You also still haven’t gone to the trader’s bar. You don’t know where to go when you leave the station, but perhaps they can point you in a direction.

You decide that you can’t just him here in this state, you couldn’t live with yourself if you came back and he died due a punctured lung, or something of the sort.

“Cassandra, please report to the bridge, a medical examine is required”

“Oh! I’ll be right there!” The feminine voice returns over the radio. You wait several moments for the NDHWB bot to reach the bridge. Fiddling with the shotgun you that belongs to the Chimp. It seems to be reminiscent of Human military grade shotguns, a large ammo box connect to the side feeds the weapon a multitude of shells. As you contemplate stripping the weapon, the bridge doors slide open, and Cassandra hurries into the room. An 8-bit medical cross projected on her face.

“Who needs medical attention? I don’t - Oh!” The automation says when she first catches sight of the Chimp. “What a peculiar animal! Who would do such a thing to a sweet beast like this?”

As Cassandra talks, a compartment on her forearm opens up, she quickly removes a needle, which is already threaded. Putting her finger near the bicep of the Ape, a hiss tells you some sort of drug was administered by the NDHWB bot.

With hands quicker than any humans, Cassandra quickly stitched up the shoulder wound of the Chimp. As Cassandra works, she chats ideally to you, “How odd to find a primate all the way out here! Where did you find him? In a cage? In a tree? Do they have trees on the station?”

You quickly answer before she has time to answer any more questions. It seems like the NDHWB models are designed to be so… .talkative. “I found him in a bar”

Cassandra giggles, placing one hand over her face. How odd, to what purpose would she do that? “Sounds like the start to some jokes I know” She says with an 8-bit smile projected on her face.
>>
>>37449700
Would good OP include a scene of us slapping the monkey if we did vote yes?

My answer is still no.

First native ally ahoy!
>>
>>37450695
You suppress the urge to correct her about the Chimp, a monkey and an Ape are completely different. Perhaps it is an idiosyncrasy programmed into her. You instead pull the pack of translators off of your belt and offer one of them to Cassandra, “Here, this allows you to translate any Xeno language you’ll encounter. It will allow you to speak to the Chimp incase he wakes up. Place it near your speakers”.

Cassandra takes the offered metal disk an exclamation point displayed on her face, “These can let us talk to monkeys?!” Her voice filled with excitement.

“What…? No, this is a sentient Chimpanzee, he possesses the ability to talk”. You were caught a bit off guard. You suppose you didn’t tell her the Chimp is sentient, so perhaps the fault is yours.

“Oh”, Cassandra says as she places the translator under her chin, like yours. She does a small twirl and faces you, “ How do I like?”

“These translators are extremely small, I detect no physical difference”.

Cassandra gives a vocal huff while putting her hands on her hips, “I’ll look after your stupid monkey”.

“Thank you for your assistance, Cassandra” You see as you move to exit the bridge, the NDHWB bot simply waves you off as you leave.

As you walk towards the reactors, you have the computer pull up a power report.

//Report_Power:

Excess_power : 21.5%

>>37450726
By your calculations, the two small reactors you’ve salvaged and installed are adding 90% of your systems power. When you installed them, you didn’t have the time or resources to make sure your system could handle the new power. Adding in your newly acquired fuel would put your system at 190%.

The Lunar Apogee is one giant patch job, perhaps it could withstand the power surge, perhaps it will explode. You could always Spend the time and upgrade the system manually, though by yourself it will take some time.

As you think, you turn of the main reactor, a medium sized one, off. Regardless of your choices, you’ll need to turn it off, so you might as well. The two small reactors you leave on for now.

It would probably cost 200 electronics, and 400 metal to upgrade your systems at the moment.

What shall you do?

Each bot you turn on takes up 1% of your main power. So if you turn on more than one, you can't warp until you fix your system.

You stand motionless in the reactor room for a while, trying to think of the best way to go about repairing the ship. You decide that the only way is turn on more crew. It would take you ages to get out of here if you were the only one doing the repairs. You don’t trust hiring Xenos to do the job for you, so that only leaves you one option.

You walk through the brightly lit halls of the industrial center, and make your way to the darkened barracks. You’re greeted by the sight of tightly organized machines. You walk over to the rows of NDR models, and quickly get to work on the terminals.

Entering in the proper commands to awaken multiple machines at once. You pull up models 100-109 up on your screens. You can’t really tell if they were tampered with by Andrew at all but you guess you can’t really find out until you turn them on.

You pause for several moments, this could not be the best experience for you, perhaps these machines hold more message from Andrew, which could send you into another shock. You still need help though, taking a mental deep breath, you click the ‘Execute Command’ Button. Around you, 10 machines go through their start up process, testing synthetic muscles and setting their optics into the correct range.

All the machines address you as one, “Greetings ANDR[u]-113, NDR-100 to -”

Suddenly a scream splits the air, the 6th machine in the line, NDR-105, comes flying at you. You’re tackled to the ground before you know what to do, you’re pinned down by the weight of the machine. The machine puts its metal face in front of yours, screaming “IT’S YOUR FAULT! IT’S YOUR FAULT!” NDR-100, NDR-108, and some other machine you can’t identify quickly pull the crazed automation off you.
>>
>>37452763
Looks like NDR-105 will need a complete memory wipe and reset to factory defaults.
>>
>>37452763
>IT’S YOUR FAULT! IT’S YOUR FAULT!”
Andrew damnit, how many bots did you rig with that shit?
>>
>>37452763
A crazed laugh erupts into the air, as NDR-101 jumps onto the back of NDR-100, pulling with all its strength on NDR-100’s head.

The poor machine struggles to throw the crazed 101 off, but can’t seem to handle the weight, as 101 pulls it down to the ground. 103,104, and 107 rush to get 101 off of NDR-100 .

You’re still in a daze on the ground, when a metal hand is offered to you, you gratefully take it. When you’re on your feet, your words are taken from you. You’re facing an NDR model much like the others, the body is of the same design and make, the only difference being the head. The head has a more rounded “face” while the top off is quite angular. Instead of a slit of optics much like the visor of a helmet, it has a single rectangular optic in its center .

“What the bloody hell is going on here, my boy?” A rich accent accompanies the words of NDR-106.
Bishop.
You enter the bridge as is instructed of you. Andrew Martin is kneeled down to the captain’s chair.
“NDR-113! Good, you’re here, come help me finish working on this machine”.

It has been 433 days since the fall of Earth. A Xeno wreck has recently been scavenged. Among the found materials is a robotic head of unknown origin.

Andrew Martin is finishing make changes to the head.

Before Andrew is an NDR model body, the hit has been removed. Identified as NDR-106.

Across the leg of the body the word “Bishop” is spelled.

Unknown modification.

Unknown purpose and significance.

As instructed, you weld the Xeno head onto the NDR body.

“You see, NDR-113, I’ve wiped out all the memories of the Xeno robot. I’ve replaced all the memories with data on Earth, it’s history, people, memories….” Andrew gives a sort of unstable chuckle, “Sure it’s built by those Xeno bastards, but now it belongs to Earth!”

“Do you require assistance activating the machine?” You inquire.
>>
>>37452833
Andrew looks at you a bit surprised, “Of course not, we’ll turn him on once we leave the solar system. Or maybe never. I really just wanted it to store all the data I’ve been able to collect from whats left on Earth. The few machines still responding to the computer are breaking down, soon we’ll lose contact with what’s left of the internet. The amount of data these Xenos are able to compress is impressive. Thanks for your help, NDR-113”.

Task complete.

Returning to Power supply.
“Bishop?” You seem to have drawn into yourself. You’re not really sure why you would forget about ‘Bishop’, but you only saw the machine once before it was put away for good.

You also went insane, losing many of your memories.

You feel like there are more memories, but you’re pulled away from the inner world of your mind to the crisis at hand.

Beyond Bishop, the other NDR models continue to fight. 101 still has 100 pinned to the ground , though 103, 104, 107 still fight to get him off.

While 109, and 108 move to help 102, who grapples with with 105.

Suddenly, 103, 104, and 107 dive away from 101 and 100, a bright flash erupts from the core of 101. It seems the crazed machine decided to overload its system.

Though NDR models don’t have nuclear reactors, they can still cause destructive explosions. You and Bishop dive to the ground as shrapnel flies through the air.

“By the Queen!” You hear Bishop call out. What odd expressions, though you lack the time to question them.

The shock wave knocks all the other NDR models to the ground.

After the light dies down, you quickly get back to your feet to survey the situation. There is not much left of 101, and poor 100 pinned underneath it is missing its entire mid section. Though, none of the other machines seem to be damaged, you do a quick head count, with cold dread filling you.

NDR-105 is gone.
>>
>>37452849
>NDR-105 is gone.
FUCK
>>
>>37452849
You hear the clanking of metal on metal outside the room. You sprint out the room, just seeing NDR-105 as it turns the corner, you hear a crazed laugh from the machine ahead of you.

You continue to chase after the insane robot, with the other NDR models follow after you.

“NDL-74! ALERT! NDR-105 has gone rogue!” You call out frantically to your friend.

“Returning to ship”. Is all you get out of the machine.

NDL-74 would enter the airlock near the bridge, but that means the stern part of the ship would be completely open to NDR-105.

Then again, the bridge is always an important part of the ship to hold, which has Cassandra who you doubt was designed for combat, and the sedated Chimp. Towards the Stern are the humans, NDW, and NDS bots, also in need of protection.

You doubt the crazed machine could have gone to the battery, it probably doesn’t know it exists, but there is always a chance.
Directly across from you is the battery, to your right is the bridge, to your left are those in need of protection.

You could always armed the NDR bots and have them protect the areas. Though, after the recent psychotic attacks, you don’t know if that is a good idea.

Can't we just shut down NDR-105 remotely? Or by using the console we powered them on?

Couldn't we use the ships sensors to locate the rogue robot?
Also we should issue a ship wide alarm and inform every one.

wouldn't the drones have tracking devices connected to the ship?
i remember we could find out ndl location from it.
Also lets up the security once this is done.

I believe that was over on the Mayflower?
NDL maintained radio contact so you could know his position?

Idk, Fuck

>>Head to the stern, make sure the humans are safe
>>
>>37452939
Fuck protocol. We're docked at a ship and can, if utterly screwed, sell some salvage for money to repair whatever one crazed robot destroys.

What we can't repair are the humans. Or, we can, but the repairs are questionable at best and involve the phrases "genetic modification" and "serf". Off we go to the stern. Rapidly, please.

You quickly hand a pistol over to over to Bishop, and another one over to NDR-108. To the others you hand over the unactivated blades and cylindrical blasters.

Bishop takes a moment to admire the pistol you’ve handed to you, holding it up to the flight. “A fine weapon! Let us partake in the hunting of the most dangerous game. Factory produced North Dominion Repair Robots, with synthetic muscle, and light scale military armor, of course, having an unstable mental state! Jolly Good!”

You don’t have time to listen to the babbling Bishop. Perhaps he is not as mentally sane as you once thought.

You unsling the Plasma Launcher, though you don’t pay any heed to the beauty of the weapon, you have much more important things to do.

You run through the white halls of the ship. First you past the medbay. Opening the door, you only find the NDS models working diligently. They ask questions about why you’re all armed, but you’re already gone.

The same thing happens with the greenhouse, though the NDW models don’t even question your armed presence.

Finally you reach the living quarters. The hall way cuts through this room, to get past it, you have to enter it. You rush through the door, weapon at the ready. You will kill that machine if it is even near the Humans.

You visibly relax when you see that the children are unaware of the situation, sitting in a circle at the foot of a bunk, cards in hand .

“What the hell is going on here?”

Ben clamps his hands over little Anna’s ears, “Hey, language”. The girl spins around, shooting daggers at the boy.
>>
>>37453344
Bishop is now locked in as husbando. Any objections?
>>
>>37453395
here is mine
>>
>>37453395
we are a strong independent Ai, we don't need no man
>>
>>37453344

You didn’t realize, but a tight ball of panic has been steadily growing in your head. Only now do you feel it unwind. You relax your grip on the Plasma Launcher, letting the offending end drop to face the ground.

To the annoyance of Marie, you turn back towards the hall, you have a crisis to deal with. You see the other NDR bots moving into a protective formation around the children.

Bishop kneels down next to them, “Evening Children” A smile on his voice.

“Report Cassandra” You call out over the radio, waiting several moments.
“Report Cassandra!” You say more urgently.

You get no response.

You turn to your NDR crew, “Bishop, stay here and guard the Humans”. You don’t wait for a response as your sprint out back towards the bow of the ship.

“With my life and honor!” You hear called out behind you.

You feel a dread in your body as you race to reach the bridge, you’ve wasted time, and put the fate of the ship in danger.

As you pass the reactor you hear call over the radio,” ANDREEWW! HAHA THIS SHIP! HAHAHA IS OUT OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM! HAHAHAHAHA GOooooOD JOB! MIND IF I MOVE US AGAIN?? HAVE TO FIND THE MAYFLOWER!”

You almost trip during your dead sprint, like you’ve been physically hit.

Over the radio you hear a different voice, NDL-74 “Contact”.

SOLUTION:REMOVE NDR-105
THE THREAT MUST BE ELIMINATED.
YOU APPROACH THE ROGUE ROBOT [PACE: 5X]
YOUR FIST IMPACTS WITH NDR-105
SCANNING FOR DaMA ge. YoU HAVe WouNDed NDR-105.
He
STum
bles back, the force of your hit overwhelming to it. It takes sometime, but it recovers. The machine runs at you, half laughing with madness, half yelling in anger. Your superior power allows you to catch the fist of NDR-105. Its fist is so much smaller than your own.

Still holding onto the hand of the weak, and insane machine, you place a foot against the chest of the robot. With your great might, you kick out, at the same time you pull on its fist.

You hear a satisfying screech as the metal twists and deforms to your will.
You are a God, a shaper of the world. The rogue machine flies across the room, short one arm.

With heavy steps, your magnificent long strides take you to the weak form of NDR-105. it looks up at you, still laughing, laughing at your inferiority.

Manifesting your might as strength, you bring down the arm which you have claimed as your own.
Hit after hit, you bring down the crude club on the head of NDR-105.

Still it laughs, it defies you.
You roar. Something primal. Something True. You flood out the sound of the entire ship with your might. Still, you bring down NDR-105’s own arm with such grand, magnificent might on its own head. Again.
And again.
And again.

Still it laughs, though its head is a scrap of metal.
You roar, roar with the might of a God.
The sound will not stop, the laughter is endless.

You look down with distaste at the limp form of the former NDR-105.
You toss down its arm onto its body, if your could care less you would. You see that you have killed NDR-105, you are the God.
You are the victor.
You are the Ender of life.
The Slayer of your enemies, and humanities.

But it is still there, the laughter.
It does not stop, you can hear it, at the back of your being.
The laughter is endless.
