Oh shot future Kaguya time im guesing

After Goku, Kaguya, and the other Z Fighters returned from Namek, the Earth enjoyed a period of relative peace. Unfortunately, it would not be long before one of its greatest heroes would be tragically taken, as Goku, gripped with a terrible virus, passed away. Still, even with Goku gone, the remaining Z Fighters were able to live in peace.

But, it was not to last, as, six months later, two beings of frightening power appeared on an island nine miles south of South City. Piccolo, Vegeta, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, Krillin, and even Yajirobe rushed to the scene, only to fall one by one at the hands of these unstoppable monsters.

As the Z Fighters rushed to the island, two young warriors, however, remained blissfully unaware of what was occurring. Kaguya, a young man living on a farm with his parents, had been busy training three of his friends; Kazuma, Billy, and Haya.

We should have Nappa train Gohan how to control his monkey form.

You and Kazuma sit comfortably on the ground as you watch Billy and Haya spar. As you observe your two friends fighting back and forth across the farm, you can't help but marvel at how far they've come.

After a few years of training, they've reached levels of power that would make them feared by many across the Universe. Other than Frieza, and some of your friends, you can't think of anyone who would be able to stop the three young warriors you've trained.

Kazuma has grown in many ways over the years. He's grown in height, of course, as all of you have. He's grown in strength; another quality you all share. But, the most noticeable change in your friend is his confidence. Kazuma is no longer the terrified little boy he once was, and you can't help but be happy to see your friend having come into his own.

Billy has tempered his recklessness, just a tad. He still loves fighting and all of the skills you have taught him over the years, but the amount of collateral damage he's caused has significantly decreased.

Haya is as confident as ever, and that's served her well in her training. She's gone from being the weakest among your friends to the strongest, and has made it perfectly clear that one day she intends to surpass you.

She has not appreciated the Vegeta jokes that has earned her.

Haya jumps into the air as Billy makes a leg sweep. She holds her right hand over her head, gathering energy.

"Shuryūdan!" she yells, throwing the small ball she has created at the ground in front of Billy.

It detonates upon reaching the ground, and the blast knocks Billy off his feet, giving Haya the opportunity to rush him, kicking him in the chest and placing one foot on top of him, grinning triumphantly.

"Great job, Haya," you compliment your friend.

She grins in your direction. "What else is new?"

"You're..crushing me.." Billy informs her.

She chuckles, looking down at him. "Right, what else is new?"

Billy grumbles as Haya steps off of him, offering him her hand and helping him to his feet. You tell Billy he fought well, and as he comes to sit beside you, you turn your attention to Kazuma.

"Do you want to fight Haya?" you ask.

Kazuma smiles, getting to his feet and approaching his opponent. Haya smiles in return and jumps back, getting into a fighting stance.

Kazuma gets into a defensive stance, and Haya makes the first attack. She strikes quickly and rapidly, attacking without any real pattern in an effort to keep Kazuma on the defensive. It only works for a few moments before Kazuma makes a high kick at Haya's chin.

Haya summersaults backwards to avoid it, and leaps into the air to evade an energy blast from Kazuma. Staring down at her foe, she raises her hand above her head and gathers energy.

"Shuryūdan!" she yells, throwing the small ball she has created at Kazuma.

Even though his back is to you, you can almost see the smirk on Kazuma's face as he brings his right hand down to his side.

"Seishin nihontō!" he shouts, swinging his hand in an arc in front of himself.

A beam of energy extends from his hand, and he swings it at the approaching blast, knocking it back at Haya.

Haya lets out a shocked "No way!" before her own blast detonates right in front of her, knocking her away and disorienting her.

"Woah, when did Kazuma learn to do that?" Billy asks.

"Kazuma just created it recently," you inform Billy.

"Ah, and he wanted to surprise Haya with it? Nice," Billy comments, laughing at Haya being the one at a disadvantage for a change.

Kazuma, meanwhile, doesn't let Haya recover. He takes to the air and swings the energy beam, striking Haya in the chest and knocking her away. He pursues, and strikes her again, and again, and again.

Haya just floats in the air, getting pummeled by the blade of energy Kazuma has created. You find yourself glad Kazuma didn't design the attack to slice through things, or Haya would be in pieces.

Finally, she raises her hand and blocks a strike, hissing in pain as she grabs the beam and uses it to pull Kazuma in. A kick to the face knocks him away, and the beam of energy dissipates as Haya throws a barrage of energy blasts in Kazuma's direction.

Letting out a less than manly shriek, Kazuma desperately bats away each energy blast, knocking them around the farm. You and Billy quickly get up and intercept each one, but you see one heading for the cabbage patch and know you can't reach it in time.

At the last instant, it's deflected back into the sky.

"Hey, watch it!" Nappa yells.

He grumbles and goes back to his work. You've never really understood why he's so defensive of his cabbages. The fascination just doesn't make sense to you, or, anyone really. Well, almost anyone. When Vegeta saw Nappa tending to the cabbages, he responded with disgust and pity.

Must be a Saiyan thing.

"Be more careful, you two!" you shout to your friends, who are currently engaged in a fierce melee.

Kazuma knees Haya in the stomach, raising his right hand above her head as she hunches over. With a swing, he recreates his energy blade and strikes her on the back of the head, sending her plummeting to the ground.

She gets up a few seconds later, rubbing her head.

"Oww..." she groans.

Billy laughs. "Not so fun, is it?"

Haya shoots him a glare and turns to look up at Kazuma.

"You win," she tells him. "This time."

Billy laughs. "No thanks. Can't really call it a fight when I'm down before I can throw a punch."

Kazuma nods in agreement. The reaction is expected. In the past, the three have each tried to face you before, and none of them have even come close to winning. This is mostly due to their stubborn insistence that you not power down while facing them, as they want matches with you to be an assessment, not practice.

"I would if I didn't have one mother of a headache right now," Haya tells you. "Guess I'll have to kick your butt another day."

"So, what do you guys want to-" you begin, but cut off when you suddenly realize that you can sense many of your friends gathered in one spot.

Before you have much time to think about what they're doing, Piccolo's energy suddenly vanishes. Haya blinks and looks in the direction of your focus. She doesn't seem to understand what has you so concerned until Vegeta's power disappears.

Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yajirobe all follow soon after.

"What...just happened?" Haya asks.

You're not sure, but another energy source catches your attention.

It's Gohan, and he's heading South.

"Then let us help you!" Haya insists.

"Haya, if Vegeta couldn't handle whatever this is, we can't either," Kazuma tells her gently.

"Then what good was all of this training?!" Haya demands. "We've worked ourselves for years, getting stronger and being better fighters. What's the point of that if we're just going to hide while Kaguya saves the day?"

You grab your sword, a prize you received from a bet with Yajirobe, from the ground and strap it to your back.

"If I'm not back by tomorrow, get everyone to Kami's Lookout," you instruct, acting as if you haven't even heard Haya's outburst.

Billy and Kazuma nod, rushing off to do as instructed. Haya, on the other hand, marches over, placing herself directly in front of you.

"Do you really think you won't be back by tomorrow?" she asks.

The truth is, you don't know. You can't sense any power levels where your friends were, and that bothers you, because something caused them to disappear. You're going into this situation blind, with only Gohan as backup. It could get back.

Haya steps forward, looking you dead in the eye.

"Promise me you'll come back," she demands.

"I promise," you tell her softly.

She nods, taking a step back. "Good. You'd better keep your promise."

Her tone and the look on her face leave no room for argument, but her expression suddenly gains a small bit of humor.

"If you don't come back, she'll kill me," she says with a laugh, and, as she turns and flies off, you find yourself hoping that you'll be able to keep your promise.

With your friends going to make sure everyone stays safe, you take off, racing South to meet up with Gohan.

You arrive at an island a few miles South of South City, and find yourself flying over the ruins of what was once a city. But, nothing but rubble remains. You can't even sense any energy, except for one source.

Descending to the streets, you land beside Gohan. A smile briefly makes its way onto his face as he sees that it's you, but it vanishes just as quickly as the reason for being here rears its ugly head.

Tien and Chiaotzu lie dead just down the street.

You and Gohan approach the bodies, kneeling down and checking to make sure that they are, in fact, dead. It takes only a moment to confirm your fears, and you feel sick to your stomach as you realize that, if Tien and Chiaotzu died, the others probably did too.

Forcing yourself to focus and not get lost in grief, you look over to Gohan.

"Do you know why they came here?" you ask.

Gohan, trembling as he looks at the corpses, manages only to shake his head. He opens his mouth to speak, only to let out a cry of grief and fly a short distance away. Following, you see what has him so heartbroken.

Piccolo and Krillin are dead, and their corpses are at your feet.

Gohan falls to his knees, tears streaming down his face.

"All of those people...." he cries, his body beginning to tremble.

You're about to say something, but pause when you notice Gohan's power suddenly begin to rise.

"And...Tien, and Chiaotzu....K-Krillin...and Piccolo!" he shouts, slamming his fists to the ground.

"What kind of monster would do this..." he chokes out, rising to his feet. "I'll find them. I'll find them and make them PAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!"

Gohan's hair turns golden, and his power level shoots through the roof, multiplying so many times over it's astonishing. His power Level grows higher than Vegeta's, than Frieza's, maybe even higher than yours.

The ground around you shakes, and what's left of the buildings begin to crumble. The Power Up Gohan has received makes no sense, unless...

You remember Vegeta constantly ranting about becoming a Super Saiyan. Could Gohan have done it?

The Half-Saiyan turns to you, his Saiyan side quite obvious in the expression on his face.

"Are you with me?" he asks.

He smiles and nods gratefully. You can tell he's glad to have someone to face whatever this new threat may be with.

"Let's search the city," you suggest.

The two of you quickly zip around the ruins, and eventually the whole island, but find no sign of whoever or whatever murdered your friends. You meet back up over the city, telling each other that your search yielded nothing.

"Well, if they want to destroy more, they'd probably go to the nearest city," Gohan tells you. "And South City is just a few miles away."

"Lead the way," you tell your friend.

The two of you fly North, and find that Gohan's guess was correct. Explosions rage across the city. The cry of terrified civilians fills your ears.

Clenching his fists in rage, Gohan charges into the city, with you following close behind. You're not sure what you're expecting when you enter the city, but it probably isn't what you see.

As a crowd of people flees down the street, a young man with black hair and a young woman with blonde hair stay behind, raising their hands towards the terrified mob. What's stranger about this whole thing is that you can't sense their energy.

"No!" Gohan yells, throwing a blast of energy down at the pair.

They glance up and leap away as the blast strikes the ground.

"Well, it looks like we missed one," the woman comments.

"Or two," the man comments, glancing at you. "Seems like there's no shortage of people with a death wish today, Eighteen."

"Well they're starting to get on my nerves, Seventeen," the woman replies.

"Well, we can't have that," the man tells her, raising his hand and extending his palm towards you.

As you leap to avoid those attacks, you see Gohan fighting the woman, and losing badly. With two quick strikes, she sends your friend crashing into one of the few buildings that are still standing, smirking as she turns her attention to you.

The man materializes in front of you, a smirk on his lips as he knees you in the stomach. Blood gushes from your mouth as you hunch over, and, through blurry vision, you see him raise his palm to your face. There is a flash of light, and everything goes black.

You wake up in a familiar room, one you spent a good deal of time in during your training with Kami. Only, this time, the guardian isn't waiting to discuss your progress or give you advice, and he never will be again. Piccolo is gone, and Kami died with him.

You sense Mr. Popo outside, along with Gohan, Haya, Kazuma, and Billy. You can't sense your parents, or Nappa for that matter.

Yeah, with no comparison, and with both him and Nappa hitting a wall as far as growing stronger, Vegeta just figured that was it. He sort of resigned himself to the fact that he would never surpass Kaguya, and, there was very little interaction between the pair in the years leading up to this point. Vegeta was incredibly disappointed that his strength didn't live up to the legend, and, with no way to surpass Kaguya, he pretty much got out of fighting until the Androids arrived.
