Drawfag here, currently working on a sketch of Master Yval. I have her face more or less completed and just need to color it. She bounces off to the droids and quickly disappears into the crowd. Cael'la's words repeat in your mind about Nivah and you feel your right hand unconsciously ball into a tight fist. Her journal opened so many questions in your mind. Why were those pages torn out? Who was her father? You get the feeling that at the very least she hasn't told you the whole truth. Part of you feel guilty for even digging through her things in the first place. That part of you however is not strong enough to make you regret your actions. You are to become Sith. Your entire life has been spent in a hostile environment, and this is no different. You will not allow sentiment cloud your judgement. Even for her, until you know the truth.

Out of the corner of your eye you see a group of apprentices huddles together that draws your attention. They appear to be speaking in hushed tones and are trying very hard to keep it private. You recognize at least one of them as Master Xalia's apprentices.

There are circumstances where more then one apprentice can survive, depending on what decisions are made and how you influence your peers. The most common result is that one or two apprentices from every Master graduates, and while more than that is uncommon it's certainly not unprecedented. Death's are usually common near the beginning of the training of a 'class'. Those who are too weak to even be worth the time to train are weeded out relatively quickly. After that there tends to be a void where everyone gauges each other and tries to determine the weak from the strong. From there deaths and crippling injuries start becoming a regular thing as people start to play 'The Game' and end up on top.

There are other Master training at the academy. Training is staggered just to ensure the optimum use of the trainers and equipment.
Three masters make up a 'pod' and that group is considered to be a class.
Members of a pod train together and are taught together in some instances, however they are only really in direct competition with other apprentices under their Masters.
Keep in mind none of this is directly canon, I've found varied and scattered info about the Sith Academy so I kind of fudged my own system.

Her face transforms from worry to relief.
