Finally, we spot the sign, marking the end of the Animal Line, breathing a collective sigh of relief. I guide us through the last few turns, and in fifteen minutes, Claire parks the car on top of a hill near the camp.

I nod at Avery and point towards the bathroom. "We'll attract less attention in there." We slip inside, peering out the door, as the party continues on. We quickly scurry into cubicles as someone comes in too piss, before returning to door watching duty.

Eventually, that pastor guy stands at the raised dias at the front of the church. With a clearing of his throat he speaks up, waiting for the chatter to die down, the music dimming.

"Welcome, one and all, to the Shining Prayer Camp." He says cheerily. "I'm so glad that we, as a community, can be the ones to help those of you who have been led astray by sin."

The room is quiet, barring a few coughs as he continues. "Now, children, I'd like to assure you, we are only here to help facilitate your wise decision, to accept the Gods back into your life, and to attain a better understanding of your role in the world. You were all very brave to reach out to us in the first place, and I thank you all for that. I hope we can all get to know each other and the Gods, and grow as people in your time here. Thank you." He steps down, to a mild round of applause.
