Whatever it is, she doesn't want what's inside running through her mind, and the fact that it's got your dad's power keeping the door locked just means that it's got your seal of approval for smashing through. You transform and...you aren't transforming, you can't use your powers in here if what Lubu said was true. She is the one in charge here apparently so all you have is your strength of will.

So that is what you do, you REALLY want to get through the door so you ready your fist for some punching. Your hand flies and smashes into a black field which, besides the black lightning shooting up your arm, makes you feel like you just punched a brick wall without any of your powers active.

After some seconds of pushing against it the barrier shatters and your fist connects with one of the boards and smashes it in half. It's at this point that you notice that your fist is bleeding lightly. Your knickles are cut several times but you push past the pain and rip off the rest of the boards covering the door.

When you open the door you stare dumbfounded, this isn't anything at all what you were expecting.

Inside the room is a very lavish, though dark bedroom. That isn't too surprising though the style seems to mesh well with your dad's castle. What really is surprising is the fact that you got a bunch of pint sized green-haired girls in pajamas.

One of them runs towards you and before you know it, tacklehugs you into the ground in a way not too different to Aomi. "Horray! Its our big sister! Its so nice seeing you again!"

The the other ones bunch up around you introducing themselves as well.

"I'm Sadness." Says one very sad looking girl.

"Jealousy, you can hug her all you want now. I'm Timid" says one in a very quiet voice.

You feel like a kindergarten teacher.

Despite them being full of energy, all of them look undernourished, as if they've been locked up intere for a long time. Probably since birth.

"Wait if you're happiness that means that every time she looked smug and full of satisfaction..." You begin.

"Yes, that girl was faking it." She says as a matter of factly.

"We are all parts of her that were sealed away when we were born." says Sadness, "Our true self made this maze to hide inside."

You are getting the feeling that dad has gone too far. He went past the line of no forgiveness long ago, but he keeps running past the line.

You're sort f good with kids you think, and these girls are so adorable it's hard to turn them down at all. In the end you asked them to guide you and they all heartily agreed. Bravery began leading but you got the impression she had just a general idea where her other parts are. She leads you through several splits in the maze and you get the impression they all know they're getting closer.

The white granite walls, completely immaculate and smooth before have slowly but surely grown cracks as you've gotten closer to your destination.

You come to one last turn only to be met by a surprise.

"These aren't supposed to be here." One of them says, you're not sure which.

The walls have taken a turn for the worse. There are large pieces of stone on the ground and on the distance you can see giant thorned vines.

"What is it?" You ask.

"We're not sure if we made those things or something else did. Right before you came to find us there has been something else lurking in the maze. If it reaches our true self we are all going to die." Bravery explains, without a shred of fear in her voice.

"If they're blocking the path I can try and make a way for us to get through." You say, "I'm not sure how it'll work out or for how long but I can definitely do it." After all in here willpower is everything.

You walk up to the tangle of vines, you feel ready to save your sister. Ready to do anything to get her out of your dad's icy grip. With the little green haired kids in tow you say to the vines, "Get out of the way, let us through." you put your will into your words, ordering them to do as you say.

The previously impenetrable tangle of thorns and vines opens a path before you. It's not a big path but it's enough to let you through. It isn't easy to keep the vines away as you feel their will trying to oppose your order like some very uncomfortable pressure. In the end you pull through but you are more tired than you expected.

"Wow you're really strong this way too!" Happiness says, sounding pleasantly surprised.

The vines fall behind you and in front of you is a big combat arena with Mirror Shield clad in her armor waiting for you.

The little ones seem undeterred by her presence.

"Something is weird." One of the says.

"So you're here to fight me off even though I'm here to help you." You say, you only get a scowl and her shield slamming into the arena once, twice, several times. The sound echoes and makes it seems like there are dozens of people slamming their shields into the ground.

She stays quiet and glares, you walk up to her carefully and keep talking, "Doing any of this won't help you survive, dad did something to you and Mirror Spear and even though I saved you your mind is slowly getting destroyed."

"Haven't you noticed big sister?" Bravery says, "She is just an empty shell, made to try and stop you from getting to our true self." She says and walks up to the two of you. "Our true self is behind those curtains in the back."

The little girl walks up to the shell with the shape of Mirror Shield, jumps and strikes her forehead with her open palm while saying "Sleep."

Mirror Shield falls to the ground, sleeping.

"Shall we go then?" Happiness says cheerfully.

You walk up to the curtains and on the other side you see a replica of the room you found these girls in, only much larger and the ground is covered with papers whose scribbles you can't understand. In the middle of the room is a four post bed with the curtains drawn. You can hear some loud muttering coming from inside.

"She's in there." One of the girls says and gently pushes you in the direction of the bed.

You slowly make your way past the heavy curtains and inside you see the shape of Mirror Shield hugging a pillow as she looks at some paper on her bed and muttering. "If I do this she'll just be able to break through easily. Am I overcomplicating things? Will I screw up on the execution again? Will I fail again? If I'm still thinking and alive then it means that we failed even if used our trump card. We got captured and it's all my fault. It's always my fault. My plans always end up being useless in the end. Dad realized that and told me to do a frontal attack, but I ended up messing that tactic as well."

She hugs her pillow tighter, "I'm so useless. I really deserve to get punished."

She can't be sad because Sadness is out there but she's still beating herself over all her failures anyways.

You really can't bear her acting like that anymore and wrap your arms around her waist and rest your head on her back. You don't say anything but you feel her freeze up. You feel her turn her head to look at her hug assailant and she begins shaking when she sees your headful of pink hair.

"No, you can't be here! This is a nightmare!" She begins gripping and clawing at your hands but you don't let go, "GET AWAY FROM ME!" She screams and ups her efforts to get your arms off her. After a few moments she goes limp and begins sobbing...in fear maybe? Sadness is out there. "Just finish me off already! Do you really want to torment me in my mind while you rip it to shreds?"

"I told you I was going to save you from dad and that's what I'm doing. He ordered you to die. I save you and Mirror Spear but he put something in your memory crystals that is tearing you from the inside out." You say between gritted teeth. You don't now how bad your arms are but you're sure they're definitely bleeding.

"Lies!" She hisses.

Then you're both surprised as the curtains are ripped clean off. Out there stand the malnourished looking Happiness, Sadness, Jealousy, Bravery, and several others.

"Dad forced you to lock those feelings away, didn't he? Why do you think it was?" You say.

"Shut up."

"You're my little sister and I won't ever hurt you."

"Shut up!"

"It's no use." One of the girls says, "She can't understand how you feel without us." They all get on the bed with you two, "It's time for us to go back to where we belong."

"Without me you can't feel happy you're alive."

"Without me you can't feel sad about your situation."

"Without me you can't stand against up to which you fear."

"Without me you can't look at the happiness of others and desire that too."

Several others say their part with shyness going last and saying something inaudible. They all put their hands on Mirror Shield's shoulder and start to glow with a faint white light.

She is the last one to disappear, she's holding onto her body to say this. "She will too but it will take her some time to get used to all the emotions she locked away. Please look after us." She bows her head and vanishes in a flash of light.

Well shit, she's going to be an emotional rollercoaster wreck for a while. She's sobbing uncontrollably now, completely overwhelmed by all the new emotions she no doubt locked away when she was made.

You close your eyes while still keeping yourself attached to your little, taller sister and try to figure out where this destructive presence could be. You take a deep breath and focus on sensing magical energies, maybe that will help you get a lock on that thing's position.

Nothing. You feel nothing from your magic sensing. It shouldn't be surprising since you weren't able to transform earlier but regardless it's a bit jarring to be limited to just your eyes and ears.

But that isn't the thing you should be doing right now. You have a sobbing Mirror Shield in your arms. She recovered a bunch of her emotions and she's a mess right now. She isn't even struggling against your grip anymore, she just sobs and cries more. You don't let go, despite you arms hurting from her rampage earlier.

You ignore it and hold her tight. You finally have all your sister in your grip and you'd like to think your dad isn't stupid enough to try that trick any more. Every time it has ended in failure.

"I...understand now. My pain, my suffering. It was there but I couldn't understand it. I couldn't even feel sad about it. I wasn't even able to wish for something better. Why dad? Why did you do that to us?" She sobs out.

"Dad is a terrible person, we're just pawns or even tools to him. You've been with him for way too long, just take it easy and figure your emotions out. You have never felt them before." You say gently and tighten your hug reassuringly. "I'll be here for you."

"You...saved my life. Despite all the terrible things I did and threatened to do. Why?" She turns back, her eyes are full with tears. You can't tell if she is afraid of you right now or if she actually has the ability to be with you despite being deathly afraid.

You're quiet, sure she deserves to get punched in the face, multiple times. You're not sure anymore.
