"Snap out of it!" you and your copies yell at Vegeta as one.

Frieza smirks, looking over his shoulder at you.

Focusing, you and your copies rejoin with one another, and you can sense that you've gained a substantial increase in power. The question is; will it be enough?

Before you find out, you need to get Vegeta out of this funk before he lets himself get slaughtered.

"Is that the best the prince of all Saiyans can do?!" you demand. "Since when do you give up?!"

"W-what's the point of fighting?" Vegeta asks. "We're doomed. We're all doomed."

Frieza chuckles. "Yes, exactly. It's good to see that you've finally left those delusions and rejoined the rest of us in reality."

"Do you want to be remembered for giving up?" you ask Vegeta. "Frieza was always stronger than you! If you give up now, then what was the point of rebelling in the first place?"

Vegeta clenches his fists, closing his eyes and grinding his teeth as he looks down and to his left.

His eyes open, and he throws a punch at Frieza, one that is easily avoided as he leaps back, landing halfway between the two of you.

"It seems you just aren't capable of learning your lessons," Frieza comments, looking back and forth between you. "Very well. I'm always pleased to provide fools with a proper education. You two still wish to stand against me? Fine, then we'll see how long it takes for you to fall to your knees."

"Vegeta, let's attack together!" you shout to your ally.

He nods, and the two of you move against Frieza, who, predictably, dodges your strikes with his amazing speed. However, when Frieza moves in for a counter-attack, you easily block the kick he sends your way with your left arm. Quickly gathering energy, you blast Frieza in the chest, knocking him away.

Vegeta takes advantage of this and throws a series of energy blasts towards Frieza, and a few manage to strike your enemy before he recovers. Vegeta's strikes seem to have no effect on Frieza, but your foe now looks absolutely furious.

Swiftly moving to evade Vegeta's blasts, he comes at you again, attacking with a series of punches and kicks. Moving at a speed that surprises even you, you manage to block each strike until your opponent suddenly flips and strikes the back of your head with his tail.

Vegeta shoots a wave of energy in Frieza's direction, and, as Frieza dodges, you get back to your feet and pursue your enemy. Staring down at you as he flies higher and higher, Frieza fires a series of red finger beams down at you, and you quickly take evasive action as you climb into the air after him.

Frieza smirks, and vanishes from sight.

You stop where you are immediately and sense for Frieza's energy.

You sense him behind you, and quickly spin, bringing your hand up to catch a punch just before it would have struck you in the face.

Frieza's face contorts in rage as his eyes bore into yours. He brings his other fist up to punch you, and you catch it as well. The two of you struggle against one another, each of you trying to overpower the other's strength.

Swinging your legs back, and then forward, you release your grip on Frieza's fists and crash into his face with a two-footed kick, knocking him back and leaving him disoriented as Vegeta rushes into the sky to attack him. Recovering at the last moment, Frieza swats him aside with his tail.

"Your infantile attempts to harm me are growing tiresome, Vegeta," Frieza comments coldly, raising his right hand and pointing his index finger at Vegeta.

You quickly raise your right hand and point your index finger at Frieza.

"DODON RAY!" you shout, firing a thin beam of energy from your finger at your foe.

Hearing you, Frieza turns and evades the attack, which flies through the open air and misses Vegeta by a good few feet as he recovers.

Frieza, his focus returned to you, points his finger at your chest, and a tiny red light appears at its tip. A thin, red beam of energy shoots from his finger, and you quickly fly out of the way, raising your hands in front of your face.

"SOLAR FLARE!" you shout, creating a blinding flash of light.

However, it doesn't work, and the next thing you know, Frieza is behind you, and his tail wraps around you, holding onto you and soon wrapping around your throat.

"You've put up a good fight, my boy, but I'm afraid the time has come for me to finish you," Frieza tells you as his tail begins to squeeze around your throat.

You're trapped and running out of air, and so instinct quickly takes over.

Opening your mouth wide, you bite down on Frieza's tail.

Yelling in shock, Frieza quickly removes his tail from your throat and flies back, staring at you angrily as you turn to face him and quickly kicking you in the jaw.

As you float back, Frieza slams his tail into your gut, causing you to spit out blood as you hunch over. However, you quickly grab hold of his tail and spin, throwing him towards Vegeta, who quickly gathers his energy and holds his hands towards Frieza.

A colossal wave of energy explodes from his palms and strikes Frieza in a flash of brilliant yellow light. Vegeta laughs, pouring more and more energy into the blast, and you soon see a massive explosion that causes you to look away.

Vegeta finally stops powering his attack, and catches his breath, a smile on his face.

"See you in Hell, Frieza," he says.

His expression quickly changes to one of terror, however, as the smoke clears to reveal Frieza entirely unscathed.

"Come now, Vegeta, you didn't honestly expect that to work, did you?" he asks the stunned Saiyan.

Vegeta simply gapes at Frieza.

"Hmm, so you did," Frieza concludes in a disappointed tone. "And here I thought you possessed some level of intelligence. But, it seems you only serve to disappoint me in every category."

Frieza flies over to the Saiyan Prince almost faster than you can see, stopping right in front of him with his back turned. With a laugh, he slams his left elbow down into Vegeta's chest, sending him plummeting to the ground.

As Vegeta crashes, Frieza glances in your direction, then begins to slowly descend after his wounded opponent.

He swats the attacks aside and continues to slowly make his way towards Vegeta, who lies unmoving in a crater, not even bothering to try and escape from what's coming.

Picking up your speed, you position yourself between Frieza and Vegeta, trying to block your enemy's path to your wounded ally.

"I will deal with you in but a moment, child," Frieza assures you calmly. "But first, kindly step aside and allow me to settle business with the monkey prince."

You stand your ground, refusing to just let him kill Vegeta.

Frieza closes his eyes, smiling. "Your arrogance is not amusing, and will avail you nothing. You are strong. Truth be told, I've been fighting at three percent of my power for the last minute or so. Let's see how you handle five."

Cupping your hands at your side, you channel energy into your palms.

"KA....ME....HA...ME...HAAA!!" you shout, thrusting your hands towards Frieza.

He makes no effort to evade the attack as you pour every bit of energy you can muster into it, the ground shaking with the force of the impact as it strikes Frieza. The wind picks up greatly, and its force is almost enough to blow you away, but you stand firm, pouring more and more energy into the attack.

Soon, however, you stop, exhausted, and the smoke clears to reveal Frieza entirely unharmed.

"I see your point," he tells you. "Four percent would have been more than sufficient."

You take a deep breath and wait to defend against Frieza's next attack.

You never even see it coming.

In an instant, he vanishes, and the next thing you know, his knee slams into your gut, and his elbow slams into the right side of your head, knocking you far from Frieza and Vegeta and sending you crashing into the ground.

To say the pain is terrible would be an understatement.

You find yourself retching, and vomit blood an instant later. Your vision is blurry, and your head is spinning. The pain is so intense that you can barely move, and all of this has happened as a result of two strikes.

You manage to fight off the pain enough to lift your head, and see Frieza lift Vegeta by his hair. After punching Vegeta in the gut, he steps to the side and lets the Saiyan Prince fall forward before taking a step behind him and lifting him by the throat with his tail. As you watch, Frieza begins to repeatedly punch Vegeta in the kidneys, causing him to spit blood with each strike.

Through all of this, you are vaguely aware of the others calling your name, and Dende running towards you.

As Dende gets closer, you blast the ground in front of you, kicking up enough dust to obscure Frieza's sight of you and Dende.

Dende quickly heals you, and you leap from the cloud of dust, charging towards Frieza, hoping to save Vegeta, and keep him from noticing Dende. You kick at Frieza, but he simply raises his left arm to block you, turning his head to look at you and shooting beams of energy from his eyes.

You leap back, and Frieza flings Vegeta into a nearby rock formation, watching as Vegeta rolls to the ground at his feet before turning towards you. He takes in your condition, and his eyes narrow.

"I must say, you have surprised me," he comments. "I did not expect you to recover so quickly from my attack. In fact, I was somewhat sure that you would still be writhing on the ground once I had disposed of Vegeta. So, have you been holding back against me, or is there some other reason you're once again attempting to interfere?"

"Kaio-ken!" he yells, becoming surrounded by the familiar red aura.

Frieza pauses. "Kaio-what?"

In an instant, Goku charges Frieza and kicks him through the rock formation. Seizing the opportunity, you grab Vegeta and fly him over to the others.

A blast of energy flies from the rubble at Goku, who leaps into the air to avoid it. A barrage of finger beams shoot into the air, and Goku knocks them aside before cupping his hands together.

"KAMEHAMEHA!!!!!" he shouts, firing a large, blue beam of energy down at Frieza.

There is a massive explosion, and you see Frieza being pushed across the ground by the power of the blast before being knocked into the water.

At your side, Dende sets to healing Vegeta, and, as you watch, Frieza rises from beneath the waves, a look of fury on his face.

"Well, Saiyan, you've managed to make me angry," he tells Goku. "Congratulations. Time to suffer for it."
