Fortunately for my stomach (and Charlotte's mood), there's one of those chain restaurants not too far from the park. And fortunately for my appetite, it's nowhere near the scene of the most recent murder.

Once we walk in, the lady at the front counter makes a comment on how cute Charlotte and Gabrielle are, which raises Charlotte's spirits somewhat. It also makes me wish that I was wearing -my- dress.

She's still pretty down though on account of her paralyzed arm... I really hope it's a "time" thing and not a "requires an antidote" thing.

From there, we take our seats and order our food... both me and Charlotte are getting one of the really huge cheeseburgers that they have here, while Gabrielle asks for some kind of fancy chicken dish and Mina orders fish and chip.
