we have a hard time controlling this thing, I mean My god we could even stop ourself from slaughtering a bunch of cows, how bad would it be if that happened when we got face to face with a meta only for our other half to take over again. After some self-reflection, I have decided that I might just as well make the best of the situation. Brains *are* pretty delicious but we need to be selective in our harvest.

Jan seems to notice your outburst and looks up, but before she can react, you hit her with a webline and yank her up onto the roof.

You pull her up so she is only a few inches from your face, she goes pale and mumbles something inarticulate, terror stealing her voice.

Just a little clarification: When Mercy loses control to her it doesn't feel like she's being controlled by an outside entity. Its more like knowing you shouldnt eat that extra chocolate, but doing it anyway or in the more extreme cases, trying to hold her breath or hold back an orgasm when she's too far along . It's a powerful unconscious need that rises up inside her.

We're not a hero at all. Go through the actions and thoughts throughout these two threads.

We're an office worker who in the middle of the night was fused to a monster. We're now developing monstrous traits and attitudes. We've killed two people and slaughtered some live stock.

We've developed an addiction to eating brains that apparently fires off in our head similar to a crack addict.

We're in a city of our addiction. It's wandering about totally powerless to stop us from indulging. But there may be sweeter highs located in the heads of heroes and villains flying about.. or worse they'll attempt to destroy our stock (villains) or prevent us from consuming (heroes).

Have that as an anti-hero. Fights villains because they damage our cattle. Fights heroes because we need brains to survive and they don't want us to eat them.

Is that even what you'd expect from your average office worker being attached to a symbiote? She was weak, at a dead end job, refereed to as frumpy.

Now she's suddenly powerful having all the standard wonder moments of having super powers. But with the added predatory mind coercing her into feeding an addiction. Is she in any state to consider overcoming it? It's bonded with her. It's desires are now implanted as her own.

Clearly she should have shown super human awareness and resolve, resisted the creature and started attacking muggers and cleaning the streets.

Right now the plot hasn't developed enough to determine if anything else is going on.

How did the suit end up in our apartment? Was it fleeing from a host that lost a fight? Did a meteorite land here?

We could be an amoral monster running from a group trying to capture and control the suit but they lost it in the city.

If we had decided to beat up thugs in an alley I've a feeling you'd be singing praises. When in reality there would be nothing added to the story what so ever. You'd just be able to claim that you're a hero and state that that assuages any qualms you have about it being edgy.
