Summary so Far:
>Heracor Nahive is our protagonist, he is a pretty weak and unmodified AdMech member
>Due to his "nature" he was fitted with a brain chip that made him into little more than a work slave.
>One day for reasons unknown the chip breaks and he feels happy to know his free will has returned and can think by himself again
>Decides to sworn vengeance on the two magos that were responsible of installation of the chip
>Chooses to join the IG and become stronger
>Comissar Oihan makes him do a trial, if he succeeded he would join otherwise he would be executed
>Heracor manages to do a impressive work and Oihan sticks to his promise
>Gets along with three novices who have no combat experience
>Manages to get a pass to enter the Skitarii training grounds for the novice trio
>Builds his own lasgun
>Some drama happens between him and one of the members of the novices
>After they depart to the IG barracks and our techpriest continues training
>The next mtravels towards the escort ship that will take him and the other techpriests
>Meets the others techpriests, including Todd
>Learns a little about the planet they are going to; its a Lava World with low gravity called Plinia Vesus
>Reads work and help messages sent to him and and walks towards a vehicle station inside the ship.
>The place is filled with Massive tank sized drills
>A pilot of one of those Omega drills informs him of the work he has to do.
>>
>B: Decline and try to do your work:

Even if you are desiring to get in the controls of the Drill you end declining his generous offer. You are now travelling on a Imperial Ship, you aren’t surrounded by your peers anymore. Better stick to work and not stand out too much…

The pilot just shakes his head and tells you war tales he had anyway. While you ready your X-ray vision to penetrate the thick layer of armour of the drill.

“One time I was inside a ship like this one…or was it another? Anyway! We got hit by something some fukken Orks threw at us. The ship started going down and shaking like a old man after drinking something nasty HARHARHAR!!”

His raspy voice and curious manners hypnotised me, my eyes were ready for the Drill but I still looked at the pilot and asked him to continue.

“Well the thing was beyond salvation, a shame really. I did the best I could, gather everybody at my reach and stuff them inside this lil beauty here” He says patting another drill some feet away from the one you have to analyse

“Hell there were all kinds of people in there, a commissar, four guardsmen, a sister of battle and even a couple of ratlings that only took the space of one person…There was a Ogryn too but not even the Commissar managed to convince him of getting inside. Once we were all inside i turned the engine on and directly breached the hull”

I looked at him with astonishment. Even with a almost expressionless face like mine he could notice the amazement in my face.

“I swear to the God Emperor that its true! I mean what could we do!? And look at me, still alive aint I?

“I am quite sure that this vehicle is not designed for that, it would have to be destroyed upon impact!”
(1/3)
>>
“Ohhhh but we didn’t hit land, we fell into some Ork monstrosity…Gargant said the Commissar it was called. As the engines were on we started digging deep into the guts of the ork creature, we destroyed it like some nasty stomach worm HARHARHAR!! Besides those green dumb xenos built part of the structure with wood! The meltadrills not only destroyed it but burned it down too!”

After hearing that I would have rolled my eyes if I still had them, I moved closer to the damaged machine spirit of the vehicle and finally proceeded to search for the wound I came looking for, the old man continued with his crazy story.

“HARHARHAR, we could hear their screams and feel the mayhem we created as we went deeper and deeper into the guts of the machine. But wait there is more! We managed to exit the beast and we found ourselves on free fall again, luckily for us a warboss that was down there softened our fall and we dug into the soil as we heard the Gargant explode in a million pieces behind us, we then managed to travel to a safe zone. During the entire time the Sister was praying, the Comissar yelling, the ratlings crying and the guardsmen stood pretty calm, those men and women have balls of steel I tell you what.

I recorded the entire story on my memory banks to hear it again when I had some free time.

The drill was in perfect condition, the machine spirit was the one who was constipated. The main valve that poured prometheium to the engine was rusty and stuck. Using some sacred oils I managed to soothe the intestinal pain it was suffering. I chanted as the oils made their effect and then asked the pilot to try the engine now.

When he jumped into the seat and turned it on the entire drill roared with force and strength. It’s machine spirit was pleased and healthy once again.

>>
“I missed you too beautiful”

The pilot said in a affective manner, you wondered if the spirit could hear those words and what effect did on them.

“Is it there anything else that requires my assistance?”

“Nah, go and have fun with whatever thing you guys do, thank you priest”

With a soft nod I walked again to the soldier filled corridors and halls. I had no new messages:

>B1: Train with few Skitarii present on the ship.

Back in the Adeptus Mechanicus Cathedral you walk towards the area designated for training. It isn't as big nor advanced like the one found back in your planet and seems like the Skitarii have to share some assets and materials with the guard, there is also a small table on the corner where some Lasguns were being repaired or their power cells recharged.

The Skitarii inside were training in melee combat swinging and trying to hit each other with their Omnissiah Power axes. The weapons were glowing and buzzing with their power and everytime someone was impacted it yelled in pain, the training stopped and then the axe was inspected before the wounded warrior.

Most of them had bionics strong enough to punch a hole in concrete but some still had organic yet chemically enhanced muscle mass on them. Even if Heracor was tall compared with his usual peers he still feel kinda dwarfed compared to them.

"Explain Your Reason To Be There Techpriest" said the apparently leader of them after knocking down a fellow Skitarii with a low blow to the ankle. His voice sounded mechanic yet rough and resonated a little bit like a vibrating crystal.

"I am Heracor Nahive, I wish to train in those facilities with my lasgun"

"Those Facilities Are Skitarii Only And Your Lasgun Is Emptied. Come After Our Training Is Done And I Might Write A Permit"

You accept his terms, there is nothing you can do really. The place is already in use and they have priority after all.

With the feeling of defeat you return to your room and cheek your Messages. Seems like the techpriettess Urmo as sent you one.

>Subject: Could need a hand
-+ Hey there Heracor, I want to inspect the warp drives of the ship now that were travelling thru it. The higher powers told me that I need to be with someone armed, dunno why. Wanna come?+-

Oh my the Warp Drives. Such a ancient and mysterious technology and now I have the chance of looking at it firsthand. You got your lasgun but still not the way of charging them. Then a idea comes to you, you rush back again towards the vehicle deck were the Drills where stationed and then beg to the pilot to swap your power cells with his.

"Oh well, you have a socket right here boy, it will take about a hour for each one"

Dammit, that is way too much time, before the three hours Urmo could have just found any guardsman to escort her. You beg him harder and swear that you will pay the favour.

"Relax kid. I'll do it."

You pray and chant to your lasgun so it doesn't feel angry when charged with those external power cells instead of its own ones. This could even have been considered tech-heresy by some. Luckily it seems to accept the foreign ammo.

Once again you run as fast as you can to Urmo's room. When you reach you feel totally exhausted and about to puke. You might like feeling a weapon on your hands but you are now sure that the soldier lifestyle isn't made for you.

You knock the door still grasping for breath. She opens and you look at her. She's still covered from toes to head with robes and other clothing leaving no part of her body naked. Heracor wondered if she would still continue that way after reaching the hot volcanic planet.

"Oh you came!" She softly pushed you away not letting anybody to see inside the room

"Why do you want to see the Warp Drive Urmo?" I asked trying to learn more about her as we started walking towards the engine rooms.

"As I said yesterday I am a energy oriented techpriest. I am sure that watching such powerful generatoriums will Inspire me to do a good work and praise the Omnissiah. Is your weaponry ready?"

I nodded feeling quite proud of my lasgun. There were thousands of lasgun but this was my lasgun, it was unique for me.

"This humble lasgun makes me feel powerful, it's machine spirit fuses with mine as soon as I aim with it...I wonder what kind of sensations bigger, complexer and more powerful weaponry could trigger on me"

(2/3)
>>
We descended and passed through dozens of controls and password blocked doors but everytime we found one of those stops Urmo seemed to have the necessary permit or password to cross. She was a curious person, even covered completely in robes and clothing she seemed to moved with quite grace. Maybe she was still untouched by bionics or all the ones she had were internal because you doubted anybody with a artificial body could move that way at all.

Once inside we found a massive tower that pulsated with visible energy and was the responsible of the impossible. Without it our FTL wouldn't work and the Imperium would crumble. Such engineering marvel was created by human minds and even if those minds where now forgotten their spirits and souls were heroes to both the Imperium and the AdMech as they were vital and would continue being so for millenia to come.

"Thank you Unknown creators and Machine Spirit for gifting us with such present"

I said with a reverence directed towards the drive.

"Is it as inspiring for you as it it for me?" I ask her

"Yes it is. Come with me"

She walked around the catwalks and staircases to observe, I did it as well soaking myself with every detail of such wonder.

Then a light flickering and a loud roar broke me from my trance.

"What was that?"

I ask to no effort, she's mute now.

>C: Investigate on your own, use your lenses to record all sound and video data for further analysis

You adjust your eyes for the low light environment the sounds came from and then start recording, a small red dot flashing on your HUD.

"I will try to record what's going on there. We must inform of this."

I looked back hoping to see Urma there but she was gone. I was totally alone right now. With fear on my shaking hands I barely managed to place the power cell on my lasgun and aim it.

There where nothing but the buzzing sound of the machinery and the electrical discharges that happened from time to time.

Even if a enemy appeared how should I have reacted? Shooting the lasgun was way too dangerous as I could have damaged the Warp Drive and managed to lost the ship in the Inmaterium killing us all.

My steps were slow and silent, making noise would mean discovering your position to the possible enemies out there. Placing my back against a wall I tried to relax, it wasn't of no use to be silent if your heart beat like a massive cannon with each pumping being as loud as a explosion.
>>
Chanting the songs that calmed the machine spirits always relaxed me and I couldn't avoid finding myself muttering them with stuttering and fear in every word. It was then when I head it...a loud thud, the sound of a heavy mechanical frame walking towards me like a insect attracted to a light. Before I could react a heavy servitor made his appearance and tried to attack me. The servitor was strong like a bull with its pale muscles being overinflated with chemicals and on top of that it had military grade lifting bionics powered by fusion power and hydraulics that could crush me easily.

I shot him as best as with quite accuracy due to its slowness. The red lasers hit his body leaving red holes that punched hard but didn't did any real damage as there didn't flown any blood since a really long time. The impacts on its metallic frame were vain as the surface didn't even got hot red after repeated shots.

You hoped he would at least leave your brain intact for anybody who found your body and who could extract the data from you...No! All hope wasn't lost yet. The pilot managed to survive a really odd situation and save lots of lives, there is always another way.

With steady feet you tried to run as you did before, the servitor might be strong and big but he was slow and dumb. Your mind is superior, it managed to beat the brain chip and it will manage to beat this foe.

Moments after you looked away and started to run you heard some crystal like objects exploding and a groan. You weren't quite sure of whose groan was that and trying to repeat the recorded sound on your HUD didn't gave any clear hint.

>A: Try to search for Urma
>B: Go back, that sound might be the servitor going down.

>A: Try to search for Urmo Name is Urmo, I wrote it wrong, my bad

Yelling would have alerted other possible enemies of your presence, it would be better if you tried to contact her by other means. You try to hide behind some barrels and charge the message sending program, it takes almost all the space of your HUD avoiding you to focus on what's happening around you.

The fear on your body made your vox caster to stutter some words making the writing a tedious and stressing experience. The message takes long as you never bothered to install the driver that lets you write it with thoughts instead of vocal orders, you could have never imagined that such a small driver would have one day increased your survival chances.

When you are done you send it and hope for the best, the connectivity in that particular side of the Cruiser is really weak, the own electricity of the Drive erupts the wireless signals. It takes a good ten minutes to send the message. Who knows If she would be still alive by then.
>>
You moved out of the barrels and saw a small and weak looking servitor crawling from the outside of a vent. It lacks the lower part of her body and now it is little more than a naked torso and claws to crawl. It seemed like that woman was converted and designed to unclog any obstruction on the ventilation shafts.

Like the other servitor this only also tried to attack you, with a scream she jumped with all her strength and tried to claw your face. Now that she was closer you could notice that her eyes were bleeding profusely. Using your dentrites you launch one of the barrels to her, she manages to destroy it with her impressive claws but that instant gave you enough time to aim your lasgun and shoot directly at her face. Sadly you weren't recording anymore and nobody would ever believe the kind of heroic moment that you had.

You consider grabbing the dead body and carrying to some commissar or higher up but for now Urmo is the top priority. After some seconds looking everywhere you hear a scream.

"Die vile abomination!"

Running rifle in hand you get closer and closer towards the sound source. In the floor about ten crazed servitors stand dead, its bodies cut into pieces with some kind of blade.

Urmo is close, trying to hide herself with the robes.

"But...how?" You ask

"Let's just go and inform about this" She answers with a cold voice.

>A: Attack and ask her how was she able to do this carnage.

So, we can use her to get our revenge. Blackmail, or maybe she'll just agree since we helped her. Thoughts on this?
>>
>>36914732
Well.... eldar, proud, haughty, inclined to just sabotage an imperial war vessel and leave it at that.

I guess we could tell her we wish to see more than just those two magoses fall and bribe her cooperation with the promise of admech tech from our presumed raid or explosions or something.

But all the same, I'm not entirely convinced that would work and we'd end up massive heretics. It'd also be hard to actually progress as a techpreist and gain implants and imperial knowhow if we become a renegade eldar sympathiser, even if it's only a farce.
>>
>>36914767
She's already on the ship. It wouldn't be that hard for her to continue to remain stealth and help in the background?
>>
>>36914831
I think at this stage we should keep a closer eye on her but leave her largely to her own devices. If we can win her trust enough to see underneath her robes, then we can probably use her. If not and we record footage of her doing shifty things we can sell her out for favour from our higher ups.
>>
>>36914523
It's fine mate, I'm not a native speaker either, so I know the feel.

Anyway, have some advice.
-Commit to either 'I' or 'You' for narrated parts.
-Avoid repetitions of the same word at all costs ('I nodded feeling quite proud of my lasgun. There were thousands of lasgun but this was my lasgun').
-Punctuate your sentences (Such engineering marvel was created by human minds, and even if those minds where now forgotten, their spirits and souls were heroes to both the Imperium and the AdMech, as they were vital and would continue being so for millenia to come).
-Mind your auxiliaries (Such engineering marvels WERE created by human minds).

A few examples & corrections

I could have damaged the Warp Drive, losing the ship in the Immaterium.

>I shot him as best as with quite accuracy due to its slowness.
His sluggish movements allowed me to shoot him with accuracy

>the servitor might be strong and big but he was slow and dumb
Though the Servitor's body is far bulkier and sturdier than yours, its movements are slow and predictable.

>Running rifle in hand you get closer and closer towards the sound source.
Running rifle in hand, you promptly made your way to the source of the noise.

>B: Trust her and do as she suggest

No matter how hard the cogitator and your brain works you cannot think of a explanation for how she managed to do such a slaughter when you only barely managed to kill a weak enemy.

She's anyway your companion and has saved your life while giving you a chance of watching the Warp Drive. You will do as she says.

The walk back goes silent and seems longer. You considered using your X-rays to see under her robes but even techpriests have the concept of privacy and she might had sensors who detected it anyway.

We took a detour and ascended towards the bridge. After all informing the captain of the ship of the incident seemed like a better idea than informing the Guard or the Mechanicus. When we ascended the thousands of people working on there and looking at their screens made me feel like hope, the navigator chamber creped me though.

Once again we were stopped by some security as it was obvious but the presence and fine words of my companions somehow managed to convince them. The captain seemed surprise of receiving us, I was sure that not many people managed to walk across those two men before in his lifetime.

"What a...pleasant surprise" He said with a tired and sarcastic voice "Is my cruiser not good enough for you priests?"

She stood quiet and calm yet imposing, I just connected myself and played my recordings on the screen of his personal cogitator and walked behind him to watch it along. Now that I could see it again in a more relaxed state and control the speed and brightness I could notice that the first servitor that attacked me was also bleeding from his eyes. I looked at Urmo and I would have swear she looked at me too, couldn't be sure as she was so covered.

"How did you two get access to the Warp Drive!?" Said him in a way more active tone now that we had his attention.

"That matters not. There were defective servitors running amok, they could have destroyed the Drive"

(1/2)
>>
>>36915007
The captain looked at them with rage.

"And you want me now to give you two a medal or something? Guess who creates servitors? The Mechanicus! Guess who knows how to mess with their brains? The mechanicus! I believe that you two made those and faked the fight to gain the Imperial Navy's favour and do some shady dealing that would benefit your redhoods while crippling our sacred faction. My men will investigate this and I will go as far as contacting the Inquisition to deal with this if necessary!"

He then pressed a button and the two bodyguards pushed the couple out.

"Aren't we going to do anything?" You asked her.

"We deal with the problem and told the big guys what was happening, we did all we could" Her voice seemed warm and relaxed again. Just try to not stand out during the next 3 weeks."

With a sigh they departed ways and you returned alone towards his room to relax and think about what happened. After a hour lying on the bed while chanting machine spirit songs and observing his screw collection Heracor decided to stand up and continue working.

>B2: Train with the Guardsmen trio

You check your clock and look at the schedule that your friends gave you, they should have ended all their work for now.

The closer you get to the Guardsmen barracks the more odd and out of place you feel. You are a red dot in a sea of brow armoured persons. Most of them are rude and tell you to fuck off but a few nice ones ask you if you are lost.

It takes you a good fifteen minutes to find the barracks where Khaalid, Arwa and Munir are located. After knocking the door and entering you find them along with many other novices relaxing and folding their clothes among other things.

"May I enter?" You shyly ask without knowing who refer to.

"Hello again friend" Says the dark skinned Munir with a tired look in his eyes as he walked towards you.

"You seem tired, is it something wrong?"

"Oh, well yesterday was the Warp Jump and I am dead scared of it, my father disappeared after one. Was it your first time too?"

"Indeed it was but alas I could not experience it, I was exhausted and fell asleep before it."

Khaalid walked along with Arwa, the rest of the soldiers seemed to be bored of your presence and returned to their activities.

"Sparks! How have you been doing around here?" the first one asked.

"I...not bad. I have plenty of job in there and the transition from my forge to this cruiser has been pleasant so far." You lied worried of dragging them towards problems if you told them the truth.

"So, if you are so busy what are you doing here? Besides Khaalid's brain nothing else is broken here" Joked Arwa with a jab on the aforementioned guy's stomach. Arwa seemed to be very relaxed to be considered equals with the other Guardsmen and not a street rat anymore.

Opening your back you showed them your lasgun. "I was wondering if we could train again, it was a pleasant and very educative experience. Besides none of my other peers has any combat experience"

"What about those big fellas with even bigger axes?"
(1/2)
>>
>>36915406

"I am a techpriest with combat experience, not a Skitarii, unless I had a permit I couldn't train with them."

"Oh, well I guess Oihan wouldn't mind it if you give another look at her fist, it is broken again. You can go and ask her for the training permit and also fix her fist, the happier she is the less she yells at us"

"Well done man, you are given stuff to work with but you don't fix them completely so they break again in no time and the cycle repeats right?" Joked Munir.

"Get yourself a good close combat weapon too dude" Said Arwa.

You would have smiled if you could, instead showed them affection with a soft bump to the shoulder of each one. Soon the four walked towards Oihan personal office and knocked on the door.

"Come In" Her deep voice answered. You entered first.

"N-no. I would like ask permission to train along your men and also to grab one close combat weapon of your armoury"

The other time you managed to create the lasgun because the blueprints were installed and you had access to them but that was the only weapon you could create so far. If you want to advance you better fight and endure your challenges. To the surprise of everybody in the room you accept.

Immediately she grabs a vox microphone and yells.
"Fight between Commissar and Techpriest in the empty cargo cell in five minutes everybody is invited!"

She then smiles and the entire group walks towards the place with Oihan leading the pace, as you advance more and more people join and follow as well, there are all kinds of folk here, from the lowly food server to even some high ranking imperial generals.

"I heard that those long distance travels can get boring and you know. Everybody likes a good fight from time to time" Said Khaalid.

"Yeaaahhh! Besides everybody always waits for the first fight, after the first everybody gets fight hungry and more and more come soon" Said a excited Guardswoman who was close.

"It's a goddamm freaky fight too, it's usually Guard vs Guard but this one is weird as fuck" Said another with a strong pat on your back.

Once you two are in the empty place a ring of people form around you two, the woman stands imposing and with a mental order detaches both arms at once, those fall with a sonorous thud and cracked the floor where they stood. Then kicked them away with the promise of launching from the airlock to anybody who dared to touch them. She then started to do some squats to warm herself. Oddly enough she continued dotting her big black coat even when armless.

Meanwhile I grabbed my lasgun and moved the power dial to the lowest, turned it into a stungun who used its ammo in the more efficient way possible, getting without energy would be impossible. I changed and placed a new power cell for mere precaution.

"Show her who's boss Sparks!" Said Khaalid seconds before and a bell rang initiating the fight.

>A-B-C: Use our stun gun until she's close and then start flashing and punching.

She starts to run towards you with her coat flowing behind her. You shoot without fear of killing any spectator but neither caring about who might hit the stray shoots.

You shoot five times and two of those impact, one on her left ankle that makes her stumble on her run and the other in the stomach that gives her terrible abdominal pain and makes her grunt. The other three shoots hit two guardsmen and one Ogryn, only him continues conscious after the shoot.

Just when Oihan is about four seven feet away from your position you start to charge the flashing of your lenses, according to your calculations it would be ready to be shot when she is about ten inches apart.

The dendrites of your back curve and tense as the pincers clap in anticipation, you remove any pressure limits they had before leaving you able to grab with their full force.

More zapping shoots are launched from your gun as she approaches. Every time you knock out someone the entire crowd cheers and grabs the poor fella to push it back, leaving better view to the ones who where originally in the back.

This time three more shoots hit her. She uses her coat to cover herself from two of them and the last one impacts in the empty metallic socket where her right arm once was. The shoot seems to overcharge with electricity her circuits for a second and they send a electric current all across her metallic surface burning the adjacent meaty parts in a really painful way but not even that is able to stop her momentum.

Your four lenses flash and send in Morse the code "Gotcha". Only a communications officer and a Skitarii laugh at the joke while the others find themselves confused or blinded too.

Using the closed pincers as makeshift fists you starts punching the air trying to hit here but still unsure of where. You make to hit her once in her metallic shoulder and twice on the chest but she's unstoppable.
>>
Even blinded her iron will made her continue running and slowly push herself backwards readying a skullcrushing headbutt. She managed to demolish you down with such force that you were afraid that she might have broken your face augmentations.

Some seconds after the impact you ran a damage analysis, you could barely see from one eye, the other three were broken, your ears and vox casters were damaged but still worked.

Barely ten minutes after the battle started the two combatants were confused, and blinded. There had been at least five spectators who ended unconscious and many others wobbly from Herecor's flash trick.

At least two minutes pass with you two trying to hit each other to no effort so the people just booed before leaving.

Oihan's natural eyes recovered soon after.

"Well...I could take advantage of you now that you are blind" She said stepping on the crystal fragments that were once part of his lenses and smashing them even more. "But I will call this a tie. You left me pretty wounded, not bad techpriest"

She walks towards her and helps him walking.

"So, you demonstrated me that you can do what you want not only once but twice. Mind being part of my personal escort? I promise you access to the Imperial Guard's armoury and bionics. You will have to stop working along the other techpriests though"

>A: Accept to work for Oihan as his escort. Better weapons, better bionics, more chance to spend time with your guardsmen friends...

>A: Accept to work for Oihan as his escort.

She might have broken your face, quite literally, but she's a good woman. Everytime you want something she makes you fight for it and honestly you think that both trials have given you important advancements towards your mission of becoming stronger.

"I accept" You say with a soft voice.

++ TWO WEEKS LATER ++

During all this time you have been always on bed or in surgery. Thanks to Oihan you have been feed with a special nutrient diet that has made your body became slightly bigger and more muscular. Your bionics have been replaced and even improved.

Your Vox Caster can now both send and receive radio transmitted messages. If working along your improved cogitator it can crypt or decrypt messages, both friendly and enemy. Basically she has turned you into a useful person to receive or send intelligence.

New bionic eyes that can now can autofocus onto enemies to some degree but this function might crash and stop working if a swarm of enemies appear at once. This autofocus has helped you improve shooting at moving targets. The lenses are now bulletproof.

Oihan asked for your approval for the leg amputation surgery. She might be proud of her own ones but mines are only a way to move from point A to point B. You told her that it was ok to go for it. Besides in airship combat situation legless persons have less chances of loosing conciousness when suffering the effect of higher G forces. Your new legs are weaker than Oihan's arm but still higher than you could have imagined.

You wear now a new face mask, more military looking and sturdy, it has been upgraded with a neural link and you can now write messages by thoughts.

Four new dendrites were added on a painfully long operation that took two entire days. These new arms are stronger and even able to sustain small projectiles and shrapnel without any damage. Four of them have generic pincers that can be used both to punch and to manipulate objects, other has a drill on its extremity and a small sample collector inside. The other is even sturdier and stronger, acting like a crane for the transport of materials or weapons.

Your entire right arm has been substituted by a bionic one. This one cannot use a power glove as is it still way too small for it but it has a gas ejected blade on it, ready to be deployed in a second and launched with force enough to impale any unsuspecting foe.

A somewhat cross shaped shiny crystal solar generator was installed on your back, it can gather the sunlight and even artificial light to some degree to power your weapon and anything you would need.

"All my men must have to do at least ten hours of training and four of work every day. Since you accepted you became one but you haven't trained nor worked any single day for two entire weeks. You owe me 140 hours of training and 56 of work. Almost six days of training and three of work..." Said Oihan visiting by surprise. You looked at her still somewhat dizzy from the last surgery.

"How could I...not possible"

"Shhh, don't worry, you will pay me all those hours sooner or later don't worry"

You tried to go back to sleep. Those two weeks have been almost a dream for you since all you did was sleep and wake up confused a only few hours before the next operation. During this time many people have visited you but most of the times it the guardsmen trio that consider you one of them now.

Since we IG now and we got some respect for the work and the fight we have a total of 25 points in the relationships with the Guard. This means they will somewhat trust and accept our now. Its a pretty good work since we started with -15 points

>C: Work for those clueless guardsmen even if you don't have to.

One of the messages catches your attention, seems to be from the same pilot who contacted you on the first day and now just wants to spend some time with "The champ" as he calls you.

You will leave it for later, work has always more priority. With your new eyes and implants you are able to separate the emails by area and then select a logic route of work that starts in your current position and ends in the pilot's vehicle garage.

The problems these men face are honestly pretty simple. The real work should start when a ship like this needs to be built from scratch or repaired after a really intense battle. You even don't try to repair some of them and instead tell the guardsman how to repair and maintain the spirit happy. This of course only applied to really simple spirit machines like light switches, if those men don't know how to repair those by themselves they aren't ready for more comell plex secrets.

Two hour later all the work from those men is done and your new legs are heading you towards the garage with loud and rhythm stomping sound. The pilot now seemed smaller and frailer.

"Holy smokes champ! You sure got bigger, why not sharing your secrets with a oldman like me eh? HARHARHAR!" You gotta admit that you missed his light-heartedness and sonorous laugh.

"How have you and your beauty been during those weeks?" You say looking and pointing with your head towards the drills.

"Good good! I cannot wait to see how those will react in the ash deserts of the planet. I just hope I don't fall to some lava pit and end boiling inside like one of the cats my Momma used to cook back in Miceria HARHARHAR!!"

"What will your work be exactly?"

"My work will be travelling from the different outposts carrying people or goods. When I joined the IG I didn't knew I would end as a goddamm taxi driver no no! This thing can travel in both soft and hard surfaces to going thru ash or volcanic rock will be easy peachy for those big boys. "

"So, champ! You got some time to spare?"

"Yes I do, I wouldn't be there otherwise."

"HARHAR! Guess you are right. Wanna learn how to drive this thing?" He suggested patting the flat metallic surface and making loud clanking sounds.

After questioning you that a message from O'Jackis Estxxx appeared on your brain ready to be opened.

"I would gladly accept your request. Honestly this was something I wanted to learn since the first day. How should I address to you?"

"Oh champ you are right! We haven't introduced each other. Name's Sandaar Mitri. I know who you are already so we can skip you name if you wanna!

I nodded and then he opened the cockpit door for me. It was located in the rear part and both the driver and the crew entered from there. Thinking about it this was pretty obvious as the front part is occupied by all the drills and laterals must be solid and compact to endure the pressure and all the heat. The interior seats including the pilot's had belts to help the crew endure the inclination.

"Gimme a sec to move the chair, a big fella like you couldn't enter there" With a manual crack he started moving it backwards until I could fit inside.

In front of me there where some screens arranged. "All the information appears here, from speed to the kind of material you are travelling trough. "

"What happens if the screens fail?"

"This thing has some electronic parts but its mostly analogic. A EMP explosion would leave you blind but not paralysed. We have a small trick for those situations. We just pick a small objectc and let it roll backwards, the faster it descends the more inclined we are, direction it goes depends also in if you are facing downwards or upwards...Some people also just spit and observe the trajectory of the gob if they don't have any object around."

He lends you a rusty and long key and somewhat shaking place it in its place, then turn it feeling the vibrations of the machine overwhelming you entirely. Its engine roars with anticipation after being awakened.
>>
"Ok so there are two pedals, one is for advancing, the other controls the speed of the drill, some more delicate materials need to be drilled slowly you know? Try pushing the drill one!"

As my heavy foot pushed the pedal the drill started slowly moving clockwise, in less than a minute it was cycling at full speed.

The screens in front of me started showing several kinds of data all at once, being a pilot of such a vehicle needed to be always focused and to process data at a really short time. He explained me what every screen showed but my experience working for the AdMech made them look pretty obvious and self explanatory for me.

"And this is the magic maker!" He pushes a big red button and then all the screens got off for a second for the sudden power drain. The pilot cockpit started getting warmer, he activated the melta on the drills.

You suddenly fell really powerful, honestly right now you could have just drove this in a suicide attack against the hull or even the warp drive and pretty much nobody could have stopped you. Those sudden thoughts made you feel weird for a second, you just shrugged and didn't gave any importance to it.

A hour passed with him explaining the different things like the speeds and several tales from his youth. When the alarm pointing that the day was over sounded you two turned the machine off and went to each respective barrack to sleep and rst for the next day.

Before heading to bed you seemed to see and hear a shadowy figure advancing in the vents. If you follow it you might get in trouble but it is obvious something weird is happening here but on the other side you are tired and It was probably your imagination, tomorrow is gonna be another training day after all.

I loved it! do you have a twitter or something? I'd really hate to miss a thread.

I do not, I feel kinda itchy about social media.

should I create one dedicated only for the quest?

Pretty much, just make a throwaway twitter for the quest. I too share your feelings towards social media, but twitter really is handy for notifying people about quests

Going to create and upload it now. Would you guys like if I also added small details about the story?

For example Heracor's surname is supposed to sound and look like the word naive because of his intended fall towards becoming a Heretek
