LAST TIME ON GEASS QUEST: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/36742202/

Thread times and updates posted here: https://twitter.com/Crosswire

Rules and Mechanics: http://pastebin.com/J8ehewqf

You name is Shirley Fenette, schoolgirl soldier extraordinaire and survivor of a chest wound that probably should have killed you. You are currently on medical leave and while shopping at a 24/7 corner store you discovered something.

Kallen is a terrorist.

You didn't know her all that well from school, but she was a member of the student council and someone you believed to be a friend. She was quiet, withdrawn, but always seemed like a nice person.

The bitter fire of betrayal stings at your insides and you glower across the meat aisle at the oblivious Kallen through your dark shades, wondering what good is it to have preconceived notions about people when they just turn out to be wrong?

To make matters worse Kallen isn't just a terrorist, she’s a member of the Black Knights and from the sounds of it Zero’s personal bodyguard. You have no idea how a Britannia could have joined the Black Knights or why Kallen would want too, but deep down you don’t care why.

She’s your enemy now, an obstacle in your way that needs to be dealt with so you can accomplish your goal.

Kallen just mentioned that the Black Knights attack, Zero’s return, is going to happen tomorrow. Your chest is still injured and not remotely close to recovery, and you didn’t record any of the conversation between Kallen and the guy she’s referred to as ‘Ohgi’ due to the split second nature of the entire conversation.

Your hands are trembling with anger and you wish nothing more then that you’d brought a gun with you, but you didn’t.

Ohgi and Kallen seem unusually sure in the Black Knights victory tomorrow, so much so that Kallen’s only worry is what will happen to the Britannians left in Japan when they win. They’re either arrogant or Zero has something terrifying planned for tomorrow.

You could easily walk away now, write down what you’ve heard, and hand the info in as an anonymous tip you were given by a stranger. It would let the military know the day the attack was going to happen, but there’s a chance they could ignore it or write it off as some kind of trick.

If you tail Ohgi and Kallen back to their base you might be able to infiltrate it and steal some information pertaining to the attack or just call in the location of the base and let the military come in and seize the place.

Something needs to be done, or another chance to kill Zero will slip right through your fingers…

What do you wish to do?

Well, if they spot us before the base then we'll probably have a repeat of that thing with Suzaku, but unfortunately we won't be able to play the 'i don't remember' card now. since she probably knows we're going back to school.
If we by some miracle do make it to the base, then I dunno. Another mind fuck doesn't seem that far fetched.

Though it would be nice if we suddenly get a Geass or a Code and go on a murder spree there.

Reporting Kallen and her friend to a nearby patrol would be easy, but that would take you out of the picture and prevent you from getting anything. This is personal and you’re going to keep it personal for as long as you feel like it.

Besides as long as you have your phone you should be able to call up Suzaku or Lloyd at any time and call in the cavalry or talk them into leaving it to the Special Corp to get the glory of an early interception.

Taking a deep breath you continue to follow Kallen and Ohgi through the stroe. They don’t really say much else on their plans, but they continue to quietly chat with one another and genuinely browse around and shop for food. From what you can see they get liquor (or Ohgi does anyway), a lot of fresh meat and vegetables, and some spices.

You continue to get stuff as well and head to the checkout before they do, paying for the food you’d picked out and walking out the door just as they begin to leave. Stepping off to the side you hide around the nearby corner of the building and watch as the two walk through the parking lot.

It becomes apparent that they didn’t come in a car and you begin to follow them as discretely as you can…

>(Roll 1d100 to determine. Only the first three will be accepted. 1 is a colossal failure, 100 is a an immense success. Since this task isn’t necessarily laborious, Shirley won’t receive penalties for her injuries.)

Following the two wasn’t easy, Kallen and Ohgi walked casually enough that you could keep up with them without having to run or strain your injuries, however the route they took was so confusing and roundabout you were worried they knew you were following them.

Your worries faded however as they entered into the Ghetto area and slipped down an alley without so much as a glance backwards. Peeking around the corner you saw them disappear into a dilapidated subway entrance and slip into the underground. Following them down into the darkness made you nervous, but once you were beneath the streets and enshrouded in the blackness you felt a little safer.

It was darker than sin in the long abandoned subway tunnels, but Kallen and Ohgi were using flashlights, allowing you to stay in the darkness behind them and follow them by the trails of light they cast in front of them.

After what seemed like a whole hour of walking they came to a rather new looking door that slid open when they approached it. Being close behind them you slinked through the door before it slid shut with a sharp metallic ‘click’.

Walking over to a stack of crates you hid yourself as two guards approached Ohgi and Kallen with guns raised.

“You guys know the drill, IDs and passwords.”

The two pulled out cards from their pockets and showed them to the guards.

“My password is L0V3” Ohgi stated.

“My password is Red3.” Kallen muttered.

“Alright that checks out, hope you two got something good for the dinner.” One of the guards said eagerly, an audible growl emanating from his stomach as he ushered the two forward through a couple set of automatic doors. Once they were closed the two guards took their positions beside the doors.

You glance around for another way out of the room, but find that there appears to only be two ways out of the room itself and from the sound you heard earlier the one you came is is most likely locked. The room you're in is narrow and has a very high ceiling. It's filled with various crates and cases, stacked high and scattered about to the point it's very easy to hide from the guard's line of vision.

You need to get through those doors and into the base, but you’ll need to get past the guards to do so.

What do you wish to do Shirley?

You decide to search the nearby crates as quietly as you can in the hopes of finding something you can use.

A few minutes worth of root turns up parts, electrical components, and some large tools you couldn't take with you unless you wanted to look like a complete and utter fool touting them around. One crate you manage to pop open is filled with black cloth and after rooting around inside you discover it’s filled with uniforms.

Given the color and the similar appearance to standing guards own uniforms, you quickly deduce these are the uniforms the Black Knights usually wear. In your current clothes you stand out like a sore thumb, but even without proper ID you’d at least look the part of a Black Knight at first glance wearing this.

Taking a uniform under your arm you think hard on how to distract the guards and an audible stomach growl sparks an idea in your head.

Picking up the bag of groceries you'd bought from the store not an hour earlier, you throw it into the open while the guards are looking away.

"Huh? What was that?" One of the more alert looking guards says with a jump, raising his SMG.

"Oh neat, looks like those two dropped some grub." The hungry guard says with a grin and begins walking over to the bad.

"But how? They didn't drop any bags this doesn't seem-"

"Oh sweet they got some chocolate bars."

"So? This seems really-"

"Oh and they got some leeks too."

"What? Dibs dibs dibs dibs dibs!" The alert guard's professionalism dries up in an instant and he rushes over to the guard holding the grocery bag. As the two begin to bicker and fight over the contents you slip past and go through the doors.

You find yourself in a small vaguely rectangular room with three doors. A quick glance around confirms there are no cameras and no one is nearby. You've finally entered the base and have a chance to explore, but doing so in your current clothes will probably get you caught.

You decide to put on the Black Knights uniform and proceed to rip open the sealed bag it came in. Taking off your clothes in the middle of the open room makes you feel incredibly exposed and uncomfortable, with the idea of someone being able to walk in at any moment terrifying you.

Focusing, you try to get dressed as quickly as possible and remove your phone and wallet before putting on the uniform. The uniform seems to be a size too small for you and is especially tight around the chest, but beyond that the material feels comfortable enough.

The uniform is made up of a pair boots that stop just below your knees, a tiny black hat, a long sleeve black shirt, and...wait where are the pants?

You reach down to slip on the pants of the uniform but all you find in the clear bag is a single elastic strip of black cloth that when put around your waist vaguely looks like a skirt. So much as bending forward or backward would give anyone in front or behind you a solid look at your panties underneath.

“W-who would design such a perverted uniform!?!” You think to yourself as your face reddens and you find yourself with yet another reason to hate Zero. Tucking your phone and wallet into your bra (as there are no pockets on the uniform) you ball up your clothes and throw them into a corner before slipping on your shades and look around you.

There are three doors around you. The door to your left is marked “Barracks”, the door to your right is marked “Hanger”, and the door in front of you is marked “Command Center.”

Unsure if going straight into the enemy command center is a good idea, you head for the barracks instead in the hopes of finding something of value with the bare minimum risk of getting shot in your practically exposed panty clad ass.

You enter through the doors and walk down a well lit concrete corridor until you come to a large room filled with bunkbeds and people messing about, some in uniform and some half-out. Seeing them makes your heart begin to race, but they don’t pay you any mind even as you begin to walk around.

Everyone around you is smiling a laughing, it’s near impossible to find someone who doesn’t look excited. The Black Knights are a mix of boys and girls, most of them fairly young teenagers or adults. You spy a couple of younger members wandering around, but they seem to be exceptions to the majority.

Looking around the barracks you see a lot personal gear and bags around, if you searched around or waited for the right moment you might be able to snag someone’s ID card. If you got caught though you’d be in deep shit.

A smell catches your nose and your stomach growls slightly as you remember that you never ate this morning. Peeking around a corner you look into a room not too far from the main barracks area and see a kitchen where a few people are preparing some food. One particularly man is walking around the kitchen with an ID card hanging loosely from his jacket…

You could search the barracks for ID cards and supplies, or you could enter the kitchen and swipe one from someone who looks rather oblivious…

What do you wish to do?

The barracks are full of people and it’s seems like it’d be impossible to so much as fart without someone noticing, but you quickly discover that the opposite is true. With so many people around, all of them distracted with ether sleep, food, or conversations with comrades, no one really pays attention to what anyone else is doing.

Thanks to this you’re able to slink around, dipping your hands into the duffle bags and personal crates around the room and grabbing anything of value without so much as a glance or a peep from anyone.

In your search you find:

>109 Pounds
>An odd flash drive like key, similar to the ones used to start Knightmares.
>An ID card marked LV 1

You don’t find any password with the card, but you assume the password is just for security checkpoints. Considering the ID card is magnetic you should be able to use it to open doors and get into unguarded but locked areas without too much trouble.

Glancing around you try to locate where Kallen could be, but can’t see her anywhere much to your disappointment.

You could move on and start to investigate the other areas of the base, or you could listen in on the conversations happening in the barracks.

Or you could do something else entirely.

You enter through the doors and immediately find you in a room much larger than the barracks you were in moments before. Computer monitors, radio equipment, and dozens of personal rush back and forth from different work stations as they talk on headsets and relay what you can only guess is important communications.

Up on the wall is a single huge computer screen with a surprisingly detailed digital map of Area 11 displayed on it. The map shows all of the former Japanese nation and displays numerous icons dotted across the landscape. At first you’re not sure what the icons mean but as soon as you see some of them move you begin to figure out they’re Britannian troop movements, base locations, and surrounding naval fleet distances.

At first you’re not sure what the red dots on the map are, but when you see several located within the vicinity of the Tokyo settlement it hits you.

The red dots are bases.

In a matter of 2 months the Black Knights managed to establish dozens of bases all across Japan. Sure base you’re in doesn’t appear to be all that big, but that’s because it’s built in within city limits. The ones out in the country probably house thousands of troops and dozens of Knightmares.

Britannia might have the numerical advantage, but the Black Knights appear to know the location of every Britannian base and know all their movements. Meaning when they attack they’ll know exactly what to hit and when.

Your heart begins to race and you feel yourself becoming angry. Zero might just have his way if you don’t do something and do something fast. If you could get a picture of the map you’d be able to give your superiors an idea of where the Black Knights bases were located, even if they were vague approximations.

However there are a lot of armed guards around, all of which seem to be pretty vigilant. Taking your phone out to take pictures would be incredibly risky here. You look around for any loose documents lying about but fail to find any. There are a few doors off to the sides that seem to be closed, black keycard readers affixed to the sides.

If you could gain access to a file room or archive you might be able to come across valuable documents.

Upon the screen is vital information that could utterly ruin whatever plan Zero in the works for tomorrow. If you could get a good shot of it with your phone and send it to Lloyd or even Suzaku, then you could save a lot of people from dying.

Opening your shirt, you slip your phone out of your bra and try to take a few pictures of the screen before anyone can notice.

You flip out your phone and snap several pictures of the screen, taking them as fast as possible before hiding the phone behind your back and retreated out of the room before anyone can so much as notice you. Going back to the barracks you find a bathroom stall and lock yourself inside, using the privacy to write out a message on your phone explaining your situation and location.

Once it’s all typed out you attached the pictures to the message and decide who you want to send them too…

We can do multiple recipients, we should probably forward this to someone in power and a back-up in case shit gets rocky.

Also we shouldn't include Kallen being a Black Knight in there, Suzaku doesn't have the acting skills to pull off not knowing and if she remains unaware anyone else knows, we can exploit that at a later date to get closer to Zero or predict when attacks are about to happen (when she disappears from campus).

With a press of a button the message and pictures are sent to both Lloyd and Suzaku. You put your phone on vibrate and tuck it away as you think on what to do next. If Lloyd and Suzaku pick up their phones and get the information to the right people, it’s only a matter of time before the base is raided by the Britannian military.

Even if your situation is explained to the people who come to attack this base, chances are you’re still going to be in a lot of danger what with how you’re dressed as the enemy and all.

It might be a good idea to get out of here while you can, there might be an exit through the hanger.

Alternatively you could try to hijack and Knightmare and stir up some trouble before the main force arrives. You’d still be at risk, but at least inside a Knightmare you wouldn’t have to worry about being immediately killed.

What do you wish to do Shirley?

Guys, we can Gundamja-- I mean KMFjack later. But first, we need to secure our disguise, ID card, etc, and make sure the information we risked getting detected to send remains useful.

Later, when we're in distinctly less fragile shape and can actually drive a Knightmare out of the hangar and into a fight, would be a much better time to go about being the hero Zeon-- Britannia deserves.

Outnumbered and wounded, certainly. But we also could put enough destruction in our wake to greatly help the military as it will come to seize the base.

No. You don't get it. If the military knows the base is here... They can attack it without alert. If we start trashing things they can evac and everything else will go on high alert. You would be hampering the military.

(Sorry for taking so long, lost my first written post)

It’s all too tempting to find a Knightmare to hijack so you can start slaughtering these Black Knight bastards, but if you escaped and left them to be attacked without knowing who compromised them, then it’d make the inevitable failure of their plan tomorrow all the more satisfying.

Turning off your phone, you tuck it away and leave the bathroom with a smile, getting your civilian clothes to change when you get topside and making your way to the hanger.

Upon entering the hanger you’re met with the powerful stench of grease, powdered metal, and burnt rubber. Along the walls of the hanger are familiar machines, a few “Burai” and at least two dozen “Gekka” though these seem to be painted in a dull silver color opposed to the tiger stripe paint job the ones you’ve fought up to this point hand.

As you scanned the hanger for anything notable, you spotted a crimson red machine with an all too familiar redhead standing atop it. Kallen Statdfield, if that was even her real name, sat atop an almost demonic looking machine with a chromed arm that seemed like it was meant for grabbing or crushing.

She seems to have a sleepy, but worried look on her and does very little but star across the hanger in something of a slump. You don’t know if she’d notice you dressed as you are, but you don’t want to risk anything.

Taking your eyes off Kallen you looked across the hanger to see a small unguarded staircase that seemed to go upwards, probably to the surface or at least to some kind of exit. If you could sneak across the hanger and get to the stairs, then you’d be home free…

Despite having a bundle of civilian clothes under your arm, you walk through the hanger without much more than a glance from a few passing mechanics and engineers. No one sees you make your way to the stairwell and begin your climb back to the surface.

Before you climb however you look back and glare at Kallen, tempted to shout or say something to make her jump and fall off the top of the red machine she sits atop. But you hold your tongue and walk away, believing that you’ll have your chance to make her pay.

You’ll have your time to make EVERYONE pay.

The stairwell leads to another abandoned subway tunnel and after taking a flashlight from a crate near the door, the make your way through the tunnel, find the entrance back to the surface, change, and walk back into the daylight with the Black Knights uniform you stole shoved up into your hoodie.

As you begin to walk out of the alley, you hear the sound if sirens and the sounds of gunfire began to ring out…

(And this is where we’ll stop today. We’ll pick up tomorrow, 3:30 PM EST like usual. You guys did very well and avoided what could have been some serious dangers.)

I'll leave it up to your imaginations to decide that for yourselves. All I'll say is that if Shirley was caught and overwhelmed...well it would have definitely changed the course of the quest that's for sure.

>>36886390
Kallen's a good fighter, chances are if you guys fought her while injured you would have gotten your asses handed to you. You would have had to roll like gods to beat her in your current condition.

If you managed to injure her you probably would have taken her out of the equation for the upcoming battles.

If you somehow horribly cripple her? Well Rakshata was an expert on medical cybernetics...

>>36886443
Nope. Shirley doesn't know anything about C.C or Geass.

And if you can think of a proper way to seduce a heavily apathetic immortal who's more then a couple hundred years old then be my guest.

And I archived this thread.
