After being taken down the lift to the ground you’re brought to the front gate and moved into a cab, given a pair of crutches and fair for your trip.

As soon as the doors are closed you mutter your home address to the cab driver before passing out. Hours later you’re shaken awake and helped out of the cab to your front door. As soon as you’re inside you make your way to the living room and collapse onto the couch.

"Mom, Dad, I'm home..." You say quietly to yourself, staring up at the ceiling.

You have a week of rest and relaxation at your disposal, but with no one watching you you're free to do whatever you want.

You want to take it easy and rest, but decide to try to do something productive with the time you’ve been given.

Digging into the bag of belongings collected from your room you pull out the manuals you were given by Cecile and decide to finish reading through them. You already read the Sutherland Club manual and the Chaos Mine manual, but you skimmed through the Lancelot Club manual and never bothered touching the experimental coilgun instruction book.

With no real time limit you bust out the instruction books and read them to the best of your abilities, even going so far as to re-read the manuals you already read. You don’t learn anything new from the Chaos Mine or Sutherland Club manuals, but looking over the Lancelot Club manual gives you some insight into what kind of Knightmare it is.

While it’s made very clear that the Lancelot Club has incredible performance and is definitely a buggy machine given its construction, the Lancelot Club isn’t quite the production type copy of the Lancelot it first appeared to be. Sure, there were obvious cost cutting measures applied to it to make it cheaper to produce, but the experimental parts and systems added to it give it a more purposeful design.

While what you've seen of the Lancelot in action has been somewhat limited, it’s been easy to figure out that it’s a high performance general purpose Knightmare. It can fight and operate in any environment given the right equipment and outside of a few fancy systems there’s no real specialization to it.

The Lancelot Club on the other hand seems more oriented towards taking out high risk targets on the battlefield.

It’s equipped with a power ECM transmitter in the beetle like horn atop it’s head and not one, but two precise Factspheres in it’s shoulders.

When activated the ECM system jams all communications for 150 meters and severely interferes with other Knightmare’s factspheres sensory capabilities. While in close combat this wouldn’t mean much, to long range attackers and commanders on the battlefield this would be crippling.

The two Factpsheres in the Club’s shoulders are very powerful, boasting longer range and better data collection capabilities over standard Factspheres. It has the usual functions like night vision, infrared, and electromagnetic signature detection, but they’re all enhanced.

With the Lancelot Club you’d be able to pick out how many people where in a building through the walls by their heat signatures, spot the activation of a Yggdrasil Drive from half a mile away given the right terrain, and would be able to not only be able detect and track enemy communications to their source but listen in on them as well.

It seems kind of counterintuitive to have power sensory capabilities and a jammer on the same machine, but if used in the right order one could locate and track down enemy commanders in the field, jam their comms to prevent them from calling reinforcements, and kill them before the rest of the attacking force could figure out what was happening.

In short the Lancelot Club is a Commander Killer and last time you checked Zero was known for leading his troops in the field.

The prospect of using this suit to get your hands on Zero is delighting, but using the Lancelot Club isn’t without it’s risks. It’s equipment uses up a lot of power and it’s normal operation time is only one hour. If you did use the Lancelot Club you’d have to be very, very cautious with engaging enemies and be quick with completing your objectives.

Setting aside the Lancelot Club manual you pick up and read through the manual on the RA-60K-1Z 60mm Coilgun Rifle. It’s a fairly light read compared to the other manuals and the rifle proves to be fairly simple.

It uses 60mm rounds opposed to the standard 57mm used by the RA-57K and has a smaller clip that only holds about 100 rounds. The rifle boasts better accuracy and higher penetration due to the energy capacitors used to boost the coilguns projectile speed, but its rate of fire is significantly lower than that of the RA-57K.

An interesting note is that it’s capacity of using micro ammunitions opposed to it’s regular 60mm rounds. Essentially it can fire small anti-personnel sized rounds with decent accuracy, making the rifle good for taking out Knightmares and footsoldiers alike.

Tucking that information away for later you lie down and have a bit of a nap. You wake up sometime around 3:00 PM, hungry and in immense pain. After popping some pills and having a bowl of dry cereal (given how the milk in the fridge was practically two months old) you take out your phone and begin messing with it.

You could call Milly and put her worried mind at ease, or you could browse the internet and check the news. Alternatively you could check your messages and see if Rick ever sent you the contact information for that mask maker.

The last article you find catches your eye and you begin to read it in depth.

You look at the picture of the shaved, rather grim young man pictured in the article and can’t recall ever meeting him at the school. Then again given your memory issues he could have been your best friend and you probably wouldn’t know.

Checking the article again however, you remember seeing that silver haired boy in the woods near the tent when you were chasing after the rebels. You didn’t talk to the boy and he didn’t see your Knightmare, but you checked the area with a factsphere and their were two heat signatures, one from the boy and one from the tent.

The article doesn’t mention anything about who found the body or that Thomas was with anyone, so maybe it was his friend? Then again, a person’s body doesn’t immediately go cold after they’re killed, so perhaps that silver haired boy was actually the one who killed Thomas?

With nothing else to do you decide to call Milly. As tempting as it is to just try and avoid her all together, your memories of her are still crisp and clear and given how craz--eccentric she can be, it’s probably in your best interest to make sure she’s not worried about you.

Taking out your phone you get your medication ready for the possibility of an attack and begin dialing her number. Hesitating for a brief moment you muster your courage and hit the call button. The phone barely rings once when a surprised, sultry voice comes over the phone.

“Hey madame President, how are you doing?” You ask, trying to hide your discomfort and your painkiller induced grogginess.

“I’ve been worried sick about along with everyone else! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve called and had that creepy old guy pick up instead of you. He’s not hurting you is he? You’re not hit tied up in his sex dungeon or being used for experiments are you?”

The mention of sex dungeons reddens your face but you can’t help but laugh at how flustered Milly sounds.

The usual peppiness in Milly's voice wanes and there's a brief moment of silence where you think she's hung up on you. "This year is going to be my last year at Ashford's. Nina already left and got a job at some energy institute, Suzaku's busy with his job, Rivalz is still crying crocodile tears over my marriage, Kallen's been out more then you have, and Lelouch is..."

You hold the phone away from you and bit down on your tongue, drawing blood as you do your best not to focus on the name. Dizziness hits you and you reach for your medication, but the disorientation dissipates and the attack passes.

The realization that the girl who’s about as close to a sister as you could ever hope to come is powerless to help you now despite all her smarts and force of will is nothing short of heart breaking.

“If anything goes wrong you’ll the first one I call Milly” You say, feeling more of a liar then you have in the last two months of masquerading as someone else.

Milly hangs up and the line goes silent. You slowly bring the phone down from your ear and look around the dim, almost ghostly home you now sit in.

You’re happy that Milly’s no longer worrying about you but--your house hasn’t seemed this empty since your mother died.

You’re tired, you’re bored, and you still feel like garbage. It’s tempting to go upstairs to your old room, but your parents rooms are both upstairs and you don’t want to see them. The couch is plush and soft and after snagging some pillows and blankets from the downstairs bathroom you set yourself a little bed and lie down to sleep.

It comes pretty easily thanks to the pain killers, but your dreams aren’t remotely restless.

You find yourself being chased by Milly dressed in an old suit and carrying a cane, wobbling after you and trying to grab your behind. As you run you keep seeing desks, all of them have Nina’s face and they’re all staring at you.

Suzaku runs but, but he’s dressed like a girl and being chased by Kallen who’s dressed like a rabbit.

Milly chases you into a corner and you find yourself surrounded by hundreds of doe-eye table Nina’s who watch expectantly as Milly comes closer to you, her hands flexing eagerly and her eyes gleaming with dark perversion…

That’s when you wake up, jolting upwards in fear only to flop down onto the couch, grabbing your chest in pain. You feel a little better then you did yesterday, but it’s not very noticeably given how much your chest still hurts.

Checking the clock you find It’s only 6:30 AM, the sun is barely up and the mail hasn’t arrived yet.

Taking some pain killers and downing some water, you waddle into the kitchen and find there’s nothing to eat. The fridge is empty and there’s no dry cereal left to eat.

You could go grocery shopping at the corner store down the street and try cooking something, or you could always order out and just wait for your games to arrive.

You won’t pretend to know what you're doing or that anything you can look up on the internet is true, but you can at least hope eating fruits, veggies, and stuff with vitamins and protein will give your body the stuff it needs to fix itself.

After looking up some info on healthy eating and fast recovery, you make a list of the foods suggested and add some hardy beats and essentials to the list before heading out the door.

The morning air is crisp and cold, blowing against your skin and making you retreat into the house for a jacket. Once outside you begin the arduous task of walking from your house to the nearest grocery store down the block. You take it slow of course, moving steadily but not enough that you’re hurting.

The slowness of your walks irritates you a little, but as you begin to look around at the auburn colored leaves on the trees that dot the sides of the road you find inner peace and lose yourself in your slow journey for food.

A good 20 minutes later and you’ve arrived at the store, greeted by sleepy eyed clerks and and cashiers who somehow manage to look worse then someone recently shot. The store is kind of cheap and rather shady being a 24 hour store, but given the time of day it’s probably the only place open and it seems to have a nice selection.

You begin moseying through the shopping aisles and trying to follow your list as best you can, when you spy a flash of red out of the corner of your eye.

At first you're worried it’s your vision going bad on you but as you turn the corner you find it’s someone’s hair and spy the all too familiar figure of your classmate Kallen walking alongside someone you've never seen before.

Normally this wouldn't catch your interest, but Kallen looks very different then what you're used too seeing. She always seems so meek and frail, but here she seems perfectly fine. The man she's walking by is a tall guy, dressed in a jacket with a red headband around his head that matches the one Kallen is currently wearing.

This seems weird and for a moment you wonder if you're dreaming.

The pain in your side as you lean against your cart disproves this and you bring your attention to Kallen and her associate, both of whom appear to be talking to one another in low voices...
