Well, I guess the world as a whole IS pretty new for Miel the Second, what with being a day old and all...

Anyway, we bring her into the house, where Zoe quickly stalks and pounces down on her, starting to tickle and lick at the faery while the little thing struggles to flee from our lion-tribe beastgirl sister.

"Eldric, are you planning on keeping her in your menagerie?" ~asks Lyann while looking at the struggling faery try to escape the happy lion girl.
"Well, it would be kind of bad, I guess? she wants to see things, right? I figured you could keep her in the doll house in your room?"

Our experiments with the mana generators continue with little problems, and we manage to miniaturize them to the size of a juice jar, so that a number of them can easily fit in a single rack.

Asmund points out that as effective as they are, his spiders are much more cost efficient still, but they do have a hard limit based on a city's population.

Well, that's fine for large settlements, but the generators can be taken anywhere, unlike a town or city.

Many good choices there. Tempted to bring Mako home just so she could meet again with her only living family.

Tying up Asmunds problem would be nice. I wonder if he has figured out the after. Simply breaking the father, destroying the evil scientist labs and research would be a good thing. Keep the current ruler selection in place while he promises to come back later, after he cures Dawn would still be an improvement.

Pushing Lyann and maybe Zoe and Stella to scion through some hard grinding would be nice too.

New products are nice, but I rather get more info on the generators, they can change everything. Grandfather, the clan nanny and butler might be able to provide good advice there too.

As the days pass, the snow gives way to spring, and the garden comes alive with flowers and the gentle buzzing of our honey faeries as they go from flower to flower, the tiny workers seemingly dancing through the air as they go about their work.

At first, our neighbors were quite scared about having a been hive just across the low fence between our gardens, but they soon grew fond of seeing the petite faeries dancing among their flowers.

And just as we had hoped, the flower beds inside the greenhouse have bloomed with exotic flowers, filling that corner of the garden with their sweet fragance.

As we spend the evenings studying in the gazebo outside, the faeries take a liking to flying about, sitting on our shoulders or stealing sips from the tea and juice Ellie brings out for us.

"Alright, but we need paper other than my books, alright?"

Athena can finally pronounce our name correctly. At 3, almost 4 years old, she's a lovable little terror that runs around at full speed behind the faeries, behind our cat, or behind Zoe whenever she's shapeshifted. Of course, that just makes her into a huge, soft, fluffy kitten in Athena's eyes

Our baby sister is a pretty good artist, really. She's beyond stick figures and it is actually possible to tell who she's drawing.

Well... I guess we're color-coded for her convenience? Lyann is the figure with the red head, Zoe is the one with white hair, Stella is the one with black and a red bit, etc

"Ah, can you make a painting of me, miss?" ~asks Miel II while she hovers a little bit off the table

Well... I guess it's pretty amazing for a 3 years old

Spring also means lighter clothes, and Stella seems all too happy to wander about the garden without shoes without getting admonished over it. The caramel-colored wolf girl playing in the grass while wearing a light dress with thin straps that makes her seem a little bit like a doll.

Well, during the week, Asmund taught us his [Barrier Breaking] Elemental Spell Trick. By adding a MP recharge effect to a spell, he can cause simple magical barriers to collapse as they are usually designed to keep out "harmful magical effects"

Basically, you give your opponent as much mana as you are paying for a spell, and it causes his magical barriers to allow your spell through.

"Well, it should only work on magical barriers set to blocking "harmful spells" rather than "all spells" but you would be surprised by how often that is the case" ~he says with a smile

It feels pretty strange to practice attack spells on Dawn, but the succubus is really not affected in the least by magical attacks, is she? She doesn't even seems to notice as our spells are turned into pure mana, and absorbed.

On Friday, Okaba seems quite distracted as we beat him on chess again and again in the club room.

We end up choosing (without letting Lyann take a look at the catalogue, just to make her extra nervous) a very fresh, clean and prim outfit for her to wear at home, in several colors.

A pink, white, and yellow versions, made from a fluffy shirt and a long skirt to wear at home.

A simple and elegant looking red dress with a dettachable, long black tail full of curls and waves for elegant ocassions as well as dining out.

And we thoroughly enjoy how worried she looks as we confer with master Tazar on something else.

Really, we are just asking for three new school uniforms for her. A summer, spring/autumn and winter version of the school uniform.

Of course, we can say school uniform, but the only real regulations for girls is a black skirt, a white shirt, and a jacket over the shirt. Still, it is usually enough to give the feeling of unity a uniform brings to the students of any school.

For her summer uniform, the skirt is shorther than the one she has now, but not so short as to be called a miniskirt. It is short enough to leave a small gap between the edge of her stockings and the hem of the skirt, tho, and she is getting silk shirts and jacket.

The spring and autumn one has a longer skirt and a cotton shirt with silk leaves, while the winter version has an ankle-lenght skirt and thick cotton shirts with a white leather, fluffy jacket.

Well, she is a magical humanoid sapient bee rather then a bug. I could deal with it, it would be a bit bittersweet, but I would rather it wasn't that short.

Also, when we originally planned for the "taming bees" we thought they were nonsapient, it kinda surprised us that they were. So, I think rather then profiteering of their honey, we help them set up their own little communities within the "civilized cities" (eopolis, dwarftown, our current town) which interact with society at large via trade (basically, hire human caretakers... and not get exploited). This does mean forgoing profit from them, but it feels more like the right thing to do.

My persinal view is that when we 'tamed' them they were normal bees. Once we got them the noble class, she and her family/subjects were no longer bees, instead the gods are likely changing them through us into some of the first fae. A sort of completely unique new Majin race.

I think as the hive/family ages the drones will get smarter and eventually gain true sentience and speach over generations.

Afterwards they get more normal lifespans.

What I imagine long term for the 'Honey Faeries' Is that eventually they end up forming small cities in the great plains. They will grow exotic flowers and harvest wild flowers in the area. The nomad caravans will end up making stops there, trading raw materials to the Fae for rare medicines made from plants, resin items, wax type art and of course high quality honey.

Be interesting if we end up long term creating different groups of fae from different small insects that have a base level intelligent queen/king.

Double sided cards. First turn goes out as a normal human type. Then if certain restrictions are hit, she transforms into little furry destroyer.

Yeah, that's why I said long term. Short term I expect to see her children starting to start looking and acting different and setting up colonies at allied cities.

Well, this is an imaginary world. You are free to set any communal insect you want. Or have any insect have a 'royal' or 'evolved' blood line that is similar to the queen bee. JRPG's were never really strict on not making shit up.

She gets through once, instant monster, but weak to removal. Magic did a revamp in the past, I used to play back in Ice Age era, game really changed.

Monsters are stronger and spells are weaker per set. However in the old game, Monsters were real weak when there was 1 mana removal (swords), control magic, lots of counter spells, lightning bolts.

And eh, dont forget you could just use direct damage spells on your opponent BEFORE attacking with her. AND tyat she gets counters when your opponent takes damage from ANY source

Cast a Lightning, deal 3 damage for R
She gains +3/+3 permanently and becomes a 5/4 with intimidate and double strike

If an opponent casts a direct damage spell on her, cast a direct damage spell on him to inflate her

But hey, "dies to removal" is basically a cliché nowadays

May in fact make her 0/1 and have her only cost RRR instead.

I played from Dark to Mirage basically. Got burned out then, played other games till I burned out completely. Modern magic is so brutal with everyone grabbing decks off the net now. Very rarely do you see local deck building without being net assisted.

Have you played commander? It is a lot more friendly for casual play.

I won so many tournaments thanks to that. Was able to check the net and see every single card on my opponent's deck, then make cheap ass decks that bombed theirs, with some simple ways to win thrown in for good measures.

For example, a few lands that transform into creatures and maybe a millstone or something like that. The rest of the deck was pretty much all sideboard, with the sideboard being what normal people would place on the deck. Creatures, more ways to deal damage, etc. After each game I would just shift all the cards from the sideboard in and remove the "anti deck" cards I didint need against that guy's deck

Oh, he's playing black/red? I have 20 card onmy deck to fuck that deck. And 20 others to fuck the other nextdeck going around. After our first match I just shifted our 15 cards I didint need and placed in 15 more creatures or whatever.

Soooo many boxes of boosters won that way.

Don't think "aww netdecks make it so hard to beat them" look at it like "aww netdecks, so cute. I know every single card in their decks and how to fuck them"

Ah, sadly, since im going blind, I cant read cards anymore. Ive tried, but I cant. Im fine when friends want to make cheap decks and play with me using my cards, but I cant read cards well enough to actually play competitively any more.

Otherwise I would still be anally raping netdeck kids on every tournament. I just LOVED seeing their faces when their 1000 dollars netdeck got trashed by my 14bucks deck full of commons and uncommons

It depends, where I am here, the issue is that we have a very very strong meta game. When you have a 6+ round tournament with 50+ people, a lot of them very good, with a small collection you run into trouble. Lot of the players tend to be high school or older, lot of college and older players too. Strong deck variety also.

We do strict Tournament play, 60 card decks and strict 15 card side boards, for the whole thing.

I do a lot better in sealed and draft generally however.

I imagine Asmund likes the idea of a Western foreign vacation, he father likely does not have anyone there with easy access to spy on his movements.

Well, there was not much, controversial.

A lot of the time was spent on the date with Lyann, which we really needed to do. It is also a good confirmation that our mother is shipping us.

Also nice to see that slowly Lyann is forming up into her own person. Probably the time we are shipped out will nicely round out everyones personality. So they are less satellite characters to Eldric.

We also ended early. The first choice was what we do in summer and that would have been the one that might of incurred the most argument. Since it was decided early in the thread instead of end of a thread. In the future those choices would do well at the end so a lot of voices/votes are heard.

Controversy is one way to keep people going and arguing. Less people will post on simpler stuff also.

One thing to remember is that when people like me name or tripfag, it reduces the amount of felt activity in a thread.

Also, a lot of people won't bother to vote when there is a strong hivemind, or even majority to a choice they like.

We also have less mechanics discussion as currently we have beat, broken and shattered them so they go take a back seat to the characters. We are currently brute forcing everything with our level + stats.

I hope we get more posts when we see things go south in the Western continent. Also we didn't hear much from Ami and Mai about heading back for a vacation. I know Mako really really wants to see her sister.

there's tons of stuff on the various stats, jobs, and actions, but there's very little on item creation and invention. Everything's been basically hand-made, with anons voting for minor alterations.

King would need to balance out a new system for item creation and enchanting if more discussion is to be had. Otherwise, updating enchanted gear will always be a chore.
