You are Princess Sonriel Sutkezasael Impron Xophoetaron! Heir to the ebon and bone throne of the Demonlands, and a champion of love and justice. Together with your demonic cat, blood seeking mace, made scientist best friend, and musclehead mage buddy, you are questing to locate and win the Princess Battle Tournament, a multinational contest to determine the figurehead leader of the Allied Kingdoms!

>Current Level - Pretender Princess
>XP - 0
>Unlocked Modes: Passion and Heart.

Currently, you are accompanying an easy going bunny caste girl named Michi, a member of the Laemyrian Soul Guard. This nation is on good terms with the demonlands (due to being an offshot of demons several centuries ago), but those relations are at risk due to a rogue ogre tapping and enslaving their reincarnation cycle.

That's a bit complicated! An ogre is being a bully, and you're here to stop him. That's a bit simpler, yes? Excellent!

The idea was to let Areli find some of his friends in the area, old ogre sparring partners, who might tell him where this tracker might have gone. Laemyrian spirit slaves must not be that common after all! You... you hope not, at least.

The felmagi sniffs. "Ah, I think Brokthok's hut was around here somewhere. He's a good guy. Likes cats a lot. Owns lots of cats. Owns a lot of litter boxes. I try to spar with him away from his house, in all honesty." He sounds like an excellent man. "Other than that, we could ask Ruggithin, he's always hanging around with the more suspicious types. Says he likes to keep his one good eye on them. Don't ask about his bad eye." You feel compelled to, now.

>Visit the cats and also Brokthok! Surely they can help you relax in these stressful times.
>Swing along to Ruggithin's place. If he's a shady character, then he'll definitely know something about illegal spirit enslavement. Is that illegal? You keep telling father to write up some definite laws somewhere along the way...

Let's get some things done! We'll worry about cats later.
>>
>>36667513

When is later?!

Anyway. Ruggithin seems to have won, so I'll write that out reeeaaal quick for you late night readers.
>>
>>36667585
On the way back, I guess! I mean, We'll have to swing around and pick up that wolf girl later!
I mean, they're both so cute, and they'd make great escorts. We need to keep both of them.

We should see if we have any explosive of mind control collars laying around.

Gotta grind that XP
>>
Tapping a finger on your cheek, you create a perfect portrait of a princess lost in thought. Mostly, you were weighing the advantages of seeing cats against someone who would be more likely to know something about the situation. The odds were against the felines, the cold calculations and cruel formulas stealing you away from those that you desired most. Math was passionless, indifferent, and honest. Sighing, you clench your fist. "So be it. If it must be that way, then I will follow through on what is right! We'll go see this 'Ruggithin' comrade of yours."

Areli blinks, and Melody puts a palm on your forehead with a worried expression on her face.

On the ride to the place, you find out the Michi is a low ranking Soul Guard, having only gotten the position a few weeks ago. If she were to have a level, it'd be 'three'. Areli and Melody are more like 'fifteen', so you can see that she is an unenviable weakling. That is, unless there is a full moon. She doesn't explain what that means, but just warns you that you should be sure to tie her up.

Areli seems to find that suggestion embarrassing to some degree. Before long, however, you arrive at the stone hut belonging to Ruggithin, according to the felmagi.

"Areli! You sonnuva bitch!" A bellow roars out, the lumbering demonic ogre, skin red, one eye green, the other a strange shade of purple, comes bounding from his hut.

Areli just walks forward, unresponding. They clasp hands, and seem to struggle for a moment. You're unsure what is happening, but Melody starts to fan herself and get red in the face.

After a moment, Areli seems to twist the ogre's arm to the side. Then they laugh and slap each other on the back.

>Encourage them to get to the point. We have business to take care of. Gotta find those lost souls!

You study your fingernails. Of course, you are wearing gloves so that is a difficult task. "Areli, I've just remembered. I haven't seen you spar in quite some time. Isn't Ruggithin a person you do that with often? Why don't you display your talents as a felmagi to me. You have the perfect target here, yes?" Melody turns to you and gives you a thumbs up.

Areli has a sheepish grin as he looks to the demonic ogre. "Should we...?"

With a guffaw, the ogre slaps the permanently shirtless mage on the back. "Haven't punched that smug fuckin' face in ages. Let's do it!" Melody lifts another hand up slowly. Clenched into a fist, a sudden, rare, double thumbs up appears, and you suspect it is directed to you!

>You gain a Melody social link level! Wow! That's totally meaningless. You also gain 27 friendship points.

They ask you to be the officator, which you agree to instantly. Given an official whistle, you wait for the combatants to enter position. Areli has an open stance, one arm out a bit to the side, but Ruggithin is crouched low, fists ready for a pounding.

You lift the whistle to your mouth, and blow!

Ruggithin spring forward, his bulk traveling at a speed you weren't expecting, to appreciative clapping from Michi and a whistle from Melody. A haymaker blow comes arcing towards Areli's head, and you're pretty sure the guard of your body was going to get his head punched right off. But he ducks away, maybe an inch between the knuckle and his cheek as he moves in. A green flame surrounds his fist, and he delivers a savage uppercut into the ogre's stomach.

The demonic ogre doesn't seem phased by this, lifting his arms out wide and bringing them down into a savage hug, catching Areli in it.

"Areli!" You shout, "I remember you fighting harder than that when I used to beat you up when we were younger!" Michi gives you a glance, an uncomfortable smile on her face. "C'mon! I'm an impartial judge and officiator of this match, but I cannot help but feel as if you can do better. After all, you'd struggle to the bitter end when I would effortless dispatch your noblest attempts at besting me in combat." Melody gives Areli a pitying look.

The felmagi seems to be struggling less.

It backfired?!

>Your social link with Areli is fluctuating! Wait, this isn't even real.

With a roar, the ogre picks Areli up above his head, and throws him to the ground in a savage toss, the bulky beast seeming to glide through the air. Michi is still clapping and laughing, but Melody has the distinct look of hope. Hope that a contest isn't a blow out. She clearly loves fighting quite a bit. Maybe too much? You've heard rumors of experimental creature fighting. Maybe she's a villainous fiend who fights animals against each other?! What scoundrels you associate with!

Oh, shoot, while you were having wild fantasies, the ogre landed on Areli with a cracking sound. You wince, not enjoying the sight of wanton violence, but when you open your eyes, it appears that Areli formed some sort of energy field around himself. Is that against the rules...? Are there rules?

The shirtless man rolls away quickly, the ogre backing away for a moment, the chance being all he needs to dash forward, delivering a powerful one-two combo to the stomach, a leg kick, and then a spin and backhand. You feel as if he were a devil made flesh in how quickly he moved, fel energies surrounding each hit!

>The cheering, uh, worked! Maybe? Anyway, was this to points or... Begin officiating as hard as possible.

The ogre is dazed, on his back foot, but Areli gets over confident! He's heading in, preparing to put a finishing move no the demon, when the ogre delivers a dazzling headbutt to the mage! "Yowee..." Michi says, rubbing her forehead sympathetically. Those ears twitching. They look very soft. You wonder how much they'd twitch if you... The ogre slams a fist into Areli's gut, and then delivers a blow right across the face! A tooth goes flying, as well as spittle.

What follows is a series of gruesome submission holds and beatings the likes of which are not often exposed to cloistered royalty, but has Melody shouting explitives and pumping her fists. Michi is hiding her face and occasionally peeking through the fingers. You even forget you're an officiator for a moment, not waving the flag, gasping as Areli is put into a body breaking submission hold. Then, there is a spark of fire in the magi's eyes. You remember it... that sensation! It's like 'back then'!

With a roar, Areli busts free, flinging his oppressor's arms from him. The most foul dirty play you've ever seen commences. Eye gouges, thrown elbows, shin kicks. Areli is a furious, scrappy young man again, defiantely fending off the bullies and attackers who called magic a 'nerd's hobby'.

>Areli unlocks: Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap! - In a pinch, Areli will find an inner strength. It's... kind of sad, though.

The felmagi's incredibly unsportsman like conduct ends up securing him a victory. A shameful one that even deflates Melody's lust for blood.

"Haha, like old times, friend," Ruggithin says. There seems to not be any bad blood here. Moving on then.

..."REALLY?!" Michi says, bouncing in her seat. She claps her hands then gets shoked, placing them on her knees and making an overly serious face. "Uh, you mean to say you spoke to the perp recently?" One ear flops down, but the other is standing up rigidly.

You are tempted to let the bunny girl talk. And also to grab the ears. But, your princessly conduct wins out and you clear your throat, placing a hand on the table and looking Ruggithin right in the eye. The good one. We don't talk about the bad one. "Ah, that man is wanted by the crown, you know, I'd appreciate any assistance you could lend us. Now, about this rogue ogre..."

You learn he is a particularly foul necromancer, a popular profession. Apparently, he sells spectral slaves to the highest bidder. Often... for pleasure. The pleasure of their company in a non-sexual manner, of course. You can't have sex with a ghost! Effectively, at least. There have been many studies. Not that you're interested in such crass behaviour. Laemyrians are particularly popular 'pets', for some infathomable reason, so he just redirected the spiritual flow to make a quick buck. Ruggithin was offered a cut to find some buyers, but he refused. Of course. You didn't just come along right after he had been given the offer, or anything.

Regardless, the rogue ogre gave a meeting point for Ruggithin in case he found a potential buyer, and Areli's friend hands over the information easily. You didnt' even have to promise him a favor. Or look at his bad eye. Or promise Michi's hand in marriage to him. Though he did bring that up.

Michi looks at you in astonishment when you're done. "Wow! You're a great negotiator! I wanna be as good as you some day. I just don't have the 'killer instinct' according to everyone I've ever met." You can certainly see that. Though, you don't know how much you enjoy being told you have a 'killer instinct'...

>Arrange some convulted plan for Ruggithin to present you as a buyer so you can catch him with his guard down and take him out with minor bonuses!
>Just barge in there and murder the guy, gosh.

"Alright, Ruggithin, I will pretend to be your buyer. Now, take us to the cave!" There is much protesting, but you walk over any such weak attempts at caution. By the time you are at the cave, Melody attempts to get you to get your story straight, pleading that you need to get a solid idea in mind before you arrive, but its too late.

A princess must not falter.

Into the maw of the beast!

"Ah, Ruggithin, is this one of the people interested in my special wares?"

"Yes, I am Melody the buyer where are your illegal ghosts?"

There is a pause in the movement, everyone looking at you for a moment. Areli rushes the necromancer who is still shocked at your statement, and only has time to raise a single boneshield before the fist collides with him, smashing through and getting the necromancer in the face. However, a massive swarm appears immediately after, and pushes the magi away.

"Smooth moves, princess," Melody grumbles.

You cross your arms and pout. In the middle of combat. Fine! See if you'll help them any! You grab your magical and grumble, "Let's go, Romuthalax. We've got some blood to spill!" Oh gosh, did you say that? "I-I mean. We've got some undead to bless back into their graves." Melody goes to open her mouth, but your royal stare is enough to make her shut it. You have no time for science. No time at all.

The first few skeletons are easy enough to smash into bits, but tough zombies and other weird monstrosities show up, and really started to slow you down. After a bit, you started to feel curses settle in and really start to gum things up. Man, this is just not as fun as you were hoping...

... [And then] Heaven granted Melody another symbol, a dress soaked red with the blood of ogres, [whose] fine lace could [un-sector and form] into a princess whose every angle could cut her detractors and a name: SONRI-EL [which is] "The Star-Made Princess" [and she] was arrayed in fashions [from the future time]. And she walked into the wastes of Laemyria already killing, Areli punching at her side froth-bloody and bellowing from excitement because the ojou-sama was come... [and Sonriel] came to Melody's camp of rebels holding a scepter and mace, both encrusted with the smashed viscera of ogrish faces, feathers and magic beads, which were the markings of the Enemy of Love, stuck to the redness that hung from her weapons, and she lifted them, saying: "These were their eastern chieftains, no longer full of their frowning."

No one is taking you seriously because of one mess up! Even Michi is giving you a pitying look! Michi! She's lower than a snake! Look at that face. It's just insufferable. I see you, Michi. Stop it. Stop it! You are using a spear! Against skeletons! You're basically not even having a noticeable effect on the battlefield in any meaningful way!

I just saw you stab it through a ribcage harmlessly! And yet that look persists... that agonizing look. This bunny... this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny this bunny-

Okay, enough of that. You just realized you've made it to the ogre. You've got one daintily gloved hand gripping his chest and your magical wand is absolutely... uh, glowing with vital energy. "You. Give up the illegally obtained spirits this moment, sir, and I will be reporting you to the Imperial Torture Society for immediate reprisal. You have risked the demon lands relations with a foreign entity and I cannot, and will not abide such behaviour from my subjects."

The ogre could almost hear the 'u' in behaviour. It was that official. His surrender and subsequent reporting and processing by the Imperial Torture Society was prompt and timely, like it should be. Everything was in accordance with the princess' wishes. Finally.

"Ah... thanks for the help with the investigation, Son-son," Michi says scratching her head, "I'm sorry I wasn't much help. I don't know if I'm cut out for being a Soul Guard... All this seems like maybe it's too high pressure for me, ehehe."

You scratch her ear, and she makes a strange noise. "I will accept this as payment." It is super soft. Excellent payment, indeed.

You escort Michi back to the wolf-girl, and decide to send her off to Laemyria. "Alright, deputy Michi, it has been an honor working with you." You salute her in the traditional Laemyria way. It is a very difficult salute that takes years of practice to pull off. Michi looks shocked, and tries to replicate it, but fails.

The wolf-girl is staring at you. "You political types really go all out, huh? Nice salute, kid."

"That's Princess Sonriel to you. You should be easier on Michi, she worked very hard in the ogre's evil lair!" She sucked, also, but we'll leave that part out. "I know she's just a recruit but-"

"Eh? She actually fought? I haven't been able to get that little cottontail to do a damn thing. What'd she do to you, kid?" The wolf-girl pushes up her glasses and gives Michi a withering stare.

"Sh-she kept looking at me with this disappointed look and I got super nervous, and she just got angrier, and it was overwhelming and terrible, I just had to do something..." Michi is pushing the tips of her fingers together, cradling her spear in the corner of one arm.

The wolf girl plants one hand on her hip and gives you a sideways glance. "Hey. Laemyria has been putting off a diplomatic visit for some time, because, frankly, you guys are all kinds of messed up." Duly noted, nobles of Laemyria. Duly noted. "But, if you're a good influence on Michi here... well, I guess we could hang out a bit. Kills two birds with one stone, yeah?"

You raise a finger, "Yes, but, we intend on leaving the demonlands as soon as possible."

The wolf girl nods. "Even better. Name's Kaori. Let's mosey." With that, she walks off ahead of you without looking back. "I'm a wolf, so I can run real fast. Don't worry about me keeping up."

You guess that makes sense?

>"Sh-she kept looking at me with this disappointed look and I got super nervous, and she just got angrier, and it was overwhelming and terrible, I just had to do something..." Michi is pushing the tips of her fingers together, cradling her spear in the corner of one arm.
Even in murderhobo mode, Princess is the best support.

As long as it's open enough to show the belt bra. An unbuttoned lab coat is fine.
>>
Is Michi going to hop real fast or what?
>>

>Melody has glasses
>Areli has glasses
>Kaori has glasses
>Michi has an eyepatch

We need to be sure to keep this trend up. No eyewear, no party membership!

The princess has nothing so undignified as a "murderhobo" mode. Those were aggressive negotiations.

Thanks for playing tonight! You recruited some moe-moe animal eared cuties. Wow, good job.

Next time, we'll be approaching HATE MOUNTAIN to complete the anti-teleporter at last! Wow! Very important. It's powerful science.

Heh. I almost said 'next week'. Anyway, the plan is Friday to do this thing. Because the next two days of my life are going to suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck so hard

oh god I don't even want to think about it

Thank you for playing! And reading! You guys make it worth my while to even bother doing this stuff because hanging out with you is megachill and stuff, bro.

I have a twitter it is https://twitter.com/Fouldrinking

It is useless except to see when I run

I have an ask.fm it is http://ask.fm/ChiefGloombreaker

but it is complete shit, please ask questions to make it better I beg of you
>>
picture too lewd for quest btw

>too lewd for quest

Have you not seen our plans?
>>
>>36673420
Thanks for running hope the next few days don't suck that much.
>>
>>36673420
Hate Mountain sounds like a wonderful place.
>>
>>36673420
Where's the collars? I thought there was going to be collar play! And belt bras!
>>
>>36673420
Thanks for running, Chief! Your writing is always a blast.
>>
>>36673440
I nominate that to be the ceremonial uniform for the pair. To be worn at all official events.
>>
>>36673488
>not belt bras
>>
A bit slow, but it was alright
>>
>>36673476
You can't just slap a collar on foreign military. Once they are fully enamored with how amazing the princess is, they'll ask for them.
>>
>>36673457
>>36673476
I'm hoping this dies out before next session. It feels forced; Princess is currently way too good of a girl to do any of this.

If it fel natural I'd be all over it.
>>
>>36673497
That's just the ceremonial uniform, They wear the belt-bras for normal duty.
>>
>>36673498

I'm slow as shit it bothers me I'm sorry
>>
>>36673497
It's translucent and leaves lots of skin exposed, they can wear it over the belt bras.

>>36673507
It's all just joking around, odds of it actually happening are negligible. Chief is sensible enough to separate silly playerbase whims from what makes sense in-story.
>>
>>36673497
No, this would be the ceremonial uniform for all official events. The belt bras would still be the everyday work unifor and expected recreation attire.
>>
>>36673547
Advance the plot and get to bat country
>>
>>36673595
I'm looking forward to shopping, but if bat country has vampires I might have to second this.

They all scowl at Princess as her mace splatters food everywhere.

You mean or Royal Ultimate Wonderful Love Sparkle Magic Scepter.
>>
Chief did you forget to throw a link up on twitter when you made the thread?
>>
>>36674110
He remembered. I clicked it.
>>
>>36674187
Weird, it must have been on my end then
>>
>>36667314
I was very disappointed to find that this was not "Daughter of a Tyranid Quest."
