>definitely not a magical girl quest

Two minutes.

You've been in this place, this alien world, for just two minutes and it's already getting to you. Despite apparently being under the cover of night that would have blessed you with a soothing feeling of isolation in the real world, a dim pink fills the air around you and the sky above. A glow you trace back to the trees that surround the hill you're currently standing on top of as well as the strange town situated below you, effectively forming a shining wall between the town and whatever lies outside of it. Assuming anything is outside of it at all, that is.

On top of the unsettling, shiny, pink smoke emanating from the leaves of the trees, the foliage also fills the air with the gentle scent of cinnamon, something you also find yourself incapable of appreciating thanks to the sheer wrongness.

The town does little to comfort you, its mazelike streets and unfamiliar architecture reminding you that the inhabitants are more than likely to be supernatural, a serious threat to your less magical self if they should feel so inclined. You'll have to make sure they do not.

You are the Loli Talker, aka Nee-chan, a specialist dealing in bringing unreasonable lolis to reason, and you shouldn't be here. Not yet. Not according to the plan. Instead of the carefully prepared entry into this world Andrea had planned for you, you were suddenly and forcefully ripped from your own world and into this one, alone, and without a clue how to proceed.

You know the original plan, of course. Find the "girl" that stole your soul and take it back, by force if necessary. You're quite certain she'll be in the pink castle towering over the other buildings from the opposite side of the town. But how would you even face her now?

Your best hope might simply be to wait and hope that Andrea can use her magic to enter this world as well. And soon. It is night time after all, so you don't expect anyone to disturb you yet. That also means you have an opportunity to explore the town in peace and search for anything, or anyone, that may be helpful to your task.

>Make your way towards the castle and your adversary while you still have time?
>Explore the town, hoping you will find something useful?
>Wait. Just wait, at least from here you will be able to clearly tell if Andrea arrives and tries to signal you.
>...Or you could head into the woods? You'd be less likely to be found by anyone there.
>>
>>36643712
Yay, time for talking!
>Make your way towards the castle and your adversary while you still have time?

With a more careful inspection of the town from your vantage point, you determine several paths you could take that are not simply dead ends. On your left, the street snakes its way around a large rectangular structure several stories tall, its walls completely covered in glass reflecting the pink glow of the night sky. Unforunately this means you can't tell what is inside the building, only that it is one of only a few buildings larger than a typical house.

On your right, another street leads up to a similarly large but circular building whose purpose you can easily determine. A stadium. At least this crazy place has one of those, like civilized people should! What exactly they do in there remains to be seen and the question of whether anything there can be of use to you is equally unaswered.

Finally, you see a wide street leading straight down the middle of the town. Certainly your least stealthy option, but at least you won't get lost. Near what you estimate must be the center of the town the wide road meets the last noticably large building, surrounded by a fairly spacious open plain of grass and adorned with an oversized clock that, even from this distance, you can easily tell the time from. Ten past five, morning is a lot closer than you thought. Well, assuming morning works the way you're used to here.

Aside from these, the remaining buildings in the town are a mix of small houses and apartment blocks, none of the latter sporting more than three stories. You could always pick a random of these. You never know what they might have lying around in their homes!

>Find out what's inside the glass cube?
>Check out the stadium?
>Head to the center of the town?
>Try a random house?
>Try a random apartment building?
>>
>>36644215
>Find out what's inside the glass cube?

Ending R: You win, leading to spoilered
Ending M: You lose, leading to spoilered
Ending I+: Everybody wins, leading to spoilered

Write in as much as you like, I love when you do that, but my ideas are broad enough to fit anything you do with a few slight changes.

Writing now, but feel free to keep voting for a while longer.

You make the short climb down the hill without incident, the distance between yourself and the strange forest easing the pressure on your mind as the scent that shouldn't be wanes. You are taken by surprise however, at the noise of your own steps as you set foot on the cobblestone roads of the town, the quiet thud echoing through between the houses, intensifying as you do so. You appear to have caught a lucky break however, sensing no movements within any of the houses.

You slow your pace, taking each step very carefully to avoid repeating your mistake. This does slow your progress as well and it feels like an age that you are forced to walk between the darkened homes, never quite sure if someone is watching or not. Finally, you arrive before large box-like structure, a wide main entrance lined with trees, sadly also of the glowing variety, inviting you to come inside. Strangely, the door has been left wide open and from out here you can just make out a large fountain flanked by an escalator on each side leading upstairs. Beyond that, you're not sure.

Guess you'll have to head inside if you want to find out.

>Use the main entrance, it's open after all!

That's easy. The walls are all window, you just can't see through from this distance thanks to the light. If you get closer, that problem might go away.

From where you are, you still can't see through the glass walls thanks to the pink light reflecting off them. If you got closer, you should be able to see through without actually going inside. Though of course, that would go both ways, if someone is inside, a possibility your paranoia is telling you is very real given the door that has been left wide open at this time of night. With than in mind, you quickly step away from the main path leading up to the building, outside of the immediate proximity of the bright trees.

You're not really in the darkness, you've noticed that the outside doesn't actually get dark at all here even though the town appears to have not even a single street lamp. But at least you're not in the spotlight, so that's something. Nothing screams at you as you take the long but slow steps up to the side of the building, leaning in against the glass to get a proper look inside.

The ground floor appears to be simply a large square, devoid of features other than the fountain in the center that you saw before and the two escalators leading to and from the the floor above. The floor above appears to be open in the center, overlooking the floor below it. Along the sides from end to end the floor is lined with stores whose names you can't quite make out in the dim light. It seems this building is a mall.

Tossing a bone to the paranoid half of your mind, you take a few moments to carefully scan the view for movements, out-of-place silhouettes, and general oddities. While you do actually see something, you do suddenly notice something tugging lightly at your body towards the building. Not so much that you can't still move freely but enough to skew you balance slightly, as if gravity was facing the slightly wrong way.

Something or someone is definitely doing this.

>Head inside anyway? No sense being afraid of everything you find here.
>Look for a side entrance the observer might not have expected you to enter through?

>>
>>36645294
Whatever or whoever is doing this has probably already spotted you, you reason, so there's really no sense trying to avoid being seen. Instead, you're going to show that you're not afraid and walk straight into the obvious trap. Putting on a hard face and looking authoritative has worked for you before, so there's no reason it shouldn't work now. Or at least so you hope.

Barely a moment after setting food inside the building proper, a haughty laughter echoes throughout the great open hall.

"Ohohoho! You poor fool have walked straight into my trap!" You already knew it was a trap. "Now, invader, feel my power!"

The door behind you slams shut with a loud crack. But the door doesn't stop there, instead picking up even more speed as it flies off its hinges, straight towards you! You dive backwards as quickly as you can, but the sheer speed takes you by surprise and you're just a little too late, the handle of the door somehow managing to catch the sleeve of your shirt, pulling you along on its flight.

Continuing in a line towards the upper floor, both you and the door quickly depart from the ground. Realizing what is about to happen, you swing yourself around to bring yourself to the side of the door that was facing outwards a few moments ago and now is facing away from whatever you're about to make impact with.

Your flight is brief and only a short moment after a loud crash lets you know the door has made impact with its target and inertia send you flying on your own, making for a somewhat softer impact with a wall. An ear piercing scream follows, though you're quite certain it isn't yours. You weren't hurt too badly, though your shoulder is definitely in pain now.

>>
>>36646102
Raising your gaze, you see the source of the scream, the large no-longer-flying door having parked itself firmly atop someone, a small arm reaching out from beneath it.

>Go help out? She might be hurt badly!
>Actually, didn't that girl just try to attack you? Maybe you should use your current advantage to neutralize her?
>Just run away, this was definitely not your fault!
>Write-in option.

So apparently captcha just completely borked and I can't post via 4chanX and am instead stuck with, well, vanilla 4chan to be able to post anything. This is annoying.

Scold her for acting so recklessly
>>
>>36646128
You quickly get back on your feet, rushing to the trapped girl in a single jump. She's not making any sounds at all. You can't quite decide if she's lucky or unlucky that she picked the one part of the building's exterior that isn't glass, but for you right now it means you have no idea what she looks like below that door. Not unless you get it off of her.

You grab hold of the side of the door, lift, and... Nothing. There's no way the door is supposed to be this heavy! You know you're not very strong, but you can't even move this door an inch. Failing your first option, you instead take the hand poking out from under the side in yours, a deep breath, pull, and... also nothing! This doesn't make sense, she's just a little girl, how could she possibly be this heavy? And how are you supposed to get her out now?

>Try to wake her up, maybe that will make it easier?

Leverage, that's what you need. Like a rod or something! You're in a mall, you should be able to find anything here! Looking around you, you see a toy store, a clothes store, a candy store, another toy store, and... it just keeps going. Expecting actual tools here would be asking for a bit much, you suppose. None of them appear to be locked though. You're not sure what the crime rates are around here, but it's certainly fortunate for you. You just have to figure out where to look.

Clothes? No you definitely can't use clothes, that's stupid. Candy? No, that doesn't work either. You sprint into the nearby toy store, apparently not activating any alarms, they might have something long enough for what you need. Like maybe a plastic bat. You have no idea where to look in this stupid store though, so you pick an aisle at random, finding... what the hell is this thing even supposed to be? You definitely never had anything like this. But whatever, it should do what you need it to do, right?

You grab one from the shelf, hurrying back to the unknown girl. She still makes no sound. You face the toy downwards, forcefully pushing the hammerlike end under the door and unexpectedly hitting something hard. "Owie!" the girl cries from inside. "Why did you hit me? Big meanie!"

Gee, you're trying to help her and instead she's complaining! Well it doesn't matter, you're not doing it for her gratitude, you're doing it because... actually why are you? Whatever! You take a firm grip around the toy, and pull as hard as you can, lifting the door in turn. Far more than you expected. It would probably be more accurate to say you sent the door flying into the air again. You're not sure how that happened, but a few seconds and a loud crash later and the door is lying in pieces in the fountain below you.

As you stare in awe, still trying to comprehend what just happened, your thoughts are pulled back to the present by the angry voice of the strange girl. Dressed in a short night dress and sitting on a pink pillow, it would appear she has been spending the night here in the mall. She stares intently at you, her rage shining bright in her eyes.

"You meanie! You hit me in the head! Give me one reason not to destroy you!"
