You are Sireyi Valyenya, 23 years old, and tomorrow you are getting married, but tonight....you party!

“Jal!” you complain “It’s freezing out here, let me in!”

“Two minutes!” she says “getting the scenery ready!”

You’re standing outside the Plane theatre in the City of Oyidesck, in the Drache Empire. Jal has kept you waiting outside whilst she gets everything set up, *just so*.

You’re not really cold exactly, but under your cloak you’re wearing the skimpiest maid outfit you’ve ever seen – part of your bargain with your three fiancées. This early in the evening there’s only a few people out on the streets, and you attract some curious looks – an attractive young woman standing by the delivery entrance of a grand theatre, covered in a long cloak, you don’t even want to know what’s going through their heads.

Finally the door opens, and Jals head and shoulders emerge “Ok” she says “now you can come in”.

“Oh that's grea-, wait what?” you ask in dismay as she waves a black strip of cloth at you

“Blindfold” she explains “I know how sharp yer eyes are.”

“This isn’t going to end up with me taking my clothes off in front of strangers whilst I think I’m alone is it?” you ask peevishly.

“No...” says Jal, thinking hard “But thanks for the idea for our first wedding anniversary, now slip into it luv.”

You put the blindfold on, with just a little grumbling, and let Jal lead you through the theatre, she removes your blindfold and you see a private box with Isla and Sofia sat in two of the comfy-looking chairs, a third empty one in-between. Isla pats the seat and Sofia shoots you an amused smile “trouble getting here?” she asks.

“Jal is enjoying this far too much” you grumble, hugging the cloak around you despite the warmth of the private box.

Isla giggles “You haven’t seen anything yet. Wait until you see the bit in the show where-”
>>
“What Isla is trying to say” says Sofia, with a raised eyebrow at Isla “Is that Jal felt the story in question needed, ah *lewding up*” she points to a red flag on a short length of wood propped up in a corner “if the story is getting too far from the truth, wave the flag, she’ll bring it closer to the truth. If she ignores the flag, yell at her.”

“Thanks” you say, wondering how much you’ll need to use it “Won’t she be upset if I do that though? I mean, it seems she’s put a lot of work into this.”

Sofia snorts “Jal loves to embarrass you Sireyi” she says “don’t let her get her way all the time, or she gets pushy and unbearable, for example” she nods to a wooden chest against the wall “Jals had her fun with your outfit” she says “change clothes if you want.”

You could change into something less revealing, or keep your not-really-a-maids-uniform-at-all on, along with the collar and leash.

>Change Clothes, be comfortable
>Keep the maid outfit on, don’t want to upset Jal

The following is a summary thread of the quest to date. It is told from the point of view of an in-quest character, this is my excuse in case I get any details wrong.

There will be votes throughout, mostly to do with Sireyis reaction to the story. There will also be an important vote at the end.
>>
In case people want to discuss stuff during the thread, XP

General 38 (base), 57 (including bonus)
- First Resurrection (Isla and Ebonsong) 5
- Mother backstory complete 10
- Salvastis story complete 10
- Ruler of Succubi kingdom 3
- Getting Married 10

Paladin 20 (base), 30 (including bonus)
- Killed a Dracolich (missed from last XP in error) 5
- Made peace with your sister 3
- Saved the succubi in battle 3
- Led the demons in battle 3
- No companions died in Hell 2
- Milerna to train as a Paladin 4

Angel 16 (base), 24(including bonus)
- Defeated demons in battle 3
- Rescued your Mother alive 5
- Killed Salvastis 4
- Retrieved angel magic items 2
- No other items retrieved (0)
- Didn’t fall for any of Salvastis traps 2

You also have 5 additional Angel XP left over from spending Deific Power.

This event marks the end of the year as well, so feel free to discuss what you want Sofia doing with the realm of Dalvin. The crown subsidy ends after this year.

There will be a 3 year in-game timeskip after the wedding during which not much will happen. You still only get 1 year of realm finances to play with though – after that all of the realms spare funds will be used to help build your new all-succubi nation.

[End Meta]

Down below your private viewing box, in the theatre proper, you can hear low conversation and the sounds of people shifting in their seats, you wonder who else is here to see the show Jal is going to put on.

Before you can peek over the balcony to see, the show starts. The lights around you dim, and the stage blooms with light, Jal steps out from behind the curtain, wearing a very stylist dress, more conservative than anything you’ve ever seen her wear before.

>Keep the maid outfit on, don’t want to upset Jal

Duh, it's supposed to be fun for them too.

Unless comfortable clothes means a babydoll and nothing more.
>>
>>36603967
>Keep the clothes, why not try to enjoy this too?

It's a party, go wild!
>>
>>36603967
>>Keep the maid outfit on,
I change the reasoning: Today is a day to loosen up and not be so uptight. Under different conditions Sireyi would (and should) not let herself be handled like that. But today she Sireyi wants to indulge her lovers, and this is part of it.
>This is a private Box. Let go of the cloak. But look around to make extra extra sure it is indeed private and no one is spying first!
>>
>>36603976
>3 year in-game timeskip
Sireyi will wait three years to do anything against the ever-growing Cold Death? That seems unlike her. Though a realm-wide sanctuary and handing out the resulting abundance of food would alleviate many of the issues.
>>
Who's looking after Milli and Vivi? You know, the two relatively defenseless children that any nobles looking to get some leverage over the new baroness would happily target?
>>
>>36604089
Probably the angelic bodyguards, mundane bodyguards, magical defences, Bluey and Sofia2.0, the Grandmother etc.
>>
>>36604041
Hey.Velya wil cheer her finally letting loose!
>>
“Welcome” she says, her voice carrying easily across the theatre “Thank you for coming, I invite you all to witness the life story of someone dear to everyone here.” You get a sinking feeling in your stomach. Jal looks up at the box you are sat in, and you feel an urge to hide “Sireyi Valyenya” says Jal with a grin “This is your life.”

As Jal start talking, the curtains open, and actors and actresses in costumes perform the scenes as Jal narrates.

After a look around to ensure that the box is indeed private, and there are no peepholes or other methods of easy observation you say to Sofia “Jal put so much effort into all of this, I just don’t feel right about spoiling it for her.”

“Have it your way” says Sofia with an amused, and lingering look at you.

[Thread 1]

“Sireyi Valyenya the half-giant, no wait, the half-angel, was born to Syderis the Angel, and the Baron Valyenya. Her mother disappeared when Sireyi was very young, and they would not be reunited for many years.”

“Her step-mother hated young Sireyi and she was engaged to marry the King of Gorim, but she ran away to join the church of Velya at age 12. Called to be a Paladin of Velya, the first in a century, Sireyi trained with the young men and women wanting to be clerics and paladins of other gods, to better prepare herself for her tasks ahead.”
“At the Church of Konig, there she joined every long-distance field exercise she could and made a lot of friends.
But it wasn’t all fun. A particularly arrogant knight-aspirant, Gustas Garrond, wouldn’t give her a moment of peace, calling her *Whore Knight* and *Champion of Sluts* (as if that was a bad thing), frequently she walked away, he wasn’t worth her time.”

On the stage a hideously ugly man harangues what appears to be a demonblood of succubi lineage, with an illusion to make her look like...a version of you.
>>
“Later she studied with the cleric-apprentices of Mazon, she applied herself diligently to her studies (boring!); and learned how to turn the system of rules to her advantage (good girl!). But the clerics of the merchant God are not always the most....honest lot. She saw a fellow student, Ibram Hessels, stealing from the church coffers and she turned him in to the authorities, they expelled him from the Church and he swore revenge on her (dumbass!).”

On stage the young succubi-girl points imperiously and a shifty looking man is led away in chains – if only he had been imprisoned instead of merely expelled...

“Finally she learned under the tutelage of the ancient sages of Yerra, she learned a great deal about magic; and made a lot of friends. But magical power can be tempting, one of her teachers made a pact with a demon and tried to sacrifice her to it, she found a flaw in his summoning circle, allowing the demon to drag him back to Hell and devour him (that’s my girl!).”

You groan and put your head in your hands as the young succubi-girl playing you is bound to an alter with her legs splayed and wearing skimpy underwear, that’s not how it happened!

>>Red Flag
It’s part of the game!
>>
Ah well, it is Jals show after all. Despite Isla offering you the red flag you decline and sit tight, trying not to twitch as Jal continues.

“On her first mission” continues Jal “Young Sireyi went to the village of Dallersgill to solve a goblin problem. The villagers were under attack by goblins, but things were not as simple as they appeared. After speaking to the goblins, and their orc ally Braggedin, Sireyi learned that a scheming merchant was trying destroying the goblins food supply to drive them away and make his logging business easier and more profitable. He knew that the goblins were attacking the villagers and didn’t care. But thanks to the goblins hero, *bird-girl* the day was saved, and one corrupt merchant had to buy enough food for them to relocate a long way away.”

On stage a bunch of kids in goblin masks had flowers to the young girl playing you, as she hugs them in thanks.

[Thread 2]

“But there was no rest for our young hero! No sooner was she back from her first mission that she was given a super-ultra-top-secret mission – to recover Velyas stolen underwear!”

As Isla, Sofia and the audience below share a good laugh, you smile wryly, happy that Jal hasn’t revealed about the Horn of Alzurad going missing...

“But not even Sireyi can do everything on her own: she decided she had to recruit the best bard, wizard and fighter in the city, unfortunately they were busy, so she recruited Jianxi, Isla and Matthias.”

Isla gets a somewhat offended look as actors playing your first three companions come on stage and *Isla* immediately starts kissing *Sireyis* feet – much to the other actresses obvious embarrassment.

[Thread 3]

“After getting supplies Sireyi and her companions set out towards Alsterport, but on the roads they encountered a group of bandits attacking a caravan.” Jal continues her story “Our heroine immediately sprang into action and led her companions to victory!”
>>
>>36604324

Maybe? Sireyi always wore skimpy underwear, though.
>>
“However” says Jal “During the fight, our sensitive protagonist had noted traces of demon-magic, with the captive bandits unaware of any of their group being such spellcasters, she was left without any leads, apart from a young man travelling with the caravan. Although she tried to talk to him about his woes, he would not listen to reason and summoned a pair of demons to slay our heroine!”

On stage a pair actors in bad demon costumes jump out from behind the scenery and attack *Sireyi*, her illusionary clothes take most of the damage.

“Hey” whispers Isla “didn’t you stop him *before* he was able to summon any demons?”

Jal *wants* to embarrass Sireyi with this stuff. Waving the red flag indicates that she is too embarrassed to do nothing. If Sireyi simply watches, Jal will be disappointed.

The question is: How far will we let Jal escalate until the flag is used?
>>

It is the next step after the red flag. If Jal ignores the flag, then we yell.

Yell also allows you to give your own version of events, think of it as a dialogue write-in.

You retrieve the red flag and grasp the pole, just in case, but don’t use it yet.

“After subduing the not-really-a-demon-worshipper Camryn” says Jal “He was shown the error of his ways and promised to be a good person. With that in hand Sireyi and her companions made their way to Alsterport to start looking for the thief who had taken Velyas underwear.”

“Late at night in an inn Sireyi recounted a tale from her childhood to her good friend the wizard Isla. When young Sireyi was a child of 12, she visited the Kingdom of Gorim to meet her future husband, although she felt like knifing the fat bastard on sight she instead spent most of the trip annoying him.”

On stage a young girl made up to look like an angel keeps chasing a fat man in a crown around on stage trying to stick a knife in his back. You frown, that doesn’t make any sense, you had a knife but at age 12 you never wanted to kill anyone, still, that’s a minor embellishment on Jals part you suppose.

“The king’s advisors laid a trap for young Sireyi, and used a firebird to lure her into it, capturing her in a net and tried to use magic to control her. But Sireyi is too strong-willed and stubborn (as I well know) and their plan failed.”

Thankfully you were vague with Jal about what truly happened in the cellar in Gorim, you still don’t know if you understand it yourself.

[Thread 4]

“After story time, Isla and Sireyi slept together for the first time” continues Jal “and the next morning, they both danced on stage in a strip club, now how many paladins can say they’ve done that?”

“Really?” Asks Sofia, giving you a disbelieving look “I thought Jal was making that bit up when she wrote it.”
>>
[Thread 5]

“After locating the thief, or at least his destination, Sireyi set out in hot pursuit, booking passage on a ship. On the way she battled fish-people, and had to spank Isla for her misbehaviours.”

Isla chokes in outrage as the actresses on stage act out Jals version of events, to the amusement of the audience, and Sofia.

“Once in Gorim, Sireyi learned about how the King had become more corrupt and crazy over time, and she resolved to put an end to him.”

[Thread 6]

“After months of planning, the people of Gorim were ready to rise up against their oppressor, Sireyi had subverted important figures in the military and the battle was easily won. She captured the king and he was turned over to his people for judgement.”

Thankfully Jal leaves out your somewhat embarrassing battle against the Chief Vizier.

[Thread 7]

“With the new government of Gorim in place, Sireyi and her companions ventured into werewolf territory where, due to her beating up a dumb walking rug, she was counted as an equal by the werewolves. They told her the thief had been through there and they were tracking him for their own reasons. Rather than wait around passively for her new hairy friends to bring the thief to her, Sireyi decided to go on ahead and catch him.

“One mishap with an acient magical teleportation stone later, and Sireyi was one another plane. There she met a giant named Bokin, and spent the night in a dolls house – isn’t that cute?”

Isla can’t stop giggling at the image of *Sireyi* on stage wearing an oversized dolls dress, waving merrily through a window. Yeah that was kind of a weird day.

“Unfortunately Sireyi had ended up on a plane ruled by demons, and she could not easily return home, fortunately an old giant named Wegenthal was able to tell her how to she could free herself from this place.”
>>
>>36604512
>That's why I want to Whispering Wind her, it let's her have her fun, lets her know we're game and stops the wrong story from being taken as true.
But that would turn a hilarious two-player-game into a one-sided performance! The interaction between Sireyi and Jal would be far more fun than just leaving Jal alone and without any feedback until the end.

Exploring and widening the boundaries Sireyi sets is what makes this game fun. Telling a wrong story to the audience is just the medium for this. OF COURSE this is just "based on a real story" like IRL productions. Telling this to the audience would do nothing.
>>
[Thread 8]

“Together, Sireyi and her new ally Bokin invaded the lair of an ogre tribe, looking for an old dragon called Brearax. After defeating the ogre leader Sireyi made a pact with the dragon – he would awaken her powers of sorcery, if she cared for his latest descendent. And this is where Ebonsong enters the story.”

From the yell down below it seems that Ebby is part of the audience.

[Thread 9]

“Other tasks for Sireyi included meeting some spoiled princess who ruled over an island. It must’ve been the hardest thing imaginable to walk through the courtyard there to force herself to meet her Royal prissiness.”

A glance at Sofia shows her smiling tolerantly at Jals narration. You recall the hardest thing about that day was walking past the giant fire with the demon lord trapped inside, and not freaking out.

“Of course, what kingdom is complete without scheming nobles? A Lord Ninver was trying to have Princess Sofia married to one of his cronies to secure his power. Sireyi also discovered that the Jalweyen *Royal Powers* that Sofia had were in fact paladin powers and also she learned about a demon lord called the Sorcerer – one of three demon lords who ruled the entire plane. He was trapped in the Heartfires – which could not be extinguished except by Sofia’s death, and could not be killed except by a paladin.”

At this point all the actors freeze, and all the lights dim, except one illuminating Jal.

“At this point, Sofia made the suggestion that she sacrifice herself to allow Sireyi to kill the Sorcerer, words cannot express how bad an idea that was.” Jal avoids looking in the direction of your seating box but Sofia still shrinks in her seat a little.

[Thread 10]

“Anyway” says Jal brightly “on with the story” and the actors start moving again.
>>
“Sireyi sought out an assassin in a nearby town who was hired to kill Princess Sofia, except it turns out he was hired to capture Sireyi instead and he was a bounty hunter, the assassin bit was made up. Sireyi cunningly allowed herself to be captured to find out who his employer was.”

Yeah, you allowed yourself to be captured, that was totally the plan.

“Unfortunately” says Jal, a leer on her face “She woke up wearing a collar of obedience, meaning a beautiful young girl with a great rack and an amazing body totally had to do what a bunch of slavers said. Fortunately this misfortune was more than outweighed by the awesomeness of her traveling companion...ME!”

“Now Sireyi, Paladin though she is, is also pretty skilled with her tongue – by which I mean she’s good at talking to people. Gendric, the bounty hunter had his own set of problems, and once she knew what made him tick, Sireyi was able to talk him into letting her go and together they defeated the slavers and escaped. It was the last time Sireyi would ever see that obedience collar, until the night just before her wedding at any rate.” That comment doesn’t worry you at all, definitely not...

[Thread 11]

“Having escaped from bondage (for now at least) Sireyi and the real hero of this tale met up with Sireyis companions: Bokin, Ebonsong and Sofia. Being something of a romantic who couldn’t bear to see two unattached young girls without a beau, Sireyi made sure they’d be spending a lot of time together, or maybe she just wanted to watch, the winged perv.”

As Isla and Sofia share a laugh you sputter out “All I did was cast a Tongues spell on you two," which just makes then laugh harder.
>>
“Now due to a complete misunderstanding, I was accused of theft by a fat idiot merchant, who was ugly and smelled bad. Luckily for me, Sireyi talked the ironshirt out of arresting me, but for some reason she seemed to blame me for something that was in no way my fault – I mean, his handkerchief was just hanging out like that, it would have been a crime not to. For my totally-not-a-crime Sireyi tied me up in her bedroom and whipped me, she does this any time she thinks I’ve done something bad.”

>>
>>36604886
For fun.
>>
>>36604733
Since people seem to like this one I’ll mention that I thought that there would be a noticeable pause between the sentences. The second one would be her suddenly realizing that she needs to deny having spanked her which to the audience makes it potentially seem like a hastily added lie to save image. Furthering Sireyi’s embarrassment upon realizing it. I’m overthinking this shit.
>>
Ok, that’s it! You lean over the balcony and yell out “That’s not a punishment for you Jal, that’s a reward.” As the audience laughs you clarify your comment “Also I don’t do that.”

Jal breaks off her narration, glances up at you with a smile on her face and says “So you’re saying, if I started behaving, you’d start using it as a reward? Good to know.”

She returns to her narration “And speaking of bad...spiking drinks is bad. Some scutters on board our airship decided drugging Sof and having their filthy way with her was a good idea, and when me and my buddy Mr Knifey objected, we was arrested, cheek!”

“Fortunately” continues Jal in a huff “Sireyi was there to argue our innocence and save us from the clink. Soon after this a bunch of pirates with a lightning box attacked the ship, Sireyi snuck on board the ship and stole their lightning core thingy, and with skill and dedication, mastered the box, something that would come in handy later on.”

[Thread 12]

“Having arrived safely at their destination, Sireyi and her allies checked into their hotel, we were meant to go out looking for someone, I forget who, but Sireyi wasted no time in getting naked in front of us.”

“What?” says Isla, spitting out her drink.

“Jal wanted to play Truth or Dare” explains Sofia “She just has an...interesting way of playing it.”

“After Sireyi carried me into our bedroom for the night” says Jal, without a hint of embarrassment “We went ter meet a very interesting girl by the name of Ellahi, or as some know her *The Fun Valyenya*. It was an interesting meeting all in all, and we learned something about Sof, that even she didn’t know.”

You and Sofia both grimace, recalling your first conversation with the God Konig, after learning that Sofia was descended from him. The two of them...didn’t get along, Konig kept trying to give orders, and Sofia kept telling him where to go.
>>
[Thread 13]

“Now as lovely as the Fun Valyenya was” says Jal “Some of us were spoken for, I had to fend her off by telling her that Sireyi and I were already a thing, little did I know that what started out as a little white lie would become the truth later that night as Sireyi slept with both Sofia and myself, the two of us worn out after bedroom antics and snuggled beneath her wings.”

Isla turns to give you a questing look as you explain “They wouldn’t knock it off with the pillow fighting, eventually I had to restrain them.”

“If that’s what you want to call it” says Sofia in a teasing tone “I won’t argue.”

On stage, Jal continues her tale “Now as well as being beautiful, our Angel Girl is also smart, like impossibly so, so smart that sometimes she moves too fast for other folk to keep up. Having her magical box of lightning she decided that playing with it in a shielded lab was ok. She also invited two innocent, pure young girls into the lab and one thing led to another and folk can’t be held accountable for what happens when magic is involved and to cut a long story short, although we didn’t know it at the time both Sofia and I were now due for a a lovely surprise each later down the line.” Jal mock-whispers to the audience “Inviting us both into the lab? I think she mighta known what was gonna happen, I guess maybe she wanted kids a lot.”

It depends on what you mean.

It was Sireyi's wild magic effect, stored in the node, which Ellahi accidentally released.

What's the link between electrostimulation and an end product of children?

So many possible innuendos…
>>
The flag hangs limply in your grip, you feel too stunned to interrupt or correct Jal as your skin reddens with a blush, Sofia and Isla are laughing, Sofia is bent over double and Isla has tears running down her cheeks.

“The nerve of her...” you mumble out “it was an accident....”

[Thread 14]

“Now around this time” says Jal “Fun Valyenya was having Sireyi running to and fro doing lotsa jobs, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t paying that much attention, seemed kinda boring. What I do recall is that she went to see a Mistress of Body Changing, won a bet.” Jal pauses, gives the audience a significant look and says “and didn’t get her bra-size upgraded, proving either that she don’t know how pretty she is, or that she thinks she’s already perfect, I mean, she is, but it makes her sound like she’s got a big head, yeah?”

You catch Isla staring at your chest “Yes?” you ask.

“Uh nothing” she says, looking away “You don’t need to be any bigger.”

“Now Sireyi and Gendric also fought in the arena” says Jal, continuing her narration, “winning every fight, because she's awesome”

Jal wisely leaves out the part where you forced a politician to vote as Ellahi ordered.

“After that” says Jal “We all went out fer a night of fun, I managed to make a slight error in judgement and Sof got upset and all I’m saying it was a good thing Sireyi was there, otherwise me an’ best girl might never have got together.”

She pauses, as if considering something “Of course, straightaway, we both decided she was gonna be our next love, makes yer wonder if that was her plan, by getting in-between us ter mediate, she was planning on...getting in-between us another time.”

“Another night” says Jal “We stayed in and played a game about building Empires, I crushed everyone and tied Sireyi to my throne in chains, if her blushes were anything to go by, that really is her sort of game.”

You lean over the balcony “You haven’t chained me up yet Jal!” you yell.

Jal yells back “Oh yeah? Show us yer necklace then!”

Sofia gives a light tug on the leash hanging from the collar you’re wearing “It’s not a chain” she says “but do you really want to fly down there in your current outfit?”

Grumbling, you sit back in your chair.

“A few arena fights later” says Jal “Sireyi and Gendric decided not ter slaughter three dozen orcs on account of it being unkind.”

And because by then you had what you needed to convince the politician...also you need to thank Jal for not making an *orc gangbang joke*.

“Now Ellahi (The Fun Valyenya) is a healthy girl with needs ya know, so it just so happens that they best way to *cure* her is for Sireyi to slip a little of herself inside Ellahi (lucky girl).”

Jal manages to gloss over the fat that if you hadn’t cured Ellahi, she might be dead by now.

[Thread 16]

“With all the jobs over and done, Sireyi heads to the body-changing parlour to get a few upgrades, only for us all to discover that me and Sof were well and truly duffed. After a little alone time, we all decided that accident or no, it was all for the best, and we left the city so miss mad about the weather could go flying up into the clouds and get a good hard shocking from a storm, and no that’s not a euphemism.”

“I needed the storm to fuel my magic” you complain to Isla and Sofia.

“And you don’t enjoy flying in storms?” asks Isla innocently “Not at all?”

You pause before answering “I didn’t say that, but I really did need the power-boost.”

[Thread 17]

“After Sireyi had got her thrills” narrates Jal, making it sound like you, when you’re in a storm you are doing it for- Is she implying..? From the laughter and comments from the audience, she definitely is.

You hang the red flag out of the box and give it an enthusiastic wave. Jal pulls a face and adds “In the interests of clarity I must say that there’s no proof that Sireyi gets any sexual thrill from absorbing magical power from lightning storms, she just happens to do them- I mean do it, a lot.” Jal gives an obvious wink to the audience.

You stare at the flag in your hand, and then back at Sofia, who shrugs “It’s the signal we agreed on” she says weakly “That if you waved it, Jal would correct herself.”

“The corrections as bad as the hint” you say “should I throw the flag at her next time?”

“She might say you’re trying to give her the pole” notes Isla, you give her a betrayed look “you too?” you ask, as Sofia giggles.

“Just trying to put myself in Jals shoes” says Isla with an innocent smile, the twitching of her tail betraying her amusement.

The narration continues “We made it back to the Island of Storms just in time” says Jal “Lord Nincompoop was on the verge of selling everyone out to the Empire. We snuck in there, spoiled his plans and Sofia became ruler of all she surveyed (and hasn’t ever let anyone forget).” You glance over at Sofia, who is smiling, but her jaw is set a little stubbornly “Jal and I” she says “can discuss that one later.”

[Thread 18]

“Now I won’t bore you with details of the battle” says Jal “But when all the dust was settled almost all the people where safely on another plane and in the space of a day, Sireyi killed the Sorcerer, Ruler and the Warrior. And that’s why they call her the Demon-slayer.”

You grimace, Jal is leaving out the part where the Heroes of the Horn actually killed the Warrior, you used a magical superweapon to kill the Ruler, and you could only kill the Sorcerer because he was weakened from being trapped in a magical flame for hundreds of years, still the propaganda mill must be fed you suppose...

“With all the nobbers dead” says Jal “It was time to take Velya back her underwear, leaving Sireyi temporarily without, but I won’t bore you with the story about the short dress and the stormwind.”

“When did that happen?” asks Isla in confusion.

“It didn’t” you say “Jal is now just making things up.”

Below you, Jals story continues “Recognising her many good qualities, the King of Dornmer decides to elevate Sireyi to a Baroness.”

You smile despite the rather fresh pain of recent events, Sofia and Isla hug you, you console yourself with the knowledge that the people of Dalvin are still in safe hands.

“And showing that Sireyi has strange tastes in friends” continues Jal “She recruits a hell-dragon called Shahulzer.”

You hear a surprised bellow of laughter from the audience, yup, Shahulzer is down there.

“If only she had such varied tastes in the be-” says Jal before cursing, shuffling the papers in her hands “lost me place, where was I?”

[Thread 19]

“Righto” she picks up the story again “Sireyi learned that some plonker named Salvastis has her mum, yeah, you call that a boo” she harangues the crowd briefly and says “I said *Salvastis*” realising their cue the audience gives a long drawn out “boo!”

“That’s better” says Jal “But being a soul more caring of others, Sireyi doesn’t hop straight to Hell but spends her time helping out Jianxi first.”

“Now Jianxi” explains Jal “comes from somewhere called *Kugan* but din’ know it for a long time, and so Sireyi and ‘er go there ter find out about ‘er past. Of course, Jianxi, being a bit of a silly bint, walks straight inter a trap like a green pokey, and gets kidnapped.”
>>
An outraged yell from the audience tells you that Jianxi is in the house and objects to Jals characterisation of events. Whilst Jianxi did get ambushed it was by professional assassins, and you did manage to rescue her – she only got separated from you when you all got arrested on trumped-up charges. You wonder if you should intervene on behalf of Jianxi.

You let Jal continue, saying to Isla and Sofia “Jianxi can handle a joke or two.”

“Locked up in tha clink” says Jal “by ironshirts, will me luv never learn? Don’t trust the ironshirts.”

Sofia snorts “She does realise that as the ruler of Dalvin you *were* the law right?”

“I’m not sure I’d want to burden her with that knowledge” you say “I worry what she might do if we told her.”

“She breaks out only ter find little miss walks-into-traps gone” says Jal. You wonder if those two have some sort of professional rivalry you’re unaware of...

“Still, Sireyi is pretty good with the finger wiggling – and she’s a decent mage too. So she finds Jianxi and pays her a visit.”

[Thread 20]

“Jianxi” says Jal “Is apparently a member of a bunch of nobles in Kugan what serve their Emperor by being spies and assassins and such. Only they’ve got really daft ideas about things like proper manners and blood purity. They take a look at Jianxi – a smart, pretty young girl whats really good with knives and magic and all they can see is *babymaker* - dafties, the lot of them.”

“Aww” says Isla “she does like Jianxi.”

“So everything is smiles and hugs ter begin with” says Jal “But all the while, theys plotting. Once Sireyi finds out about their plans she gets everyone away and tells them what’s going on. Jianxi is understandably a little stabby, and convinces Sireyi ter take one last trip back to the village to teach them all a lesson.”

Jal is leaving out the part where you stole the clans tattoo magic secrets for Jianxi, still she’ll have given them back by now, after making a copy.

“Finally” continues the narration “Sireyi gets to her Barony” there’s that pang of phantom pain again “and straightaway dedicates her every waking moment to making it better.”

“Thanks Jal” you whisper. Isla and Sofia each take one of your hands in theirs and give a reassuring squeeze.
>>

Why couldn't Sireyi raise the red flag at that mention of the strip club? That didn't happen (regrettably).

“Now wi’ rumours of demon-worshippers in the realm” says Jal “She sets out ter get rid. And” Jal chuckles a bit at this “spends a whole evening pretending ter be someone else whilst debating with the cultists in lotsa detail about the sexual habits of *Baroness Sireyi* - now that’s what I call comedy. I dunno if the plan was to convince them not to kill her on account of she was too much fun, or if this was some advanced angel seduction technique.”

“That’s not how it happened” you protest “I was trying to keep them talking to get the young woman who was to be sacrificed out of there.”

Isla gives you a meaningful look and hands you the red flag.

You lean out and wave the flag, saying “That’s not how it happened!” though you’re not sue if Jal heard you.

Jal looks up, grins and adds “It was of course, just a distraction. Still, the story has become local legend and some accounts now include descriptions of her stripping on the sacrificial alter to spellbind the audience, I hear someone’s writing a play about it, I certainly don’t know who paid for that to happen.”

“Where others would look at ogres and see big nasty brutes what needs stabbin’” says Jal “Our luv sees people, people what can be reasoned with. It din’ take her long ter make friends of a whole group of ogres, and learn them how to mine for iron. Smart, likeable, and knows how ter make money – no wonder I like this gal.”

[Thread 21]

“And speaking of recruiting” says Jal “You can’t get ‘em every time. She talked a young silver dragon called Nicolvren ‘round but a red dragon named Harugard was kinda dumb, and thought he couldn’t be hurt. And so the Demonslayer proved she can kill dragons single-handedly too.”

“Now in the Barony there was a big spooky forest where folks keep going missing, exploring this forest Sireyi finds out that a bunch of fae and some werespiders are fighting over this place. She speaks ter both factions and the fae put a glamour on her to make her hate the spiders – long story short, it dun’ work and because Sireyi is so compassionate she doesn’t hold it against the fae and instead looks for a peaceful solution.”

[Thread 22]

“Part of the peace deal is that the werespiders leave the forest and that both groups get to send a representative to live in the keep, which is why we have a nymph sleeping her way through the whole army, and a spidergirl constantly trying to get into Matthias’ breeches.”
>>
A few outraged yells from the audience let you know that not everyone agrees with Jals summation, but the louder laughter lets you know most aren’t taking it seriously.

That's kind of a bad write-in.

Previous yells were things that sound normal but could be turned around or misconstrued, something that Sireyi might actually yell without thinking.

This one is just dumb, it deliberately avoids addressing the thing we might take umbrage to for the sole purpose of being misconstrued.

The thing we take umbrage with is the assumption we have a "thing" for elves, which prompts Sireyi to try to disprove it by saying Poppy is not an elf, which makes sense unless you want to interpret it lewd like Jal does.
But feel free to make a better one, its not stellar I freely admit, I mainly felt we should yell something, its not really red flag worthy.
>>

>Don’t interrupt

>>36606874
The red flag is a lower step than yelling, anon.

The implication that we have a thing for elves kind of relies on the implication that we were more than friends with Ophilian and Poppy to make sense.

Disproving only that we have a thing for elves makes it seem like Poppy/Ophilian being more than friends is true.

Nah, the flag is actually making yell herself change her story. Yelling is just giving our own input, when it comes to interrupting, yell is definitly the lower step.
>>
>>36606938
>makes it seem like Poppy/Ophilian being more than friends is true

For the current Sireyi it probably is. It’s the sort of mistake she’d have made before several years of contact with Jal and Sophia.

On the other hand she is embarrassed and might now think so well right now, so I won’t vote against it either.
>>
>>36607068
Yes, she simply forgets about denying both parts of the lewd implication in her desperate attempt to cut them down, and fumbles because the is flustered and didn't think her response thhrough. Again, thats the joke.
>>
You think about yelling that Poppy isn’t an elf, then catch yourself as you realise how that might be taken, instead you remain quiet.

“Now about this tme, a beasty-fella by the name of Gorrask was building an army in the Tribal Lands. In the interests of avoiding a long drawn out war, Sireyi starts investigating straightaway and recruits her own army of orcs and beastmen to face him. At the same time, she dusts off her box of magic and takes it with her.”

Yeah that wasn’t your finest moment, still, thank you Jal for not mentioning the Fivefold Death of Cities.

[Thread 23]

“The two armies face off and lots of Gorrasks troops fall – although they win the battle ya might say they lost the war, because after that Gorrask isn’t heard of again for a long time. But Sireyis magic box also goes missing.”

And the other 5 elemental nodes, as you recall.

“Gorrask” says Jal “thought he could win the battle because he had a great big artefact called the Pillar of Skulls, which summons demons. Now Sireyi picked that thing up and almost smashed it over her knee, but turns out Gorrasks demon-lord boss wanted a word with Sireyi and she had to fight him in a dream or something. Fat lot of good that did him, which just goes to show, no matter how big yer piller is lads, Sireyi can handle it.”

You sink down into your seat, glowing with embarrassment as the audience laughs.

You almost miss the next bit “A village in the Barony was abandoned” says Jal “On account of all the undead wandering around the place. We went in ter ‘ave a look and we found the shade of a priest of an evil god using an army of wraiths and ghost types to get at a wellspring of magic or something, and a necromancer called Johann using a bunch of skeletons to stop him.”
>>
[Thread 24]

“Well deaders can’t bone Sireyi” says Jal, “So that was cleaned up right quick, of course, As Sireyi and her former roomie-totally-not-her-first-elf-lover try ter clean out the wellspring of magic muck, Mr Johann tries ter interrupt, and trips over his own feet, silly bugger.”

“You saved the day” you yell from your seat. Jal acknowledges you with a nod “Yeah I mighta got in Johanns way” she admits “spoiled his aim or something, nothing much really and almost died fer it.”

“Anyway” Jal continues “With the wellspring changed to kick out feelings of love and peace, that was done.” She shuffles her notes, reads the next page and grins.

“Sireyi also went on a date with one of her fiancées” says Jal “Isla, ending the date by telling her she wants to be friends.”

[Thread 25]

“And just ter show what a good friends she is” says Jal “Sireyi doesn’t get mad at all when it turns out Isla had been lying to her about stuff and sending letters back to House Wendmore in Sireyis name.” Now it’s Islas turn to sink down in her seat out of embarrassment. You pat her hand reassuringly.

“So being all understanding” Jal continues “Sireyi makes a valuable magic item to buy out Isla’s marriage contract, meaning she owns Islas body outright.”

“Hey!” objects Isla as you and Sofia share a laugh “She doesn’t mean it” you reassure Isla, you think she doesn’t, anyway.

“Now you may recall” Jal says, as Isla folds her arms and sulks “That Sireyi had to slip the Fun Valyenya a little angel wing. Well she got a bit back in return, but didn’t do anything with it. Isla managed to talk her into sharing the love, one thing led to another and Isla became a demon-kin and Sireyi became a Saint. I’m not sure how that happened, but it did.”

“Sireyi also learned she could create angels” Jal mock-mumbles, loud enough for everyone to hear “Still trying ter persuade her that Angels of Love need more numbers, yeah.”
>>
“Now the King” says Jal, getting back to the story “Says it’s time ter go to the Drowned Lands, for riches and glory and knowledge, but mostly riches. So Sireyi joins the expedition, with Isla going along, it’s on the ship that Isla and Sireyi finally stop dancing around the issue and Isla gives her the tip of the tail.” Jal looks at the mostly silent audience “Oh c’mon, that’s a sex joke, nothing?”

“I didn’t have the tail then” pouts Isla. You recall that the two of you didn’t do much more than kiss at that point either.

You decide not to interrupt, you’re not sure what you could say to that without making things worse.

[Thread 26]

“Arriving at the Drowned Lands” says Jal “Sireyi and friends had the misfortune to be under command of one Gustas Garrond, yeah, That Guy. Still, she managed to get away from him by leading an expedition into the jungle and finding an old ruin guarded by some machines made by the Necromancer-Kings. She made short work of that hunk of junk.”

[Thread 27]

“Now the jungle also had a bunch of catlike natives” says Jal “Who thought anyone tampering with old junk was trespassing or some such, and so straight from one fight, Sireyi finds herself in another battle, fighting not just the catfolk, but the trees as well. In that fight” Jals voice loses its familiar jaunty tone and becomes slower, more serious “Isla almost dies.”

Thread 28

“Not wanting to lose Isla” says Jal “Sireyi put a little angel inside her.”

As Isla grabs for the red flag Jal chuckles and says “I mean, Sireyi turns her into a part angel, the other thing...we’ll see. Now Sireyi and the expedition investigate another ruin in which there was a horrible-looking bug-guy called the Highest who claimed to be a servant of the Necromancer-Kings only he called them the Lords of Life. He didn’t die easy, but he still couldn’t beat Sireyi.”

[Thread 29]

“Almost forgot” says Jal “Whilst on the voyage, Sireyi had a chat with everyone ‘bout her being a Goddess. But what has she forgotten to do? Yes that’s right, no Holy Book. Fortunately, she don’t have ter do everything herself, she has friends and allies for that.”
Jal pulls a thin file out from under her script “I’ve got here” she says “Me first draft *The Gospel According to Jal*, for the Holy Book of Sireyi, I’d like ter read yer a few bits and hear yer thoughts, if yer don’t mind. Won’t take but a moment, and then we’ll be on with the play.”

This quest doesn't exist for your sexual satisfaction, anon.

It exists for Jal's sexual satisfaction. I use turn off similarly to disappointing, so I was being redundant there.

Jal keeps shooting looks at your box, but with no red flag forthcoming she takes a breath and begins to read “This is the Gospel according to Jal. Doing what your Goddess tells you is a good idea, most of the time, sometimes you need to disobey and do what she needs you to do, even if you get punished for it. Footnotes: Even in the bedroom; even if she punishes you for it; punishments can be fun.”

“If you seek to emulate your Goddess in your personal life, you should practice how to give a cute little squeak when someone slips you the tongue. How are you to sqeak when kissing someone? I never said the tongue was slipped there now, did I.”

“The Goddess loves you and will forgive you when you screw up, especially if you do so in an entertaining way.”

“Be kind to one another, it’s not hard.”

“A succubus is fine too.”

“Be patient with one another, it’s worth it.”

“Children are a treasure, and a great source of funny comments.”

“If the Goddess is blushing, you’re doing it right, keep doing it.”

“If the Goddess isn’t blushing, you need to raise your game.”

“Hugs are lovely, and a great opportunity.”

“The Goddess might get tied up from time to time, accept that she won’t always be there to help you, sometimes you need to solve your own problems. If you really need help, remember that High Priestess Jal can untie her for you, if you ask nicely.”

“Don’t try to hurt the Goddess, I’d hate to have to wash your blood out of my good clothes.”

“To know Sireyi is to love her, but get to the back of the line ok, I was here before you.”

“She’s too kind to hold a grudge, I’m not.”

“The best place to honour the Goddess is on your knees, a prayer is good too.”

As Jal speaks you start to blush, until blood pounds in your ears, fortunately the audiences cheers, suggestions and laughter drown out some of the wilder parts of her *Gospel*.
>>
Jal swaps her *holy book* for the script again and continues “Now in addition to catfolk, there was also elves in the Drowned Lands, but not the fund kind of elves” she clarifies “crazy jungle elves. When the expedition tried to take a partially submerged city that they expected to hold a lot of loot, the elves lured Sireyi into a trap, and she drowned, ironic considering where she was. but” adds Jal quickly “she’s a goddess remember – hard to kill? This don’t kill her, she just goes ter sleep for a little while.”

[Thread 30]

“Meanwhile” says Jal “The Hot Librarian, I mean, uh, Isla, searches for Sireyi, despite the best efforts of Gustas’ thugs to get underfoot. She encounters some old lich-guy who explains about the Lords of Life and she takes a little light reading with her.” Jal conveniently glosses over the Tomes Isla recovered.

[Thread 31]

“Finally Isla finds Sireyi, trapped in a glass tank of seawater, and looming over her the slumbering Lord of Life. Now dead-guy says if Sireyi dies the big bad monster goes back to sleep. Isla certainly ain’t dumb enough to fall for that and tries to free Sireyi. By this spot the Lord of Life has awoken and uses his magic to create doubles of those present, including Sireyi. Now Sireyi is a kind and sweet and gentle soul, so you’d be forgiven if you forgot how much power she has.” Jal lowers her script and looks out over the audience “But don’t cross her, ever, I’m not kidding. Her double proceeds to wreak complete havoc in seconds, and Sireyi and her allies barely escape alive.”

“Most of the doubles stay behind” says Jal “But Sireyis double decides ter follow.” She lowers her script again “Now two Sireyis are better than one, and its better to make love than war, so I have a few suggestions for peacemaking, but I’ll talk to them about that later, in private.”
>>
[Thread 32]

Jal turns the page, and her posture changes from teasing, to angry, her hands balling into fists and crumpling the edges of the script “Now some people” she says darkly “deserve the fates they get. Like kidnappers of kids, an old foe from me luvs past took Vivi and Mili”.

Sofia leans forward “I hope she does that mock execution she wrote” she says fiercely.

Ibram was actually killed by your double, Jal and Sofia never got their hands on him. Still it’s fairly harmless to let Jal live out her fantasy, or should you keep the record straight?

Jianxi and Mathias have each other. Poppy and Philly have their churches. Who else is there?

>>
>>36608640

The chapter of Sireyi dating anyone is pretty much closed, and we enter nuptial bliss.
>>
>>36608648
Jianxi and Matthias were both hot for Sireyi, it was players' sexual insecurity that prevented a relationship with Matthias. I think it's also roadblocking the Bokin route, seriously, we just have to help him with that coming of age ceremony and then we can romance him.
>>
>>36608709

Too late to romance Bokin now, though I can't understand why not help him with the test like we promise to.
>>
>>36608709
I don't want to romance him but I do want to help him with his ceremony. Hope it's something we do during the time skip.
>>
>>36608709
Sure anon, everyone elses sexual insecurity is at fault for your waifus/husbandos not winning. Its not the characters developing or people having different taste.
>>
Eh, who am I kidding? I stopped reading this quest when Miss "Has a crush on Sireyi and is generally boring in every other regard" was made a priority.
>>
>>36608732
how long has it been since we made that promise?
>>
>>36608756

A few in game years now.
>>
>>36608709
I don't recall anything relating to the player's sexual insecurity preventing an event from happening.

Bokin isn't a romance option. It wouldn't make sense in-character and we're already locked out of more romance (thankfully).

We're still within the time limit.

>>
>>36608751
Why else would players miss out of hot angel/werewolf action and best girl other than "Ewww, dicks!"
>>
>>36608793
Because not everyone likes werewolves?
Or not everyone found Matthias and Sireyi make a good romantic match and don't take "muh dick" as a metric for relationship potential?
>>
>>36608793
I'm sorry anon that I didn't share you cock addiction to such an extent that the presence of one automatically makes a character a interesting love interest to me.

Get over it.
It kinda surprises me someone decides to be salty about it after ~30 threads.

It's not that the dick is appealing, it's that the dick is some sort of romance repellant to players.

You don’t know whether to laugh, be charmed, or object about Jals Gospel, either way you keep silent for now.

“Ibram died too clean” says Jal “I woulda taken my time with him, but I know Sireyi wouldn’t approve, so that’s all I’m sayin’.”

“With Vivi and Mili safely back, and Ibram definitely dead” Jal gets back on track “All was right with the world.”

[Thread 33]

“Of course this was a perfect time to go and get Sireyis magic box back” says Jal “This was back when the King was feeling helpful, so we had royal mages and soldiers with us. Mostly things went ok, except for everything going wrong. If I recall correctly Isla had a moment and decided 12 tons of squid was an ideal plaything” Isla shrinks into her chair as you squeeze her hand in support “That was a scary day for me” she says.

“I know” you respond “You know Jal doesn’t mean anything by it.”

“I know” she says with a sigh “still, not my finest moment.”

“And Matthias got slammed into the ground my a huge fleshy column.” Jal pauses, and then wonders out loud “Jianxi how did your erotic novel get mixed up with my script?”

From down below comes Jianxis denial, mixed in with her laughing.

You recall how close a number of your allies came to dying when you retrieved the Elemental Nodes.

[Thread 34]

“Whilst Sireyi was away in the Drowned Lands” says Jal “Five nearby Barons objected to her her, treating peasants like people, and demanded she stop. Fortunately a little diplomacy sorted barons D’rough, Mcliein, Carteer, Rikard and Letrall out.”

Don't click the picture unless you want to find out how poor the QMs taste truly is.
>>
>>36608899

Ah, you mean the /u/boating that is so strong in /tg/?
>>
>>36608899
Since that was never a point raised by anyone, I have to blame that assumption on your insecurities anon. Especially since several people said Matthias would have been a viable love interest if Jianxi wouldn't have called dibs.
>>
>>36608793
None of us voted against pursuing Matthias or spoke against the idea at any time, as far as I can recall. That wouldn't even be a reason to not pursue Jianxi.

The reason nobody voted to romance him is because we wound up in Drache for a significant period of time, resulting in him and Jianxi getting into some kind of mutual crush relationship before we got back.

Jianxi probably wouldn't be comfortable with a three-way relationship and that it might be a bit strange for Sireyi to be romantically aggressive like that, hence why players voted against pursuing them.
>>
Once again, Jal gets sombre “Sireyi lost her father around this time” she says “I din’ know him, but he din’ seem a bad sort, eaten away by a demon parasite he was, horrible way ter go.”

You screw up your eyes and you’re back underground, Jal screaming as she begs you to help, you hold her down as knives cut into her- no, NO. You put the images out of your mind and focus on what Jal is saying.

“Baron Valyenya died listening to his daughter singing to him. He will be mourned.”

[Thread 35]

“Mili and Vivi” says Jal, lightening the mood a little “Are lovely bundles of joy, even when their weird magical powers are running wild, it’s at this point we found out both are gonna have some advantages in life, seems Vivi could turn out to be quite the sorcerer, and Mili is a natural to be a paladin.”

[Thread 36]

“Some folk” say Jal “aren’t so blessed, they want kids, but can’t ‘ave ‘em, the followers of Velya help out where they can. Some folk asked Sireyi to bless ‘em with little angels, but that has too many risks, sorry folks.”

[Thread 37]

“Ah” says Jal, leafing through her script “yes, the other Sireyi had been watching and waiting, and now she decided to use her magic to create another Sofia – not another Isla or Jal, just another Sofia.”

“Is she still unhappy about that?” you ask, turning to Isla, who gives you a tight smile, maybe Jal isn’t the only one who is not forgetting that.

For me it was a lot of things coming together in Drache, it would have been out-of-character for Sireyi to not support Jianxis "ambition", and Jianxi had insecurities regarding Sireyi that made me uncomfortable considering a three-way relathionship there, then there was Sofia and Jal being pregnant, Isla having signaled very clear romatnic interest in difference to all the others, and Sireyi having shown absolutely no romantic consideration for either of Jianxi nor Matthias.

>>
>>36609182
>Love just happens out of circumstance, pity, and obligation?
Not at all. I don't see where you get pity and obligation from.
But yes, obviously love happens through circumstances, or at least circumstances make it so that love can develop.
That should be fairly obvious.
>>
>>36609182
Relationships and love have nothing to do with opportunity?
Of course they do.
>>
You don’t interrupt Jal, but you do say to Isla “There is still another Isla out there, and neither of us will abandon her.”

“Yeah” she agrees, but hesitantly, as if she’s not too enamoured of the idea. Sofia nods in agreement.

“A Goddess needs worshippers” says Jal “And needing a little power boost before going to Hell, Sireyi started recruiting, in Drache and on her home plane.
“She also took the opportunity” says Jal “To deal with a loose end, the Fate-Eater Hanadrirac had been making trouble for Ellahi Valyenya. When we came to visit she asked Sireyi to look into it. He tried to get her to trade away some of her allies fates but she banished him instead.”

You still wonder what Hanadrirac was trying to accomplish, but given his threats to kill your children, it probably had something to do with that.

[Thread 38]

“To boost Sireyis powers, a hundred or so of Velyas angels swore to her service, they all had fond memories of her mother.” Jal continues the story “At this time, Gorrask the beastman warlord resurfaced and challenged Sireyi to a duel. I don’t think anyone is going to miss that dumbass.”

“We also discovered that a bunch of dragons under a very old dragon called Ryzan wanted Sireyi dead for some reason. We tracked one dragon, Shaljurst a sibling of Hargard to her lair but when we got there she was dead, and had been animated as a zombie. A short fight later and we were examining the place for clues.”

[Thread 39]

“Isla found out about the existence of Sireyis double, and took a little convincing that Sireyi was the real deal.”

You recall Isla trapping you with a spell until you convinced her. Isla shrinks into her seat a little.

“We also found out that another of the dragons, Cravgur an ancient white dragon had a history with the Church of Konig, and that the tales of heroism of their paladins were not the whole truth. In return for setting the record straight, Cravgur said he would withdraw from the dragons flight against Sireyi.”
>>
[Thread 40]

Jal turns over the next page and grins “Now” she says “seeing as we were getting married, we decided to get matching tattoos – Sireyi, want to show them what I picked out for you?”

Sofia and Isla burst out laughing as you blush, no way are you showing everyone the hand-print tattoo on your rear.

Jal is of course neglecting to mention that your tattoos provide proof of your identity to one another.

tied, defaulting to not interrupting

You struggle with this one, half raising the flag, until it becomes obvious Jal isn’t going to have your on-stage double take her clothes off, and nor is Jal. Eventually you decide to let her continue.

“At this point” says Jal “The two Sireyis met, as different as night and day, they still shared a common goal: defeat the Lord of Life.”

[Thread 41]

“Nothing much happened after that” says Jal “moving right along-”

Sofia grabs the red flag and gives it a furious wave.

“Ah yes” says Jal, as if she suddenly recalled “I visited the Thieves Guild in Dalvin and picked up a fleshwou-” Sofia waves the flag again.

“I got stabbed” says Jal, her shoulders slumping in defeat “I was lucky to get back ter the castle in time for me best girl to save me life, I take her fer granted and I don’t deserve her.” By this point Sofia has stopped waving the flag and looks like she either wants to scold Jal, or kiss her.

“So it turns out” Jal continues “That Ryzan had a little boost from one of the dragon gods, and he wanted more – hence his pursuit of Sireyi. And he was a dracolich, so finding his phylactery was a priority. Eventually we found it and in the battle with Ryzan he came off second best.” Jal adds “And I helped beat him.”

[Thread 42]

Jal reads her notes carefully and says “Isla you’re a nerd, I’m not reading all of this. To summarise, Isla and Sireyi found out about making magical items, it’s very technical and boring.”

Isla fold her arms and pouts “It was a very well-researched summation of the process” she says “Jal has no right to-”

“I’ll read it thoroughly” you promise, eager to head off any budding marital disputes.

“Also at this time” says Jal “The other Sireyi started conquering orc and beastmen tribes, good for her.”
>>
>>36609774
There are easily 4-5 people at least in this thread that have made dozens of saving throws by now, because it been over 50 threads, they've been here for all of them.
>>
[Thread 43]

“Young dragons get urges sometimes” says Jal, a quiet titter runs through the audience “Get yer minds outta tha gutter” she yells in mock anger “I mean fer gold and a lair. Sireyi and Ebonsong decided ter find her a lair, and they did. Now the death-giants or whatever they were invading from another plane? I’m sure that’s going to be a problem later.”

[Thread 44]

“The two Sireyis” say Jal “were willing to work towards a common goal, but still didn’t see eye-to-eye. If I knew how much repressed tension there was there, I’d have offered to get between them to help them work it out in a healthy manner. As it was they had a bit of an argument. They both tried ter use their powers to redeem and dominate and hey!” Jal cuts off her narration and says “Hey blue, yeah you know who you are, you don’t get to dominate Sireyi!” you hear Jal mutter as an afterthought “S’my job.”

Wait did she just...?

Fun though it may be, this version is so abridged that you're handicapping yourself.

And there is not a lot that can't be intzeracted with. Its this specific issue that has clear guidelines because it has a tendency to derail and crash threads. We gotten through over 50 threads mostly avoiding any kind of waifu warring and romance shitstorms, and are very glad for that.
I'm absurdly happy we actually managed to keep our character herself by following through on firm convictions she has.
And we are not going to jeopardize that just because you want to fuck a different waifu/husbando.
And accusing others of the "quest for pussy" after stirring shit about not getting the pussy/cock you wanted is kinda dumb, I hope you realise.
>>
>>36610122
>and I don't like how so much is unable to be interacted with under the logic that
Thats simply wrong, there is only few things that Sireyi does not budge on through a singular choice. Character development is not a justification for making a character act completly different from one moment to the next.
You just happen to be salty about one of the most rigid of her character traits getting in the way of your fapping.

You wave the red flag, no one controls you!

Jal notices and adds “Oh yeah, I mean, mine and Isla and Sofia’s job” You smack your empty hand into your face as the audience laughs.

“Having lost at the battle of handshakes, the other Sireyi didn’t take it well, she kinda melted a little” Jal pulls a face “And then she turned into the sexy-looking blue demon she is today. It turns out the Lord of Life had put some sort of magical trap inside her because he turned up there and then – or at least his illusionary head did, until Sireyi kicked him back to where he came from using her powers.

[Thread 45]

“The King wrote a letter to everyone important” says Jal “saying that Sireyi was a Saint, and that she was very important, kinda ironic considering what happened, but hey, it’s the thought that counts, right?”

[Thread 46]

“When going on any long trip” says Jal “you need to plan carefully, especially when going to Hell, we spent a lot of time talking about what to do once we got there, and what to do if we found people that needed rescuing from Hell.”

[Thread 47]

“The Lord of Life” says Jal “has released some sort of extra-powerful ice-elemental and it decided to make its power felt by making winter especially harsh and long. Sireyi tried to put the magic whammy on it, but it hit back hard, turning her, Ebonsong and Isla into icicles.” She continues in a subdued tone “Yeah, they both actually died, fortunately Sireyi is who she is and she bought them both back, but I owe the frosty prick some pain for that, Ebonsong is like a little sister and the nerd has grown on me.”

Isla pouts at being called a nerd again, Sofia leans across and says “she’s just trying to hide how much she actually likes you, trust me on this.”

“Ok” Isla relaxes a little.

[Thread 48]

“What’s better than a sexy Goddess?” asks Jal “That’s right, two sexy Goddesses. The two Sireyis agreed to share their godhood or something. I don’t really get it but they’re both a Goddess each now.”

You bite your lip to avoid laughing, Jal still hasn’t grasped that you are the Goddess, your double is your avatar, though you present yourselves as twin Goddesses, and that you are worshipped by the orcs and beastmen she rules, with her representing the more forceful, warlike aspect, and you the more peaceful and kinder side.

[Thread 49]

“Finally we got to it” says Jal “the two Sireyis, Ebonsong and who else? Yup, you guessed it, me – we all went to Hell to rescue Sireyis mother. The first order of business was rescuing a bunch of succubi under attack from other demons. Do you know they eat succubi is Hell? That’s mad!”

“Anyway turns out the demons were hunting an escaped spy, who gave us a lot of good info on Salvastis’” the audience boos on cue, Jal grins “yeah, on His fortress. Anyway the road there was long and mostly underground. I don’t remember much of it because I picked up some hell-bug.”

And it’s probably for the best that Jal doesn’t remember that...still, she is leaving out the bit with the dwarves in Hell.

You force the unpleasant memories away, you don’t even want to think about that, let alone talk about it. Sofia and Isla notice you tensing up, and both squeeze your hands in support. On stage, Jal continues.

[Thread 50]

“We broke into Salvastis’ fortress and freed Syderis, who didn’t really recognise her own daughter and there was a very tense moment when someone almost got beheaded, but fortunately Sireyi was able to calm her down. Now Angelmum wasn’t the only inmate; a lot of high-ranking demons who had challenged Salvastis” the audience boos on cue “Were also held there. Proving that both Sireyis can be pretty diplomatic when they want to be” says Jal “they convinced the demons to join them until Salvastis was dead.”

“Battle was joined atop the fortress as rockmen rained down. Tricky as Salvastis was, Sireyi saw through every strategy he had.”

You smile a little at that, you saw some of them, others you just got lucky with.

[Thread 51]

“Out of Hell” Jal continues with a smile “Sireyi spent time catching up with Angelmum, and introducing her to the family. A happy time for everyone.”

“But it didn’t last” says Jal, her smile fading “His most Royal Stubborness decided that Sireyi had gone too far in offering a home to the succubi.”

[Thread 52]

“Sireyi was bound in chains” says Jal “And I was nowhere near her, how did that happen? Anyway, even clinked up, my luv can’t be stopped so easily. She got away, and met the not-quite-ruler of the succubi, Queen Vilyeten. A deal was decided, and Sireyi is on course to become queen of the succubi? Empress?”

“Before that is made real o’ course” says Jal “A deal had to be struck with the King. Pushed around by his nobles – so scared of demons, His Majesty din’ have much room ter manoeuvre, so Sireyi and Sofia took the case to Konig and he agreed to support the deal with the King.” Jal tactfully leaves out the part about Milerna going for paladin training in return.
>>
[Thread 53]

“Sireyi has stepped down as Baroness” says Jal “And Sofia has stepped up. Something like a million or more succubi will soon begin arriving in the Tribal Lands, just outside of Dornmers borders, after that, who knows what will happen?”

The curtains close and all but one of the lights die out, leaving just Jal illuminated on stage.

“What’s going to happen after this?” asks Jal “I wish I could tell you, all I know is, we’re getting married tomorrow.”

---

And with that I end the thread. I will run the rest of the evening out and the wedding in a new thread in just over 10 hours. I’ve decided I want to keep the summary thread separate from other events, and it’s very late here. That you for reading, and I hope to see you soon. I apologise for changing plans on such short notice.

I won’t be hanging around for questions, but feel free to dump them in thread – I will check tomorrow.

I hope this thread, formulaic as it was, provided some entertainment.
>>
>>36610754
It was very entertaining, especially for a recap, who tend not to be.
Thanks for running once again, and see you in 10 hours.

As a note for tommorow. Two things to be decided.

Sireyi, if they want to live forever.

>>
>>36610851
Sofia and Isla, I already know its going to be a fight to have Isla be pregnant and not Sireyi.
Maybe make Sofias new kid a mix of Sireyi and Jal.
Of course, to the immortality.
>>
>>36610897
Technically they will anyway, since this setting has a afterlife they would enter.
And if they get tired of the mortal coil itself, they can always come into our heaven.

See, now you've spoiled the surprise.

Yes that's what we'll be voting on tomorrow, after the wedding.
>>
>>36610928
This setting's afterlife has reincarnation as a part of it.

>>36610907
Explain why you don't want Sireyi to be a mother?

I'm assuming we'll deal with the Killing Frost and other such threats before any decision about kids, for the sake of avoiding bias, if that's your concern.

I'm hoping that if we choose for Sireyi to have kids, we don't choose the father. Instead, Sireyi uses RoAL while 'distracted' by her wives and each of them are the 'father' of one of the triplets.
>>
>>36610754

Thanks for the thread OP. Was very... unusual. Enjoyable though.

Keep up the good work!
>>
>>36610986
We will definitly decide the child issue before the Killing Frost, because it will be in the wedding night.
And yes, that kind of thing is exactly why I don't want Sireyi to be pregnant right now.
Of course, when she will get pregnant some day, we will definitly use Root of all Life to make her pregnant from all three.
>>
>>36610986
>I'm assuming we'll deal with the Killing Frost and other such threats before any decision about kids
You assume wrong.
We promised kids and wedding before any dealing with the Killing Frost. We already had the option of doing the Frost first, and we decided not to.
>>
>>36611027
>>36611045
Then fuck it, Killing Frost can chew on it for a month.
>>
>>36610986
>Explain why you don't want Sireyi to be a mother?
I actually very much want her to. But, and you might find that odd, I don't want her to have to rush it with her powers. I want her to have the opportunity to go through the full nine months, because I think Sireyi would prefer that.
And that is too risky at the moment, and I see no reason why she would need to be mother herself right now instead of later.
She still has a lot of time.
>>
>>36611081
I see no reason for that kind of haste and anxiety of something possibly bad happening while she is pregnant.
In that month we will have to deal with building a nation and getting milions of succubi to live and work together.
Sireyi can get pregnant whenever she wants, there is no reason to do it now.
>>
>>36611081
Possibly not, or something else might come up.
I prefer to keep Sireyi unburdened so she can protect her wives so they can be free of such worries.
One of these days we will have a time in which we don't have any pressing issues, and then Sireyi can enjoy being mother herself.
But right now, she has duties.
>>
>>36611203
>>36611143
Wasn't seriously planning on voting for it given the change in circumstance, just mad that the Killing Frost is still alive and interfering with things.

Kill him forever.
>>
>>36610175
>The recap isn't a total recap, it's like reading the chapter summaries for each part of the archives and saying you're caught up.
Then Pally fails at recapping if this won't catch people up.

>>36610186
I'm not saying we should retcon anything, just that we could make an effort instead of feeling limited. Isla's origins were also "That wizard chick who has a crush on Sireyi." Players picked her because "Hey, free lesbian waifu. Fallin' right into our lap. We didn't even have to try, just had to ask for her to join the party."

>>36610265
What fapping? There is little to no smut in this quest. I just want to romance my favorites. It could even still be allowed if that rigid limiter can be worn away.
>>
>>36611854
>I just want to romance my favorites.
Well, you came to late to the party. Tough luck, happens to all of us sometimes.
Having Sireyi romance +X many people after already having 3 wives, is just silly considering how much emphasis she puts on having a deep and meaningful relationship.
Those limits exist because they are what the character believes in, could that be changed over another two dozen threads of character development? Maybe. But no one made any effort in that direction so far, so its not gonna happen.
I know its a thing on /tg/ to consider the MC your personal gratification tool more than a character, but its not supposed to be like that. She has a personality, which shouldn't be changed around just so you can get your waifu.

And your pathetic attempts at insinuating "lower motivations" on part of the people who liked Isla is hilarious considering the shit you are stirring over not getting your waifu.
>>
>>36611854
>Players picked her because
Or people picked her because they liked the character and found she had a good chemistry with Sireyi.
But I guess you didn't want the obvious get int he way of your inane whining.
>>
>>36612085
>They liked her because she had 'chemistry' with Sireyi.
That's picking her because she's a lesbian waifu. I'm not going to say she shouldn't exist or that her relationship should be annulled, just that she's boring and founded on shallow grounds of "Lesbian love interest character who ALSO don't wanna get married, except to you~"

>>36612062
I was there when Pally could have let Sireyi be free to romance everybody, and then he said "4 max." And then people said, "Eeehhhh, Jianxi and Matthias have each other, let's go date that other chick who we've had like three conversations with in quest because she has a crush on us." It isn't a matter of lateness, only players being forced down routes because the others have been snatched away due to people's laziness.
>>
>>36612429
>just that she's boring
I think you need to start realising that your opnion is not a universal truth. People have different tastes.
I for one found Matthias far more boring than Isla.
>>
>>36612429
>, "Eeehhhh, Jianxi and Matthias have each other, let's go date that other chick who we've had like three conversations with in quest because she has a crush on us."
Considering that we romanced Jal and Sofia first, thats obviously bullshit.
And I was there for that thread too, I spend most of it trying to argue against all romance.
>>
>>36612609
Yeah. But he and Jianxi are an item. Maybe Sireyi could have done something to win Jianxi's favor back when she got back. Oh well.
>>
>>36612715
But why would we want to? Jianxi had pretty obviously severe issues in regards to Sireyi, there was no reason at all for Sireyi to pursue her under those circumstances, and more importantly, Sireyi is not and has never been romantically agressive.
It would have required extensive character development for her to even consider going after someone that isn't showing obvious romantic intentions for her.
Not to mention there was no reason for Sireyi to reject Isla either, since they got a long very well, had things in common, and were still different enough to have aspects the other could appreciate them for.
Thats as good a basis for trying a romantic relationship as you are likely to get, short of falling head over heel on first sight for someone, which hasn't happened to Sireyi.
>>
>>36612662
Yeah, that's not really fair of me. We had five conversations with her, and then people decided to date.
>>
>>36612810
We spent a large part of our journey to get the Horn talking to Isla. She was by far the companion we interacted the most with.
>>
>>36612804
Just because something's a precedent doesn't make it a rule. There's no reason she can't be aggressive when it comes to love. Besides, trying to woo Jianxi would be a rocky road. A rocky road that would be hard to walk down. And Sireyi would walk hard.
>>
>>36612810
Are you seriously trying to pretend now we had more interaction with Jianxi, let alone Matthias, then with Isla?
I'm starting to doubt your claim about having read the earlier threads, because thats ridiculous even for your shown level of butthurt.
>>
>>36612937
>There's no reason she can't be aggressive when it comes to love.
There was, the reason was that she just isn't a person like that. Simple as that. She personality wise, simply isn't romantically agressive. She could have become, but she didn't.
>>
>>36612942
Are you claiming that Jianxi had any real interest in us, unlike Isla?
>>
>>36612873
We had two dream conversations with her. Unless Sireyi decided to play favorites for some reason and not speak with Jianxi and Matthias in dreams again. Hmmm, the bud should have been nipped as early as back then for a Jianxi route to grow...
>>
>>36612991
What? We talked to Isla in person. You know, while we were hunting the Horn through the lands, on the boat journey, and dealing with the werewolves and Gorim.
Seriously, now I know you didn't read the earlier threads if you think the quest started in Drache.

>>36612979
Jianxi had a vague maybe cursh on us. Possibly. It was never really clear if it was just jealousy or what, although I think if we would have tried to date her, it would have turned into something serious simply because there was no reason for Pally to nip it.
>>
>>36612979
I have no idea what you are trying to say here.
>>
>>36612942
Yes. We had far more interactions with her. There was:
>Recruitment (Free Space)
>Interrogating that murderer
>Talking with her about her past
>"Hey feathertits, let's NOT be strippers."
>Boat argument with Isla and Sireyi and reconciliation
>Helping her look for past clues while we overthrow that King
>Jianxi sneaking in the Secret Police Chief's house while Sireyi distracts the guards
>But I don't want to be a slave!

With Isla it was:
>Recruitment (Free Space)
>Magic Missile
>Let's have a flashback!
>Magic Missile
>You're gonna mop this boat till it shines.
>Magic Missile
>I don't like Jianxi!
>Fireballs
>Oh shit, my crush fell into an inter-dimensional portal
>>
>>36611854
>Then Pally fails at recapping if this won't catch people up.
Yeah, this was just supposed to be something fun, no idea why he decided it was a recap. There's too much information in the archives for anyone reading the recap to be able to contribute and make an informed opinion without also reading the archives.

>Players picked her because
You can't possibly know why they picked her unless you read the archives, which you've already stated that you haven't, not in full.

>It could even still be allowed if that rigid limiter can be worn away.
That's never happening. The whole point of the limiter is that it can't be worn away like that.

>>36612429
>>They liked her because she had chemistry with Sireyi.
>That's picking her because she's a lesbian waifu.
Well, by that logic, them picking Jianxi would also just be picking her because she's a lesbian waifu.

>I was there when Pally could have let Sireyi be free to romance everybody, and then he said "4 max." And then people said, "Eeehhhh
And thank god for that, since it preempted people like you.

>"Eeehhhh, Jianxi and Matthias have each other, let's go date that other chick who we've had like three conversations with in quest because she has a crush on us."
Yeah, we had no reason to butt into their relationship and the entire point of dating someone is to get to know them better.

> It isn't a matter of lateness, only players being forced down routes because the others have been snatched away due to people's laziness.
...You mean the routes those players chose?

Maybe they didn't chase your waifu because they didn't want to romance her, or they didn't want to rush into a romance early in the quest while on a mission.
>>
>>36613189
I'm not even gonna bother linking how wrong you are, if I can just point at the
Loyalty 6
In Jianxis charsheet and point out how Isla had more even by the time we entered Drache.
>>
>>36613274
That's because Isla is easy.
>>
>>36613189
>Look how I can make incomplete lists with meaningless entries
>>
>>36613305
No, its because Isla was pleasant to interact with for Sireyi.
Which seems like a pretty solid requirement for romantic interest to develope.
>>
>>36613313
That's every time Sireyi was in the same room/area with those two, having moments with them. I gave Isla a handicap by including the times she was helpful during combat.
>>
>>36613209
If I could, I would carry Autism Anons babies out of gratitude for that "saving herself for marriage" thing.
Saved the quest right there.
>>
>>36613334
Ha! Wrong, romance is a fire, and to have fire, you must first have friction. If you pursue in rubbing that friction the right way, a blaze will form. That could have been Sireyi and Jianxi.

Isla and Sireyi is more similar to pouring water on some ice.
>>
>>36613361
It still doesn't actually give any account nor impression of the emotional impact these interactions had on Sireyi, let alone how pleasent she found the characters in question.
And Jianxi was not very pleasent company for Sireyi, which oesn't prevent romance, but definitly works against it.
>>
>>36613458
Oh, so just because Jianxi isn't going to praise and fawn over Sireyi like Isla does makes her less pleasant company? Sireyi was also prying into her private business.
>>
>>36613444
>My tastes are the characters tastes
This is your problem, you like Jianxi, but you have yet to give a reason for why Sireyi would be interested in her romantically.
Jianxi was as abrasive as she could be towards Sireyi for pretty much the entire time, there wasn't even a hint of romantic interest on her side, it was a struggle to get her to be pleasent at all.
So interaction with Isla was simply more pleasent for Sireyi, whichz made her favorably predisposed to consider her advances.
While Jianxi never actually made any advances, and Sireyi had no reason to make any herself. And it would have required extensive character development before Sireyi could have acted that aggressive towards someone she has shown no romantic interest in before.
>>
>>36613555
Jianxis self-esteem issues were not Sireyis fault.
And definitly a reason not to attempt a relationship with her.
>>
>>36613361
>Boat argument with Isla and Sireyi and reconciliation
>But I don't want to be a slave!
These both included Isla. The latter also ended poorly in regards to Sireyi and Jianxi's friendship, she was quite mad.

>Jianxi sneaking in the Secret Police Chief's house while Sireyi distracts the guards
I don't see how this is an interaction with her any more than it was one with Isla.

You forgot us talking to Isla about her past, talking with Isla about how she needs glasses, going shopping for glasses with Isla, probably at least one or two more I'm forgetting.

>>36613444
Sireyi's preference for the dynamic in a romantic relationship and yours might not match up, anon.

You didn't even know what dating was for, I doubt you're in a position to give a lecture on romance.
>>
>>36613555
It was not only that, as you should know if you read those parts, and someone being abrasive towards you definitly makes you less interested in romance with that person.
Especially if that person shows no such interest of their own.
>>
>>36613444
Not every romance needs to have the same dynamic. People are different, and have therefore different sorts of relationships.
>>
>>36613593
Dating is something to be skipped over so Sireyi can get back to whacking things with her halberd. This is a Paladin quest, not a Casaniva quest.
>>
>>36613659
>Romance is not relevant to a quest about a Paladin of the Goddess of love
I mean, I was against romance for Sireyi, but saying she shouldn't deal with it at all, and should only ever fight things all day, is pretty stupid.
>>
>>36613659
So you're counter-argument as to why we should've gone after your waifu...is that we should've spent all our time fighting instead of pursuing romance?
