You’re about to respond when a table appears with a flash, Bossman William is sitting at the head of the table and gestures for you all to sit around, “Sorry for the delay, a pain had decided to show up and it was difficult to get rid of her.”

The wolf girl sits near the head of the table, “Should have just bailed, quick escape is always the best way.”

The mostly transparent girl had the misfortune to be where the table landed and you’re pretty sure shes could cold judging from the lack of movement. The slime girl who wasn’t far from her seems to be pretty okay though and helps the unlucky girl into a chair only partially covered.

“We’re introducing ourselves now,” Jessica explains, “You had a terrible accident,” she laughs merrily, “But I fixed it for you.”

You look up to the sky, hoping to spot trails of magic leading around and leading you back to the fallen god… or at least to the other end. It’s then that you realize that you have never really opened your eyes to see, that you were nearly blind in your casual observance of the world. What you thought were mere strands leading to or from things were actually entire ocean currents and you were merely seeing the densest part of it.

You can see the magic, and desires floating up from the city creating almost a tide effect that’s slowly pulling the currents closer to the world as they flow around and congeal. It becomes very quickly apparent what is natural and what isn’t. Strings of intentional dense magic flow around forcing their way through currents and disrupting the flow in whatever direction they’re headed.

You figure that if you follow the reverse of that flow you should find the fallen god, at the center of it all, and so you idly heft one of Summer’s tits and pinch the nipple before heading out.

As you walk through the city you can hear the whispers of desires of this city, its like being in a cafeteria pack filled with people all whispering into your ear about they really want of you. It’s impossible to make out any single voice. You can’t help but smile as you feel the darkness, rather, the magic flow around you more clearly than before.

It doesn’t take long before you stop in front of an abandoned warehouse on the shady side of town, where all of the artificial strands connect.
