If we're serious about her living openly as a girl, then realistically we should get Emilio and Celestino on board BEFORE making the big announcement to everybody.
I know people have this idea about Karel outing herself and then her and Emilio having a whirlwind romance and Celestino being bullied into accepting it by everybody else but that's too Disney. If anything, Celestino will be pissed that nobody included him in the discussions that directly concern the person in his employ guarding his son and Emilio will be freaked out by sudden revelations of his best friend lying to him about who they really are.
