Alright, let's squash that Inves. I want that Suika Lockseed. For those who aren't familiar with the series, Suika Arms functions a bit differently from other forms. I won't spoil what it does, but I will say that it's one of the cooler canon Lockseeds. Gaining access to it will give us a nice ace to keep in reserve.

You are Erina Kinushima, and you are just now peeking into the rabbit hole that your daughter'snow seemingly fallen into. Talking with Takatora Kureshima, he's dodged the questions enough about the origins and purposes of the Lockseeds and Sengoku Drivers to make your motherly instincts go off - and with just a little push, he opens the door to the Rabbit Hole for you.

[SIDE MAKOTO]
You are Makoto Kinushima, the Armored Rider Raid, and thanks to some quick witted slick talking, you've managed to make a solid pact with Kouta Kazuraba and Team Gaim - only to be challenged by a strange new Armored Rider, challenging any and all Armored Rider to martial combat as a test of strength. The new Armored Rider is revealed to be your boss at Charmant, patissier Oren Pierre Alfonzo, who's just as confused when you reveal to him your Armored Rider status.

Right as you and Oren are about to initiate a fight, however, a French woman from Yggdrasil offers a challenge - defeat a monstrous Berserker Inves, and claim the Lockseed that summoned it. You take her on the challenge, and the three Riders present try their best to coordinate and damage it, but to no avail.

The Inves strips off the hardened hide from its body, revealing powerful muscles and sinew, and in the massive heat spike coming from the stripped skin dashes into the river to cool down... While the river is not terribly deep, the hot steam is making it harder to see it.

Oren and Kouta nod, and as Oren starts hauling balls of explosive green energy at the water, you and Kouta open up with your own guns into the water. You figure that since the Inves' muscles are exposed after dumping the hardened flesh, he'd be more open to the concept of introducing bullets and offensive energy directly into his flesh.

And judging by the roars of pain from the steam cloud in the water, and the popped up body of the Inves in the air due to the explosive spheres from Oren, it seems to be getting along well.

You take the initiative, leaping into action the only way you know how - recklessly running into the water to finish the job.

>M'S DRIVER: "RINGO SQUASH!"

You hit the lever on your driver, and dash forward with as much speed you can channel into your legs, while the ragdolled Inves heads immediately towards you. Your axe glows red, you raise it behind you, and you scream:

What's up with these Lockseeds and feeling like you're drawing on the powers of the Gods themselves? Oh wait, the Forest...

With that, she makes her way back to the SUV, climbs in the drivers' seat, and the Yggdrasil vehicle goes off into the setting sun. You feel a bit underwhelmed, but you turn to look back at Oren and Kouta.

It really is kinda weird. Maybe we could redesign it along with the mask so it gets Ornstein style armored skirts on the sides, while the cape becomes more cloth-like so it can flow better?
At this point, there is no way we wont get the Dragonfruit Energy Arms as our upgrade, even if we need to pry the Lockseed from the cold dead hands of another Rider, and I'd rather make sure it looks as awesome and menacing as possible.

Well, dragons had horns, right? And some had rhinoceros-like horns, at least in pop culture, so I guess that's their attempt to incorporate that into the design. Plus, dragon fruit itself can look pretty spikey.

Still, like that one anon said last time, it's something an enemy can grab hold of and toss you to the ground.

Overall, though, still one of my favorite Arms designs.

If I had my way with that armor I'd Axe the spike possibly with Ringo Arms' axe and put a nice Dragon emblem in its place.
I'd also redesign the chest plate so it doesn't have the silly assymetrical oramge and white part.

Could we redesign the Lockseed, too? Something I like about the Energy Lockseeds we see in the show is how each one opens up differently. But both of the movie-exclusive Energy Lockseeds open the exact same way Peach Energy does. Kind of disappointing. I'm seeing our Dragonfruit Energy Lockseed opening by the scales sliding away to either side. Can we do that? And then if we get a Kachidoki-equivalent, and thereby no longer need to make the Lockseed look so much like a fruit, I was thinking that it could be a circle of overlapping scales. Then when we open it each scale slides out and to the side, dilating out into a ring around the exposed "flesh" of the Lockseed. And instead of a slice of dragonfruit for the motif, the scales are actually covering a symbol of a coiled dragon.

I may be putting too much thought into this, I don't know. I just think this is a cool quest, and it's easy to come up with ideas for things I find fun and interesting.

Well, Japanese style riders seem to use the circle for it's frame. Euro the emblem, and Chinese the octagon, so consider Wild is a Japanese style rider, she gets the circle. They also use the helm ornament design for it as well. Sooo, it would be a circle with her helmet's trident emblem. Could make the emblem appear diagonal so it looks like a claw.

You quickly slam your cash on the table and dash out the restaurant, Jonouchi following closely behind. Metallic and heavy plastic sounds betray that he's got... yeah, that's most certainly a Driver he's carrying as well.

You called it.

In almost a cliche kind of scene, in the dark of the night, the few people lounging around the street are running panicked. Looking at the source of their fear, indeed it appears to be a pretty elaborately decorated humanoid figure. The celadon exterior, however, puts your fears to rest immediately - it's an Inves.

And this one, judging by how it turned its attention to you, is out for some Rider blood.

This thing certainly doesn't look as tough as the Inves you, Oren and Kouta had to maul earlier, but judging by the glowing green lines all over its carapace, it's nothing to fuck with.

But the dragon's calling. Its teeth are grinding, its claws sharpened, and you can feel every nerve ending in your body light up in anticipation. Rather than fear... you feel desire.

This Inves' blood needs to be on your hands soon. Or else, you feel like you'll go absolutely mad.

Jonouchi looks back at you with a bit of a panic that you hadn't anticipated, as the celadon Inves rushes towards the pair of you. Easily you block the first attack, but he gets the idea real quick. While you're tied up with the Inves, Jonouchi pounds away at the Inves' back. The solid sounds of metal slamming against carapace are soothing - or maybe satiating. You can't tell. A couple trades of blows against the monster, and you manage to repel it directly into Jonouchi once more. He catches on quick, and together the two of you start an impromptu game of ping pong with the Inves as the ball.

However, the charade lasts for only a short while before the grooves on its carapace glow bright green, and lances of runic energy surge out from its shell! You easily dodge them, but Jonouchi's not so lucky - in his haste to try to do fancy dodges, a couple of the lances of energy snag onto his leg and arm, trapping him!

The Inves is now fully turned to face him, slowly approaching and clearly showing intent to kill... but you need to do something!

You charge the Inves, scraping your claw up his back and doing one of the most acrobatic flips over him that you could muster. It's not very graceful, but it gets the job done. You slash at the vine-like lances that had held Jonouchi captive, and he nods in thanks towards you.

With a bit of a corny jump, both you and Jonouchi manage to deliver punishing weapon blows to the Inves, sending it staggering back. You can visibly see it starting to hesitate, as the heaving body of the creature denotes it's running out of--

Wait a second, when the hell has an Inves taken a break to catch its breath? Is it actually trying to recoup itself? What the hell was this about?

The sad thing is, this is our best option. He's just going to go feral again. Becoming an Overlord is extremely unlikely at this stage. The least we can do is put him out of his misery. Though it does seem somewhat hypocritical for us to engage in euthanasia when we're praying for Hasse to get better. I guess the difference is that Hasse isn't conscious to tell us he wants to die.
