The last few hours have been eventful. You've watched perhaps the most powerful man alive, the Varistha of this temple, battle creatures from beyond the veil of reality; hatched a dragon, a beast unseen on the surface in untold millennia; and enchanted an object, the first to do so since the fall of the Rhynian Empire more than a thousand years ago. Hard to believe it's only a few hours past midnight.

You make your way over to your bed, sweeping away some ash; the result of your new adoptive child setting your bedding aflame. Once it's sufficiently clean you sprawl out and reach towards Darzi tentatively, via the connection afforded to you by the brooches. {How did breaking the news of the Varistha's death to the monks turn out?}

Her response is prompt, and her mental 'tone' seems cheery enough. You're surprised she's still awake, it must be near three in the morning. {Surprisingly well, they asked me a few questions, mostly relating to how I knew and other such things. A few of the monks vouched for me, mentioning they saw the Varistha in full armor marching off through the gardens. Then they went and inspected his rooms and found a note. We're lucky, because it apparently corroborated the story you told me; he simply marched off to finish off the last vestiges of pirates and either die in the process or exile himself afterward.}

All good news then, seems Darzi was the right choice for this task after all. {Anything else? I presume they're calling up the Varistha's replacement from El-Amin, but will there be a period of mourning or anything of the sort?}

Darzi seems to take a moment to think, though you can't really be sure. When her reply comes, she seems contemplative. {They didn't mention anything but if I remember correctly they ought to host some sort of public ceremony. Let me qualify that by saying the last time I saw Ghantak funeral it was after the death of the Dastur for a temple dedicated to Surya, I'm not sure if the traditions are the same for a temple dedicated to Pani.}

You squint at nothing in particular, replying with some confusion. {What on Earth is a Ghantak? Anyway, funerals for those faithful to Pani are no different from funerals for those faithful to Surya. The body is cremated while priest sing blessings to speed them on their way to Pani's loving embrace. In the absence of a corpse, there will likely simply be a bonfire and a ceremony.}

{Ghantak is what my people call the settled peoples. Those who have abandoned the deserts in favor of a sedentary lifestyle. I suppose I, too fall into the category of Ghantak; however, I've never really viewed myself that way. I doubt I ever will, as much as I'd rather not travel any longer. Call it sentimentality.} Darzi pauses before changing the subject. {Anyway, I wasn't told of anything special taking place, a messenger was sent out and I'm sure plans are being arranged for the funeral. I don't think it quite sunk in for them that the Varistha is dead, or as good as. They seemed shocked, or even flat out disbelieving.}

{Thanks for the help, Darzi. I appreciate it.} She responds that it wasn't a problem, and you sever the connection. Next, you turn your attention to Fulvia. {What was it you wished to speak with me about, earlier? I know you said you would contact me, but I started meditating and lost track of time.}

Fulvia's response is as prompt as always, and unexpectedly quite eager. {Finally! Do you know how frustrated I was when I could not get into contact with you? I've been doing research on what little the Empire knows-or rather knew-of dragons. I've found a plethora of details regarding unearthed bones and skeletons, including a interesting treatise on the tensile strength of dragon bone. Did you know it was once used as armor by certain Dwoveth tribes to the north of Rhynia, before they were conquered and put to the sword, of course.}

She changes topic rapidly. {I've also read up extensively on sexing reptiles, and I believe if given time to properly study it I ought to be able to determine whether or not it's male or female. In addition, I'd like to take some measurements of its wingspan and length from snout to tail spade. If you don't mind, of course.}

>Sure, she can examine your dragon. After it wakes up, of course. It's sleeping at the moment.
>You're not sure you're comfortable with Fulvia giving it more than a cursory examination.
>You'll do quite fine raising your own child, thank you very much!

Can we change it to do it later, once it's comfortable, or maybe she can do it just by sight? I don't see grabbing a dragon's wings and pulling them apart forcefully as an endeavor that ends nicely.

I really think we should be the one doing the measuring, and Fulvia just direct us and notch down the numbers, maybe help a bit with metal magic.
Also, reminder that we're better at Fire magic than Fulvia is now.
Also, we need to tell her that we just enchanted a bedsheet to permanently give off scorching heat

Mortia is a qt moe hipster hikkiNEET "chemist" with beautiful hair, a great face, and a wonderfully homely body.
Darzi is a cutie tomboy who's not sure how she relates to family and settling down but wants to do the right thing.
These are sort of simplified descriptions of course, but they're both great, imo.
>>
>>35839373
When described that way, I'm forced to wonder whether Mortia is based on one of Soma's friends/exes.
>>
>>35839402
I know she could be based on one of my ideals/fantasies.

Soma senpai, did you read my asks with the ether shit in it? I know it isn't canon, but did you like my theories?
>>
You consider it for a moment, recalling that your dragon seemed to be scared of or at the very least unsettled by Fulvia. {You can examine it, but not right now. After it wakes up. I'd also like to be present, as it didn't seem entirely comfortable around you. You'll need to keep in mind this is a sentient being, if a child. You'll need to treat it as you would any other party member.}

Her reply seems reluctant. {I would disagree with characterizing the life of a dragon as equal in worth to your life or the life of a human.} You find it interesting that she only mentioned you and humans; not the rest of the party, herself, or other races. {However, I will obey at your command and treat it just as I would you or any of those entrusted to my care. Please inform me as soon as it has awoken from its slumber.}

You push yourself up into a sitting position on your bed, turning your attention to the bundle on the floor huddled beneath your smoldering blanket, rivers of red and orange dancing across the white fabric. You can't believe you actually enchanted an object. You actually altered reality itself by your will alone. It's an empowering feeling, to say the least. You feel as though you could do anything, conquer cities or slay great beast. Not in the usual sense either; that is to say the desire for world conquest and wide-spread massacre you feel whenever the Entity is trying to sway your thoughts.

>>
>>35839473
It's fine, Profectus is Soma's self-insert.

Regardless, you've got a few task ahead of you that you ought to consider attending to. You've got the Shah's ring in your cloak; returning that to the current Shah may net you some good will. You might also read some of the books or notes the Varistha left you, or one of your other books. You could try to cast permanency on the blanket you enchanted, hopefully without waking the dragon. You're not feeling particularly 'up to' meditating at the moment, unfortunately.

>Begin reading the Varistha's memoirs.
>Leaf through the Varistha's notes, see if there is anything of interest.
>Read one of the books in your backlog, ones you didn't get from the Varistha.
>Head for the Shah's rooms and see if he's still in deep mourning, if so you can leave the ring with his guards.
>Cast permanency on the blanket, so that you will not have to worry about the enchantment expiring.

You whip your cloak off of your shoulders and look it over, deciding whether you really want to do this. After all, you're not exactly fond of the idea of finding Ricky eating a bunch of corpses. In the end, you decide you'd rather know what he's got in there rather than be left in the dark. That in mind, you take a deep breath and shove your head beyond the event horizon of your cloak, finding yourself thrust into that cold, airless void on the other end.

You find Ricky in all his semi-shapeless glory, his lower half sheathed in black stone while much of his other half is composed of some strange, transparent substance. Save of course for his head, which is sheathed in some sort of dark blue, smooth material and conceals his beaked mouth. White tentacles writhe all across his back, reminding you in same ways of fire or perhaps lightning shooting off in every direction. At the moment, he is seated at a table with four skeletons. Not skeletal figures, but rather skeletons picked clean of all flesh, the bones stained red with remnants of gore.

Their clothes are piled neatly on a shelf, and their belongings stacked on top. You see communication brooches on top of two piles, one on each. You also note an array of weapons; a spear, two swords, and a handful of daggers. None of them seem particularly special, but there is a pair of Vatis robes folded under one of the piles with a communication brooch on top. Apparently, one of them was magically adept.

Ricky has placed a deck of cards in the center of the table, perhaps one of the pirate's belongings? Regardless, he uses his tentacles to daintily grip a set of five cards, while the skeletons each have five spread out face-down in front of him. He's also set out an array of snacks, untouched of course, and some cups of water, untouched save for his own glass which seems to be empty.

Playing cards with the dead seems a rather useless endeavor. You're forced to wonder if he just puts on these antics when he knows you intend to check on him.

Not notebook anon but I know some stuff for reasons.

What I'd first recommend is not assuming that dragon children have too many equivalencies to samjan kids beyond their basic needs, and that listening to and observing the behavior of our dragon would be the first real step to determining how to encourage it to be a more polite society friendly fire breathing monster. So far it already seems fairly open to us and the mental connection does a great deal to improve our communication.

If we want an even greater connection we know its enthralled by interesting methods of using fire magic, so that would be the healthy place to start. We've seen it respond overwhelmingly great to praise, so praising it for actions related to politeness to others may have that encouraging effect, as before it didn't seem to heavily grasp our admonishment as much as oblige our intent for it to not attack our companions.

There are of course the things we know by legend and hearsay of dragons and their solitary nature and greed. Attempting to force changes of that nature may have unpleasant consequences the same as trying to force an active outdoor dog to adjust to a small and calm living space, or a species of python who usually only befriends a few people and merely tolerates everyone else but will bite if it gets handled or surrounded too much.
How much of that stuff is its nature is what we'll have to find out first, before trying to make it less likely to eat people.

Also, since it just ate and went to sleep after being born its likely that when it wakes up its going to void its bowels and I don't think we want that to happen in our room. That is if dragons work like animals, if not then whatever the fuck.

You think in Ricky's general direction, a task which seems much easier with your head in the void. {Do you think you can hand me those brooches, Ricky? I've need of them.}

Before your very eyes two ethereal tentacles stretch from Ricky's back, winding their way across the distance between Ricky and the brooches. He plucks them both up delicately, wrapping them in whatever material his tentacles are made of and then lazily letting them drift over to you. You shove your hand through the cloak with some small difficulty and Ricky places both brooches into your hand.

As you're about to thank him, a screeching fills your mind. You wince, the sound reminiscent of nails scraping across a chalkboard. As the screeching comes to an end your vision clears of the spots which had filled it, and you see Ricky has returned to his card game. He needs some hobbies which he can enjoy by himself other than interior decorating, because it's just odd what he's got going in here. {Well, thank you Ricky. I'll leave you to... this.}

You pull your head and your arm out, inspecting the brooches. They're almost identical to the set you bought from Sadik, save for some minor aesthetic differences. The carvings in the material are different, but just as on your own brooches you see no obvious runes. You inspect them carefully for a moment just to convince yourself there's nothing wrong with them and then tuck them back into your cloak, you can decide what to do with them later.

(1/2 or 3)
>>
For now, you've got a spell to cast. You turn your attention towards the blanket-covered mound that is your sleeping dragon, calling up the knowledge forced into your mind by a spirit perhaps as old as time itself. Images flood your thoughts unbidden, images of soulless husk staring dead-eyed at the floor ceiling above them, and images of triumphant men and women holding aloft artifacts of great power.

Suddenly you find yourself in a trance, your Third Eye focused inward, towards your own reserves. You see yourself as if from above, slumped against the wall behind you with your eyes closed and your legs splayed out inelegantly. You slide deeper into your trance, your reserves and the hazy form of your body fading away entirely. Instead, you find yourself staring at a small, tightly compacted orb of light sitting roughly where your chest would be, if your estimate is correct.

You side in closer, to get a better look. It burns with a bright, golden light. Brighter than any torch. Oddly enough the brooch fastening your cloak has a much smaller glowing orb at its center as well, but this one blue instead of golden.You don't recall ever seeing this in others when you've sunk into a deep trance previously. You didn't see anything resembling this when you enchanted the blanket earlier, and that was perhaps the deepest you've ever been in meditation.

Some strange instinct tells you to reach out, and so you do. With a thought you sheer away a portion of the golden glowing orb. As it separates entirely from the rest of the orb you feel your mind... dim, for lack of a better word. You feel duller, and just generally less intelligent. Your emotions feel less intense. That elation from your accomplishments yesterday and earlier this morning seem less significant, and for some reason you just can't get excited about what you're about to accomplish.
>Vys Pool: (19/[23])

(2/3)
>>
You twist your perception in space, facing the blanket. You see your dragon lying beneath, a flaming red orb at the center of its body. It seems much larger, and seems to glow much brighter. Surrounding it is a hazy, ethereal sheet. Presumably your enchanted blanket. Carefully, you move the portion of glowing golden... stuff that you severed from your orb. Was that your soul? You would've thought your soul would be a little more spectacular than a little glowing orb. It's a little underwhelming. Regardless, you press it into the haze of the blanket and feel your connection to it severed.

The blanket snaps into sudden clarity, the orb you imbued the cloak with shifting from gold to a bright, royal blue. You don't feel a connection to it like you used to, though you do feel a sort of affinity with the blanket that you don't feel with any of your other enchanted equipment.

Suddenly you're within your own body again, your eyes opening blearily to stare out at your room. Outwardly, nothing seems to change. The blanket still covers your dragon, its colors shifting endlessly orange and red across a white surface. You feel a deep ache in your chest, a certain sadness. You've lost something of yourself, and you feel less of a person for it. However, some small inkling at the back of your mind reminds you that you've just successfully made an enchantment self-perpetuating. A feat worth celebrating.

The MC of this Quest(Avatar Quest) had the bad habit to monologue, it was a quirk and everyone knew it'd come bite us in the ass at some point.
Now, he's a monologuing faggot but he's still the Avatar in the setting(think the Varista).
Now the MC's father lost it and tried to kill the MC, stuff happened, MC beat his father then starts monologuing.
Father(who is at most an expert earth vatis) pulled a feat that even the Varista couldn't do if he snorted a casquet full of spice crit hitting us enough to enter Avatar mode(think "Iwin button" yeah even that wasn't enough to make us kill our dear father)

You try to convince yourself to get up, you really do. You try your very hardest to just haul yourself up to your feet and get to work. However, something always keeps dragging you down. Telling you that there's time to do it later. Telling you to just allow yourself a brief respite. Eventually, that voice wins out. You kick off your boots and halfheartedly pull the covers over yourself, not bothering to strip off your clothing and equipment.

When you clothes your eyes, you do not find sleep easily. Your mind is tormented by innumerable thoughts. Regrets from years past, embarrassing memories, thoughts of your failures. You find yourself dwelling on the negative, and only by force of will do you manage to clear your mind long enough for unconsciousness to find you. Gratefully, you let your grip on the world around you slip away, sinking into the blackness of sleep.

As you drift through dreamless sleep, you feel a consciousness pressing against yours. You feel small and insignificant in comparison to the great force encroaching upon you. It puts to shame petty creatures like the Entity and the ancient dragon you encountered beneath the mines of Longia. Even the Three, those strange skeletal spectators of your life, seem insignificant in comparison to this force. Still, you feel yourself in control. It is ultimately up to you whether you let this creature enter your mind.

You permit the presence to enter your mind and the veil between realities seems to part, revealing a swirling vortex of multicolored hues, a resplendant whirlpool of vys dissimilar in almost every way to the black void your dreams seem composed of.

Gliding gracefully through the portal is a figure you're familiar with. A skeletal figure, much of its rib cage missing or shattered. It seems as though a patchwork of many different creatures stitched together, its legs far too large to be those of any bipedal creature you've come across, while its two lower arms seem very human. Its upper arms, on the other hand, are quadruple jointed monstrosities, bending in impossible ways.

Sinuous wings stretch from its back, blue iris-like appendages at their center lending them the appearance of feathery eyelids. Black, amorphous blobs extend from the underside of its wings, stretching out and allowing it to seemingly crawl across the air. It's an eerie site, not aided in the slightest by the fact it grasp a golden, glowing orb between its lower set of hands. A glowing orb not dissimilar to the one you saw resting within your own chest but moments before.

{In seven hours

Forty-six minutes

Seven seconds

You will kill the Shah.}

>>
Its tone is solemn, resigned, you'd even go so far as to say regretful. As the figure finishes speaking, you find yourself bolting upright in your bed. You're sweating profusely, and you feel as though you might vomit. Your head is swimming, a thousand different thoughts competing for your attention. You throw the covers off of yourself and swing your legs over the side of the bed, resting your elbows on your knees and trying to resist the urge to empty the meager contents of your stomach.

Fortunately, the urge passes after a time. How long have you been asleep? What time is it? You've only but seven hours left? Are you really fated to kill the Shah, or is that great entity merely reminding you of your obligation? Is it attempting to trick you into doing its bidding, banking on your lack of understanding to get you to do as it pleases? What was the significance of the golden orb grasped between its skeletal fingers?

You slowly manage to calm yourself, taking deep breaths and doing your best to clear your mind until your heart rate slows to normal. It's only then that you realize you no longer feel so emotionally blunted and mentally dim. Apparently, whatever it is you sliced off of yourself and whatever damage it did to you has been repaired.

Most things in the void make the old man look like a weakling.
Ricky runs shit in the void. Why have we not given ricky a brooch? And had a conversation with him?

It's the furthest thing from a wild guess. All of their artifacts had associated hidden costs, it would be illogical for the cloak to have none when considering the costs of the other two artifacts, and this is in addition to the fact that soon after (when we slept) we were visited by the void messenger telling us we would kill the Shah.
Use some critical thinking.

>Actually its hinted at being some one else in the royal family since it looked like they wanted him as well gone.
>next in line is a radical idealist
>spirit was holdings soul
>he doesn't seem happy about telling us to do this
Did that little bitch sell her soul to the void devil and put a hit on her dad and brother.
Let's go kill her. Anyone in the shah's line has shah blood, therefore no matter which one we kill they are technically the shah, let's go smash this cunts skull in
>>
>>35845013
Here's where I'm going whatever the hell this is is on an entirely different level then some 3 skeletons

>It puts to shame petty creatures like the Entity and the ancient dragon you encountered beneath the mines of Longia. Even the Three, those strange skeletal spectators of your life, seem insignificant in comparison to this force.

They're considered insignificant whatever this primal spirit is I highly doubt it has anything to do with them.
>>
>>35845010
Well lets at least try to get some impartial opinions on this. SK may be the best guy to ask for tips on how to do it and get away with it.

>>35845044
I'm fine with getting some advice discretely. Though I think Fulvia will probably support killing the shah to weaken future enemies for GLORIOUS ROBORYTHIAN EMPIRE.
>>
>>35844543

>>35845071
They did say it didn't have anything do to with them, as they said we owed THEM nothing. This helps the void messenger-cloak relation argument more than most things, anon.
>>
>>35845044
I mean we know next to nothing about what will happen when the clock runs out.
Maybe we'll go unconscious and be possessed by a void beast.
Maybe the cloaks portal will close sealing everything inside.
Maybe we'll have to fight Ricky.

Point is knowledge is power and we need more of it.

>Point is knowledge is power and we need more of it.
yeah and what knowledge would telling our party gain us?
We have more knowledge about this cloak than any one in our party.
Likely more than anyone in this world that is alive.
*less than the three bashed in skulls*
Which btw we still owe them a favor. And this may be their way of collecting? I doubt it. And think it's just a requirement of the cloak but wouldn't be surprised if it's their master or something.
>>
Guys, what if killing Kadir is really for the best? I mean, there will be some instability but just think of the French Army after they abolished slavery. They were an unstoppable force because their army grew so large.

Hold up, Anon. That's wrong. The Army of Revolutionary France was shit. It was objectively shit. It was only due to sheer numbers and the most basic of tactics that they managed to drive foreign armies off of French soil. For the record, by the way, those armies were mostly freed serfs from the countryside. Not slaves in the colonies, which was basically the only place France had slaves in the first place.

The Army of Napoleonic France was the shit, it was fantastic. However, Napoleon reinstituted slavery. It was one of the very first things he did after he took power. He even invaded Haiti to reenslave the entire country, which had revolted.

Not sayin' I support slavery or something, I'm just saying there's isn't a correlation between slavery and military prowess. Not necessarily, and certainly not in the case of France.

I don't understand how you guys don't get this.
Darzi volunteered for a suicide mission. to try and rescue a Shah. Why wouldn't she do it again, since she is "loyal" to the shah. Which Kadir has become. She may not out right rat on us. But do something in her power to hinder us is a likely out come.
I'd rather she get pissed and leave once we tell her if we tell her afterwards. than telling her now and run the risk she gets us killed.

Actually someone was speculating that the void messenger was demanding the price for us to keep the cloak.
Soma responded to that post with
>Ding! Ding! Ding!
covered by a spoiler and nothing else.
That's a pretty clear response, but based on his previous posts about the cloak and its costs, may have been a red herring. Frequently in the past when people have made jokes about the cost of the cloak, Soma has responded with "that's a good idea" or "I think I'll do that" or something else along those lines. This makes it reasonable to assume that Soma's confirmation was, in fact, a ruse and we do not need to kill Kadir to keep the cloak.

We won't know until the deadline has passed.

Bretty good, but aspie only runs twice a month half the time. Each time he runs is usually two or three threads, but its never enough. >>
>>35845516
Its fine to have a difference of opinion. I not going to crucify you like some anon's do especially here.
I just think it'd be better to kill kadir.
If this is the requirement for the cloak awesome we get that out of the way. And we kill the bastard who is responsible for banishing us.

BUT if killing a king every few months is the requirement for this. Its going to be a tough road ahead of us.
It'd be nice if it's just the person we hate the most..
>>
>>35845555
Because you should be paying attention Mr. Quads. Otherwise you won't get the nuances and subtleties.

Personally I'll be happy just to get this boring plot point done with so we can get back to the interesting parts of the quest (learning the secrets of magic, exploring ancient ruins, haggling, interacting with and learning about foreign cultures and partaking in the occasional bout of Ultra Violence). Being an Elder God's hitman is nice and all but it gets tedious when it drags on like this.

You slide off the stone slab that serves as your bed. Well, that's not really giving it enough credit. There is a narrow strip of padded cloth between you and the stone. Still not exactly the most luxurious of accommodations. You cast an uncomfortable glance around the room, wondering if you ought to contact your companions and tell them about the dream you'd just had, or perhaps vision would be the better word. In the end, you decide against it. What if they tell someone? What if they try to prevent you from doing it, and you garner some horrible consequence?

You stand up, briefly pacing the room before whipping off your cloak and laying it flat on the ground. When you pull it away, the Varistha's chest sits unopened before you. You quickly affix your cloak about your shoulders, fastening it with your communication brooch, and then take a seat before your chest. Gently, you pull away the latch and open the lid, finding everything exactly where you left it. You carefully withdraw the prism, hands shaking just slightly as you set it down next to you.

You turn your attention from the chest to the artifact, clasping your hands around the glowing crystal at the top. You focus on your memories of that smug asshole Kadir. The way he used to sneer at you whenever you were assigned to help fill the reservoirs that watered his garden, or the look of fury on his face when you were brought before him in court. You recall the first time you saw him in the Varistha's quarters; a drunken, nervous wreck. You recall him pressing the hot brand marking you a slanderer into your cheek amidst the cheering of the crowd, the pain flashing white hot in your memory.

Soon you find yourself peering at him as if from over his shoulder. He languishes; passed out at a desk, a paper in front of him next to a half-empty bottle of wine and some barely touched food. More bottles lay scattered across the floor. The paper plays host to the beginnings of a speech, but quickly devolves into seemingly random scribbles and self-deprecating phrases in his horrible handwriting. He's not ready, he never wanted to rule, he's just a incompetent wastrel. All manner of insults and debasements have been written on the page, and all directed at him.

He doesn't seem particularly intimidating, considering he's drunk himself into a coma. You can't help but wonder if a man like this, if you can even call him a man, could really have pulled off a plot to kill his father. If he'd even want to. He certainly seems upset about the news. It would almost be a shame to kill him, he's helpless in his current state. You don't foresee him waking up anytime soon either.

Your eyes snap open, and you carefully pull your hands away from the prism. You find yourself conflicted, unsure of what action you ought to take in this rapidly approaching crisis. You reach into your cloak and withdraw a stick of jerky to gnaw on while you think, eyes focused on the gently rising and falling bundle that is your young dragon.

Our dragon can learn illusion magic.
Dragons are highly inteligent.
Have fulvia train it to talk our language day after day.
While we train our fire illusion magic. SO it can do the same thing fulvia does. Project an illusion of a person over her self.

I think it may just be a lost magic. but we can have our dragon focus all of his meditations towards transformation meta magic.

But he did try to kill us through banishment once already, as well he's obviously going to be a shit ruler.

I suggest we immobilize him, and convince him that he should step down from power. He doesn't want it, he's not ready for it, and there's a supernatural hit out on him.

Let's kill him inside, and leave his body breathing. It's NEVER been said we'll kill Kadir, just "The Shah". So let's do a metaphorical hit and kill the Shah, but leave Kadir alive.

This is the solution, isn't it? We actually have to TALK to him.
Jesus Christ, it was worse than any of us could've imagined.

Not if we make it cool, and say something like:
>"In the name of the Totemist's Pact, I hereby assert my dominance over this soul, and claim it as my own."
>"I have bested this soul in mortal combat. Its strength is mine to command. By blood and bone, in spirit and soul, let this ritual blade show: I am Totemist, Link Between Worlds. Now..."
>"Submit!"
>>
>>35846114
We should try enchanting someone with tattoos.
>>
>>35846226
Anon I'm gonna hit you real hard if we ever happen to pass by each other in real life. I shall know by instinct. And when you lie on the ground after having been suckerpunched you will recall with great clarity this moment and foretelling of your fate.
>>
>>35846226
HAHAHA

Im somewhat sure that there was leader's who ever wanted there power but still did good. I also vaguely remember a saying like the best leaders are the ones who never wanted power or something

>>

What happens if we permanence a game of Siege! Will the figures continually rise from the ground only to be brutally cast down again and again until the end of time?
>>
>>35846226
I don't know, Anonymous. That's a little too wordy. How about:
>“This spirit is bound in the name of Mikhael Abdul-Hakim.”
>“This Soul is mine to command.”
>>
>>35846262
>Mik encourages Kadir to become the Shah just so he can get away with killing him for payment
Man we really are a petty asshole out for revenge.
>>
>>35846226
10/10
>>
>>35846262
Fuck I don't want to kill Kadir.

Bruh

>I've stabbed you with swords and ice and fire
>Now that your almost dead I'll just rip your soul out so I can make a cup that warms my tea
>>
>>35846310
Osyki is hardcore, no denying that.
>>
>>35846310
Don't forget the bitching cloak.
>You are now imagining Mik and Osyki praising each others Cloak, with Ricky and Thane have tea like the gentlemen they are.
>>
>>35846262
Abraham Lincoln did suffer from clinical depression.
>>
>>35846369
You mean Ricky stroking thane's fave with his tentacles while making him play cards with the skelly crew
>>
>>35846369
Fuck, I just realized Osyki and Mik both have stealth-cloaks with strange creatures inside of them.
>>
>>35846387
Abraham Lincoln is overrated as a leader.
>>
>>35846369
You are now imagining Osyki binding the Rock Turtle or the Deep Siren to an instrument in honor of Mik and his Oud of defeaning
>>

There's a book about this that's somewhat applicable.
A First-Rate Madness: Uncovering the Links Between Leadership and Mental Illness

Asshole. Without a doubt.
>>
>>35846451
No. Never set a clock by. Gigantic bloody ice golems with fists covered in the gore of their kills, suits of armor filled with flame and anger with swords that melt everything they hit, giant trolls formed of solid rock with hammers and shields, Treekin that split the foundations of any castle, metal warriors with masks of screaming agony. And they're fighting each other ceaselessly, any dead rising from their citadel, day and night, from now til forever
