You knew the Nitro-Boost won't last for too much longer but you had to keep the Speed up for as long as possible as you came towards the 2nd curve. You were about 15 percent done with the track and those 3 racers were slowly creeping up behind you.

This was textbook Street Racing Tactics, huddle together and then potentially slipstream to overtake your line but you had the advantage in speed and you were going to press it for as long as possible as your engine let out a loud roar while you hugged the corner in the next turn.

Yet some of the riders couldn't keep up or tried to turn too sharply thus causing them to spin out and run off the track. Even for a basic 6 curve racing track like this you couldn't hold anything back.
