So what happens when a bunch of crazy cultists have a party, sacrifice a bunch, and drink special mojo?

A very long and bad trip that is what.

Such a bad trip that one isn't entirely sure of exactly what happened besides it. Except for being a bunch of cultists who many claim are crazy this is the norm not the exception. Sure there might have been some clever monsters involved, some zombie hordes, dastardly bandits, weird fantasies, and a giant pile of treasure that just keeps on giving out horrible gifts.

Like seriously if only it wasn't so damned valuable and would stop belching such terrible things it would be perfect.

Alas that is the problem...the best items are often remain there for good reason. Not to mention next time for some reason the bandits have remained awfully low for awhile now totally doesn't involve all the zombie havoc and your crazy ass parties.

Nope.

Totally not.

You have acquired 1 fate point.

You have 2 major boons to spend as you will.

If someone finds a good pic there will be a reward because I suck at finding them.

I am also totally not a voice in your head much less one of a mere jungle but hey if it makes you listen who am I to complain.

Live long enough to party with the blood gods. Use that forbidden knowledge for strengthening our connection with the jungle and contact the bandits on updates for what is going on.

I do hope no one has forgotten about being a bunch of cultists who accidentally a toxic spring and then wiped out a corrupted heroic unit without suffering a single loss?

Or how about that wicked party which ended up getting some special units only to later get them killed?

How about the time you accidentally triggered a zombie chain swarm and barely managed to make it out alive by sacrificing someone precious?

What about the time you found a treasure trove that you just can't resist no matter all the terrible things it does to you?

And this is just the beginning new friends and old.

>>35632643
two.
>>
Damnit, I wasn't prepared for you to host this today I thought we were doing the Space civ.

Alright, shit uh let me get my bearings. I didn't even reread the archives yet.
>>
Hmm, rereading archives before I come up with any ideas...I feel like we might want to burn a major bonus to acquire Forbidden Lore: Knowledge of the Jungle.

That way we can know everything about this jungle. Why it's the way that it is, the dangers of it, etc.
>>
>>35632905
In truth we ought to think about this VERY carefully. We know that the brood is out there, and they are but ONE of the things to look out for.

Also there is a distinction between "our" jungle and "the rest" of the jungle, and that there is a heart out there.
>>
Rolled 42 (1d100)

>>35632605
Bandits seem otherwise engaged...they do however warn you that with recent plunge in zombie number you can expect for their presence to increase.

Also you need to wage better war against the clever monsters whom been kicking your sorry ass.

>>35632988
Oh dear there is one with a brain.
>>
>>35632988
In short we are one with OUR jungle, but the rest of the Jungle is still not on our side or "ours"

>>35633008
. . .Can we burn a fatepoint to make all the Jungle in the megacity ours?
>>
Rolled 24 (1d100)

>>35633036
A fate point is basically a free crit point and even with a crit that wouldn't be good enough on its own.
>>
>>35633145
How about 2 Major Bonuses?
>>
>>35633174
....affirmative if burnt along with fate point to force through the required action to make it so that combined with bonuses will allow it.

It will only encompass the overgrown megacity though.
>>
>>35633207
Done.
>>
>>35633207
And therefore, as we are one with our jungle including Jungle Empathy as well as having Our Jungle like us, this will now apply to the entire megacity yes?
>>
Rolled 35 (1d100)

>>35633217

Have to come up with action, mane.

Something like
>Basic 1/2
"Perform a Ritual to make all of the Jungle OURS."
Burn all bonuses and Fate Point. Also you'd better make this good because you never actually wrote out us ripping the Corrupted Jungle Spirit's heart out like you said.
>>
Rolled 60 (1d100)

>>35633224
It would only include forbidden lore.

Jungle Empathy is separate and only makes it so nearby jungle is empathetic to you.

Hm....now i have to figure out how to explain this shit.

Fuck...stuff keeps popping up that I ain't got the rules for yet.

WHY.
>>
>>35633380

That is, support for burning the Fate Point. Obviously the action will have to be reworked or discarded since we won't be able to assure a crit on it anymore.

Didn't that used to mean something?
>>
Rolled 39 (1d100)

>>35633562
Sorta pissed right now...

Well guess I'll tell you what happened.

Due to certain circumstances the crit 1 along with fate point burn, and bonuses when combined with outside modifiers...you failed so hard you succeeded...kinda.

For you see instead of making the Jungle yours...it was reversed.

As in you became the Jungle's.

As in you got jacked and upgraded. The weakest/lowest upgrade would be something akin to jungle sense and blessing. While the stronger ones include incarnates and much more.

Problem is well...the Jungle isn't a player faction and it took control of one.
>>
>>35633562
>Only true if player.
I feel like there's precedence of player/GM dice cancelling.

>>35633653
Which means that if I can find it then we get to take control of the jungle, doesn't it?
>>
>>35633685
Actually this might not be so bad, fitting I suppose. We and our blood belongs to no one but the Jungle Gods!
>>
>>35633653
So game over? We ascend to jungle aviator state and won? That's it?
>>
>>35633704
Fair enough.
So we get a Fate Point for winning and move on to Hax now eh?
>>
Rolled 62 (1d100)

>>35633653
...basically a game over yet...win state.

Kinda similar to V101 but you...made it out intact.

Your people became possessed by the Jungle.

...the ENTIRE Megacity Jungle.

That is kinda like one of the BIGGEST win conditions or best boons for cultists factions.

Not only that if you combine that with zealots modifiers...

Its like damn.

>>35633685
Only under certain conditions is there precedence this wasn't one of them.

>>35633711
....don't rub it in.

I would prefer it to not end but you got grabbed, imbued, possessed, power upped ect. By a NPC factio-er force.

Anyway let me write up the bad ass ending and uhm....what next?

Our forces decided it best to perform a ritual to make the jungle OURS.

Some claimed it was heresy. While others noted that if we wish to become closer the gods that we must RISE to meet them no?

So the ritual was planned to take place....and something went wrong.

So very wrong. As the energy we kicked off...caused a chain reaction while we struggled to take hold of the power. Alas there was too much of it and even our surroudings themselves reacted to it. Warping...becoming 'alive'. That was when we saw how it really was.

...yet somehow so very right.

We saw that the jungle was not just a single 'thing' rather it was many countless things...we saw that some of those things sought to rise above the others. There they faced off against each other.

We saw that the jungle...was no mere living force or god. Rather it was a gift of the gods a testament to the ways of what they left for those like us the believers.

That...while we were seemingly being overwhelmed with the force of the jungle supposedly to punish our transgressions. To use our blood and bone as mulch for the better growth......instead though.

It did not act to kill...but rather for rejoicing.

The jungle was merciless yet it did not kill.

Instead while we tried to control it and failed...it now sought to control us.

That was when we realized this was actually a blessing in disguise.

No LONGER must we struggle to hear or become closer. Instead we are being granted it and blessed by it.

Now we are no mere cultists. Now even the LOWLY of us are blessed beings while the strongest have become the very incarnates of the Jungle. A few of us even ended up becoming avatars.

That is how it is.

This is far beyond what we hoped. As we were welcomed to a newer better fate.

END.

So we get to ask questions now?

Tell us the Seeker's backstory. Did he have contact with the Memor?

What, exactly, was incoming to kill us? Tell us all the threats, why they wanted to kill us, and how they were coming for us.
>>
>>35634332
Tell us about the Holy Grail of resources and storytime the plan to create "The Mouth of the Jungle God", a vast forest of carniverous plants we meant to send the swarm into.
>>
>>35634378

Aah, yes there was mention of a ritual that might damn us being contained in the Holy Grail of resources. What was that?

Also, how would you have gone about getting the resources out of it? If I recall, our plans were usually good they just all critfailed. So actually if we had critfailed 1 more time we would've gotten them.
>>
>>35634332
Seeker actually did have contact with the Memor but overall he was a wandering type.

First bandits were gonna come after you due to the whole lots of supplies and dealt with nearby zombies creating an opening.

The monsters were gonna perform a guerrilla warfare against you.

Brood was slowly starting to taken notice and later interest in you.

>>35634309

The holy grail of resources was simply a nest of sorts.

I have no idea about the latter part.

>>
>>35634466
Tell us more about the Seeker's contact with the Memor. Also, what was the HEart of the Jungle and what would the seeds that the Seeker had for growing a Heart have grown into?

Also what would've happened if we'd tried growing our own Heart?
