It's a beautiful day' the sky is clear, the sun shines bright, a gentle breeze brushes your face, and the cows mill about peacefully, grazing under the watchful eye of your father.

You've lived out in the country your entire life. In fact, you've never even seen a city. Your parents are farmers, like many of the people living in your area. They've already taught you how to help them with various tasks, which you are able to do easily with your impressive strength.

In the distance, an explosion, accompanied by an incredibly loud bang catches your attention. It seems to have happened on the farm belonging to Carl, a friend of your family. Whatever that disturbing feeling is, it's coming from Carl's farm.

Your curiosity gets the better of you. Sprinting as fast as you can (which is rather fast) you rush to Carl's farm. The cold feeling becomes more intense the closer you get, and, the gunshot you hear before reaching the farm doesn't do wonders for your nerves, either.

It takes a moment for you to process what you're seeing when you arrive. You see Carl's truck parked near a large hole in the ground. Carl himself is sprawled on his back next to the truck, his gun lying beside him. A tall man with long, dark, spiky hair and strange clothing (you think you might be going crazy, but it looks like he has a furry tail, too) stands only a few feet from Carl, a scowl on his face as he touches some weird screen over his eye.

Your concern for Carl outweighs your fear of this stranger, and so you throw caution to the wind and run to the farmer's side.

As they get closer, you can see that you were right about the green man being one of the people you were sensing. The other man is pretty odd looking, but in a different way. For one thing, he seems to be riding on a cloud. He has black spikey hair like the stranger, but it's much shorter.

The two keep coming, the green man landing in front of you and the other man hovering in front of you on the cloud.

The green man does not look happy.

"I thought I told you to go home!" he shouts. "Stupid kid, are you trying to get yourself killed?"

"Piccolo, that's enough," the other man tells him. He fixes his gaze on you, smiling. "Hi! I'm Goku, what's your name?"

You do as Goku says and hop onto the back of the cloud. It rises into the air, carrying the two of you with it. With Piccolo beside it, the cloud flies in the direction of Raditz. The wind blows into your face, and you feel a bit disoriented by the sensation of flight. At the same time however, it feels amazing. You wrap your arms around Goku's leg to keep from falling as the cloud zips through the sky.

"So, Goku, honestly, how are we going to beat this guy?" Piccolo asks from your right.

"I've been thinking about that," Goku responds, sounding serious now. "But honestly, we won't know for sure how to do things until we get there."

"So essentially, we're going in blind," Piccolo sums up. "We have no strategy and no idea what this guy is really capable of."

The rest of the flight stays just as silent, and a few minutes later, you find yourself flying above Carl's farm, Raditz standing below you and looking up.

Piccolo and the cloud shoot downward, Goku leaping off and landing next to Piccolo. You leap off after him and land between the pair, the three of you facing Raditz.

"Well, the gang of rejects is all here," Raditz comments. "My scouter told me there were two other power levels with you, Kakarot. I didn't expect them to belong to these two."

Goku and Piccolo stay silent, glaring at Raditz.

Raditz throws back his head, his body shaking with his laughter. "Is that right? You think that you three weaklings stand a chance against me?"

His expression goes from amused to irritated in an instant. "I'll give you one more chance to do as I've told you. I suggest you take it."

Goku says nothing, his eyes remaining locked with Raditz's.

"You should listen to your big brother, Kakarot," Raditz tells him.

"As far as I'm concerned, I don't have a brother!" Goku shouts. "My name is Goku, and this is my home!"

"I see," Raditz says, his eyes narrowing.

The wind picks up around you, and Piccolo tenses next to you.

"You're a disgrace to all Saiyans! Prepare to die!" he shouts at Goku.

Piccolo puts one foot back and brings his hands up, getting ready for a fight.

"I don't want to fight you, Raditz," Goku tells the man who is apparently his brother. "Give me back my son and leave this planet in peace!"

"I was hoping that his son would work as a means of persuading him to join me," Raditz explains. "But, it seems he's even more foolish than I thought."

"I'm not going to ask you again, Raditz!" Goku yells. "Where is my son?"

"You want to take one final look at him?" Raditz asks. "Very well, he's behind me, tucked away safely in my ship."

Goku slowly rises into the air, looking down in the hold behind Raditz. His eyes widen at whatever he sees down there.

"Gohan! Just sit tight, daddy's coming!" he promises.

"Your delusions aren't funny, Kakarot!" Raditz growls.

Goku comes back to the ground, focusing on Raditz once again.

"I think you're underestimating us," he tells his brother.

"Am I really?" Raditz asks. "I hope you're able to back up your words."

In response Goku....removes his clothes. Taking off his gi, he quickly pulls off the blue shirt beneath it and tosses it to the side. He then takes off his wristbands and boots before putting his gi back on.

Piccolo takes off his turban and cape, tossing both to the side. They hit the ground with a thud.

"So, you use weighted training clothes as well?" Goku asks.

"You thought you were the only one?" Piccolo asks in return.

Raditz begins laughing once again. "Do you really think that tiny increase in power is going to make a difference?"

He scowls. "I've had enough of this idiocy, get ready to die!"

Goku and Piccolo drop into fighting poses.

You stay right where you are, not moving a muscle. You keep your eyes on Raditz, and on either side of you, you know that Goku and Piccolo are doing the same.

Raditz smirks, his eyes travelling across all three of you. Then, he suddenly just...disappears. An instant later, you hear both Goku and Piccolo cry out in surprise, and see them stagger forward, slightly hunched over.

Spinning around, you find Raditz standing over you, his elbows raised after having just struck two of his foes in their backs.

He continues to smirk, his eyes leaving Goku and Piccolo to rest on you.

Goku and Piccolo disappear just like Raditz did, and an instant later attack him from behind. They have far less luck than he did, as Raditz kicks each of them in the face and sends them spinning away. They recover quickly and charge at Raditz, who quickly shoots into the air, his enemies in pursuit.

With Raditz busy fighting Goku and Piccolo, you slide down into the hole, finding a large, round object at its center; Raditz's ship.

Inside, you see a little boy. He looks to be about your age, and also absolutely terrified. He slams his tiny fists against the glass, tears streaming down his face as he tries desperately to get out.

The ground shakes, and you hear explosions behind you. You have no idea what happened, and you're not sure you want to. For now, you focus on finding a way to get the kid out of the ship. You have no idea how it works, but you think you might be able to break through it, so long as you're careful not to hurt Goku's son.

That would have seriously hurt a normal person, but you get away with only a few scrapes. The kid, understanding what you were trying to tell him, covered his face, though he still received a few nasty cuts. Still, you think he'll be okay.

He steps out of the ship, still bawling. "My hands hurt! Where's my daddy?"

"In a few moments, he'll be joining you two brats in hell!" a voice says just above you.

Looking up, you see a very angry looking Raditz glaring down at you. Slowly, he raises his left hand above and behind his head. Some sort of ball of light appears in it.

"I was going to show this attack to the green man earlier," he tells you. "It's one of my personal favorites; perfect for exterminating pests like you."

You're not sure what this attack of his is, but you get the feeling you don't want it to hit you.

Quickly grabbing Goku's son, you leap from the pit as Raditz throws his hand forward.

"Double Sunday!" he screams as the ball of light is thrown from his hand and into the pit.

You and Goku's son make it out just in time to avoid the blast. As it is, the shockwaves throw you away from the pit, causing the two of you to land side-by-side on your faces as a blindingly-light explosion erupts behind you.

"My ship!" Raditz cries out in rage.

You roll over to see him trembling in anger, his hateful gaze focused entirely on you. He raises his right hand, and a red ball of light and what looks to be some sort of lightning forms in it.

"Let's see you dodge this one!" he challenges.

Just before he can unleash his attack, the screen on his face flashes. His eyes widen, and his head snaps in the direction of Goku, who is high above the ground, his hands together and glowing with a blue light.

"What?" Raditz shouts in shock. "Power level nine-hundred and fifty? And it's getting higher?!"

Goku yells, and a blue beam of light shoots from his hands, heading right for Raditz. Raditz quickly drops to the ground and starts running, the beam of light quickly gaining. Raditz turns towards it at the last moment and thrusts his hands at it. There I a great flash of light, and a cloud of dust obscured your vision of Raditz.

When the dust settles, you see that Raditz is breathing heavily, but unscathed.

You know that you don't stand a chance against Raditz. You also know that Goku wanted to save his son more than anything else. With those thoughts in mind, you take Gohan and start to run.

"Wait! What's happening?" he asks. "Daddy!"

"Brother! Let me show you a real attack!" you hear Raditz shout, followed by Goku screaming in pain.

"Daddy!" Gohan cries, fighting against your grip and trying to run towards his father.

You try to pull Gohan away, but find yourself getting pulled towards Goku, who has fallen to the ground, instead. In an instant, Raditz is towering over you and Gohan, raising his right hand once again.

"Now, where were we?" he asks.

His screen flashes again.

"Oh, what now?!" he demands, turning to his left. "What? That's impossible!"

Following his gaze, you see Piccolo, missing one arm, his remaining hand raised to his head, two fingers pressed against his temple and crackling with electricity.

"Thirteen-hundred and ten? I can't block that!" Raditz shouts, sounding legitimately concerned. He growls and throws a hand into the air, thumb jerking behind him. "Alright green man, let's see what you've got!"
