“Alright…” you say wonderingly.

Stepping towards the door quickly but quietly, you fling it open and reach out to grab whoever it is. However, your hand is grabbed before it can get anywhere by a set of small but equally as powerful hands. You nearly end up tossed head over teakettle before you manage to shift your weight back and apply your own muscles to stop whoever it is. You end up in a brief tugging match before you realize something.

You’re playing tug-o-war with a tiny pale haired girl.

“Gnh,” she says, well really she grunts it as she tries to lever you off the ground.

“Gnh yourself,” you say, trying to pull her your way but not making any headway despite her small size.

“Are you two going to keep playing like that all day?” calls Akeno’s amused voice from the couch.

“I’m not stopping until she isn’t trying to fling me somewhere,” you say.

This gets you a bit of a glare from the girl, she’s obviously not used to having to try so hard to throw people around.

You look at the girl, who doesn’t seem to quite want to let go yet.

“I’ll stop if you do,” you say.

“Do you mean it?” she asks you softly, “when you do that?”

“Mmm,” she says, her head now on your chest, her eyes closed, “you should teach me.”

You take a chance and begin patting her head lightly.

“I’ll do that if you want,” you say softly, “But not like mine did.”

You keep stroking her, but you don’t receive a reply. Looking down, you see that she’s fallen asleep, breathing lightly as she leans against you.

Looking up gets you a wide grin from Akeno, who leans in and kisses you on the cheek.

“You’re a good man John Galt,” she whispers, before there’s another flash.

As soon as you speak, the image begins to scroll closer, almost like it did when you met Akitsu.

Your friend glances at it as well, apparently curious.

(They are eager to have you back) she says, smiling at you.

“They’re what?” you say turning towards her.

(You’ll see) she says once more, before you’re suddenly jerked out of the null zone.

With a flash, you find yourself in the middle of what is apparently a raging battle, with all sorts of beings around you. Many of them appear to be angels of various sizes and shapes, which you guess means they’re probably more or less powerful than the others. On the other hand, you see many humans fighting back against the angels, which you guess means the angels aren’t quite as powerful as they would be in your world. Looking around, you can’t find any of whoever you’re looking for, at least until you hear someone calling your name.

“JOHN!” you hear, “JOHN GET YOUR CUTE LITTLE BUTT OVER HERE AND HELP ME OR SO HELP ME I WILL…”

Turning, you see an angel with long, distinctive blue hair duck the swing of a small dude with a big hammer, before throwing a blast of magic back at him.

This is just before another distinctive angel, with blue armor, detaches from fighting a totally different group of angles and flies right towards you and then you see a dark figure suddenly teleport in out of nowhere.

Your mind is suddenly overwhelmed with images. Soft bodies, gorgeous features, impossibly smooth skin, combined with amazing power and gentleness that you almost half expected not to exist despite everything.

Elizasleyn, Melodiana and Ragsmuena are all here. That just leaves Mehisha somewhere else, you’ll have to find her as soon as you can.

“John!” yells Melodiana, moving close to you and turning her back, protecting you from whatever may come your way.

“John…” Ragsmuena nearly whispers, forming a triangle with you and Melodiana.
“JOHN!” yells Elizasleyn once again, clearly not at ease in a close combat fight.


Someone from the human side finally notices all of you. Actually, he seems to notice Ragsmuena and since you’re standing next to her, you get involved by default.


“REAPER!!!!!” he yells, the call taken up by many of the already clearly strained humans, their visages almost cracking in fear.

This also draws the attention of many of the other angels as well as a group that had been fighting near Elizasleyn and the short guy with the hammer. They clearly look like protagonists or at least important side characters.

There’s a lull, just enough for all the spare attention on the battlefield to focus on you. You feel a weight on your side, so you draw your sword cleanly, holding it loosely in your hand.

“Alright,” you say, bringing your hand up in front of you, “Which of you wants to go first.”

Was fun as always. The thread schedule is hard to follow, but if you can let us know the day before we can make it work.

Are we going to revisit these canons again back in our universe? Would be fun to spar with Koneko sometime, we do need to learn more unarmed stuff in case we lose our sword.

Oh and did you expect us to go for the angels first? The first vote was all over the place and that would have been the powergamey option. I like how things turned out though.
