You briefly consider making hamburgers and fries as you look through the fridge but figure Ice cream was bad enough for one day and settle on the chicken with some vegetables. You pull it out of the fridge and set it on the countertop as you head out back and fire up the grill, you get a solid fire going, grateful your dad keeps charcoal on hand at all times, and head back inside. You pull the chicken out and start seasoning it, making sure to not add too much of anything.

You set that off to the side and begin chopping and cooking vegetables, you pick out broccoli, corn, and potatoes. You take care to season it enough so that it’ll have flavor but never get out of hand with anything.

Once satisfied you go outside, happy to see the fire’s died down and you have a solid bed of coals burning, you grill the chicken. Before long you see a curious Kat out of the corner of your eye, attracted by the smell.

Her mouth is literally watering, “Is it almost ready..?” she asks hopeful.

“Yeah, just got to finish these up and then we should be good,” You hum happily, you got a good feeling about this, if she thought the eggs and bacon was good…
