I am Daniel Speltin, top tier waste of potential and mid tier student, all round unimportant person about town.I kick against the linoleum of the floor, frustrated. The stench of disinfectant, burnt flesh and blood fill emergency room.Claire paces between the rows of chairs, muttering to herself. It's been hours, Mia was ushered through the sliding door when we arrived, nurses talking to her in hushed tones, leaving the two of us in the dark. The TV in the corner blares some shitty late night sitcom, blasting tinned laughter, as it remains frozen on some public channel. It grinds at my ears, as Claire keeps pacing back and forth, looking increasingly agitated and annoyed. "Supa Scurrry!" cries some catchphrase. I grit my teeth.I stare at the phone in my palm, Mia left hers with me, nurses orders. Claire has started kicking at the bolted down chairs now, the weak metal strains under her blows, drawing looks from the nurses. One man at his desk, behind the laser proof glass, eyes a red button on the counter.>Take Claire outside>Stay here and wait for Mia to come out>Write in

I kick out of the chair, grabbing Claire by the shoulders softly. She tries to shrug me off and keep pacing, but with a few gentle tugs, she concedes.I lead her over to the desk, quickly explain to tne nurse that we'll be outside if Mia comes for us, before walking through the sliding door. The late spring air is warm, frogs creak and croak in the night, looking for a mate, as cars bustle out of the city after a night of partying, heading back to the suburbs.Claire exhales angrily, punching a wall and leaving a spiderwebbing series of cracks along it. "God DAMN it." She yells, wailing on the wall again. "WHY won't THEY- LET- US- IN?" she yells, punctuating the last few words with a series of punches to the wall, her hair blowing around her in the soft wind. She spins on her feet, turning to face me, stomping the foot path, unleveling a few bricks as she does so. "We need to do something. Anything! I'm losing my mind!">What do

>>35561784Try to calm her down by telling her we'd just get in the way of the doctors
I step in close, a hand on either side of her face. "Shhh-sh-sh." I say, semi soothingly, tucking her head into my shoulder. "We'd just get in the way if we were inside. Can't you think of something to occupy yourself?"She steps out of my grip, still looking angry. She snakes her hands under my armpits and bodily lifts me. "Yes I can." She starts walking, dragging me into a somewhat darkened garden, pushing me against the wall of the emergency room entrance, she drops me.I nearly fall, as I hit the floor, staggering against her for balance. She just pins me backwards. "You're going to fuck me. Now!" She commands, tugging at her shorts in the half light, angry glint still in her eyes.>Write in

I grip at the waistband of her shorts, struggling to pull them back up. "Claire no." I tell her, quietly, but firm. "Not while Mia's mum might be.... hurt."She moves her hands, squeezing at my crotch. "Come ON! I need to blow off steam." I take advantage of this to tug her clothes back up, before swatting her hands away. I wrap her in a hug, "Not now." I reaffirm, kissing her forehead. Claire growls and punches the wall again, splintering another chunk of concrete. We stand in silence for half a minute, before the door can be heard rattling open. Light footsteps scuffle along the pavement, until Mia appears around the side of the building, taking timid steps. I let go of Claire and quickly run over. Even in the poor light, I can tell her face is red and puffy, tears have left salty trails down her face, caught on the edge of her lips, still burgeon in her soft blue eyes.>Write in

I step in closer, wrapping arms around her softly, Claire instantly joining in, anger fading. We hold the small girl, as she shakes silently in our grip. Claire rubs her back reassuringly, as we wait for her to say something. She just stands arms limp at her side, for god knows how long, tears soaking into my shoulder once more. Eventually she mutters something, inaudible, the only part I catch is "wheelchair" and a cold chill settles in my stomach. She slowly lifts her arms, squeezes once, before pulling away, wiping snot and tears on her jacket sleeve.>Write in
Guys, do we heal them or not?If yes, when?If not, why?
>>35562191I'm thinking no because there are too many unknowns with Claire's healing powers, and if the hurt transfers to her, then we traded one cripple for another.Besides, now Mia can work towards drawing her mom some permanent awesome exoskeleton legs or the worlds greatest wheelchair
>>35562191If we heal her we run the risk of Claire then having to be in a wheelchair and that would literally ruin her life. Not worth. Some things just can't be fixed with superpowers Anons. We're not here to fix, we're here to help.
>>35562202Mia's drawings are invariably temporary. Think we might have to see how far Claire can push her powers on this one.
>>35562172"Mia, we're here for you if you want to go back in to her or go somewhere else, we'll be there, just say it. If theres a way to help, we'll find it, it may take some time, but we will."
>>35562202Like that magical girl powered prosthetic leg from that one Drill Jill manga?
>>35562215>Mia's drawings are invariably temporaryOnly because we know so little about them or how they work we haven't figured out something permanent yet, maybe if she drew something in concrete.>Think we might have to see how far Claire can push her powers on this one.Fuck no we are not risking Claire's life for this, we'll help but we are not doing that. We don't even know how bad it is or whether she can get help from superscience hospital that's used to dealing with heroes and villains
>>35562233No idea what that is but it sounds half decent
>>35562211Do Claire's healing powers transfer damage back to her? I don't remember that being the case. This is all rather dependent on the nature of her wounds themselves. Are we talking severed ligaments, or spinal damage level stuff here?
>>35562252We simply don't know enough about her powers to even consider experimenting with something this big, that's like detonating a nuke just because we don't know the atomic composition of Lithium 6
>>35562252We don't know for certain but we've seen some suspicious behaviour from Claire that indicates it might. Remember when we healed Rosa's ribs? Claire was clutching her side in pain a few threads after.
>>35562259>a few threads afterThat's a pretty huge gap in time, and considering Claire's general life-style she could have bruised herself in some normal way. We should at least figure out what the damage to Mia's mom is. If it's something the body could conceivably heal on it's own with enough time we could at least consider it.
>>35562245Given that this world runs off anime cliches, I somehow don't think that giving Mia's mom the same prosthetic as a girl who gets raped by big-dicked futas daily is a good idea.On the plus side, Mia's mom would be netori'd away from Dave, who is nearly as suspicious as Empty the cat.
>>35562293>If it's something the body could conceivably heal on it's own with enough time we could at least consider it.Yeah no we're not crippling our girlfriend even for a few months/years
>>35562321This. We're not heroes.

It might take some time, but we WILL find it." You promise her.Claire nods, "Whatever it takes."Mia sniffles, looking back at the door. "Rosa... said... that Claire fixed her ribs?" She mumbles. "When you two, did something?"She looks devastated, as she stands in the light pouring out from the waiting room, bathed in soft white from the halogen lights, the hospital whirrs away quietly, the frogs croak on, traffic whooses past.>Write in
>>35562335Tell her we can try. We haven't tested the healing power enough to know its limitations.
>>35562321I meant we could see if we could use Claire's abilities to speed up the process by healing her incrementally. Patch her up a tendon or two at a time, and let Claire recover between sessions so she can operate normally in day to day life. Either way I wanna know what the fuck happened to her.
>>35562335We need info on the nature of her injuries before we can do anything. If Mia can't tell it straight find the doc who patched her up.
>>35562335Let's try it out. If Claire didn't notice "broken ribs" during the healing process, then chances are it just works.Maybe what >>35562358 suggests

It is something that requires more information to make a decision on, and as much as I would like to have Claire try, we simply do not know enough to help right now. I try to explain, "I really do want to Mia, I promise. But we just don't know what will happen if she tries. We don't know how much she can heal. Or if it hurts her back, or-""I'm FINE!" Claire cuts in, "I wanna heal her."I sigh, "Well... Mia, could you maybe tell us what happened to her?" I ask as gently as possible. She swallows, blinking her tears away, she chokes out. "Her... spine, it's all messed up, metal chunk landed on her car. And her legs they're all..." She makes a face, "Twisty."Claire steps forward, kissing the shorter girl. "I'll do it!" She looks over at me, "C'mon Danny." Her hand extends to me.>Write in
>>35562458"Claire, take it slow in small steps, we don't know what will happen, so be careful and start with the small stuff and tell me everything you feel as you do it. Start with her leg's and take it slow and cautious okay?"
>>35562458Take Claire's hand, and let's go.
>>35562458Find a doc who can describe the damage in detail, and why she should be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Not that I don't trust Mia to give an accurate prognoses, but the poor girl has been through a hell of a lot recently.
This anon's got to run some errands for a few hours, don't fuck up anons, this shit is serious.
>>35562458If she is going to do it, we do it slowly, starting with correcting the spine.Need to restrain claires enthusiasm, as this is more then a busted rib. If it almost knocks her out almost, doing steady improvements is best.
>>35562458>>35562484ThisAnd we need some monitoring gear hooked up to Claire to make sure nothing bad happens and if it looks like it might we stop.>>35562489>starting with correcting the spine.>Go straight for the most dangerous...Don't be stupid anon, start with her legs and slowly build up.

>doing it now>in the hospital>where everyone can see, hear, record and ask what's happening>we're noticed>media attention>become heroes>twisted into villains because scumbag classmate bulliesYeah good job.
>>35562509This is good, we need Claire to tell us about all the previous times she's healed using her powers and to talk us through this, we need to stop her if things get out of control or go bad.>>35562458I'll second >>35562500 & >>35562522
>>35562532>>35562593To be completely honest, if we did turn into villains, we'd at least get the required set of magic bullshit that comes with it. Which we could use for our "villainous" goal to, say, remove all of this supernatural bullshit from the town.
For the record, nerve tissue doesn't really regenerate naturally, so if anything is going to fail, it's probably that. It's kind of why spinal damage is such a big deal. Claire seems to be fine with most other kinds of tissue, but we have no precedent to indicate she can fix something on this scale. Make no promises, other than maybe trying. Claire's reckless as fuck, so we need to be her voice of reason, no matter how much we all want to help. Maybe we tell Mia what the odds are, but not Claire - wouldn't want to mess up her odds because we made her doubt herself. I agree with trying to hook up Claire with to some monitoring equipment, but I also agree that doing this right here, right now, might be a bit risky. If we can get around that somehow (maybe with Eri's help, if she can share invisibility? or maybe using Mia's barrier?) we should at least agree to try.
>>35562606>doing this right here, right now, might be a bit risky.Yeah, the most we should do now is just experiment a tiny bit, get as much info as we can and setup to get all the monitoring equipment and stuff and prepare to make sure we won't be seen or recorded and take this slow
>>35562458WE CAN'T DO IT FUCKING HEREGod dammit I leave for three hours and a thread appears and you fucks fuck everything upYes, we should try and see what we can do, but we can't do it right here and right now, fucking hell.
>>35562458Do we know if she's stable? If not we could probably do that much in the meantime without getting caught.
I take Claire's hand and follow them back inside. Mia asks for us to be let through and the nurse nods, buzzing the door open.Inside, Mia leads through a ward, where you come to a shared room, a quarter drawn closed by a hanging sheet, for privacy. Dave sits in the bedside chair, staring dead ahead at a wall, eyes dull, he doesn't even acknowledge Mia's return, nor Claire and I. Mia's mum lies on the bed, hooked up to a breathing machine and IV, underneath the sheets, her legs seem to be pointing at angles that make my stomach feel queasy, her arms and face are bloodied, cut and bruised. The once vibrant women looks broken.I ask Mia where he doctor is, ducking out to find her. The serious looking woman explains that a sheet of metal from the shining miracle super forces robot was torn loose, and flung a whole block in their last battle. It just so happen to fly directly into Mia's mum's car, crushing the hood and her midsection. "She's lucky to be alive, really." She adds. "But she'll have to be in a wheelchair, if- when she wakes up."I thank her quietly and scurry back, drawing the curtain behind me. Dave still stares, dead to the world, slumped on a palm. Claire cracks her neck, before offering me her palm.>Not now>Try small, fix the legs>Go big, fix her spine

>>35562699I'll say it one more time: don't do anything drastic before we can figure out what the effect will be.
>>35562699>Try small, fix the legsConsidering how prevalent heroes and their accidents are in this city, would the doctors really be too surprised at someone in a hospital receiving magical healing?Rosa didn't want an obvious healing because she wanted to keep her superpowers discreet, but that was mostly at MT's urging.

"Just... maybe try and start small?" I ask, "Like her legs." Claire nods, holding her hand out again.I look between the two girls and Dave, before taking her hand. Mia slides the near papery bedsheet down.I cringe instinctively, while Claire holds fast. There's no way her bones are intact, the legs are twisted and shredded in a manner that would throw off even the weirdest cripple fuckers. Bits of bone protrude skin out in random places all along her legs, even under the bandages.Claire takes a deep breath and lays her free han on the woman's thigh. She squeezes my palm and a look of concentration descends over her.A piece of bone descends, moving back to what seems to be a healthy position. Claire smiles grimly, despite her concentration, as another pops back downwards on the other leg.She squeezes tighter and tighter, hurting my hand, until she screams in pain. Her hand slips loose and she collapses to the floor, howling in pain. She clasps at her legs, still screaming, as Dave snaps out of his reverie, looking around.I kneel down and try to help Claire, shifting her hands aside to see what's happened to her.Her legs look fine, no twists or protruding bone, just regular toned and tanned Claire legs. But she grips them and screams all the same.>What do
>>35562927Some anons seem to forget that there's a few shades of difference between "villain" and "concerned citizen". The latter are still background characters.
>>35562963This reminds me of Zoro taking Luffy's pain
>>35562963>Her legs look fine, no twists or protruding bone, just regular toned and tanned Claire legs. But she grips them and screams all the same.Hm. Seems like a variation of sympathetic healing where she doesn't take on the injury but she feels the pain.
>>35562963Embrace tightly, rubbing back.>"Don't worry Dave, nothing to concern yourself with"
>>35562989Yeah true. This is definitely not good.
>>35562963Get her something to bite down on that won't break her teeth or bleed, and hold her still while she works it off. That pretty much settles it, I should think: even if it doesn't break her, letting her do that to herself again wouldn't be right, nor would asking her to do it
>>35562963First, Get her to let go.Secondly, we need to see what's going on Therefore third, get Mia to draw up some xray specs so we can see what's happening to Claire's legs.
>>35562983is that a thing? i gave up on one piece at like episode 15
>>35563001She might be able to manage if she paces her self over a period of time. Like, a week, minimum. Not sure what would happen if we let her try the spine though.
>>35562997We are in a hospital correct? Is there anything here we could access that could help lessen Claires pain?
>>35563017I think this is a good long term plan. In the meantime, Claire's done as much as she can, let's head home and start googling the insurance policies available to mecha teams.
>>35563029If it's sympathetic, then no. Dulling the pain through any conventional means should be impossible. Healing a spine piecemeal is also a bad idea.
>>35563029If we give her painkillers she'll want to carry on, which is definitely not happening.>>35563002This. Take off our jumper and roll up a sleeve so she can bite down on it.

We should probably see if Mia can get that barrier up. I vaguely remember it being soundproof?
>>35563094that's a good idea anon
>>35563127Only if we can get it to work. I think it was based on fear, so she should have plenty to work with, but the only power she's trained has been materializing her art.
>>35562963So should we stop or keep going guys? We've barely even started and she's in this much pain
>>35563160>should we stopHell fucking yes we should stop.
>>35563137...Having said that, I kind of don't want to make her do it. Most of the other powers we've discovered come from negative emotions. Not fun.
>>35563160Not really a question. Yes, we stop. Even if there's no actual injury, pain puts stress on the body.
>>35563160Do you even need to ask?Fuck no we don't keep going.
>>35563160Claire's decision. If it's only pain that she suffers and not actual injury then there's no reason not to
I pull upright into a sitting position, whipping my shirt off and balling it into her mouth. It helps muffle her screams, as well as stopping her biting anything. She twists and writhes as I hug my arms around her, trying to hold her still, but mostly being shaken like a rag doll.I refuse to let go of her however, holding her as she screams the pain out. Mia just keeps apologising over and over again, as my glasses get shaken loose, clattering to the floor. Dave shouts back confused as to what the hell is happening, as he draws his wifes blankets back up.Mia's breath is starting to come ragged and uneven now, she flops to her knees, hyperventilating and gripping her head, apologising endlessly. Eventually Claire stops, going limp in my grip, exhausted, her eyes focus lazily on me, as I slowly lay her down on my lap.Dave stares expectantly, leaning over the bed, while Mia trembles.>Write in

>>35563254To elaborate on comforting Mia: Claire knew the risks and was willing to take it because she wanted to help. No one is going to hold it against her, and Claire is a sturdy girl. Thankfully, she heard us out, and we didn't end up with Claire suffering some kind of paralysis.

I lie Claire down fully on the linoleum, retrieving my sodden shirt from her mouth with a soft 'pwah' sound as I remove it.I tug the shirt on, before moving to hug Mia. "It's okay. It isn't your fault. Claire wanted to help, and probably would have tried even if you hadn't asked." I pull her hands down soflty, turning her chin to look at me. Her eyes are still screwed shit, and more tears are running down her face, her breath still hitching in and out. "It's. Not. Your. Fault." I repeat, slowly and gently. Her hyperventilating slows, but she curls up in a foetal position. "What the hell are you doing!" Dave hisses, rubbing the bags under his eyes.I look, from the two near catatonic girls to the man. "Dave, I am trying really hard to handle this. Just... could you give me a minute."He just looks angry, "Giv- yo- min-" He runs fingers through his hair. "My wife is dying right in front of me, and you want me to give YOU a minute!?" Mia curls up tighter, her trembling redoubles.

>>35563470Well, since Claire's legs didn't immediately get fucked up in response, let's assume that it's some sort of resonance backlash or pain transferal rather than actual wound transferal. Get Mia to hook us up with some drawn morphine and hope to God it holds?
>>35563470"Shut UP, Dave. That's exactly WHY we need a minute - we're trying to help. Now, can you handle being cool for a minute, or can't you?""
>>35563470"I'm doing a lot fucking more than you could, so why don't you shut up and sit down before you make things worse."
>>35563470>"Yes. Because Claire wants to save your wife, she used her powers regardless of the fact that she could horrible maim or even kill herself by doing so. I have one girl having a panic attack and another who is unconscious because she just went through the pain of her legs shattering to pieces and then shifting back to heal themselves. So yes, I think it's more than reasonable for you to give me a minute. If you want to yell at someone, yell at that little shit Sheen who's responsible for all of this."
>>35563611>I'm doing a lot fucking more than you couldBad. We don't wanna antagonize him that much.
>>35563587>administering morphine without training to get our girlfriend to keep up a process we don't really understand granted to her by powers we still don't understand, but which definitely causes her enough pain to leave her nearly catatonicI'm ashamed to be a member of the same species as you.
>>35563587Maybe we should find out what happened on Claire before we continue this. Pain is an excellent way for your body to tell you to stop.
>>35563631I want to know him down, and then stomp on his face. He can't keep himself from panicking and lashing out at the most convenient target, and he deserves at least a dozen lashes, the stupid incompetent shit.
>>35563618Too much info. We're trying to avoid getting the girls dragged out into the open. Also, don't point out the girl's condition - Mia's already pretty sensitive to that.
>>35563654 I get that, but if Dave is too panicked to be of any use we need to be the adult in the room. That doesn't (shouldn't at least) involve stomping people underfoot.
>>35563587please dear god don't ever let this person near a hospital
>>35563470Reminder: Whatever else we do or say, we have to keep an eye on how the girls are handling this.
>>35563470Full on four-limb hug around Mia
>>35563671His panicking is putting stress on Mia and making the problem worse. He needs to be neutralized as a contributor to the crisis, before he makes it worse, by putting him down and making sure he stays down. Putting a foot down on his neck would be most satisfying.
>>35563723And also get us kicked out of the hospital and we'd probably never see Mia again. Get your shit together.
>>35563723>by putting him down and making sure he stays down.Yeah, bet Mia would love THAT. TOTALLY won't upset her at all. She might not like the guy, but she doesn't wanna be the cause of any of this crap. Gotta let cooler heads prevail here anon, for everyone's sake.
>>35563723People will cave to someone they perceive as the authority in the room. Even something as straightforward and simple as >>35563558 could do the job with proper delivery.

"Dave, SHUT up." I growl. "I'm trying to help for exactly that reason, and the doctors don't know she's dying. Now can you leave me the hell alone, while I help Mia?"He leans across the bed and slaps me across the face. "GET! OUT!" he screams. "Why did they even let you in? You're just some snot nosed little shit! You think you know how to raise my kid better than me." "Mia's not your kid." I retort, rubbing the burning skin. His eyes narrow dangerously, he walks around the bed, stepping on my glasses, accidentally or not, I'm not sure. "Yeah, well she's my fucking responsibility, and I have every fucking right to fucking get you fucking kicked the fuck out!" He hisses, standing over the three of you.Claire grabs at his ankle weakly, but he quickly shakes her loose.>Write in
>>35563824>"Dave, SHUT up." I growl. "I'm trying to help for exactly that reason, and the doctors don't know she's dying. Now can you leave me the hell alone, while I help Mia?"Well, that's a response that anyone would be perfectly amenable to.
>>35563785Age is usually irrelevant. What it comes down to is that during a crisis, people look to two things: who's keeping their cool, and who seems to have a plan. Most people are followers, anon.
>>35563824Well, at least now he's acting like the massive asshole that his character is based off of.
>>35563824Have sex with Mia. Look straight in John eyes. Assert dominance. Ask for a hot chocolate.
>>35563824"Mia, we could use your bubble now. Dave, if you want to sit here being useless and watch your wife, Mia's mother, waste away then go and do that, but I'm trying to help here."

>>35563933>"Look at her legs damn you, look at her legs and tell me what you see."Now we're getting somewhere. If what healing Claire was able to withstand took, it should be pretty obvious at a glance. We can't just say we're helping, we need to SHOW it.
>>35563824"We're the kids that just fixed your wifes's legs. Seeing as you can't keep it together, while we can, and we're a hell of a lot more to help her then you are, I think calling in the doctors to have YOU kicked out would be for the best."Considering what the doctors here deal with, miraculous healing is probably not as unusual as the laser cannon burns or toxic chemical exposures.
>>35563824"Lashing out at people for trying to help will only hurt Mia and end up KILLING your wife. If you can't accept that, then maybe it shouldn't be your responsibility."

Do you really think you should be kicking us out?" Dave grinds his teeth. He sighs. "Just.... get out. I will ask nicely." He takes a deep breath. "Please. Leave. >>35564548She's having a panic attack. She's not moving.>>35564543Wha?
>>35564427Seconded. The railroad is a bit thick though. Anons kept saying "it might hurt Claire", "we have some evidence Claire hurts", and then>If there's a way we can help, we'll find it. It might take some time, but we WILL find it

>>35564754I really can't stress it enough, I don't think we should be leaving Mia behind. It'll just do more harm than good.
>>35564573Dave's appearance is based on a character who spends half of the source material murdering people and sending them to other dimensions by pushing them through TV screens. He's also heavily misogynistic, sadistic in a non-sexy way, and thinks all kids are useless pieces of shit who are better off dead.
>>35564754Let's try to not draw too much attention.
>>35564754Lets not be so angry about this. It's a shitty situation, but Dave's scared as fuck and he's taking it out on us.>>35564466This, but word it more as "I'm fine with Mia staying here, unless she wants to get some air."
"Fine. We'll leave until you change your mind. But I think Mia should come with us. I've helped when she was like this last time." I tell him, quietly.Dave gives you a grim smile. "Last time, huh? When was that?" I think back. "Two... Three weeks ago?" I think I've got that right.Dave shakes his head. "Well then, it seems you missed a few there champ, ones that me and Janine dealt with. But, if you think you know what's best, go ahead."You look to the blue haired girl, gently asking what she'd prefer, but she gives no answer, other than her trembling slowly decreasing.>Take Mia with you>Leave her here
>>35564754>>35564794Seriously, she can't do anything about it from here, and Dave's not even her father. She'd be better off with her friends, and not in the hospital with a pretender and her catatonic mother.Because leaving someone in the situation that triggered the panic attack isn't the way you deal with it.
>>35564794I also don't want to leave Mia behind, but I think that pulling her away from her mother's side wouldn't be good for her either. Also, I think that this would prove to her that she shouldn't listen to Dave at all because he's an incompetent who can't keep it together when under stress, and being dependent on him is like depending on a rotted out wooden bridge to be safe to cross with a Mack truck.
>>35564835>Take Mia with you
>>35564835>>Take Mia with you
>>35564835Ask Mia where she wants to be.Why the hell is everyone being so fucking rude to Dave. He is having the correct emotional response for when a love one is dying in front of him.
>>35564835>Take Mia with youThe alternative is she can sit here on the floor trembling in silence for however long it takes.
>>35564882This ask Mia where she wants to do. If she wants to spend some time with her mom let her
>>35564835>Take Mia with you.Dave is not in a shape to be dealing with anything.
>>35564882>Ask Mia where she wants to beWe just did that and she didn't reply, though asking seemed to calm her a little. And personally, I didn't vote for any rudeness at all. I just think his head's in the wrong place and he doesn't know how to handle a panic disorder.
>>35564882>He is having the correct emotional response for when a love one is dying in front of him.He is the one preventing aid workers (us and Claire) from properly seeing to the patient and when we've started the healing process, demanding that we get out.He is the exact kind of family relation that needs to be kicked out of the hospital, because he's nothing but a danger to the patient. He can't keep it together, when it's the exact time he needs to be calm to assess the situation. He's not acting logically or rationally, and so he deserves no respect.
>>35564900>>35564882We already asked Mia what she wants, and she didn't reply.>You look to the blue haired girl, gently asking what she'd prefer, but she gives no answer, other than her trembling slowly decreasing. Are you saying we should ask her again, when she didn't reply before?Or did you not read what happened during your first pass through the post?

Someone just freaked out and he's pretty pissed about everything that's been happening. This is not a situation where logic is in great supply. We acted as if what we do is utterly correct and bad shit happened. We tried to help and we might be able to help later, but not right now and not without knowing what happened to Claire.
>>35564835>take mia with you
>>35564835>Take Mia with youDave's not going to be a help to her at all.

>>35565007We're the most calm and in control person here.
I pull Mia upwards, getting her standing, I hold one of her hands as I heave Claire upright as well. She seems unstable on her legs, walking with a definite limp as I drag the two girls out, without another look at the man.Dave sighs, and shuts the curtain behind us, I can hear him collapse back in his chair, soft sobs echo down the hall as nurses and patients watch me pull the two girls along.I ask Claire if she wants a doctor to check her legs, but she just grits her teeth, "Fine. Don't want those nerds touchin' all my goods. They're for you." She seems rather obstinate about it, forcing the limp out of her step, pulling herself off me.I push the button, letting us out through the ward door and into the waiting room, before pushing onwards, into the night air.The stars twinkle overhead, frogs croak, traffic whooshes and Mia pulls her hand out of my grip, sitting in the middle of the footpath, backlit by the lights inside.>Wait here>Take her to her place>Take her to your house>Write in

I ease her back to her feet, just enough to get her to a bench in the shaded garden Claire pseudo molested me in.I zip Mia's jumper up for her, and she tucks her legs up inside it, retreating her arms inside the sleeves as well. She almost resembles a puffy ball by this point, with a blue topping. I feel an insane urge to giggle, before suppressing it, Wouldn't help.Claire and I both hug an arm around Mia and sit in the dim light, listening to the sounds of the night. I notice a new noise, under the frogs and traffic, the faint buzzing of the lamps set about the garden, electricity humming through them, and in the far distance, the sound of splashing water.Across the road, Mr O. chases a bunch of delinquents down, wearing nothing but white pants and a headband with candles in it. >>35567386>Get /fit/ someShouldn't we do that with Claire? I think that it's become a bonding thing with Claire and Danny, that they work out together, and doing it with her after she's had to deal with Dave for 5 hours at the hospital would help her unwind.
>>35567447>implying>>35567375Seconding this one
>>35567447>We don't even know if it was Rosa.In Erica's room last night, no. But we do know that they were talking together and having fun when Erica was working out in the basement. So even if they're not fucking, then they at least enjoyed each others company last time.
>>35567456No, they are not.
>>35567311Ask Erica if she wants some late breakfast. Cook accordingly. Eat and enquire as to what happened last night.
>>35567512It's a matter of taste which you don't have
>>35567577Try keeping your shitposting to a minimum mate
I dry and go hunting for my sister, for once I find her in the garden, sitting in the hammock I strung up between the trees, reading something. Most likely more yuri."Yo." I greet, pulling one of the chairs from the outdoors table around.Eri snorts. "Morning sleepyhead. What kept you out so late?"I shift a little uncomfortably. "I was at the hospital.. Mia stuff." Eri winces. "Whoops. Sorry, I'll.... go easy around her. And so should you, don't go trying to fuck her as a cat anymore. Can't be good for her psyche." She positions her book between her face and mine, as you recall she was there as well... and yet made no mention of that.I clear my throat, "Well, do you want breakfast? I'm cooking."She nuzzles into the hammock a little more, whining. "Unhhhh, but I just go commmmmmfyyyyyy." She sighs, leaves her book and follows me into the kitchen. I set about cooking some omelettes; if I need brotein, Eri really needs it.I set the plates down, not half bad if I do say so mysef. She hungrily starts wolfing hers down. Quite the dainty flower, my sister.>What do?
>>35567772Uh, I thought the plan was to get Rosa and get dancing lessons from her?Call up Rosa, get her to come over, and practice dancing and getting her to learn to control the bursts of magic we cause in her.
>>35567772gently tease her about Rosa. depending on her reaction ask how she is doing.
>>35567772"So what were you up to last night? I thought I heard you giggling."
>>35567772>broteinEven if that wasn't on purpose, good job Chucks>What do?Engage shit eating grin, "So, did you and Rosa have a good time, Eri?"
>>35567772Offer some secret ingredient sauce, then >>35567821"Sorry if I woke you up last night." When she denies, ask what was going on.
>>35567772>"So, what did you get up to yesterday?"
>>35567772Ask her about last night, sounded like she had a friend over. I'm happy for her.
>>35567772Ask how her night was with a knowing grin.Inb4 the girl last night is not Rosa, but our newest background antagonist
>>35567851Let's not make any assumptions.
"Sorry about waking you last night." I tell her between mouthfuls. She shakes her head. "No you didn't." She replies, before her eyes bulge and she hastily shoves more food in her mouth.Heh. "Oh really? What, pray tell, were you doing awake at four AM dearest sister?" I ask, giving her a shit eating grin. "It sounded like you were having a gay old time." "I don't wanna talk about it." She murmurs, shoving yet more egg into her gullet.>Sure you do>Ok, fine>Write in
>>35567973>Sure you do>As long as you are happy with her.
>>35567973>a gay old time HA>Sure you do
>>35567973>Ok, fine>Was it Rosa?
>>35567973>>Sure you do
>>35567973>So, was it MT the cat, or were you just enjoying the other kind of pussy?
>>35567973>Sure you do"But I am happy for you, sis. Wanna share?"In both connotations of "share".
>>35567973>Ok, fineI'm here for you if you ver want to go to the library
>>35567973>Ok, fine"I'm thinking of inviting Rosa over today. Gotta learn how to at least slow dance for the Ball, you know."
"Sure you do." I press her, moving to the fridge and grabbing myself a glass of milk. Gotta get dat bulk after all.Eri just watches me, tight lipped."C'mon, don't you wanna SHARE with your little bro?" I tease. "I did just treat you to a lovely meal.""Shut up." She whispers, leaving the table, heading for her room. "Aren't you gonna grab your book?" I call after her. "Keep it." Comes her terse reply, leaving a third of her omelette untouched. Hmmm, was honestly expecting her to be a bit less tsun tsun there. >Follow her>Go read her book>Call Rosa>See what Mike's doing>Go out somewhere for once
>>35568354>shout after her"If it involves a talking cat I'm going to be PISSED!"
>>35568354>See what Mike's doingI wonder if he knows anything.
>>35568354>Call RosaWell, that went badly.Maybe we should dial down the stupid for now.
>>35568354>>Go read her book
>>35568354>Go read her book
>>35568354>See what Mike's doing
>>35568386> mad because MTMT is love,T is life.we should make more contracts on this quest. MT is bro tier and he has our best interest at his noble heart. If we made our girls make a contract with her, sis; claire and mia would be happy for life. Mia's mom would walk, claire would be super smart, sis would find true love... no drawback.
>>35568540This stopped being funny five minutes after it started.
>>35568606 it still amuses me, cos you guys dont know if hes good or evil or something in between
>>35568354>Follow her"Look I'm sorry I was just being a douche"I'm betting Rosa called our name out and that's why she doesn't wanna talk about it...
>>35568631is he good
>>35568631 He is an jap-australian animal capable of talking. That's like pure evilness.
>>35568677Preventing the heat death of the universe is as good as gets.
>>35568354Call rosa. Ask her to come over and tell her Mia is having probs>>35568631I assume because he hangs around us he is the guardian of the background to keep the MCs as MCs and the BCs as BCs
>>35568354>Go read her bookSurely there's a clue.
>>35568354Call rosa. She already feels pretty isolated from Claire's harem. If we keep her out of the loop she might get upset
I stroll through the house, heading for the backyard. Dad appeared from somewhere, reading the newspaper at the outdoors table.I wave, before rolling into the hammock opening the manga back to where she bookmarked it, instantly greeted by an ahegao. Hmmm, I thumb forwards and backwards a few pages, and sure enough she was reading a yuri hentai. Ah sister of mine.Oh well, I lie back into the recesses of the hammock, enjoying some yuri. I keep the bookmark, the one I stole back for her, and thumb through it, hidden from sight to Dad.Of course I'm not going to jerk it to a rather lazily drawn doujin this close to Dad, so I set the book down again. Seems I got wrapped up in the reading however, as I check my phone, I see two hours passed. Dad's fucked off inside the house, presumably, without me noticing.I still have two and a half hours to burn til the others return though>Write in
>>35568663More likely that Eri called out Dani if anything like that happened.
>>35568800Call Rosa and ask her to come over. We might need an extra hand calming Mia down.
>>35568800>Go talk to Mike.
>>35568800Call Rosa and ask her to come over, for dancing lessons and maybe something more.>lose two hours to just a yuri doujin, no insights into Erica at allThanks guys, for a fucking waste of time.
>>35568800>Go talk to Mike.we havent talked to him much since our paint incident.and dont call Rosa, let Eri handle her for now if there is tension between them.
>>35568800Return book. Ask if she has some with catgirls. For science.
>>35568834I think Mia is calm already, also she isn't actually here.
>>35568800Call rosa to come over then slip the doujin under the door to Eri's room
>>35568887>tension between them. The worry was tension between us and Rosa.Erica's relationship with Rosa is just fine.>>35568951>also she isn't actually here. She will be in two and a half hours, because we wasted two hours reading porn.
>>35569033>because we wasted two hours reading porngee i wonder what thats like
>>35568809I'm pretty sure Rosa calling out Danny is actually more likely.
>>35569033She might also stay at the hospital or something.
>>35569055Yeah, but at least normally you get to masturbate to it. This was two hours of reading smut and not even getting the satisfaction of rubbing one out. This is even more of a waste of time than getting into an internet argument.
>>35568834So far we have been fully capable of calming her down all by ourselves.
I whip my phone out and text Rosa to come over. "Haha sure XS." God I hate when people use emoticons.I consider sarcastically replying with a 'le XD' but decide against it, it would likely on encourage her.... or Claire. Probably Claire.Sure enough, the pink haired girl arrives in a few minutes, and I walk through the house to let her in, slipping the book under Eri's door first."What up, nerd?" She greets me, cupping her hands under her cheeks, a rainbow floating behind her head, the effect put off by her somewhat ratty jeans and hoody.Knowing her apparent richness however, they might be designer 'poor chic' or something. God I hate /fa/.It's at this point I realise I haven't said anything. "Not much for me... but... well.. Mia's mum's in the hospital." I elaborate as much as Mia would probably like."Oh shit dude, that's awful. Wait.... couldn't Claire heal it? Like me?" She asksI shake my head. "We tried that, but.... it seems she takes on the pain from the person she hurts."Rosa looks stunned, grabbing at her ribs. "She took that? But she didn't even scream? Man... she's tough!"I nod, "Well, until they get back, let's >Write in
>>35569134Not to mention that Claire gets horny at the drop of a hat, so much that she wanted us to fuck her up against the hospital wall while Mia's mom was dying in the next room.We could have had two hours of sex and rubbing her abs, instead we spent it reading poorly drawn yuritrash.
>>35569248"What you wanna do?"
>>35569248>Ask if she and Eri are a thing.I must know.
>>35569248Practice dancing, in private, with plenty of wandering hands and lips. In a place that's easy to clean.Danny needs to learn to dance, and Rosa needs to control her magic bursts.
>>35569248>Talk"You wouldn't happen to know what's up with Eri?"
>>35569274>We could have had two hours of sex and rubbing her absOr by inviting Rosa earlier, 4 hours of dancing, feeling her body, eating her out, getting her to try new things, and the cuddling that she was so jealous of before.
>>35569248Practice dancingAlso, as a warning, if you plan on continuing for much longer (looking at the time, not likely, but nevertheless) the thread is on page 10
>>35569274Claire isn't here.
>>35569298>>35569319>>35569324Guys, you realize that each action advances things by hours, not by minutes, right? You want to waste more time?
Eri was fucked by mike
>>35569368Yes. Let's waste some time and rest doing some useless shit. We'll have enough drama when Mia comes and we'll have to find out i we want the train to stay on the rails and hurt her mom or pull the trigger and hurt Claire.
>>35569378No, it was the guidance counselor, who came over because of what she heard from us, and stayed the night because of what Eri did with her.
So I'd like to point out that wheelchairs aren't that bad. Like they are difficult to get used to but hey...
>>35569475but mias family is also pretty poor
>>35569475Yeah, it's probably better than getting Claire crippled by pain.
>>35569445>Let's waste some time and rest doing some useless shitIt doesn't do us any good, it doesn't do Rosa any good, and it's not going to do Mia or Claire any good.
>>35569518So we bring up charges against the robot time force or whatever. Maybe try to get a law passed where all robot crime fighters must relinquish their mechs to the police so that it's not kids dealing with this shit. Fuck if all of the police force has robots it would probably stop a shit ton of the criminals.
"Let's just chill, I need a break." You tell her, leading her to the couch. "Say... you wouldn't happen to know what's up with my sister would you?" I ask innocently.Rosa taps a finger to her lips, "Do I know what's up with Eri....?" She ponders, "Nope, can't say I do." She grins, "Why?">No reason [ ] lets dance [ ] let's fool around>Are you sure>You wanna go mess around with her?
>>35569527Neither does dancing.
>>35569586>Are you sure
>>35569586[ ] let's fool around
>>35569586>[ ] lets dance
>>35569586>Are you sure>You wanna go mess around with her?
>>35569586>No reason>[ ] lets dance>[ ] let's fool aroundWe can do both.
>>35569586[ x] let's fool around
>>35569592There's the big school Ball that's coming up, and we're taking Rosa, Claire, and Mia to it. Do you want to be able to dance with them and make them feel good, or fuck it all up and make them regret it?
>>35569586cuddle, take a nap. We're supposed to wake up early tomorrow.
>>35569586Take her to Eri's room and hang out with her. See if mike wants to join
it is time
>>35569586>No reason[ ] lets dance>You wanna go mess around with her?
>>35569586>No reason[ ] let's fool around
>>35569586Are you sure.
>>35569651? its like you dont want to bang the hot chick
>>35569586>>No reason>[ ] lets dance>[ ] let's fool around
>>35569646Meh, doesn't really seem all that important.
>>35569586>No reason>[ ] lets dance
>>35569586[ ] lets dance
>>35569697Not to you, but it was obviously important to the girls.
do you people not like rosa?
inb4 Erika is interviewing to be a mail order waifu in some distant country.
alright votes close dancing and fooling wins
>>35569733I like her but this isn't really the time for sex. Like duck what if Mia walks in to say her mom just died to find us stuffing it to someone.
>>35569733Not especially, she's kind of creepy. This doesn't really seem like a good time for much of anything.
"C'mon, I need some dancing lessons. (Among other things.)" I add the last part as a murmur, showing her to my room. She starts blaring some gooey romance song off her phone as I click the lock shut. "Alright, well I guess... put your hand here... and hold my hand with your other one.... up here." She positions me, dipping her knees to the beat."How lewd." I comment, only to be shushed. "Aliright, when I go back, you go forward. But you've got to lea- oh who am I kidding Claire's going to lead the fuck out of you." She adds smiling."Hey!" I flick her cheek lightly."It's true!" She laughs, "You might need this for Mia, but Claire will lead you like a cow."I grin back, a wicked edge to my smile, "Cow huh? Big words coming from the udder queen!" I add, nodding to her chest. She just laughs, tugging me backwards and sideways around the room. "Udder queen? That's the best you got? Weee-eak">Honestly yes>Kiss her, hard>Kiss her, tender like>Grab her udders
>>35569733I like her bit not for us, I want her to end up with Eri.
>>35569880>Kiss her, tender like>Knead her ass
>>35569880Better new thread, chuckles.
>>35569880>Grab her uddersLets milk them

>>35569880>Kiss her, hard>Kiss her, hard
>>35569880>Kiss her, tender like
>>35569880>Kiss her, tender likeThrow in a grope or two.
>>35569880Kiss her, gently. Add in a bit of tongue, too.
>>35569880>Grab her udders
>>35570124That would just cause udder defeat
>>35569880>>Grab her uddersMoo!
>>35569880>Kiss her nipples tenderly.
"Honestly, yes." I shrug, "Now, on with the dancing woman!" I snap in mock annoyance.Something heavy slams into Eri's connecting wall, but we ignore it. Rosa leads me through some ballroom, slow dancing 'properly' and some bullshit square dance thing that apparently is a thing that our school allows."Yeah? Hard, huh? Try it in heels some time bitch boy." She pushes me away and I keel over onto my bed. I check my phone, the others should be home any minute."Thanks for the lesson Rosa. It's nice to know a girl that's emotionally-.... well, that doesn't break buildings or summon demons that eat my wallet. Or kick my ass over video game taste."She shrugs, sitting with me. "Not a problem." She plays a hand up the sheets between us. "I just wish well... never mind.""What?" I ask, genuinely curious. She shrugs. "I just wish that I could.... I don't know get some friends... like me? Magical girls? Y'know? It was really lonely for a long while. Just me and MT fighting." I recall a conversation the cat and I had a while back, clearly she doesn't know it was Claire and Mia, that were going to be recruited. She sighs wistfully "MT said something about other girls in town.... that they'd be my friends forever and ever... Then he just stopped talking about them. He just kinda accepted that I should be lonely, I guess. And I guess I will too. In time." She shrugs. "But I have other ways of making people like me.... at least for a while."END OF EPISODE 14
>>35570248Thanks for running Chuckles as always. Dem emotional cliffhangers are the best.
So... does she use magic to make people like her, or fuck them?both seem bad, but in different ways, considering we sexed her the first time we hung out
>>35570248>"But I have other ways of making people like me.... at least for a while."Well that's not ominous.
>>35570248>"But I have other ways of making people like me.... at least for a while."Does this mean that she's lewding with us in exchange for friendship, or does it mean that she has some terrifying mind-control power?
>>35570248Thanks for running, Chuckles.
>>35570330She's talking about her body and her money, you dense anon. All she has is her body to get people to like her. That's why she wants to hang out with us, Claire, and Mia. Because maybe we'll like her for more than just her tits.
>>35570355That's not even a cliff it's a fucking zipline
>>35570248>they'd be my friends forever and evercool, we avoided having the turned into immortal beings. We like her for the udders and glitter, right?
>>35570385>We like her for the udders and glitter, right?I like her because, while she has loneliness issues, she's still more emotionally grounded than Mia or Claire, and can help them keep it together.
>>35570377Attached to two cliffs, anon. Thus, the joke.
>>35570385No, We like her because Claire likes her and the glitter is annoying.
>>35570439We just need to comfort her a lot and make her feel loved. No problem.
wasnt this foreshadowed a while back now i think about itshe seemed transfixed by the documentary about 'not' sailor moon with her sailor scouts
>>35570385I like her because she seems to really like us. Like we have no reason to not like her, she doesn't mope around like Nej, or think herself better then everyone cause she has powers. I assume at one point she was a background character like us with no friends, and she made a deal with MT to be a hero so she could make friends. But since we appear to be the only people who talk to her that must have failed.
>>35570518dont you point that thing at me anonthanks for playing anons, time to sleep, cos its 7am in the blasted spider wasteland
>>35570495I just want to hold her hand, kiss her on the lips, and tell her that she's not alone, she has us, Claire, and Mia now. And her, Claire, and Danny can have that private show she was talking about back at the dress shop, tonight or tomorrow.
>>35570495That probably wasn't a very good deal on her part, she's just constantly wearing herself out and spewing glitter everywhere
