You walk down the road, dust blowing into your now flowing hair, some kids run past chasing a ball, a dog runs past with some kind of bone snarling. You smile as you see what you're looking for, a bar, you think.
Worn down, dirty, and a smell of deathh around it, reminds you of Mr Hida, or the vampire for that matter. You push away these thoughts and move to open the door. Feeling less hot air rushed over you as you walk in. It's filled with men who look like they could eat you alive, or drink with Mrfraust. They stare at the small teenager who invaded their presence, some playing with knifes as they look at you as you sit down on a stool on the bar.

"On water please" you say looking around "On second thought, nothing, don't want to die". the bar looks at you, he looks older than the headmaster.

"this is no place for someone your age" he says.

"How do you know" you say "I could be a really late bloomer"/

"girl, please, this isn't a game" he says sadly

"One bloody mary" You say handing him a hundred dollars. the man shakes his head sadly as he cleans his glass, taking the money and handing you a red drink with a bit of celery stuck in You munch on the celery.

"So what can you tell me about dan hart?" you ask

"he's a bad man" the bartender says

"Any idea where he is?" you ask

"Savanah" he replies

"where, so I know where to stay away" you say smiling widly

"East, but a girl shouldn't go out there, especially one your age" He says "beasties of all kinds, hell you shouldn't be here".

"Oh you know, danger, excitement, stuff like that" You say "seeing the world, want to meet an african warlord"

"You're a strange one" He says "I can get ya as close as I can ta him, need a bit of dosh though".

We can't carry a dozen bottles eihter, just imagine that for a second, we have one backpack, we need to sneak with it, and there is already shit in it, two bottles is already the maximum of it.

And we still need to track across the savannah and sneak with that weight on our back.
>>35399348
A dozen molotws is a) a lot of bottles to stow away somewhere, and we already have a lot of shit in our backpack, its B) the frikkin savannah, so there is a good chance it blows up from the heat, and c) its pretty rikkin heavy for sneaking into a camp.

>>35399450
Molotows don't burn on their own, you still need something to make them burn, and we can easily make the burning stuff at their shitty camp, where they will have gasoline we don't need to carry it across the savannah, we can make the pyros stuff once we have everything else done.

It is more than likely they have gasoline at the camp, for many reasons. They very likely have cars there, and they need gasoline for them. And if they have electricity they have to have a generator, which is more than likely gas-powered.
>>
>>35399467

No, it means at which point it vaporizes to form a gas that can ignite.Nothing automatically ignites on its own when reaching its flash point.

The point from the start was that you need something to ignite the cocktail with, and you started claiming it fucking burns on its own. I at no point changed what this was about.

You wish you had some music, fires are better with music, slow music, dancing music, a nice roof to crush the victims, and maybe a bit of punch.
you whip out your lighter, and light up the sides of the tent before rushing out and scrambling behind a nearby bush to watch it grow and feed on the fumes and tent, while humming a song you burned to a while a go.
Soon shouting fills the night and men run to put out the flames, leaving nearby parts of the camp unguards
including the building that had to guards
you spot Steel eye dan in the distance barking orders, and you think of how easy it would be to take him now. You could also raise paranoia, you love doing that, fear is fun to create, so fun

Your fingers dance across the dart gun, too far, he's across the camp and there is a lot of people and building between you and him. Maybe you could throw a grenade, but that would draw attention.

This place has to much attention on it. So when people run off to get more water to stop it spreading from the nearby tents, You make a break for it, avoiding detection and sliding into a new shadow, behind a rock. You watch them to see the water store, other side of camp, large metal thing, tank yes the word, bright blue and off the ground. Dan is closer and seems to know something the others don't, seeing as he's looking at the empty parts of the camp rather than the populated bits, and keeping his back to a wall. so tempting

You stuff some rifle rounds into your pocket as well as some sharp things to throw (and most likely fuck up with) and turn to leave, not seeing a single pistol among the mass amounts of firearms. Before realizing if this place burns, it will explode, and if it explodes, it will distract them from you getting to another part of the camp. Grabbing one of your previously made molotovs, You light it, leave the tent, and toss it in hard enough to be sure it'll shatter. As you run off, you hear gun fire and shouts once more

"OOOOOH, I'M GONNA WEAR YOU LIKE A COAT BOY" Dan laughs "I'MA WEAR YOU LIKE A FUCKING COAT YOU COWARDLY BASTARD, IT TOOK US MONTHS TO GET ALL THAT, AND YOU BLEW IT UP, BOYS MANN THE SEARCHLIGHTS, THIS SHIT AIN'T LEAVING HERE ALIVE". Ooops. this is going to be fun, and they're to busy trying to find you to stop the fire from spreading to the nearby garage looking tend, wonderful FANTASTIC. You giggle as you run and duck behind a rock, a bullet flying over your head, you peak up and see that some are indeed trying to stop the spread of fire, while Dan is laughing in loudspeakers that are set up around camp.

"COOOOME ON OOOOOUT BOOOOOY" HE sings "WE'LL MAKE YA SQUEEEEEEEL". You thought rednecks died outside of the south, this is a momentous discovery for science.

You're mildly curious as to this new sensation of pain, is this what being shot feels like? fascinating. however you think you've fallen into a state of shock due to the way the world is moving like a really shitty use of slow motion. Dan isn't covered in fire, and is stamping out the last bit of it on his leg as the pain begins to spread further followed by a warm wetness soaking your shirt as you watch the clouds pass slower than wasted time.

You however aren't really the kind to die, and he seems preoccupied with putting out his leg. So you pull you dart gun and squeeze the trigger, watching him turn with a shit eating grin, rifle aimed, and dart entering his skull via left eye socket. A spray of crimson in the air and he crumples. You manage to stand and feel a pain course through your stomach.

Now what.

Leave the bullet in, may stopping you from bleeding to death or not, you're not sure, you just don't want to dig around in your chest. Cauterize it, but with what, you doubt the flames on the stage are hot enough. If only you brought the vodka, then you could just clean it with that. They aren't there, all of this is a dream of a mad little girl who fears the world, except not, you are you and you are you and you are you, and they are nothing but vestiges of something you left behind to become more than you, but less that then the nice man with the funny name, but he is a coward and you aren't dying here, that red nectar is for special things
like scaring the mirrored eye girl with two faces
The things realize you are not a thing of them but a thing of you, and they vanish as your you devours their them

Walk, walking is the only true way to travel, floating is boring and running is tiresome. The imps on your shoulder tell you differently, while the little furry thing under your feet is screaming to give into the temptation of scarlet mead. While a lazy cat says to give up and rest a while, you ignore them all as you stumble towards the angry cursing man with the funny looking head

Mission complete
Layla Miller has been retreived
rewards lucky coin $3k

Mission report: Ok, so she walks into the air port, holding a godammned human scalp, covered in blood and dirt, babbling about nothing, and you won't let me kill her fuck [request denied]

Pfthahahaha

Man we really need to meet this agent and just be totally normal and restrained and quiet, just to mess with him.

All of these.

Also, did our last molotov help burn down the camp or did it not do enough damage?
>>
"So being shot is weird" You say smiling "and fuck africa, it's an odd place"

she hugs you and cries into your shoulder. You're don't hug back due to being out of it still
but it feels nice

"By the way did you keep my blood syringes?" You ask, causing Maria to look at you oddly, before it dawns on her what is in the pack she was holding. and then she screamed.

Hahaha, ahh Maria you are so fun to tease, we really should be nicer to her sometimes.

Thanks for the thread OP, any idea when the next will be?

Hopefully we can take a couple threads for downtime and learning/improving ourself so we're better prepared for our next job.

Good End.

Ok thanks for running so long OP. And sorry for some of the autism in-between.

But seriously, don't do that drama thing, there have been QMs who pulled that kind of shit.

I hope we all learned a lesson today about not going into absurdly dangerous situations without backup.
>>
>>35403662
I'm pretty sure getting shot 3 times and all the exposure from wandering in the Savannah is not A-ok.

>>35403628
Thanks for the thread HM.
>>
>>35403628
>getting out A ok
Just to confirm: Is this refering to her mental state not deteriorating any worse than it already has, or just her physical condition?
>>
>>35403690
Both?
>>
>>35403648
The ammo alone seemed like it would burn the whole camp. We burned it a few other places on top of that.

As for the towers, it sounds like it wasn't exactly possible to burn those down. Especially not with the supplies we were provided.

Also, random reminder from start of thread: unarmed skill and sucker punch still need to go on character sheet.

I'm also pretty sure we should also get an increase to our stealth skill considering how we moved across that camp like a ghost even while they were looking for us.
>>
Is the "???" stat on the char sheet new?
>>
>>35403712
>The ammo alone seemed like it would burn the whole camp. We burned it a few other places on top of that.
An ammunition fire is usually a very intense but short lived fire, unless it has a lot of combustible material around it to sustain it, it burns out fairly fast.

Good for an ignition point, but not for a sustained burn.
>>
>>35403718

I think the anons are wondering about whether we are 'A ok' because >>35403587 asked about other possible outcomes, meaning not the outcome we got, which your reply implies that getting out A ok is one of the other possible outcomes, not the outcome we got, so they are worried about what we lost to be not A ok
>>
>>35403758
Oh man now I worry for Maria.

How do we improve our mental stability?
>>
>>35403775
Well you didn't get the other outcomes
>>
>>35403790
Why would we want to?
>>
>>35403799
So that we can keep functioning.

>>35403790
Probably by spending allot of down time and r and r.
>>
>>35403797
Not complaining, only wondering how badly we fucked up Layla with the end we chose.
>>
>>35403829
not badly, just fucked up and with a new rumor of being fucking crazy
>>
>>35403826
I think Layla functions pretty well, on her level. We just need to let Maria actually act as our self-preservation some times, since Layla can't really do that.
>>
>>35403799
In case it effects our missions and what we can get/learn?

I'm all for Layla being insane as long as she's still in control of herself and doesn't murder Maria and go on a rampage through the school, I'm just worried about the consequences of being insane.
>>
>>35403843
Er, shouldn't our stealth skill improve after all that sneaking around we did?
>>
>>35403843
>new rumor of being fucking crazy
I thought this was already common knowledge, at least among anyone who have interacted with her.
>>
>>35403850

>>
>>35403843
>a new rumor of being fucking crazy
Those are always fun, especially when we know about the rumor and act normal or mess with people because of the rumor.
>>
>>35403848
Since the character sheet has just been updated, I can vouch that Layla is still at unstable, so relax.

We just have a new reputation for being batshit insane considering how we made it back.
>>
>>35403843

Like >>35403848 , I'm wondering what the consequences of being mentaly "unstable" are. Is it something you would like to elaborate on, or do you want it to remain a surprise?
>>
>>35403905
We have been "unstable" for the entire quest. Its what Layla has been all the time.
>>
>>35403905
Layla is unstable
her actions don't make sense to others and is hard for others to predict and control her
>>
>>35403920
I'm well aware. I was just wondering if there is a chance for a mental breakdown, but it seems OP implies that is not the case >>35403927
>>
>>35403734
Eh, we also voted to burn down the camp at the end.
>>
>>35403959
Yes we did, and OP has said he'll think about it when he's not too tired like right now.
>>
>>35403959
We did. Headmaster already said, nothing but the towers remains and he will have to think of something for it.
>>
>>35403967
I'm talking to you, not OP. ;-)
>>
>>35403958
Well, lets just say that going downhill from here would be rather bad.

But right now she is unstable in the sense that she is a crazy ball of unpredictable, not in the sense that she'll fall to pieces.
>>
On another happy ending note, I think I may have finally killed all the fucking ants in the kitchen. Good grief there were a couple hundred of them.
>>
>>35404116
good work
fuck ants
>>
>>35404139
Boiling water does kill them good (applied it multiple, multiple times). It also helps that I killed ants every time I saw them in the kitchen (and I was there a lot).

Frankly, it's been a lot of cleanup in the kitchen too while I was at it. Once you get the floor wet, you kinda start to clean the floor too and then before you know it you're cleaning the whole damn kitchen. But at least it's clean now.
>>
>>35404174
Well, basically once you've got boiling water over the kitchen parts you're kinda scrubbing them clean while you're drying them off, so one thing leads to another like that.
>>
I feel like I should give QM props on the crit fail. That was a serious crit fail without just plopping a game over.
