While the Slayer of Raptor is en-route to bigger and better things, you started making rounds to stave off boredom. You soon found yourself visiting the Gladiator Pits after following the building mythos surrounding you among the crew. Apparently the cultists that survived the takeover from Inquisitor Gaelos have started a competition. The Grand Prize?

“Her Approval.”

This didn’t sit well with you at all. Immediately you announced your presence to the gathered masses in the arenas, both as a spectator and as a challenger. This invigorated the crowd and combatants alike, yet none have answered your call. You doubt any of the apes will be able to put up a worthwhile fight against you anyways. Stranger things have happened though. You are a daemon traveling around as an Inquisitor after all.

Welcome to Khornette Quest.

If you’re a die-hard lover of canon, I suggest you turn away now. I like to think I do Chaos and 40k in general justice though. The key thing at the end of the day is to have fun, whatever that means in this instance.

All rolls will go against a specified characteristic in the style of Black Crusade. You’ll want to roll under the characteristic value in order to pass the check. The more degrees of success (every multiple of 10 counts as 1), the more awesome of a result. A 1 is a guaranteed success, and a 100 is a guaranteed failure.

Best of three rolls when it’s called for, with a 1 or a 100 instantly taking precedence. If multiple characteristics are being rolled for, each 1d100 counts for its respective test. Any rolls prior to the call for one and those not linking said post will be ignored.

You may burn (i.e. gone forever) 10 infamy to completely reroll a check (i.e. three new 1d100). If you have above 10 infamy, you are allowed a single additional 1d100 roll for any check during a session.

If you have any questions/etc, now’s the time. Otherwise, I’ll push the first update in about 10 minutes after some small housekeeping.

Excessive meta goes to QTG. Blatant Samefaggotry will be ignored.

So first things first, I’ve made an executive QM decision to overrule the Eye of Terror journey.
Here are my reasons, of which I will not be changing my mind on so save your keyboards from your angry pounding:

Slaaneshi are banned. Ergo that removes >70% of potential hooks and enemies in the Eye. No I will not budge on this ever. They’re gone.

The Eye is literally across the galaxy from where Cinder and crew are now. Even with Best Bird in the Navigator chair it would take far too long to just get there. Cinder would kill herself or the entire ship out of boredom.

So instead, the focus of this next little jaunt will be twofold: first to find a webway capable ship (or two) to make travel easier, second to find a warp storm to stabilize Cinder. You’ll still meet some Eldar on the way, maybe even some Tyranids. There might be space battles where Cinder loads herself into a cannon in order to board the enemy ship, or there might be weekly gardening sessions with Acerea.

In all, just bear with me. I don’t like flexing QM fiat, so don’t panic. If I have to do it too much, something obviously wrong in the communication chain. But more on that if we end up there.

While I remember - Greenmarine won the art poll. If he ever opens up his commissions, I’ll fire the dosh cannon at him for you all. Don’t say I never loved you.

Actual quest update shortly. They might be slow tonight, we’ll see. If it turns out Cinder’s out of stuff to do on the way I’ll either timeskip or let you jump into Ignitrix’s head for a bit.

I can understand that Slaanesh may be bad, but that's really no reason to completely eliminate it from the quest, at most can't you just make them impossible to diplomance or well, do anything aside from fight with?
It's an iconic part of even being Khorn, to fight Slaanesh, removing it is like replacing brass.
>>
>>35116435
Why're you letting a single namefag ruin a huge part of Khorn's existence, and therefore this quest as well?

“And what in the Warp is this?”

“It is called Prune Juice, mistress.”

You smile and down the rest of the goblet. “Acquire more of it when you get the chance. It is a fine substitute for actual Blood.”

Jeril, the attendant, bows. “I will do just that. If you will excuse me…”

He straightens up and leaves you in your little bloodbath up in the VIP booth. It’s been a few hours since you made your announcement, with no results thus far. Your presence has had a positive effect on the fights below nonetheless. Well, positive in the sense that the fighters are flailing around less wildly. Most of the humans you’ve seen in the pits thus far are so green that Acerea would jealous. Only a handful have had any combat awareness, much less an inkling of proper weapon handling. And they’ve mostly been ex-IG. Had it not been for Jeril and the commentators below you probably would have left awhile ago.

“Ooo and he’s down! That just leaves Harlen versus the rest of the Blue Team!”

“Hy theenk he myht have a chance eef he cap-toors…”

Probably just Jeril really. That and this bloodbath. It’s constantly filled with fresh blood from the pits themselves. Still not as good as your personal suite’s one, but nice all the same.

Chaos don't really have journey times, the only reason the Imperium don't travel practically instantly is that they're forcing themselves into the warp, we have actual daemons aboard, blessed by the gods themselves.
We should have enough favor that they'd essentially slingshot us with their powers.

Honestly I don't really approve of the Slaanesh decision, but I'm not going to argue it at the expense of the quest.

This is true, any dedicated servant of the Blood God would not be tempted from the path of Violence...

Plus there is always the fact that a Slaaneshi enemy would be inclined to get physically intimate with a foe...

>>
>>35117397
No, Raian quit because he decided "he wouldn't have fun" hosting Three Kingdoms Quest any more.

No, now IS the time for discussion, or an actual update.
Letting the problem fester, is NEVER a good idea.

Either you put your foot down and say no, and run as a dictatorial QM who doesn't allow his players to influence his quest. This will bring you flak, I will admit that.

Or, you discuss this with your players, plainly state your reasons, and get this over with as quickly as possible. It may take time, but you'll bring it to an end, and your players will trust you.

What would happen if you left it? People become bitter at being ignored, we're already seeing it happen in this very thread. Simply updating will not abate people's fears either.

Either drive the final stake between you and your players, or bring the gap back together between you and your players.

In the interest of finding a reason to stick around, you once again pick up the Arena-wide vox. “And here I thought I’d have at least one challenger by now. Is there not a single individual aboard that is willing to test their mettle? At this point I’ll even allow you to enter as a group. Anything to make this entertaining in the eyes of Khorne. Because right now a nosebleed is more impressive.”

As before a brief flurry of activity and discussion follows this announcement. Most of it is contained within the stands themselves among the spectators. If you had to guess they’re probably taking bets on whether you’ll actually get a fight. In the end the surge dies and you’re left staring back at the equivalent of paint drying. Or so you think anyways. Not like you’ve actually ever watched paint dry. Patience is the key to winning any battle though, so you simply readjust your seating and wait.

Eventually Jeril pokes his head into the booth. He seems rather nervous - sweat beading across his brow and all. “That other red daemon is waiting for you in Pit #8. I trust this will suffice?”

Oh right, Small-Horn. He’s around still. Maybe you should fix that. Or maybe you should just beat him senseless to vent your frustration. Either couldn’t hurt.

Rising from your spot in the tub, you let the blood either absorb into your skin or slide off of your skin back into the pool. It only takes a few seconds to once again don your armor, though you think you could probably fight Small-Horn without it and still be fine. In following this line of thought, you consider whether to gimp yourself in order to make it a fair fight. Unless he’s somehow become significantly better in the past week or so, it’d take you longer to walk down into the pit than to actually defeat him. In the end you decide to enter without any weapons except your natural claws. They were good enough for Blood Dragons in the past so they’ll be more than enough for Small-Horn.

By the time you’ve reached the Pit in question the crowd outside has grown relatively silent. It’s not hard to see why. Once the retaining walls fall behind you, you’re left in a circular arena with your counterpart. Who’s currently wielding two chainswords while encased in power armor.

He sneers once you’re opposite him, eye ablaze with hatred. “Arrogant, aren’t we?”

You roll your eyes and spit onto the ground in front of him. “Cowardly, aren’t we? Only the weak need tools like that to win a fight.”

A revving chainsword is pointed in your general direction. “We’ll just see who’s the weak one here, you bitch.”

“Wasn’t it you who said ‘words were for women?’ And here I thought…”

That’s finally enough to make him snap. He lunges forward a tad faster than you remember, but nothing you can’t handle right?

Small-Horn’s mad rush forward sees him closing the gap between the two of you almost instantly. He’s forgotten the weight of the power armor, however. As such the accompanying double downswing of his swords sends him off balance. Not enough to matter against mortals perhaps, but more than ample for your purposes. It’s trivial for you to duck under the blows and thrust your weight up into his chest. You have a momentary sense of deja vu involving a Grey Knight as he is flipped over.

Midair, you reach out and grab onto his remaining horn. With a quick snap of your arm you whip him onto the ground back-first. You can audibly hear the air being forced out of him, even through the power armor. It’s actually rather impressive that his horn remained intact through that.

Rather than snapping it off yourself, you simply wait the required few milliseconds for Small-Horn to inevitably attempt to cleave your arm off. It’s a foolhardy move based on his position. One you exploit by digging in your feet and drawing him up slightly. A flourish and backstep out of the way later sees him cutting off his own horn. He howls in agony and embarrassment, his eyes’ fire almost an inferno now.

It’s been barely 2 seconds since the fight began. A far cry from two minutes and it’s already over.

The tip of No-Horn’s last horn spirals gracefully in the air for a moment before it begins to plummet towards the deck. Almost as if in slow-motion, even to another Daemon, you reach out and take it in your hand.

“Let this be a lesson in self-reliance, if you should ever come back,” you whisper while driving the instrument of No-Horn’s “death” square between his eyes. He’s not able to do more than look up at it before his body goes limp. Though the horn is left behind, the rest of his body begins to dissolve into nothingness. An actual trophy worthy for the pits to strive for perhaps.

Remembering the fact you have spectators watching, you look up to see them all wide-eyed and white faced. A quick mental check confirms the total fight time was close to five seconds. From the outside it must have been nothing but a blur. That was their problem though, not yours.

Jeril comes running forth with a vox before you can even open your mouth to call for it. If only they were all this good. Taking it in hand, you hoist aloft the horn of the deceased Bloodletter. “This is your new prize. Consider it an actual test of skill to be worthy enough to possess it. And that’s saying something, considering that he was quite possibly the worst daemon in existence.”

You pause, letting that sink in. Then you add, “Is there no one else? Anyone at all? No? Well then…”

Lowering your gaze, you notice a certain Commissar standing in the pit’s entrance. He looks a mess with some of his form still covered in bandages but is otherwise smiling. Jeril is quick to notice this.

“He came by the moment you started walking down from your booth. Shall I send him away?”

Mr. Silent doesn’t appear to have any weapons on hand, unless you count a datapad as a weapon. Even then, it’s probably best to have whatever discussion is to follow outside of the public eye so to speak. You hand off the vox and the horn to Jeril for him to deal with before sauntering over to the waiting Commissar.

“Come to watch? Or to participate?” you ask, motioning behind you.

==Watch. Though had you not come down I might have tried my luck against him. It seems I missed it either way. Shame. ==

Huh. “So I take it you’ve been here before?”

==49 wins.== He tries not to look satisfied.

...Huh. “Any reason you didn’t go for 50?”

==Never anyone worthy to fight.==

“I see.” If you didn’t know any better that was a challenge. Or maybe he just really understands what Khorne’s about. Hard to tell sometimes with mortals, doubly so with blanks.

Well shoot I thought the way things worked here is that the closer you get to near dead status the stronger you get. Like say if you got suddenly impaled through the gut by a large lance for example then take that lance and use it to skewer the guy who stabbed you in a rather grisly hug and manage to survive it would take something like a bullet to the brain to send you into near death again?

could we do that to No-Horns if he ever shows his face again? chain him to the floor and roof like a punching bag and use him as such? saves on having to re-summon him everytime we needed to let out some stress the old fashioned way? that way, we can insult him with the 'baby gloves' and not have to worry about getting his pansy-ass blood on our claws...

You shrug and motion for him to follow you. He ends up walking by your side since otherwise you wouldn’t be able to see his datapad. It turns out to be the first topic of conversation as you two leave the Gladiator Pit behind.

“Have you considered having the Magos give you a new voice or something?”

==I still think it will come back in time.==

“It’d better. Otherwise you’ll have to tap out code or throw datapads to communicate in battle. The latter is amusing so long as you end up killing someone with it. The former is just too time consuming.”

He “laughs,” signified by a quick exhale of air. ==Does killing them with a dataslate still count?==

“Eh, I don’t see why not,” you remark rather plainly. “Blunt force trauma is blunt force trauma after all.”

==I was thinking of using the corners instead. More blood that way.==

Mr. Silent here might be the first mortal to make you genuinely smile. Outside of combat anyways. “So were you always this devoted to Khorne? Or do you just have a blood fetish?”

==Little column A, little column B.==

“Uh huh. I bet the Imperium loved that.”
==Eh. It’s more a requirement to have a certain number of executions under your belt to become a full Commissar. Cultivates creativity in a way.==

“And they were totally fine with you doing that sort of thing? Here I thought you humans were entirely hopeless.”

==Well it’s not like I executed anyone who didn’t deserve it. Besides, when you’ve got a genestealer in the ranks it never hurts to be sure.==

You raise an eyebrow. “You? A genestealer?”

==Three actually. I earned my hat for that one.==

A couple of minutes of silence pass as the pair of you pass by the Forge. You’re able to catch a glance of Wormbag yelling at a furnace worker. Something about how the metal’s so banged up that it’s bruised. It’s nothing new but it does serve to remind you that you still don’t know Mr. Silent’s actual name. No time like the present you suppose.

Rather than beat around the bush like some socially-awkward human, you just come out and ask, “What’s your actual name anyways?”

He pauses and raises an eyebrow before replying. ==Tigurius Aurelius Kvaternik. Out of curiosity, am I supposed to address you as Mistress, Inquisitor, or something else?==

“Hrm… Cinder’s fine. I think you’ve earned that privilege. Well, except that whole ‘Grey Knight shield’ business. You’re still not off the hook for that.”

He shrugs. ==Not like I expected that to just go away. Hard to fight a Knight when you’re not a nine foot killing machine. But I won’t annoy you with excuses.==

“See, it’s awareness like that that makes you worth keeping around. It’s surprising how little of it most mortals and daemons alike have.”

==Don’t remind me. I once had an entire regiment who didn’t know which end of the flashlight to point at the enemy.==

“...I actually thought that was par for the course most of the time.”

==Oh it is. But usually it’s just some that can be quickly educated and/or dealt with.==

“How you mortals have lived this long…”

Your remark is cut short by Ignitrix crashing into the wall of the T-shaped intersection ahead of you. “THERE YOU ARE!” she shouts, rushing forward. “I saw…” Her eyes narrow as she looks at Tigurius. “...him walk by you and then you disappeared. Only natural to worry.”

Come to think of it, you have been in rather close proximity to the Blank ever since leaving the Pits. It hasn’t really bothered you per say but he’s been at arm’s length.

“As you can see,” you motion up and down. “I’m fine. Thanks for worrying though, Iggy.”

==Iggy?==

Her feathers poof out when she catches sight of the datapad. “Don’t you dare!”

Trying and failing not to giggle, you walk over to the Lady of Change and pat her head. “Just relax.”

“Mmmrphm.”

“Yeah that’s what I thought.”

Ok, so, I really don't think you understand what the word "anathema" actually fucking MEANS. It's not like a pollen allergy or an uncomfortable feeling. It is literally the entirety of our existence being negated and destroyed at the fundamental level.
PROLONGED PHYSICAL CONTACT WITH A BLANK IS UNAVOIDABLY FATAL TO DAEMONS IN A WAY LITTLE TO NOTHING ELSE IN THE SETTING CAN MATCH. NO WIGGLE ROOM. NO EXCEPTIONS. THEY DIE.

The headpat seems to have calmed your feathered friend judging by the retracting plumage. “Better?”

“No,” she lies while looking away. “Where are you going anyways? Can I tag along?”

“I don’t see why not. I have no real destination in mind at the moment though.”

Ignitrix huffs and spins around. “So you’re just hanging out with our polar opposite just because? I’d ask if you were crazy but I already know the answer to that.”

==She seems fun.==

“Yeah she gets like that. Keeps things interesting.”

“Are we walking or talking here?!”

“Both Iggy, keep your robes on.”

“I’m only doing this because your stupid wanna-be lover keeps trying to ‘pass notes’ via the vox and the astropath choir. Seriously annoying. I honestly think hanging out with the Blank here would be less painful.”

==Is this where I make a joke or…?==

“I mean I would,” you reply. “Up to you whether you want to dodge fireballs though.”

“Fireballs? Oooooooohhhh no. Great living pillars of red death.”

==Is she hitting on you?==

“I have no clue.”

“I AM NOT.”

==Totally hitting on you.==

His datapad goes flying as he dodges out of the way of a thrown psychic bolt. It still passes quite near his body, dissipating significantly, but not entirely, within his aura. Ignitrix growls in annoyance. “One of these days… I should just hang out with Acerea more.”

You know, you haven’t really visited the Plaguebearer at all since she arrived on the Raptor. Maybe you should check in.

With both the Commissar and the Lady of Change in tow you head down towards one of Acerea’s usual haunts. Or so you imagine anyways. The biodeck seems like a good spot for a habitual gardener. It turns out your hunch is correct, if only by the fact there’s plants moving around unnaturally by the entrance. You’re pretty sure trees aren’t supposed to breathe that heavily either. If you weren’t a daemon it’d probably be unsettling.

Somewhere behind you, Ignitrix and Tigurius are in a fierce debate over something involving psykers. You only get half of the conversation since you’re looking for the Plaguebearer and not at the Blank’s datapad. Still worth a smile either way.

“Oh my, come to visit have we? I would have put out the bloodblooms if I knew you were coming~”

Acerea’s voice emits from behind a tree before she steps out into view. She seems her usual self, whatever that means for her. “So what brings you down here, Cinder?”

“Just checking in. Trying to kill time. Bored. Possibly all three. You seem to have spruced up the place quite well.”

“Hmmm, no spruces yet. But I’ll pick up some seeds next chance I get~”

You barely stop yourself from facepalming. “Not what I meant. But speaking of trees, how’s the old Navigator?”

Her hand finds its way to the side of her face. “He’s in the back in a pot. Keeps him from annoying the other plants with his whining.”

“He… whines?” Breathing trees was one thing but… Lazerus must love the stuff Acerea’s doing here. Or he might if he knew about it. He’s on your list of people to bother at some point.

“Oh all the time. I’m actually glad we have Ignitrix around to do his job. I’m half-tempted to turn him into mulch~”

Most Imperial institutions are egalitarian; they're too busy subjugating based on sect and purity to bother subjugating based on gender, and the Guard doesn't give a shit who gets in as long as they finish basic training.

It's just not represented much on the tabletop, partly for tone and partly because for the longest time GW couldn't make a decent female sculpt to save their lives.

He helped with the takeover in some fashion. Didn't dick around like the other cultists. He's kinda like Acerea in that regard. Semi-useful but not amazingly so. Yet.

He kicked around some mortals we said were completly pathetic.
And how was he even mildly useful ?
He didn't do anything sofar except get rekt by a grey knight, which I don't hold against him, but its not a star on his record.

>>35123964
Thanks for the run, boss.
>>
>>35124037
I thought it was solved? But, then I'm one of the people who was against involving slaaneshi since the beginning due to Cinder being fucking Khornate and slaaneshi involvement having a very real chance of completely derailing the entire quest into debauchery which very much bores me, so maybe I'm missing the point.
>>
>>35124250
I wanted to go on an adventure in the Eye of Terror, but we can't go there now because the QM wants to retcon the perverts out of the universe. I just wanna go on adventures and kill shit.
>>
>>35124184
Hey, do you think we could warp that thing into the Materium?
>>
>>35124280
I'd assumed that he's vetoing the Eye out of hand since he doesn't have enough inspiration to be able to do much with that. Which is an entire baseless assumption, I'm pretty sure. But, not entirely unlikely.

I'd also read it not as him taking them out of the universe entirely, but more that they're never going to be involved in the quest.
>>
>>35124338
But I really wanted to permakill some with blank powers.
>>
>>35116435
>The Eye is literally across the galaxy from where Cinder and crew are now. Even with Best Bird in the Navigator chair it would take far too long to just get there. Cinder would kill herself or the entire ship out of boredom.
Why can't ships just move at the speed of plot in this quest?
>>
>>35124358
But, you and I both know that some people here simply can't be trusted with their involvement. And it's a sad fact of society that some people being unable to be trusted is all it takes to ensure that nobody gets to have nice things.
>>
>>35124358
Daemons simply don't do that. It is a great disservice to pretty much all four of the gods, as there's no blood, pleasure, decay or knowledge gained from permakilling a daemon.
Hell, daemons aren't even suppossed to hang around Blanks. The sooner we toss him into the ship's reactor the better. I'd also accept a Dark Eldar raid.
>>
>>35124420
All the QM has to do is say, "I'm not writing smut," and that kills the lewd activities from the playerbase.
>>
>>35124456
Not true. The playerbase will just write their own smut and post it in the thread. Lewd activities completely undiminished.
>>
>>35124456
Yeah, right! if only it was that simple!
>>
>>35124471
>And that totally impacts the quest itself.
>>
>>35124471
Then "the blank thing is not going to happen"
>>
>>35124456
Hey, remember when ELH wrote a scene where Cinder defiled a Rosette, and then a scene where Acerea turned the navigator into a mushroom, and then a scene where the birdloli was described as having a huge rack? And then he said "Slaaneshis"? Isn't that curious?
>>
>>35124498
Yes, yes it does. It's an annoyance to the QM, to those of us not here for smut, and it brings in people who are only here for the smut that isn't supposed to be here. It creates a playerbase that's hostile to itself.
>>
>>35124498
Yes, it does, if only because of the faggots that rage or cry for more (or both at the same time), which irrevocably leads to trolling, fights and general shitposting.
>>
>>35124554
>filter: 'pastebin'
>>
>>35124549
>"Slaaneshis are banned"?*
>>
>>35124434
That's only true so GW won't have to come up with more daemons.
>>
>>35124567
You assume it'll be a pastebin? That's awfully naive of you. It won't impact me, since I just occasionally refresh the page and scroll past pretty much every post that isn't by the QM anyway, but don't act like most people can just ignore things they don't like. Surely you've been here long enough to know better than that.
>>
Look, all I'm asking is for freedom to fight whomever we wish, including Slaaneshis, for Khorne fucking hates Slaanesh. Also, taking taking them out of this quest's reach will make it less colorful. Chaos is the power to do whatever one wants provided they can do it, so please, let Chaos reign and let us players go on a trip to the Eye of Terror.
>>
>>35124498
It is really fucking annoying when people write shoddy greentext smut attempts in thread and shitpost about dicks for half the thread, yes.
>but just say you won't do lewds!
ELH did. He is so staunchly against lewdfaggotry that he said he is avoiding Slaanesh entirely and all that got is even more lewdfaggotry from you whiners.
>>
>>35124627
Perhaps because ignoring what you don't like will make those faggots post more and more of it.

This Blank bullshit, for example.
Before this thread, it used to be a tolerable joke that was getting old an annoying.
It now makes the Slaaneshi discussion look like a fond memory in comparison.
>>
Y'know, I have yet to hear any reasoning from ELH, just him going, "I'm not letting you do that," and "Fuck off."
>>
>>35124706
In fact,he needs to say something along the lines of the former about this blank situation of whether that Blank's romance materium or not.
>>
>>35124706
Sounds like it's time for everyone's favorite game: Wild Speculation!
>>
>>35124727
Nope. Cinder x Murder OTP.

I'm generally against the main character having any romance since it tends to draw focus solely toward that romance. That said, I think Acerea and Ignitrix would be cute together since I'm a huge faggot.
>>
>>35124727
And something along the lines of the latter when someone suggests it seriously.
>>
>>35124774
>Ace x Iggy
They certainly make for top tier covering fire.
>>
>>35124774
I think Cinder Acerea and Ignitrix could have a long-lasting friendship. Iggy plans out the assaults, Cinder fights the assaults, and Acerea weakens supply lines and spreads Chaos to ferment in our wake.
>>
>>35124706

He's explained it several times but no one listened. So naturally instead of repeating himself 1000x he just remains silent. God forbid a QM expect literacy from his players.

Facts:

1. He's said multiple times lewd isn't why Slaaneshi are banned

2. He's said multiple times that Slaaneshi are present in-universe but will never appear on-screen directly. Off screen and side scenes have already happened multiple times.

3. People are literally the whiniest bitches when they can't have something. It's been 10 threads and suddenly not having a daemonette to jack off to makes the quest "shit." Get a life people.

4. If this was an IRL party 90% of you would be kicked for that guy behavior. Then again /tg/ is just a collection of That Guys so this isn't surprising.
>>
>>35124419

Because god forbid he actually keeps something about 40k lore consistent.

>>35124037

It's been solved. You don't need Slaanesh to enjoy this quest as evidenced by the fact we're 10 threads in. Stop being entitled fucks and shitposting about MUH HUSBANDO when you don't get your way.
>>
>>35125741
>3. People are literally the whiniest bitches when they can't have something. It's been 10 threads and suddenly not having a daemonette to jack off to makes the quest "shit." Get a life people.
People are mad that they don't get to KILL Slaaneshi. The argument of it derailing into lewd simply doesn't hold since he controls the narrative. He can very well have a Slaaneshi appear and prompt us on how we want to kill her, problem solved. And can simply ignore all other votes as not "in-character", there is no reason to have one of the most relevant of Khornes enemies not appear.
Not to mention the Slaaneshi faggotry was not even nearly as bad as the blank husbando bullshit that will just get worse from here on.
I really really wanted us to find a way to justify to keep him around because he seemed like acool guy, but now I just want him to fucking die so the husbando faggots stop being such obnoxious shits.
>>
>>35125822

Killing Slaaneshi isn't a necessity for Khornates, regardless of how hard people whine. I wager these same people only think Khorne's about blood and death instead of also positive shit like honor and what not.

He won't be able to do anything now that involves QM Fiat. The beginning and end of this thread proves that. So now instead of nice Q&A's and open communication we're stuck with just update posts. Way to scare off another QM /tg/.
>>
>>35125853
>Killing Slaaneshi isn't a necessity for Khornates
Its not necessary no, and if he would have never brought it up and just not have them appear, there would be no issue. But he made it a issue, so obviously people are going to express their opinion on it. And obviously if you downright tell people they can't have something ever, like killing Slaaneshi, that opinion won't be positive.
>>
>>35125868

What I don't get is why people chose NOW to bitch about it. It was "amazing" and a "display of True QM Grit" when he originally banned them back in like thread 4 or 5 or something. Now it's like he kills babies for giggles or something. Literally nothing's changed between now and then other than people's sudden urge to shitpost.
>>
I kinda wished Cinder would have reserved letting him call her Cinder for when he defeats 50 in a row in the arena. As sign of her approval. Now its wasted, and for what? Him playing damsel in distress?
>>
>>35125879
Back then he didn't bann them from appearing. He said he won't make a Slaaneshi companion, for the obvious and correct reasons people approved of. These reasons don't apply to using them as enemies.
>>
>>35125886

He's never been about her approval. And how do you figure damsel in distress? Dude's been captured once by a fucking Grey Knight but otherwise hasn't done anything to warrant that label.

>>35125892
Go reread the archives: http://archive.moe/tg/thread/34259772/#34269550
>>
>>35125907
Considering its the only thing of note to have happened to him.
And since he is too weak to fight any enemy that would be a threat to us, he is pretty much doomed to be captured and used as weapon against us forever, unless we lock him away.
We carry our own mortal doom around with him, of course the Qm is gonna use that again to make important fights more dangerous without having to pull out new reasons for making them fatal.
>>
>>35125907
>He's never been about her approval
No, but Cinder has been very grudging so far with handing out her approval. And saying he "earned" being allowed to call her Cinder means something.
And it makes me wonder what he did to earn that kind of thing. It would have been cool if he earned it by proving himself as warrior, but so far he hasn't, and it cheapens the act of allowing someone to call her that.
>>
>>35125907
That was definitly taken as joke by most. People said that because he told ND off, no one thought back then he actually meant it serious, because he clearly didn't, as evidenced by having to bring it up now.
>>
>>35125931

Materium enemy? You're probably right. He won't be able to keep up with Tyranids or Eldar. But the daemonic kind of foe? He basically makes them human and on his level. His powers are like a mobile version of the blessed bolt pistol Cinder possesses.

>>35125951
He did kill the Captain and a few others during the takeover. And it's probably highly likely he did good work alongside Acerea until the Grey Knights came along. If you've noticed it's not about a warrior prowess but in having the ability to be self-sufficient and not sucking 24/7. Just compare him to the RT or the failure of a Brass Herald. Even Jeril is better than them.
>>
>>35125963

Or he's just bringing it up again because it's been a month and is now directly relevant.

If anything it's those peoples' fault for assuming it was anything but serious.
>>
>>35125967
>He basically makes them human and on his level.
Thats not how Blanks work. They weaken daemons, but they don't put them on their level.
Unless the daemon was already that weak.

And I might add, him allowing us to permakill possible daemonettes, is exactly what gave him purpose so far. Thats kind of out now, and the chances of us even fighting daemons is pretty slim, not to mention that perma-killing daemons isn't something Cinder would want to do most of them time anyway. The Chaos Gods kind of don't like that, daemons don't like Blanks at all, but thats one of the things we handwave here for narratives sake.
>>
>>35125997

They range from "lol, no warp here" to "psykers get a mild headache around me." I'd say he's somewhere on the lower end towards the middle based on what we've been told and seen thus far.

We're not getting to fight daemons because we haven't gone to where there ARE daemons.
>>
>>35126024
You confuse Blank with Pariah. Pariah are the "no warp here guys". Blanks are really weak and diluted Pariahs. He is pretty much at the upper end of what a Blank can manage, but making a daemon mortal is way out of his league, even a Pariah can't do that. Usually.
>>
>>35126039
Well, it depends. A fully trained Pariah like a Culexus assassin can outright permamurder a daemon by focussing on it.

An untrained one would still be very bad news, since the "no Warp here aura" would severely weaken any daemon caught in it.
>>
>>35126058
Pariahs definitly can do that kind of shit, but he is not a Pariah.
Luckily for him, because if he were a Pariah, Cinder would have killed him on reflex, because Pariah make people hate them irrationally. Blanks aren't that bad off.
>>
It seems you took the very, very stupid route ELH, unless you're planning on announcing something good through twitter this really isn't going to help anything.
