You are Zokarth the Eternal Storm! A young dragon in a strange world looking for GOLD. Last time, you met your newest companion, Venvia, who was originally some sort of strange magikal crystal. Now you are leading a small group of your newest followers. The town of Lotik was desolated indirectly by you, but mostly the Sandpeople, waking up ancient giants, Planewalkers. After delivering what was probably one of the greatest speeches to ever grace this forsaken desert, nay the entire world, the survivors of Lotik saw your brilliance, and accepted you as their savior. The only condition being that you promised to slay the beast which destroyed their village.

Because you gained roughly 3000 followers, you gained the following ability, which is related to what you are worshiped for.

[+Savior]
You radiate calm and reassurance to those around you. +1 command/+1 speech

[+Wrath] You strike with the fury of all those who follow you +1 to any attack.

[+Fury of a God] You can not be struck down like some mere mortal, the people you fight for call on you to continue fighting.
Roll against any attack that would put you at 0 hp can be rolled against, as Fury of a God

After such cheering, you gather your people up, and set off over the desert. It takes much longer on ground, but the people are happy. A problem comes up with water, they do not have enough water mages for all the people. You dig a pit, and tell those of little fate to watch. You reach deep into your magik, and send it out into the ground, probing.

It is strange and foreign for you to use your magik in such a way. Usually you tap in directly into your magik, calling it forth into your maw for your lightning. now itt is as if you have grown a new limb. It is a long thin tendril of your essence given form. You’ve always had this limb, your magikal senses interacting with the world, but it is only now you can experience it on such a level. There is Arcane Energy everywhere. It belongs to the earth, and the creatures which live in it, but your’s belongs to you. Your Arcane Energy is stronger than that which lurks in the earth. As you search for water, you make contact with one of these pockets of Arcane Energy, and to your fascination, you.. absorb it. What might have been the life of a worm, or an insect, has become part of you, giving you energy that you did not realize you were missing. Curious, you’ll have to look into this later. Finally you find a pool of water deep under the sands, and make contact.

You recall what the water scroll told you, you have to let your essence flow like the water, you struggle at first, for it keeps slipping away from you, how dare it. You try pinning it down with your pure strength, your beautiful magik might, but to no avail. When you are about to give up, and start to relax your magikal presence, you become in tune with the water, and can wield it just like you move your Arcane Energy outside of your body. You caox the water out from its resting place to the surface. It builds speed and power, until it erupts into the sky to the cheers of your followers.

Several hours after resting your followers, you have arrived at your mountain. Though you promised to hunt down the Planewalkers, you have several days to set out on the hunt before your followers start to question you. You also have to make sure your followers can survive at their new home, while the depths of the mountain still beckon.

I also have some water magick scrolls, so that others can learn to do this while I am gone."

We can delay the hunt and grow in power by working on 'expanding' our territory into the mountains. It's already ours, but we should make sure it's safe enough, and it'll give us the chance to become powerful. Not that we're...afraid of those planeswalkers. Or anything. It's just...more power, right?"

You decide you shall help with the needs of your followers. They must witness your greatness... this can't happen if they're dead. Tents and stalls are being quickly constructed by the industrious Thalls. You descend among them, they bow to you in respect, crossing their arms across their chest as they do so. Your voice booms out to the crowd which is already surrounding you, “I am a good ruler, and I know that if I leave now the people may not survive. The caverns ahead in the mountain are safe, and I've gone far into them, but the deepest parts should still be blocked off”. Your followers nod to your majestic wisdom, taking any words you say to heart, “Now, if there are any hardships you are facing, you may address me now”, you say with the regal of royalty.

You expected a few concerns, but are assaulted by a flood of statements.
“There is no water!” Is repeated several times. Annoyingly.
One man stated his brother’s wife saw her sister’s husband take the goat of another man, and demands something be done, such petty theft go without consequence!
One man, Ragiki Thall Kraman, is the man which gave your new magikal armor. Him and some other merchants require some form of forge to work their metals, and they were wondering… oh… you’re not the type of dragon which breathes fire? That’s a shame…
Some of the men would like your permission to go spelunking in the mountain, it could offer a plethora of bullion which would help spur the growth of this settlement!
One of your elder followers informs you that while enough cattle survived the destruction of Lotik, along with their grain stores, they do not have any source of new food.

What issue shall you address?

Well, we have a water magik scroll. Give it to those who complain about the water.

As for law, how about this? The goat is to be kept by a third party, and when it comes time to slaughter, feed it to the families of both men and the third party. The reason the original owner doesn't get all of it is A) he cannot prove his claim, and B) if it WAS stolen, then the farmer's dumb enough to lose food during such lean times.

As for forges, we have lightning. Have them prepare some coals and we can still light them up.

The spelunking is something we'll assist with hands on.

Food itself...will be complicated. We'll have to ask how they got their food.
>>
>>35002240
When it comes to the scrolls, some of your followers already know water magik, the scrolls simply give the basics. Even if they all have water scrolls, many are not magikally adept, and providing water for the entire settlement is beyond such mortals

The desert can be a cruel place. In order to survive, and therefore flourish, water is needed. You could simply dig out a trench from the well atop the mountain, but that would might draw too much attention. After all, you should have all the attention. On the other hand, you could simply do what you did while you were leading your followers, and call forth the water from below once again.

“My faithful followers! Fear not, for Zokarth provides all!” You march away from the crowd to a clear area of flat dirt, which can be find in patches near the mountain. After taking time to dig a wide enough hole in the ground, you prepare yourself. You reach down once again into the sands, searching once again for the water. It takes longer than you expected. There seems to be no water directly under the mountain, which you find strange, since you there seems to be a well atop of it. Finally you find what you are looking for, a deep reservoir of refreshing water. You wrestle once again with the water, it seems easier than before. You remember from last time, and stop trying to control the water, rather, you simply let it flow. You encourage it to come to the surface. You get so caught up in the flow, the peace it brings, that you didn’t realize that the water has already burst forth in an arcing path of small orphaned children, their parents being lost in the attack of Lotik. It might be fun, a nice day in a fountain of water, expect that it is thousands of pounds rushing towards the children, they could actually be hurt.
>>
>>35002649
Despite your disregard for the lives of mortals, something wells up inside of you. Like a bolt of electricity it climbs up your connection to the water, drastically changing it. You look on the scene, you see a beautiful frozen pillar of ice, the orphans looking up with smiles on their face, and hope in their eyes.

Behind you, there are stunned followers. Experimenting with the ice, you melt parts of it from the source, allowing water to softly gurgle into the small lake you dug. You’ll have to experiment with your new powers later

Gained [Water Manipulation lv1]!

What shall you do now?

Beside the point.

We are in a time where every meal must be small, simply because everyone needs to be fed. If he was so lax in his watch of his flock that some random schmuck was able to take his goat and escape with it, he doesn't deserve to watch them anymore. They should be put into the hands of someone more capable which, until we find someone else to shove the workload onto, will be us.

>>35002745
After that I'll post something about the law, you guys should decide on what it's going to be while I write!

Looks like right now we're leaning towards "Might makes Right"
>>
>>35002987
It's not so much that Might makes Right, it's that he let someone steal his goat. His lax security meant that we could have lost precious food, if the thief had run off into the desert.
>>
>>35003054
In harsh time people should seek cooperation, not competition.
A strick but fair law must be applied.
>>
>>35002987
for law, Judge Dredd style. Find some people that enforced the law in the town before it got wrecked, they are the new Judges, with the caveat that if they abuse their power you will quite literally fry them alive.

>>35003054
and it all breaks as soon as people figure out you can steal with no consequences.
>>
>>35003207
>>35003203
But that's just it. If we determine that the goat WAS stolen...we just send out the thief into the desert to go and find another one. And if he comes back without a new goat, we just kill him on sight.
>>
>>35002987
>>35003207
Seconded. THE LAW IS THE WILL OF ZOKRATH.... WHO WOULD DENY OUR WILL?!
>>
>>35003207
expanding on this, the laws the town had still apply unless they go against the WILL OF ZOKRATH.
>>
>>35002664
The children are laughing as some elder woman rushes to shoo them away from the danger of a giant leaning ice tower. You return to the settlement, apparently the word of your newest greatness has spread faster than you can move! The people bow deeper, with small smiles on their faces. The children giggle behind you, dancing and skipping in your wake. Are those the children you saved? It’s hard to tell, all mortals look the same, really.

You look for the one called Ragiki Thall Kraman, finding him and several others working on crafting some form of hearth. “Ragiki Thall Kraman”, your majestic voice catching the craftsman off guard with its beauty, “I have come to assist you with the crafting the forges”.

The Thall bows deeply to you, that wide grin you first saw him with on his face, “Yes Lord, we are indebted to you for you aid, yes. The problem we are facing is that we can not bring the hearths to high enough temperatures, yes”. His voice is gravelly, as if it was soaked in wine and coal smoke, before being pounded into steel. As the man talks, his hands are stroking his beard, which is a flow of the silver hair which seems characteristic of your followers. “Before, we had many apprentices work the bellows, yes. The bellows are large, and must be worked at a constant rate, yes. The strongest man tires in less than an hour, yes! We require many apprentices, yes, to work the forge effectively for the hours we need. Now, we do not even have enough people to work one forge, yes”. You reach up to your chin, about to stroke your beard, before you realize you don’t have one. It seems so wise when Ragiki does it, damn mortals and their facial hair. Still, your mind is greater than their feeble ones, the solution is easier for you. It strikes you in a moment of brilliance.

Excited, you instruct Ragiki and his fellows to pack up their work and to follow you. You find the well you summoned forth earlier, the ice melting in the sun. The craftsmen lookup with respect in their eyes at the sculpture of sorts your magik crafted. Already, the well you crafted is starting to overflow . You share your plan with the crafts men, telling them to gather what gears, pivots, and nails they can find. The carpenters quickly start putting together planks to form a wheel of sorts. While your eager followers get to work, you circle around your well until you find the spot you are looking for. A downward slope on one side of the well. You quickly dig a trench down the slope, when it levels out, you dig out a more expansive reservoir for the water. Your claws goug the earth, making easy work of the dry dirt. YOU ARE ZOKARTH, SLAYER OF DIRT! OBSERVE YOUR MAJESTY AS YOU SLAY THOSE WHO OPPOSE YOU!

When you are done, water flows from the well, into the trench, (is it called a canal now? Dragons have no use for such pity terminology) and into the new reservoir (Lake? Pond? Damn mortals, and their words). You observe that the well is still filling up faster than it is draining, so you quickly widen the trench. You call over your followers, who seem giddy that such a feat is made possible so quickly by your grandeur. They set the wheel above the trench, hooking up the wooden shafts they quickly crafted. They then set up a series of gears and more shafts, at one point breaking into shouts as they argued over the correct configuration. Apparently they don’t have many gears left over from the city, and are trying to make due. When their “debate” reaches its peak, you cough politely, reminding your followers that you are waiting for them (How can they forgot that you are there?) Finally, Ragiki approaches you, bowing humbly, “Lord, we are ready, yes. Yes, Lord, I for one am quite excited at this feat of engineering!”

The wheel is lowered into the trench, and there is a silence as the craftsman wait with eager looks on their faces. Slowly, the water catches on the planks, forcing it to turn. The turning of the wheel causes the complex gears and shafts to move, until finally, a pair of handles belonging to massive bellows at the end of the line. Each time they move down, life is breathed into the forge, and then move up once again, you are impressed by the engineering your mortal followers are able of designing.

Ragiki walks towards you again, a giant grin painted on his face again, behind him his fellows cheer. he bows several times, “Lord, you are far wiser than Ragiki, thank you Lord, yes.”

“Do not forget about my beauty, Ragiki, there is more to life than just wisdom”, you reply.
This seems to draw out a booming laugh from the man, “Indeed Lord! True wisdom you have given Old Ragiki”, the man bows away from you, joining in with his cheering peers.

It would seem that the day as drawn to an end, you fly back to your mountain, Venvia soon joining you. rising up from the settlement, as small crowd where she once was. You both start to descend your way to the save with your GOLD, “It seems you have been very busy today, Zokarth. I heard you even saved some children. You are a noble lord of these people” Venvia says as you descend.
You snort at what she said, “These people should fear me! I am death incarnate!”, for some reason, people keep laughing at what you say, the peal of laughter from Venvia fills the tunnel you are in, bringing merriness. “Oh Zokarth, you are indeed one to be feared”, she says, stifling a giggle.

The night melts away as you sleep atop your GOLD. You have finished many tasks, but there is still so much to do.

Looks like we are doing law next, but that can be changed any time

>>
>>35003846

Almost forgot,
[+Smith followers] You can give orders to your smiths to construct various things you need. Orders will take several days to finish, the bigger the order the longer the wait.

When you awake, you see that Venvia is still curled up on her mound of crystals. You decide to let her rest, remembering her words from last time. Spending who knows how long trapped in a crystal without the ability to sleep and dream sounds … terrible, with the lack of any better words. You make the trek out of your nest and to the ledge over looking the settlement. Your followers seem to be making great progress. There are many more stalls put up, those who can’t really guess the purpose, they seem to be cut off from trade. Perhaps some merchants are still trying to dispose of their merchandise? The oasis you bult seems to be a popular spot, many people meet to at the shore, filling up jugs of water, to various use. Surprisingly, you see some spots of green, not near the shore as you would suspect, but on the water. Some form of bulbous lily pad with a alluring orange petal on top of it has quickly spread through the reservoir. Some of your followers have made done the outrages thing, and have constructed RAFTS! These less sane ones can be seen on their rafts, tending to the lillies. You’ll have to inquire about this later. Next to the oasis, smoke lazily drifts up from the forge you help construct.

You glide down to what seems to be the center of settlement, a wide area between the tents which is perfect for your landing. Did they really build their settlement around you? Of course they would! It’s the best city plan! Your landing attracts the attention of several people, who bow to you. Your voice rings out over the clearing

>>35004943
“Followers of Zokarth! My beloved followers, gather around!”, the children who always love to be near you giggle as they run off into the settlement, giving out your message for all to hear. It takes several minutes for all 3000 of your followers to gather near the square, they seem happy and hopefully, so different than when you found them. Despite the mass of people around you, your voice can easily be heard by all, as it washes over the people.

“My people! Recently it has been brought to my grand attention that there is an issue of law amongst you! I have decided to make laws for all among you, so that you may live in peace. There is no higher judge than I, Zokrath the Eternal Storm! Without Zokarth, all around you would not exist! I have brought you to a new land, and given you all you need! I brought forth the water, so that you may all survive the desert!” The people all nod in agreement, “I have brought forth the machinery you need to craft your metal!” Ragiki and his fellow craftsmen nod more eagerly than the others, even going so far as to cheer again. “I have given you safty! Saving the poor orphans!” Again the people nod, but when an orphan starts giggling and calling out your name, others join in, the crowd erupting into cheers. You wait for the people to calm down, which takes several minutes, when all is quiet you continue again. “It is I who is the highest judge, but I am not always present. I will select those amongst you who are just, and they shall make sure there is peace amongst the people. Who amongst you once worked with the law?”

At your call, several older followers walked forward. One is slightly chubby, his eyes are small and clever. Another is far older, relying on his staff, his years speaking of his wisdom. The last is the youngest, instead of wearing armor, instead of the robes the other are wearing. The oldest one speaks for the others, “I am Oman Thall Dipamni, my war like fellow is Irikit Thall Erkat, and this one is Oman Thall Jaiki”

You nod, these fellows seem to have experience, and are willing to do their job, “Go forth with my blessing. You shall keep the peace, but beware, do not enforce a reign of terror, or your personal goals, or you shall feel my wrath” You saw, bits of lightning flickering around your maw. “Go forth my followers, and prosper” You finish your message by flying off into the sky.

What shall you do now? All this work with the followers is quite boring…

You simply fly over the village for a while. The feeling of lording over so many people is exhilarating. You land by a group near the mountain. They are the expedition which wishes to explore the mountain. You inform them “would be impractical to climb to the top of the mountain, descend all the way to the bottum of the mountain, climb back up, and lower your bounty to the bottom of the mountain, which is a major challenge in itself!”

They nod sagely at your wisdom, one of the more grizzled miners speaking up, “Of course, Lord. Your logic is indisputable. We shall start boring into the mountain side until we find a rich enough vein of ore, but! “He says with a twinkle in his eye, “I for one would still enjoy exploring the tunnels of this ol’ stone” They bow as you take your leave, landing on the edge of the settlement this time. You ask one of children to fetch Irikit Thall Erkat, the child giggles as it gathers some friends for the task.

After some wait, you see the old warrior making his way between the tents, he bows deeply once he is near you, “You summoned me, my lord?”

You dip your head in conformation, “Indeed Irikit, for I seek a captain of sorts for an expedition of sorts. We'll make an excursion back to Lotik to salvage what we can, and ward off any looters”.

The silver headed warrior does not seem surprised by the mission you just proposed, “Yes I was a warrior, but it would seem counterproductive for me to leave the city, especially with your absence, since I was just appointed to maintain the law. I mean not to disagree, my Lord, but to simply share my views” Irikit continues on though, apparently prepared for such a mission, “Of the 3000 or so people present here, about 250 are warriors. Many were lost in the battle” His voice lacks any sorrow, a man use to the price of battles, “It would be wrong to bring to many warriors, leaving the settlement defenseless, and cause supplies complications”. Finally the old man turned towards you, “A veteran of sorts suitable to lead the expedition would be Aranya Thall Erkat, though, he is somewhat blood thirsty after he lost his family”

“Your wisdom is sound, Irikit” You say with a chucle, “Aranya Thall Erkat shall lead the warriors. Without my presence, or Venvia, the settlement will need as many warriors as possible, pick out 10 who shall come with me”.
A small smile breaks the old warriors face at the decision, “A wise choice, my Lord. I shall get to work gathering the expedition at once” He bows and marches away. A strange man, but efficient. You are glad you appointed him to protect the peace, a practical man.

You fly back to your lair, finding Venvia still sleeping on a pile of crystals. Is she gathering more crystals into her pile? That reminds you, you need more GOLD. You quickly reach Venvia, bumping your head against hers. She cracks one eye open, and on seeing simply says, “Zokarth”, before curling up tighter on her mound of crystals. She seems to always be impossible to wake up. You head butt her again, hard this time, she simply snorts. You latch onto her with your four claws, and flap your wings. Slowly you lift her off her mound, she starts to panic when she realizes she is not on the ground any more, “Okay, okay! I’m up!” You sort of roughly dump her back down on her mound of crystals, Venvia mumbling something about you being stupid, which is impossible.

“What are we doing?” Venvia asks as you make your way out of the mountain.
You wait a moment before replying,” We are setting out on an expedition to salvage what we can at Lotik”.
Venvia grumbles something about “better find mah crystals”.

You both glide down to the settlement’s edge, spotting a gathering of shining metal and carts, it seems that Irikit is a quick worker as well. You land near the warriors, who all bow to your beauty. One with a sash of green silk over his armor, along with one of black approaches you, bowing deeper than the others, “My Lord, I am Aranya Thall Erkat. Irikit appointed me the honor of leading your warriors, my Lord, with your grace”. This man is a soldier, he stands at attention, apparently awaiting you.. grace?

“Aranya Thall Erkat, I will gladly allow you to lead these warriors, you seem competent enough” This seems to be the right thing to say, Aranya relaxing his posture at your words. “Aranya, shall we begin?” The warrior springs into action, running towards the cart and spurring the men and camels into action. You are quickly leaving the settlement in the distance, the trip will take several hours, and it seems that your presence shall grace your warriors during this time. This also allows you the time to ask some questions.

The carts are a curious thing. Instead of wheels, in their place are long slabs of wood, which are more easily pulled over the sea of sand. Trusty camels are the beast of burden, for now they carry only the carts and your warriors. You’re five carts/sleds set off into the desert, making good time over the sands. You easily keep past with the camels and your warriors on foot. There is a small sense of caution in the air, coming from your warriors, not you of course. Perhaps they fear seeing Planewalkers, or wish to be on their best behavior with you present.

You decide to break the ice by asking Aranya Thall Erkat a quesiton, “Aranya, tell me more of your people, I wish to know more about my followers”.
The warrior besides you struggles up a dune before answering you, “My lord, we are known to many, but they call us all by different titles. We have taken to calling ourselves the Thall, which in our language means ‘foe’”.
What strange mortals, why would you mark yourself as an enemy to all? You remain silent, expecting this lesser being to explain more, “We are loved by no Gods, and thus, hated by all. You can find Thall in every part of the world where it is hard to survive, but always we are warring with those who are not us. The Humans, the Elves, the Dwarves, the Incar, for the people of Lotik is was those damned Sandpeople”, he says with a snort.
“You know, before I saved the people of Lotik, I slayed 50 Sandpeople by myself” That of course, was a lie. There had been 35, and a good number had run off, but you won!
Aranya looks up to you with wonder, “Truly you are a great warrior!” He says astonished. He calls over to another warrior, “Palakish! Zokarth the mighty slayed 50 sand people single handedly!” This causes the various other warriors to break out in talk, first they ask you questions, then each other, finally they start boasting about their own battles.
>>
>>35011015
You speak to Aranya as the others relate their great combats, “You were saying about your people?”

Aranya looks away from one warrior telling of how he slayed a “sandworm”, whatever that is. “Yes Lord. It was not always like this, for the Thall once had a grand city. The name, I dare not speak, for it is lost from us, and thus, we shall always mourn it. It was burned down by the vile wyrm, Ra’Zakor, the Destroyer of Worlds”. Aranya whispers the name of the Ra’Zakor , staring off into the distance, a sorrowful expression on his face.

You can of course push for information, but would Aranya be bitter about it? It seems a touchy subject for Thalls, you can always find the story in other archives.

Push for more information?

Your expedition continues on to Lotik, the atmosphere more inviting since you started up conversation. One female warrior starts to talk to Venvia, praising her magnificent crystals and kind personality. Venvia giggles at her compliments, and thanks her. They continue to chat as you and Aranya walk ahead, you wish to know more about the city you hatched in, so decide to open up talking about the city, “You know, I have found this city you mentioned, there are rivers of lava, mounds of skulls, and dark beast which stalk the lands. I found a cult of Ra’Zakor, and did battle with them. I crushed them” You didn’t really, but mortals don’t need to know such details, only that you are the grandest being, “And destroyed their place of worship”. Aranya once again looks up at you with wonder in his eyes.
“Truly, you are meant to lead my people, for you are greater than any of us”, Aranya looks off in the distance and sighs before turning back to you. “The great city of the Thalls was built long, long ago. Empires has risen and been destroyed since its destruction, but still, we remember. It was built to be the one city in the world which none could compare to, and it was. Sadly, that was it its downfall. The other races grew jealous of our great city, and besieged it. When the mighty walls held for years, and the people who were suppose to be trapped in a city feasted everyday and everynight, the foul beast called upon their Gods. Their cruel, creators”
>>
>>35011808
Malice has entered into Aranya’s voice, but he still carried on, “And answered their Gods did, they sent down Ra’zakor, who has been slumbering for years uncountable. His fire melted the walls, incinerated the people, and cracked the very earth. Our enemies settled into the ruins of our city. Ruins that were still grandeur than their most beloved city. For years they mocked us by dancing on the graves of our ancestors, until all Thall met. It was a horde like no other, countless Thall marched on the city, and besieged it. We are not weak like our enemies, we tore down the sad replicas of what walls use to stand, and marched upon the palace. But our enemies are greedy. When their Gods did not hear their call, they sought out the power of the demons, the creatures of another realm. That is why it is a hellish landscape, for the Humans, the Elves, the Dwarves, the Incar, and the Learik let their greed consume them” You continue onto the city in silence, though Aranya did glance over you with wonder sometimes. You on the other hand remained stoic as you contemplated what you were just told.

Obviously this information is heavily biased from the point of the Thall. No doubt, thousands of years of this story being passed down has painted it with more blood and glory than it really possessed. Still, it truly is an interesting tale. You will have to find other sources of information to cross reference facts, and find the truth that has been subjected to thousands of years of distortion. If only you had your magik Princapica.

You actually gained Aranya's loyalty because ya'll decided to talk about your time in the city!

I'm still writing, but I just thought this was a break in the story, and I wanted to keep you guys reading!

When you reach the town of Lotik, little has changed. There is destruction about, but the blood has dried, the oasis in the center has been contaminated by a multitude of corpses. With grim faces, your warriors set to work. They gather mostly tools and food, supplies the settlement needs. You search high above until you find what looks to be a town hall of some sorts, its spires and great volume of silk marking it as a building more important than the others. You land outside, Venvia following close, “Zokarth, what beautiful cloth these people use! I wish I could have seen it before the Planewalkers destroyed it” excitement is in her voice, her eyes searching all over, soaking in the details. “ Talli says that this city was beautiful once, the wind making all the clothes dance!”
“Who is Talli?” You ask, not being able to suppress a grin as Venvia, her giddy personality taking a hold of you as well.
“She is one of your followers, she thinks the world of you,Zokarth! So many of the Thall do”. She says with a smile. You return it simply stating,
“I am sure many of the Thall admire you too Venvia”, her light laughter floats through the ruins of the city. The two of you continue to search the once mighty building for GOLD, and maybe crystals for Venvia. You are about to give up the search when you see a small glint of metal under a pile of wood.
>>
>>35012186
Swiping the wreckage away with your hand reveals a small vault. Venvia walks over, curious . When she sees the vault, she claws down at the metal. The metal yields to her crystalline claws, revealing a large cache in the floor. It’s a bit small for you to completely fit in, but you can reach what’s inside, a hefty treasure chest, with several more deeper in the vualt. You and Venvia eagerly open the chest up, two are full of GOLD, while a dual set of chest are full of precious gems, rubies, sapphires, and so forth. Sadly, there are 6 chest of silver, which is disappointing. Still, you and Venvia happily make your way to the carts, loading up your chest in several trips. You decide after some debate to also bring the silver.

The carts are all full of things the settlement needs. Grains, tools, metal, ore, and your GOLD and Venvia’s crystals. You start to make the return trip to the settlement, you start to ask Arayna about the names people use, when you spot something on the distance. You fly up into the sky to get a better look. It is a long column of people, you can tell by their silver hair that they are Thall, they seem haggard and tired. You can tell they are refugees. Not because of their appearance, but mainly because they are coming from the direction the Planewalkers were heading.
