StrikerS has a lot of problems but were worse on airing due to A: lots of hype that wasn't delivered, B: some very promising episodes/two-parters that looked like said hype would finally deliver before going back to being not good, C: pacing issues aren't as bad when you can marathon. One other major weakness of the franchise is the lack of explanation of the magic system. About half of the important fluff can't be collected from the actual anime - Stuff like Starlight Breaker gaining barrier piercing properties in A's, which is only explained in the manga.

From here on out, it's tactical espionage action Marisa mode. Peeking through the handhold on the box, you crawl across the floor, being sure to stop every time Mama looks towards you from the dishes with a tiny little grin. You aren't sure what's got her so happy, though, maybe it's the way Other Mama is getting into whatever game she's playing? She seems more than a bit frustrated with the current boss, which looks like some sort of cross between an angel and one of those creepy tentacle things you see come up on your feed every now and then.

"And someone in their double digits should know when they should be sleeping," she replies, quite a bit softer than you'd prefer. She sighs again, as she bring you into your room, rubbing her forehead. "Like mothers, like daughter, I suppose. But if that sort of thing really interests you... Marisa, Hope and I are going to have an important talk with you tomorrow, okay?"

"Okay...?" Your response is more a question than an answer.
