Some things change, some things don’t.” You think on it for a second. “Hm. It would’ve been just High School for us.”

Nancy smiles. “But the best kind of High School of course!”

It’s hard to imagine. You probably would’ve had a normal high school experience had you gone to any other kind of Academyship. But you chose LGA. And, you reap what you sow you suppose.

After getting dropped off at the station, you all took the drive over to the staging area in various auxiliary vehicles, mostly halftracks. Your tanks would be transported via tank transporter to the staging area. You look to see a whole carnival of things at the viewing area. Booths set up for souvenirs, grills and bars set up with TVs to watch the match, little kids and their parents walking about.

The Japanese students meet with their benefactors, Kay, Maho Nishizumi, Darjeeling, and Kinuyo Nishi. Nezumi runs over to Maho and quickly salutes.

Maho proceeds to pat her head, surprising. “E-Eh? Nishizumi-sama?”

“It is okay,” says Maho. “Did you have fun with LGA?”

Alisa nods. “We are having fun now! The school is a bastion of American culture.”

“I see,” says Darjeeling. “Well you know what they say, ‘The American identity has never been a singular one and the voices of poets invariably sing, in addition to their own, the voices of those around them.’” Darjeeling looks at her puzzled colleagues. “Aberjhani.”

Kay grins, crossing her arms. “Well, Gertrude. Our girls think they’re ready. Hopefully we’ll see you in the Spring?”

Perrine smiles, hugging you tightly. “Hugs! Just want to say, Gertrude. We’re happy to see you make it to the finals. We’re with you all the way!”
