Rolled 63 (1d100)

Last time the battle rages on with the Republic warfleet. Currently we successfully broke their formation and our highly unpleasant booby trap desolated a few of their fleets. Reinforcements arrived both those we 'hired', the armada, and even the Combine joined in once we jammed their comms.

However we are still heavily outnumbered by the enemy and with their formation broken they are finally starting to bring the full brunt of their superior numbers down upon us. Meanwhile their legendary hero has finally revealed himself and with company by boarding our mothership.

The republic forces have successfully invaded all our installations and even our colony. Despite the counter attack from bots. While we may have more heroes then the enemy they have the numbers...

Just for the sake of conversation, I am going to suggest "operation double talk" again.

Firstly The commander needs to chalenge the legandary hero to 1v1, hand to hand combat, Non lethal fight, knock out or submission, loser leaves the system.

MEANWHILE Mal sends a doctored "live stream" to all of the enemy coms he currently has control of, showing the legendary hero admitting to some foul crime at the expense of the republic.

This should break enemy morale, and earn the legendary faggot a court marshal . At that point it doesn't matter if the commander wins or loses, and furthermore if shit goes south we can always heroic sacrifice..

IMO its a solid, well rounded idea, with multiple opportunities to secure a clean victory without costing any more lives.
>>
Rolled 52 (1d100)

>>34753260
Heh that would be funny. But I'm sure the commander is not a 1 vs 1 type like the Super soldiers.

Also I still want to do the pirate adventure.

Now for what we some what pieced together.
>>34753054

>Action 1 + bonus tireless action
Mastermind and Commander do what you can to take the hero and boarding party down. Use what resources, troops, heroes and abilities needed to win this.

>Action 2
Move the ship and have any of our fleet not currently proccupied to the bulk of the Combine forces, their job is to try and protect or move us and the latched enemy vessel towards the Combine fleet where hopefully our combined numbers and proximity to Combine forces can be of aid.

I believe we have a Captain Kimor who can help with ship movement.

>MAL's Synchronized
MAL is to keep up communions and cyber warfare.

Do any of the heroes have something to say, add or change?

Only thing I would like to add is seeing if some of the other factions can take our the damaged ships before they become a problem again.
>>
>>34753541
I like it, but that's not a syncro action.
Syncro is when we devote Mal's effort to another action BESIDES his independent action we can choose to make that action a "syncro" action, due to Mal's efficiency, so instead of counting as 2 actions it counts as 2.5.

Otherwise I like the actions, but I think we need to include any skills we want I use this round, I'm sure the commander+mastermind have something to combo-throw at this..
>>
>>34754390
It's also a free action. I main reason for saying Synchronized is because Genie said I need to if we want to use it.

That's what I'm not sure on. I want to leave it to them to use what skills and abilities best fit. I guess they could mess up. But I have faith in them to be smart about this. The mastermind making the trap and the commander give all the info he can about the person and moving the ground troops.

Despite our best efforts...our forces failed to bring down the hero with his boarding party. If anything it was a fucking disaster on our end. Our forces got fucking slaughtered even our heroes seemed to be on a chopping block until our Mastermind used his failsafe.

Despite our gauntlets, countermeasures, or sacrifice. The enemy seemed to be unstoppable and either found or made weaknesses within us before striking. Number of our forces even turned traitor.

>Just as planned

Enabled them to escape. Sadly...we have lost the mothership to the enemy.

Republic Morale as increased.

...which puts me in a rather tight spot btw. I am sorta on this captured vessel...which leads to another problem I am afraid.

Meanwhile when we attempted to move our forces amongst the Combine fleet. There they tried to do some maneuvers...problem was this confused both our forces which crippled them considering the resulting action.

...our mothership used the T3S Cannon and just a black buster amongst the fleet while at the same time the Republic forces descended upon them.

Suffice to say the combine fleet and our own forces were utterly annihilated. Confusion sown...crippling of movement followed by a super weapon and timed mass assault proved too much.

Combine hero has fallen.

Republic morale has surged.

Meanwhile thanks to losing the mothership and their assault of my core...I sorta slipped. Even worst the Republic had somehow timed it so that as soon as there was a flicker or it fell down for the slightest moment they unleashed a mass charged surge of communications.

Republic Communications online.

Republic Morale boosted.

Messages sent forth.

With such a large turn around and such devastating losses in the space front...

Our remaining forces in space are being routed.

Our installations have fallen and our ground side are heavily demoralized and about to fall.

If you lose your last settlement/people its game over.

You currently only have 1 settlement left...the colony. Which will soon fall.

The installations are all invaded, the ships are all captured or routed, even the mothership is under enemy control. The only assets we still have are the credits...but those are on the mothership so we don't have access to them. We're pretty much just right proper fucked.

There was a time.

We were the Memor.

From below, a vast flesh horde led by the Heart of the Swamp invaded us, crushed our forces with immunity and no mercy. Our greatest and only allies, the Ghouls were vanquished. We made one last great push and rolled a 1, and lost all of the the base to a final room. Volk our hero who was to unleash his new spiders, they turned on him.

And yet, when all seemed lost, we did one thing:

Sacrifice

Warlord Duelfist, our mightest hero and leader, descended upon the Heart and spared the Memor to live another day.

If such a time were near, that time would be now.

To be fair Genie, we anticipated the potential loss of the Mothership and asked what would be a good amount of people for it to survive with the complete destruction of our original HQ. Like I said, the odds are completely stacked against our favor. But we have been here before and we have escaped out of it.

it took sacrifice.

And if we cannot live, if we are doomed, then may we take them out with us. The republic lost half a fleet and half their heroes, all we ask is the other half and one more.
>>
>>34755636
Alright after a quick shower and a clear head.

MAL is your hub still on the mother ship? If so how much of it can you control.

Next bit of info is how much do we know about our mother ship as the Sponsor?

Out of the people to have to die I believe we should be the first to go. Once we clear the ship we need to move to the desert base and save our people with the commander. I just hope we kill the hero with the next action. Then we can use the republic's comms at rely his death.
>>
>>34756449
I don't know why we say they "won" they broke the krulsade and all but they had to be broken up to survive. Dr Kahar or whatever got what he wanted, so I guess HE won... Kinda
>>
Also, just getting this far took days, entire days of careful ceaseless planning of the most careful kind with ALL our assets.

And that was at our height. Maybe in the scope of time there exists a plan to save us, but not even I could think we could get it in the night.
>>
Rolled 99 (1d100)

Yes.

Not much their are already cracking the system and using overrides.

As the sponsor...you don't really know too much besides it being an odd vessel.

>>34756521
the fact that people talk like that in regards to the setting...makes me feel all weird inside. Like i did my job right in making it all come to life.

They one their objective, to become sucessful think tankers and scientists under Umbra. Even if V101 no longer exists, their goals were secured.

So too the Blood Snow, they wanted their island, and they got it. Even if their heroes left them and were never seen again, except for Marco.

These are the meanings of success. Operation Market Garden for the Memor, creating the avatar of their God organ by organ by the cultists. It's not if they live in the same way they did before, but if they accomplish what they set out to do.

Here we set out to form a colony that will live in our demise.
>>
>>34756517
Can you put your suggestion in action format?

Also, if anything I want Mizar/Mazar to get out, they're one of the most interesting hero concepts we've had to date.
>>
>>34756517
Nah, you don't want to kill the sponsor. Without the sponsor things will really go to shit. With the sponsor we can Walk Around and such to boost morale and cohesion, which we will desperately need after this if we survive.
>>
>>34756580
Although, a secondary goal was to annihilate aliens. Which, with the destruction of half a republic fleet and tricking the combine to join in and get wrecked, I'd say we did remarkably not half bad.
>>
>>34756666
We did what we do best. We caused a giant clusterfuck of a war that we have no business being involved in.

We need to get back our mothership and gtfo. We still have almost 300 credits to start over somewhere else with a new identity.
>>
>>34756536
Really in order to make it out of this we need to get our ship back, see if we can save our base and if not we get out.

We know someone will probably need to die to do this and I believe the sponsor/mastermind will be the ticket.

>>34756570
Dam I was hoping for more.

IF we can get back into the mother ship. Could the mad engineer rig the life support to weaken the enemy?

>>34756633
We lost a fair amount of people already. The commander is needed to save the ground base. MAL is needed to make the robots kick ass. We need Karamazov to make the hero's dead hit home and the break the enemy's moral when we kill their hero. That leaves us MAD Genius engy and the mastermind/sponsor.

I really do believe we can use the masterminds trap power to kill those that hold the ship with the commander's abilities.

Mal can probably take back the mothership with his sacrifice, or re-scramble republic comms and cripple their ships. The Commander can probably take care of either recapturing the mothership, dealing a good blow against the republic fleets, or defending our colony/facilities. Karamazov can make sure that our troops are imminently inspired by her father's sacrifice (maybe) or possibly use the chaos created by her father to gain peace.

I would discourage sacrificing the sponsor because...i dunno, a bad feeling, and I wouldn't sacrifice the scientist or mastermind because they are recent acquisitions and their sacrifice wouldn't hit as hard I think.

It's never good to ask someone of this, But it's all we have.

Commander I have all my faith in you to do this. {Sacrifice} Lets {Breach} the ship and take back our ship with {Endless} might.

MAL {HAX} what you can and help us get in. Slow the enemy's fleet how ever you can.

Once we find the hero use what ever we can to stop him. Mastermind we will need to really on you and the MAD Genius to have a {Supreme Designed} trap. {Just As Planned} We will win this fight and show the republic not to mess with us again with.

Karamazov do what you can to {Utterly Devastate} the enemy's moral and boost our own.

His actions got so bad even humanity became disgusted over the atrocities committed especially once he went after 'race traitors'.

Eventually the republic beseeches humanity to help stop him....and unofficially outright begged.

By that logic we were going to lose our settlement regardless of our choices, which may be true. By not running when we set off the bomb was our mistake.
>>
>>34758750

When a superpower's warfleet shows up? Yeah, our dinky ass colony and tiny fleet are going to suffer some severe losses pretty much no matter what we do. Maybe if we'd blown all our creds of mercs it would've been different.
>>
>>34758832
That is what we sorta did, or at least an assload of colonists. Problem is they took way too much time to arrive.
>>
>>34758602
He and company were only stopped once proof of daughter's life was provided, treaty was signed, granted privileges, and force was provided.

Contact was then lost...until recently.

Kazov found a sponsor.

Kazov aka Richard Kliesti his actual identity.

Richard Kliesti was a bad boy...from the very beginning. Records are rather fuzzy but he had a record hence when he enlisted was given the worst assignments. Back then they were desperate as shit for manpower even with mass cloned troopers picking up.

Joined in order to go straight because of his daughter. His gang followed him and enlisted as well once their homeworld seemed in the way.

Birth of his daughter and her mother's high position for some reason caused him to clean up his act....problem was it wasn't enough. He needed to prove himself and with his lack of 'brilliance' along with record gave few options.

So he enlisted and not only fought in such conflicts were even cloned troopers were spared from but survived...no thrived in it. He fought his way up tooth and nail. Just as he did before...as it turned out he a talent for this sorta thing.

Not to mention was gifted in killing *ahem* purging things.

This wasn't enough however as his daughter's mother left him and ditched their daughter. This made things hard for him but he tried his best to go on...until the fateful day where while he was on deployment the world where she was on fell.

He assumed the worst...and the resulting anger/agony overwhelmed him.

While many of his feats had to be redacted due to their nature...he was still at least somewhat known to the public even before 'those' events occurred.

All for the sake of one final showing.

"Well if it isn't...wait *listens to report* aw shit. If it wasn't for...fuck."

*cracks knuckles*

Heroic sacrifice engaged...

Legendary hero has fallen.

Redacted BLACK hero Kazov aka Richard Kliesti has fallen...

The fight for its worth...was surprisingly equal but slowly Richard was winning and with his fail safes gone...he quickly fell before him.

However Richard was grievously injured while getting there and taking note of the vessel...began to make mutter a message while taking command of the battered boobytrap mothership and adjust its course.

Karamazov is currently...preoccupied.

Volker Clan is currently pushing outwards from the star.

Outer reach republic forces in converging on mercs and armada. Unfortunately for them...the Spawns had their shit well established. Even worst the UUU and SS were behind their lines causing havoc.

Meanwhile at the colony whose defenses were being overwhelmed they noticed a ship blazing towards them.

OH SHIT OH SHIT FUCK THIS.

"Uh wait isn't that where all our important shi-OH FUCK."

Republic forces planetside have been decimated.

New landmark Crashed Mothership.

A few questions since I've been away:

Would MAL be able to buy time by going 'dormant'?

Are there any weak points left in the republic's fleet by their bold move towards our mothership?

Would a concentrated rush by our fighter pilots have a chance of boarding the mother ship and establishing a beachead? alternatively, could we depressurize her without damaging the core systems?

how do planet crackers work? do they leave infrastructure/ships in place? What force will likely arrive at the colony?

How many colonists could we evacuate?
>>
>>34759055

If you mean right now specifically then: >>34759157

If you mean in general in this situation then, the Republic would've pursued us to the ends of the earth because of our Commander. So we figured we might as well make our stand here.

>>
Rolled 82 (1d100)

>>34762865
You could.

As for what you find...

there is NOTHING on this Genie thing. Apparently its utterly unheard off. Though you do find out stuff mythology wise but in game...nope. Not for characters supposedly their a type of monster and can hand out rewards

Clannar...has even less then Genie. As in nothing at all.

Human is the basic most popular one as not many other races have been unlocked.

Due to all your specials you found out you lost access to the other choices of Dwarve, Elf, Human, other, and Mystery are apparently what others get on their lists.

They all say beware mystery and other requires you to be clever.

Deity is something related to divinity or spirits. Supposedly its possible to get a special blessing from them or even a modifier. Half gods have been known, while demi gods are common, and supposedly you can become one even as mortal...

Their stats aren't known as no one has pulled it off yet.

Outsider in game mentions the sort of beings in the 'beyond'. Places where summons happens, spirits dwell, or worst.

>>34762898
You could stick with deity and see what happens...but you may not like the cost.
>>
Rolled 73 (1d100)

>>34762898
new thread will be soon or could create one.

If votes keep staying difficult I wont have much choice.

>>34763001
According to online sources about Twisted Genie.

Those who tend to playing elves are either plain, ugly, hippies, hipsters, or special snow flakers if not worst.

Dwarves draw an older audience who are more patient. Unfortunately grognads and neckbeards are also big fans. Surprisingly their players ACTUALLY live up their notoriety. Unlike the elves whom fail miserably.

Humans are a mix bunch.

Furries are clamoring to get the beast folk unlocked and are desperately working towards that goal. They even tried to threaten the makers.

Most of everyone else is tend to sabotage them whenever possible. Unfortunately there is mentionings of an unholy alliance between the brony and the furry IF they can provide proof of horse/pony beastfolk if not outright centaur like options.

This has a number of other groups up in a tizzy.

There are whispers of there being other 'hidden' options to somehow 'unlock' at start as well as it being possible to change your race in game, but precious little is known about them.

Rolled 52 (1d100)

Info on starting locations...

Azstrom Mountains are typically chosen by dwarven creators rich in raw materials but expensive everything else not to mention a bit more on the dangerous side.

Countless Coast is massive coastline cheap basic goods and weaker monsters. Very popular among cautious or beginners. Including explorers as once you check it out you have only one way a to go...further in land to explore as it leaves a clear objective.

Stormcrown Islands are a chain of Islands ruled over by an insanely strong son of a bitch. Very popular among the strong, brave, or very stupid. Just as it is 'rich' its also dangerous. On the plus side it grants plenty of routes to go to places on this world or even beyond.

Sadly its hard as hell to start there due to to the expense and danger. Even in the starter zones are nasty enough to make an a veteran quake.

Jagged Jungle is...well. REALLY easy to get lost and the monsters are strong, but at least basic gear is cheap...

Metracomplexis is a gigantic volume of ruins or still ongoing civilizations stacked on top of one another. Its considered 'moderate' in just about everything unless you delve a little too deeply...
>>
>>34763277
When Genie mentions that we may not like the cost you should really be more wary.

It could be as lame as a mere spark or something like being a demigod or half breed.

Not to mention cost...for something that is so well known in game and at creation to boot.
>>
>>34763417
That's a bad argument, seeing as we don't know what Clannar are. It's pure mystery so it's impossible to come up with reasons against it.

As a clannar you gained an additional 17 stat points to allot wherever you wish.

You have gained 3 talents in whatever you choose.

You gained 2 FREE skill unlocks in whatever you choose. These skills are NOT included in the maximum. In other words SUPAH FREE.

Due to crit on looks you gained Pure Hotness. Your charisma stat counts as if its doubled in regards to appearance.

Your literally so hot the game engine broke so hard as in its not possible to make yourself that attractive during creation even as a bishi elf.

Coast locked...yeesss.

You do not have to choose the talents, skills, or points asap. You can use them whenever.

Free skills however are defaulted to burn first you may change this in the options menu.

You find yourself coming in from a ship...it REALLY likes nice. Considering you can TASTE the salty sea air as you come in. Across the coastline you can see jagged rocks, reefs, and massive sand dunes along the coast. While further ahead you notice scrublands, forests, plains, and in the far distance what appears to be mountains.

The ship your on appears to be pulling into a city harbor where you and other noobs are being dropped off. You can even see them popping in from thin air looking around.

Alas though it seems you have drawn a bit of attention on yourself...damn sexy body. Don't even know how that glitched happened. Maybe your just that hot irl.

Anyway you notice a glitch notification appears...two in fact. One informs you of your orientation 'mistake' FUCK. THATS WHY YOU CAN'T FEEL LIKE FUCKING ANYONE.

It states as an apology your granted special Trait

Aced Sex God.

...oh the irony. WTF YOU CAN'T EVEN ENJOY IT WHAT THE HELL.

The next message states about how the system messed up with your appearance during creation and states you get a boost to charisma as a sorry.

Fuck dis game.

At least the stuff wasn't too unpleasant but holy shit people weren't kidding about the randomness.

Eventually you do succeed in being dropped off where your then ushered into the city. There in a cleared zone you and the crowd of other uber noobs are brought before a speaker who talks abou the game. The gest of it is this.

You stuck in the city for three and a half weeks in order to get use to the game along with not dying horribly. This time you earn money to afford gear, check out game mechanics, find your class, and do quests among other things.

Game days are roughly equal to about 6 hours irl. You have a shitty canteen and bread to start with to keep you alive to start. You also start with 10 coppers the lowest type of in game currency.

Currency works as the following Copper, bronze, silver, gold, platinum. Copper is lowest/cheapest.

After that your let go what do?

Indeed it is but good luck earning it. Its one of the more...hidden or harder to access classes.

There are a number of such classes hidden throughout the world besides the basic ones you can find at places like guilds.

Go see if we have access to an in-game description of the Clannar (or something) now.

Try to find a more veteran player to tell us about the stat system and give recommendations.
>>
>>34771069
Realistically though, spells and such probably cost money. So we'll have to play a hybrid spellcaster at first.

Oh, we should ask the noobs if they got any stat points to distribute and how many (and etc.). To see what being a Clannar gave us that they didn't get.

There are five rough class groups. Artisan, crafters, combat, explorer, and hidden.

Hidden you have to find while most of the other stuff is available at the right guilds.

An in game explanation explains Clannars being a member of the clans and are amazingly strong humans. Supposedly its hard to join them and they are rather secretive. Its believed those rare clannars that are seen on this continent are actually from another that has yet to be released.

A veteran player simply states the stat system will grow along with the player and change. So pick carefully where you put your points.

Recommendations wise veteran player suggests avoiding the artisan classes like the plague as they are even worst then crafters well besides ones like bards which can be surprisingly useful. At least with crafters they can make useful shit...the veteran however warns you of there supposedly being 'secret' classes that are also shit. A few of which are even worst then artisans of all things. So going for a secret class can be surprisingly risky in addition to finding one at all.

>>34771661
When you ask around you find out the noobs only had 5 points for distribution to start. These five points you get each time you level up till you hit 25. Then it decreases to 4 until level 100. 3 points till 250 after which is 2.

There are supposedly other ways to earn points besides leveling.

You have almost 4 times the amount of the usual noob. So your roughly equal to a level 5 character you monster.

This isn't including the fact you also possess free talents and skill slots as well...
>>
>>34773139

Are there any sub-types of explorers or crafters?

>>34773401

Rolled 32 (1d100)

Basically the 'clannar' turned you into a boss monster to start with. As is player characters are a tad bit broken but that doesn't mean you should underestimate in game forces.

You also noticed in your character profile you had 'clan tats'. Looking at yourself it turns out your body is covered in tatoos. In contacts it states you have a contact in the mega organization known as 'clans'.

>>34773426
Its possible but you wont gain in special benefit...but due to be a clannar it has given you some breathing room in that regard. Classes are useful because they offer special skills, stat boosts, and more.

>>34773401
Yup.

one the most notorious is the Dwarven War Smith. When the game recently came out the Crafters who viewed almost on the level as the artisans...until one day between player guild warfare. A certain dwarven smith took to the battlefield.

At the time it was believed there were npc only classes...that dwarf character proved them wrong. Around that time the Npc warsmiths were already a notorious bunch but the fact a player managed to join them and single handily enhanced the armaments of an ENTIRE army and build siege equipment that could devastate defensive lines...to add insult to injury said player would later make a reappearance a few months later leading not just siege equipment but ACTUAL war machines into battle.

War smiths to this day are a dreaded appearance on the a battlefield even between mass pvp and not just npc groups.

The first warsmith player appeared about a few months after release. Once it was proven to be possible to acquire npc only classes there was a gold rush in finding these secrets. This was when it was found out that there were in fact secret classes that were awful.

After that the player disappeared again for months only to later reappear with proper war machines.

>>34773426
jobs, training, quests ect.

Supposedly there are even some hidden fighting zones or dungeons of all things.

>>
Rolled 94 (1d100)

Hidden classes are hidden especially considering the world actively changes so even previous routes that work could easily fail.

Otherwise there is synergy between stats that influence each other.

>>34773664
The two videos show casing the first player war smith are still quite popular awhile later. Even now after show casing the war machines the player hasn't bothered to disappear since.

The player's name is Mogrim Smeik of the Wrath Guild. Thanks to him they went from a backwater guild to one of the most fearsome.

The game has only been out for a number of months now. The highest level characters are in the 200s range.

Ah.

Really, I've never played a tabletop game before or familiar with any system beyond Genies, so I'm mostly just lurking and seeing where I can move in.
>>
>>34774348
Despite that, I REALLY wish Genie would take the goldmine that is his system and put it in a big book that I would legitimately save up and pay 100$ for so I can take a knack at running Civ quests like him.

there is not enough love for Nobody's sci-fi fantasy civ quest
>>
>>34774290

We can't just invest points into armor (I'd love to) so I didn't. I presume there are spells or implants or stuff like that which we can get that'll toughen our skin and improve our base armor...but other than those rare things it's likely just actual armor for us.

monks are one of the bigger favorites for bullshit classes.

Seriously though the shit they can pull is whacked. Especially once they get some special training.

The two strongest martial players in the game.

1 Ravma is a spear wielder much to the ass pain of about everyone.
2 Horshi is a monk who kicks people's ass with bare fists or whatever happens to be at hand(literally this guy once had a video where he beat the third strongest martial player in a market place grabbing whatever was at hand). The fight was said to be so humiliating for the other player has yet to log back in.

Those two are roughly equal with each other and no else has managed to beat them if their also martial. The few videos that show them fighting each other are quite popular albeit rare.

The two of them regular seem to taunt each other and others are convinced they hate each other. If one is one side of the battlefield one could rest assured the other would be on the opposing side.

>>34774741
Following the noob who find he is madly whacking a dummy with a wooden sword as if his life depends on it...he does this for hours. What is real strange though is the fact he seems to be burning out faster then the usual players not to mention looking much more miserable.

however that doesn't stop him whatsoever. You notice that he also seems to have a weapons rack which we will off and on switch weapons out before continuing.

From what you can determine from the other players this guy is also unusually famous around here. For the sheer fact that unlike most other players he actually sticks around for 2 hours everyday(till about in game noon) grinding in there. After that he does jobs/crafting and no one is quite sure where he disappears during night fall about another two hours...or where he gets crafting materials so easily despite not being allowed out of the city yet.

So far he has only done this for a few days but he has begun to attract attention.

Epilogue the Colony

After the vicious fight...that those in space could never comprehend reconstruction began. It was slow going as the fighting was beyond vicious. The scars, damage, and wrecks ran deep. Too deep.

A lot of needed patching ended up using wrecks and salvage. On the plus side independence was secured but it was hard to truly thankful considering the costs...

All naval forces wiped out.
Mothership utterly wrecked.
Countless dead.
Army/militia forces destroyed.
Colony damaged beyond belief.

It looked to be hard to get back up their feet but amazingly the Pirate Princess of the Pirate Armada came through with some help. And even a old 'friend' of the Commander also came around with aid.

It barely made things bearable but thus is the price of independence.
>>

Epilogue
I...well it was rather nice I got to survive and all...but wee bit stuck.

Again.

Goddamn it. Might be able to get out sooner if I do something mad or super.....but I am rather fond of remaining intact contrary to popular belief I don't like being taken apart much less having my innards played with.

Still...all the flesh bags didn't seem to survive the crash and as we came down I had to automate the systems for breaking through.

We crashed so hard even many of the surviving bots are kinda wiped...its awfully lonely in here also dark.

oh dear its all leaking...knew it was a good idea to have that hardening done heheh.

Anyway the Commander died making sure the ship crashed where it was most needed...sadly this shook up his daughter rather badly. Noticed she came here immidiately probably hoping he's still alive...oh she might think I am also dead.

In that case I am gonna play dead...she scares me.

"OH MAL I KNOW YOUR IN HERE AND STILL KICKING."

Goddamn it she's worse then the MADs...
>>
>>34777555
It's more that a ship graveyard, it's a FLEET graveyard. There are at least 2 full war fleets destroyed over here, plus countless private fleets of various backgrounds and origins.

Everybody ended this with their tails between their legs. Except the prate princess and us.

Having traded the salvage rights to the pirate princess we can be sure nobody else is going to trifle around over here.

I would think that the citizens of Mal-ingrad would continue to robotically mine the system with the help of Mal's abundance of robots.

Things are looking bright for these guys.

Now as for the sponsor...seems to have left once the colony was finished. Claimed to want to play a game or some bullshit like that.

I don't really get it. Maybe that one will return maybe not.

The mastermind too departed after leaving a message for Karamazov from her father. Lucky bastard being able to getaway don't blame him for not wanting to stick around for when she reads it...

As for everyone else supposedly special same to assume they died less they were ground side in which case odds of survival only marginally improved. On the plus side the colony and plane-er moon was officially named.

Myself was used for the capital colony. Makes mee feel weird...hope they don't think its me being a narcissistic.

As for karamazov...well losing her dad was hard on her obviously. especially considering what he did to save everyone and them thanking her/condolences only made it worst. As you know the saying adding insult to injury.

It got even worst when she found those messages he left for her...now that was downright adding salt to the wound. So she seemed to have settled with sticking to the mothership with her depression. I figured it would last awhile...until she came back out and abruptly started taking charge.

I swear even I thought the commander was alive briefly at that moment with the way she did it.

Still though she i hurting quite badly...

Still in space meanwhile with all that debris and salvage the Pirate Princess seemed to have set up shop. Sadly though the entire solar system is still a bit hazardous makes jumping in a bitch so they tend to have to do outskirts and slowly creep along.

She seemed to help comfort Karamazov and offered her aid...she wasn't the only one though. A certain captain of a carrier also appeared. That one was legitimately morose and was much better at providing comfort.

Turned out she was kinda like Karamazov's mother and had some plans regarding a certain commander...

that was when after they got together cried their hearts out...for some reason though Karamazov was strangely happy.

That was when I did some closer scans(heh) turned out Kara was going to have a sibling...did not see that coming.

From what I later delved turned out that one had a thing for the Commander for some time and was finally having everything coming together...with Karamazov's aid and blessing no less.

Poor bastard didn't stand a chance. They were suppose to be a big happy family...heh funny how that turns out.

Don't tell her I said that though. I rather like have my wires and bits inside the body thank you.

So yes that is how it all turned out...until next time hm? Perhaps they flourish after this or not...maybe some day the sponsor will return.

Who can say?

Gladiator combat accepted...

Agreed to the job from your fellow clannar who then proceeded to escort you there...

You ended up on a warehouse district past some shifty looking guards before going through a door. there you saw a crude arena and bleachers on the sides of it. You were taken to one of the side rooms where you were asked some questions...the guy wasn't happy you were utterly clueless.

So he marked some stuff down and asked you how challenging you want it.

>Noob
>Easy
>Normal
>Hard
>Nightmare

Each determines your pay out along with reputation. Due to your being a player even if you die you still get paid IF you accept lethal combat.

Lethal obviously pays more. Thanks to the influx of player characters its really helped boost it even further.

Skills do indeed improve over time when you either use or train them.

Skills can range from a number of things.

In this game stuff may stack and there are synergy bonuses. Which makes a properly built character devastating if they know how to put it all together right.

>>34781521
not really. I found it amusing you wasted on manipulation its a tricky one to use properly.
>>
>>34781543
Oh, are you going to pull something where 'awareness' and 'a talent for noticing the hidden' are different?

Yeah, I don't know why I fell back onto manipulation. I realized it was weak as soon as I first posted it.

anyway what is the choice for stat changes hm? Thread is on the last page after all.
>>
Rolled 15 (1d100)

>>34781592
Nah...well there IS a difference you know?

One is more specialized hence stronger.
>>
>>34781271

These stat changes, but not manipulation as a talent. Instead, "A talent for noticing the hidden."
>>
Rolled 8 (1d100)

>>34781674
oh not again...
>>
>>34781700

I'll support that modification.

Fuck all these outages

>>
>>34781674

Well then I'll throw my vote to this >>34781700 so that we don't lose this boon before thread's end.

>>34781707

>>
>>34781908
Nobody liked my lucha build. But I'm down to spend some on cha, some on dodge, and some on dex
>>
Rolled 46 (1d100)

>>34781908
yes in addition to...fucking bonuses due to them occurring during creation thread. Wont nearly be so easy here on out.

and you chose manipulation for a talent of all things heheh.
>>
>>34781962
Manipulation?
>Fast learner: skills
>>
Rolled 60 (1d100)

>>34781985
it was one of the talents selected to be learned.
>>
Rolled 33 (1d100)

>>34782062
well taken correction.

still real bummer...I don't think /tg/ can properly handle manipulation talent.
>>
>>34782140
I'm a bit lost as to what's going on, but I'm doing my best to keep up.

I did inject like 7 marijuana's in my eyelids, so excuse my confusion, but I don't know what kind of skills I can select, nor do I know how many we have to pick or if there is anybody else here to confirm my choices.

If left to my own devices I will make a Canadian luchador named "Senior Generico"
>>
>>34782062

Really? I thought that list only got 2 votes. Also, you should really tell us when things aren't what we intend before we lock it in.

Would you post an updated stat list, since we locked in the mods?
>>
Rolled 85 (1d100)

>>34782288
hah in that case i stand corrected I'll check again.
>>
Rolled 86 (1d100)

>>34782288
>>34782330
Indeed seems like your correct.

IN which case you have 17 stat points to distribute.
