Before you realize it, you’re standing and emitting a girlish and high pitched squeal of utter delight. Before you is the latest volume of your favorite comic. They said their friends had been missing for weeks, so you’re running after a cold trail.

By the time you get home, none of the front lights or windows are lit on either floor. Dad’s car is in the driveway, so you can assume he’s home with Usa from the airport. Entering quietly, you find Luna, Diana, and Diana piled and curled together on the couch. Stepping upstairs, you notice one light on in the hallway.

It stretches out from under the doorway to your older sister’s room.

Approaching the door, you hear muffled humming coming from within. Taking gentle hold of the knob you knock lightly with your other hand.

“Are you sure you’re ready to do this, Keiko?” she asks you with uncertainty but rising excitement in her voice.

You nod, carefully, and give Midori’s hands a gentle and reassuring squeeze. In the dim lamplight of her room, the two of you sit on her bed closely. For years, Midori Mori has been your closest friend, and today she revealed to you how deep her own feelings run. Along with the other developments today, you accepted those feelings. Accepted her kiss.

“Is it wrong to want to rush in to try new things now that I’m free?” you ask her in a low voice.

“Okay...just...we just have to be quiet. Its super late now and I don’t want to risk waking my dad,” she admits.

So much of what you want to do right now could alter the course of your lives in negative ways. There could be so much stigma against you, ruining your reputation and Midori’s. There could be terrible consequence, but you must satisfy your curiosities. You must express in this moment your new freedom.

She squeezes your hand back, then lets go as you rise from the bed, walk a few steps across her small room, and turn to face her with a sway to your hips. The borrowed pajamas are a bit tight on you, but that shouldn’t matter much with your present intentions. Midori relaxes on the bed, despite her lingering nervousness in all the wonderful and terrible things you both experienced today, in eager anticipation. Hopefully you will end on another wonder, one that makes you feel so light.

It's interesting that Princess No is/was pretty much yet another mask Mikage put on to hide/shield herself during that year and a half, school most noticably, but seems like she had it on at home too, particularly judging from the mooncats' reactions to her talking to them again.

Heh, now lets look at things from Luna's perspective.

A girl she's helped care for, her charge's daughter, spends an entire year shunning her existence after throwing herself hard into the task of being Sailor Moon. Then she explodes back into action and interacts with her, warning the new Mercury of what could wait for her beyond the wand.

Then she gets knocked down by a bad guy, goes into labor on the verge of death, and then gets saved and fawned over by Mikage and Koyomi. Mikage acknowledging her and seemingly trying to get back into the life and she has a new kitten.

Then Mikage does a 180 on the past year, and throws herself back into the life with a denied passion, but clear will and intent. The girl who disappeared was back.

...then she witnesses her having violent dream convulsions and puke up black goo and a gold crystal.

Then she walks in on her all dolled up as Miki.

Luna has had a hard week.

I think that was the only disguise that would cause that particular response. Though I imagine Red Eyes could concern her, I don't think it would be the drinking response.

I remember at one point we were talking about setting her up as the intel relay to Artemis who would relay in turn to the Scouts. Maybe even get her using the arcade machine to deliver information like he used to do to her.
Also, talking to her about an items that might be able to help us, but then we got the whole Earth heir thing going and enemy attacks and other fun activities to distract us.

Also reminds me that we wanted to search out other things of the Earth Kingdom and try to secure them from the enemy.

Wikipedia lists Mamoru Chiba as 5 foot 9 inches tall.

Comparing the lines from bent joint to joint, in that image, Mamoru is three parts tall, Mikage is 2.5 parts tall.

69 divided by 3 is 23. 23 by 2.5 is 57.5.

Mikage is 4 feet 9 and 1/2 inches tall in that image.

If she's grown, lets assume one or two inches, and round things out to 4'10 or 4'11.
