Previously on Medieval Pokemon Quest

A 14 year old boy is sent on his pokemon journey with his trusty Turtwig, Teddy. Hunting in the the forest and checking out a lake nets him Carla, the Clauncher. We travel to Bluerock city and join up with a trading ship. Bunking with the wealthy Jesse, Barry learns to sail and trains his pokemon. Barry escorts Jesse to his ultra-rich uncle and learns of the civil war taking place in Hoenn. After a night at a mansion, the pair explores the jungle and gain new partners, a Bagon and Croagunk. They then walk through the botanical garden and return to the ship.

>Sword Fighting

The messer, while somewhat like the knife you carried your whole life, is much onger and heavier. You pair up with one of the crew and his Bisharp, then set to work learning the ways of the sword. Over a week, you learn the basic strikes and parries for cuts, thrusts, and chops. The movements start to ingrain themselves into your muscles, and you start to not die in your sparring matches. To your surprise, Jesse proves himself to be an expert knife-fighter, slipping through the blade pokemon's guard and into his rib cage.

You climb the crows nest one morning, ready and settled in for another day of boredom. At sometime after lunch, a sail is spotted by you off in the distance. A black flag flies over the mainstay, with a cubone skull and bones on the background in red. Reporting the ship and it's sign to the captain, causing him to go white.
"ARM UP MEN! WE'RE GONNA HAVE SOME PIRATES HERE!" the captain shouts out, and crew rushes to gear up

You have 30 minutes to prepare, what do you want to do in this time?

>Stay on deck

You climb quickly up to the crows nest, grabbing Bagon(name if you want), then swinging one-handed to the cabin. You burst into the room, seeing your roommate donning a leather and steel cuirass, and strapping on a trio of long daggers.

You rush to put a tunic over your sun brown skin, then buckle your armor in place. A few more seconds, and the messer hangs at your side once more. Teddy is given a drink of water, to harden his shell, and has the steel plate from the old nomad buckled on as well. Carla is lifted to a branch on the foremast, where her claw gun would be able to hit most areas on the deck. Bagon is jumps back up the mast, and stares down at the deck, waiting for someone to move near him. The rest of the crew is armored in steel and leather, wielding weapons ranging from swords to giant steel and wood clubs. Oddly, the Machokes are wielding the same weapons as men, and Captain Diamond's Machamp holds four massive warhammers.

The minutes tick by, spent watching the ship slip closer and closer. As the pirates draw in close, a flight of arrows are exchanged, but no visible damage is done to the pirates. One man sinks to the deck, a long ice spike sticking from his calf. The doctor rushes over from the cabins, his Chancey behind the short man.

Jesse and you stand in the overhang of the wheelhouse, sheltered from the storm. The pirate ship rushes to the side of the Painted Wailord and launches grapples over the side. Pirates climb the ropes, standing in a small circle of shields and steel

>Razor Leaf, Retreat

Worried at the icicle spike, and the pirates swarming over the ropes like Durants on a Donphan, you pull Jesse back into the corner of the wheelhouse. Running forward a few steps, you instruct Teddy to launch razor sharp leaves at the ropes and their occupants.

A stream of glowing green shoots from Teddy's sprout, spinning at the invaders. Multiple find their way to the faces and bare skin, cutting deep into flesh. Others slice at the rope, severing two and throwing the bleeding men into the water. A streak of blue and grey rockets head first into the mass of pirates, crashing down on a spearman, and shattering their formation. Sailors stream at them, beating and cutting into steel and flesh. Three pirates fall, clutching at shattered limbs from a kindly Machamp. Sprays of high pressure water blast the pirates' faces as they climb, making them fall to the choppy water filled with fins and gnashing teeth.

Carla and Bagon crawl and walk towards you, escape the thick of the battle. Now with your party together, you retreat into the dank hallway and the cabin. Resting for a short while, you hear a loud growling accompanied by a flash of icy blue light. You swivel as you hear the doors in the hall being banged open.

"Quick, get in the chest" you whisper to the black haired boy, pushing him towards the your locker.
"Barry, I can fight" the boy protests, even as you open the latch and lift him up and put him between your spare clothes and pack.
"Stay quiet, I got this. If I need your help, I'll call out" you shut the lid, turn and stand on the side of the door.

"Come out Jessie! We just wanna talk to ya. Ain't nothin' to worry about. A man will pay well for his daug-" the words are fractured by a loud smash and the door swing round to crash into the wall. A head pokes into the room, searching for Jesse.

Then you spin out from the doorway and face the man. Tall, burned brown by years under the sun, and a braided beard trails down his large frame. In one hand a nicked axe rests, while the second ends in a wooden claw clutching a buckler. You do the first thing that comes to mind, launching your messer forward at the broad target that makes up his torso. Slipping between the buckler and axe, the point slides along the dented breastplate, sinking home in his side.

The tan man retreats clutching at his side. You slip back to the wall, and hear him shout a command to an unseen pokemon. The pokemon releases a stream of bubbles through the door, which pop and throw you to the corner

The rival pokemon slowly pushed in the door, reaching out with a blue and white webbed hand. A triangular head pokes in searching the room, only to get an eye full
of webbing. Jesse has climbed out of his hiding spot and has Croagunk and Joltik in front of him, along with a dagger in each hand. A second later, the blue pokemon rears back, clutching at it's face.

You draw back, sliding together with your team to cover Jesse, and quietly rush some commands to the pokemon. The door crashes open once more, giving you a view of man and pokemon. The blue frog-like pokemon stands upright, one eye steaming and smelling of roast meat. The man roars out a command, scaring all you pokemon, while the the lithe pokemon bounds forward at Teddy.

"NOW! Teddy, aim for the face!" you belt out, before rolling to the side. Teddy releases a storm of leaves, just as the blue pokemon's scarf whips around and smacks Teddy. Both creatures fall backwards, the rival with sharp leaves sticking from it's torso and face
>Teddy at 50/67 HP
>Greninja at 73/95

The lull in combat sends your pokemon into overdrive, rushing the creature and it's master. Carla sprays a stream at the man, filling his mouth and blinding him with sea water. Bagon takes this opportunity to bite down on the blue pokemon's limbs. Croagunk runs up at the creature and releases a stream of mud and water from his gullet, striking it in the remaining eye.

ROLLED 96

"Teddy, absorb on the blue one!" you shout, then turn back to the sputtering man with an axe. With Carla spouting off water into his face, you advance on the man. Through the haze of salt he must have seen you, for he raises his axe and shield. Spinning the messer in an overhead strike, you batter down his axe hand with a cut to the wrist, then swing it around, lobbing off a portion of his head and ear.
>Man at 74/113 HP

A blur of shining light catches your eye, streaking through the air to land in the pirate's midsection. The pirate rips the dagger from his stomach, flinging the blade back into the hallway.
>Man at 61/113 HP

You close once more after a well timed blast of water at the hole in the man's side by Carla. Stabbing upwards through the man's guard, you feel the blade stick in the bone of his shoulder. Pulling left and down, your blade sparks on the breastplate and sinks back into his flesh near the hip.
>36/113

The man raises up his axe, chopping across in an attempt to gut you. Thankfully, the reenforced leather does it's job, holding the blade at bay. It does nothing for the force though, as your breath is knocked out of you and you feel your ribs flex from the blow. In retaliation, you punch forward with your off hand, driving bone and sinew into the hole left by Jesse's dagger. The man stumbles, giving you the chance to slip your dagger under the breastplate, into his heart and lungs

You look over from your struggle to see the pokemon savagely attacking the blue pokemon. As you recover from the fight, Brandt rams his head into the knee of the of the pokemon, forcing it to the ground. Teddy, leaking sap and blood stands on the chest of the monster and closes his eyes. A green glow fills the dim wooden room, as the life drains from the crippled pokemon. The life steals from the pokemon as turtwig absorbs it's energy, his wounds closing. As the last of the energy drains away, Teddy begins to glow with a stunning white light that blinds you. As the light fades, you see Teddy triple in size and bushes sprout from his new shell.

>Check on Jesse

Seeing how the two of you just killed a man, you go to check on Jesse. However, you first strip off the blood soaked armor and tunic. Looking back over to the pale boy, you see him petting Joltik while lounging against the wall with Croagunk. You notice his gaze doesn't stray to the bodies. Sitting down by his side, you lean back and close your eyes, feeling Teddy rest his now larger head in your lap.
"Thanks for stopping him" the pale boy whispers, still intent on the small electric spider.
"It's okay, it's not like I was gonna let him hurt anyone" you say, before stopping as Jessie leans over and kisses your cheek.
"Thanks anyways"
The two of you stay leaning against the walk, ignoring the bodies, congratulating the pokemon for their bravery and strength. It ends when the captain sticks his head through the door.

"There you are son, ya had me worried bout ya." the captain's eyes stray to the floor, settling on the body of the man you killed. "Well sonny, looks like you get the rights. I'll be willing to sail the ship, fer a small commission of course"

Confused, you question the captain, learning that as the killer of the pirate captain, you are awarded his ship along with a small reward.

>>
>>34542337
With timeskip: learn to fight, learn to sail, raise pokemon, grow up, start age 16 or 17, story moves on without you
Without: Continue where we are, see what unfolds.

Think of the movie Click, but less depressing. We spend a few years getting learned while world events unfold, or we are in the midst of it(or not, we can hide in a corner)
>>
>>34542423
Hmm, I personally vote for no time-skip, seems like too much happens in between.
That said, if you're feeling uninspired about the events that would transpire during it then it's probs best to go with time-skip, uninterested writing is uninteresting
>>
>>34542423
In that case no timeskip

Now the proud owner of a small two masted brig(valued at $15000), you spend all your extra time in the company of the vessel's temporary captian, first mate Eion Colpher. The man, a well seasoned sailor in his own right, was at home behind the wheel of the brig. Over two weeks, Eion is able to teach you more of the sailor's art. You learn the different sails and masts, along with the ropes that control them on your little vessel. Little compared to the Painted Wailord, the brig(feel free to name it) is 130 feet long, with a small set of cabins. He also teaches you the ropes for navigation, leading you to spend hours in the crow's nest staring at the amazing orbs of light burning in the sky. One night you convince Jessie to come with you, spending the whole night gazing up together. As the two of you wonder at the stars, a thought creeps across your mind. The man, the pirate captain, said that a man will pay well for his daughter. Voicing your question to Jessie, you roll to your side to see her laughing.
"I've been dressing this way for my whole life. My father always tried to get his 'little lady' to wear stupid frilly dresses. These are a lot more comfortable." the girl gestures down at her tunic and leggings. "Besides, how are you so dense to not figure out I'm a girl?" with that, the boy who was Jesse dissolved into high clear giggles that resound into the night.

Landing back at Bluerock city, Captain Diamond hands you $75, your pay with the captain's fee taken out of it. Jessie hangs nearby, reading in the sunlight. Captain Diamond also says that if you go to the Baron, you will get a reward for the slaying of the pirate.

>Go to the Baron, Bring Jessie

Gearing up in the newly washed and repaired armor and a fresh tunic you prepare to leave, but stop and ask Jessie if she wants to come. Putting down her book, you turn while she changes into a fresh set of clothes. Finished with preparations, the two of you head out. With a troop of pokemon following, you weave through the crowds into the upper class residential streets. Free of the oppressive crowds, you walk together up the hill to the Baron's castle. Jessie is much less red in the face, seems like running around with you did her some good. Stopped at the gates by another guardsman, you produce a slip of paper and hand it to the guard nonchalantly. The guard goes through the motions of unrolling the parchment and looking over the words, but a bird can always spot one of his kind. The illiterate guard hands back the parchment, nodding his head. Faker.

Once past the guard, you enter the court and walk to the line of people wishing an audience with the baron. An hour spent playing with your pokemon, and you reach the end of the line. Pulling yourself up to your full height of 5'3, you stride up to the ruler of the city and hand him the parchment. Able to read it, the ruler of the city nods along then congratulates and thanks you for the killing of the pirate. By all laws of gods and men, you are entitled to blah blah blah. After the old man rambling on about "civic duty" and "upstanding young man", he calls over a skinny bald man, who hands you a sack of coin and a strip of parchment. Scratched out on the bottom is the sum($750) and a blue wax seal. Bowing to the lord, you and Jessie leave the castle.

But wasn't she surprisingly good at fighting?

Iunno. I reckon we check out potential kit upgrades for ourselves first and if we have enough buy her a rapier, though with our new cohort of pokemon we might need it all to equip them.

On that note, I presume Grotle no longer fits the armour he had, outta sell and replace it

What kinda clothes do we have at the moment? We might consider getting some formal attire if we're going to ask Jessie's father for her hand in marriage

Arms and Armor

The flood of cash you have, more than all you've seen in your young life, makes you want to increase you protection. Grabbing Jessie, you drag her into a large weapons shop. Croagunk mimics you with Brandt

Knives
>Steelix Seax
>Skarmany Wing Dirk
>Bisharp Parrying Dagger
Swords
>Durant Gladius
>Aggron Grosse Messer
>Skarmany Falchion
>Steelix Sabre
>Steelix Cutlass
Blunt or Chopping Weapons
>Bisharp Axe
>Geodude Mace
>Rhydon Warhammer
>Aggron War Pick
Ranged weapons
>Gogoat Recurve bow
>Trevenant Crossbow
>Scrafty Skin Sling
Shield
>Aegislash Shield
>Shieldon Shield(buckler)
>Bastiodon Shield(Tower)

>Armor
Helms
>Aron Helmet
>Cranidos Helmet
>Steelix Helmet
Torso
>Aggron Chest Plate
>Bronzor Chest Piece
>Empoleon Crest Breastplate
>Tyrunt Leather Armor
>Tyrunt and Aron Leather/Steel Armor

Not pricing all of these, choose which ones you like and I'll set a price. Each pokemon imbues their parts with power.
>>
>>34545781
Lots of options, few indications on the benefits. Can we get an explanation on what the associated pokemon do for the equipment?
>>
>>34545781
any pokemon arms and armor in the shop? I assume at least Teddy needs a new plate after his evolve
>Knife
leaning towards Steelix, maybe Skarmany
>Sword
Messer or Cutlass
>Shield
Aegislash
>Torso
Empoleon seems nice, but the Tyrunt/Aron combo sounds sweet
>>
>>34545781
Quick question, how does our current messer compare to any of the store weapons? Is it basically upgrade regardless or is the steelix messer fractionally better? Etc
>>
>>34546094
Either way I'm thinking Aron helm and the tyrunt/Aron body armour would do us nicely. Currently leaning towards the cutlass since we own a pirate ship
>>
>>34545996
yeah, near the back. Takes a long time for me to write out this, figured i would split it up. Working on armor for the pokemon at the moment.

>>34545991
Each pokemon has a given bonus
>Steelix: Dense steel that can cut through cheap iron
>Skarmany: Lighter than it should be, yet still as strong as good steel
>Bisharp: Great for cutting and stabbing weapons, they hold a edge for life. Also well known for penetrating very well
>Durant: Cheapest of the Poke-metals, is slightly better than steel
>Aggron: Rock solid steel, can break and bend lesser metals. Equal to Steelix
>Rhydon: Stone, slightly harder than even Aggron
>Geodude: Made from Geo-cores, super dense stone. Wrapped in metal and you have a good beating stick
>Gogoat: All arrows seem to fly farther, and faster, imbued with the speed of the pokemon
>Trevenant: Arrows shot from this wood seem to twist slightly in the air, seeking weak points. Still needs to be aimed, a headshot might turn into an eyeshot.
>Scrafty: Leather lasts unusually long, and holds true. Projectiles often fall on cheap spots, like the groin or joints
>Aegislash: floats on the wearer's arm, letting them move it more quickly than normal
>Shield/Bastiodon: Nearly unbreakable shield, stop arrows and blows dead
>Cranidos: Rock helmet, stops large amounts of force that his the head. Complete with fancy spikes
>Bronzor: much like Aegislash, floats on the wearer.
>Empoleon: Strangely light in water, floats in fact. Wearers seem to slice through the water
>Tyrunt: Scaley leather, some of the best skin armor, second to it's evolved form
>>
>>34546094
think "cheap pig iron, unfit for anything but feeding Aron" compared to master work katana folded a thousand times. Both can kill, this shop kills better
>>
>>34546407
Does Aron give a bonus then or is it kinda just the baseline?
>>
>>34546471
slight, not as good Aggron, but better than normal.
>>
>>34546407
>Empoleon: Strangely light in water, floats in fact. Wearers seem to slice through the water
This seems like a must if we're going to be on a boat.
>>
>>34546407
lets go
>Bisharp knife
>Empoleon plate
>Tyrunt leather
>Aegislash shield
can't deside between Steelix Cutlass and Aggron Messier
>>
>>34546407
Knives
>Bisharp Parrying Dagger

Knives are meant to pierce especialy if your throwing it
.Swords
>Skarmany Falchion
Light but good steel Not to mention were still a kid so we shouldn't use something to heavy.

Ranged weapons
>Gogoat Recurve bow
Good for sniping
Helms
>Cranidos Helmet
seems like the best helmet.

Torso
>Empoleon Crest Breastplate

the best type of armor for a budding ship captain.
Shield
>Aegislash Shield
A shield thats quick to move can save your life.
>>
>>34546509
Same with the cutlass. I guess aegislash seems the most obvious shield to compliment that. Helmet, I still figure Aron should do
>>
>>34546593
i like it, how about Aggron Messer. Pairs well with the Bisharp knife so whatever we can't penetrate we can just smash
>>34546625
isn't our current bow a gogoat recurve?
>>
>>34546680
Skiddo, much worse, no better than a normal bow.
>>
>>34546593
Wait, aren't the torsos mutually exclusive? As in we can't tyrunt and empoleon
>>
>>34546593
>>34546676
can we wear the tyrunt leather under the empoleon plate? kinda want to go steelix but honestly the cutlass, messer, and falchion all sound great
>>34546625
aron helm sounds better then strapping rock to our head
>>
How good of a swimmer are we to begin with?
>>
>Bisharp Knife
>Gogoat Bow
>Aegislash Shield
>Aron Helm
if we can do leather under the plate then
>Tyrunt Leather and Empoleon Plate
Cutlass sounds better for sailing, but a light Falchion might save our life
>>34546744
i see, adding that then
>>
>>34546782
They have a reduced price, as you can get the Breastplate, which covers the ribcage and shoulders, while Tyrunt leather around the midsection, protecting the stomach and thighs. $120(both would cost $250). let me find a pic
>>
>>34546870
Okay lets try this again then
>Bisharp Parrying Dagger
>Skarmany Falchion
>Gogoat Recurve bow
>Aegislash Shield
>Aron Helm
>Tyrunt Leather and Empoleon Plate

>>
>>34546870
can we sell/trade in our older stuff for any discount? maybe for some pokemon armor
>>
>>34546870
Can we wear Tyrunt and Aron Leather/Steel Armor with empoleon breastplate?
>>
>>34547034
i think the empoleon would replace the Aron parts, plus that'd make us super heavy with all that metal. Empoleon at least floats
>>
>>34546923
I'm still reckoning we go with the steelix or aggron swords, ambivalent about which though. Wanna be able to crush through inferior steel
>>
>>34547034
no, the aron is in the spots the empoleon armor covers. Empoleon/Tyrunt is possible because it makes a full suit
>>
>>34547059
Figured we might get some Aron gauntlets and boots or something
>>
>>34547105
Were 12 yrs old and were already complete armor we really shouldn't carry things that are probably heavy or we'll be slow.
>>
>>34547190
better to learn how to use it young and get better over time. Falchion might help short term but an Aggron sword in the hands of a trained young man is deadly
>>
>>34547190
14 actually. I think we're 5'3'' but that might he bull. On phone and cba to scroll up and check
>>
okay, seems clear that popular choice are
>Bisharp Parrying Dagger
>Gogoat Recurve bow
>Aegislash Shield
>Aron Helm
>Tyrunt Leather and Empoleon Plate
So which sword do we want?
>Messer- solid steel, breaks metal
>Falchion- light and good steel
>Cutlass- cuts through iron, dense
>>
>>34546999
charmander obviously

Got a pic for armor. Empoleon/Tyrunt locked in?

The Empoleon/Tyrunt armor stands out most, playing to all boy's one true love; looking cool. A dark black, the steel forming the breastplate has a golden trident splayed on the chest, entrapping the false muscles. A red leather hangs from the bottom and shoulders, forming skirt of scaled strips reinforced by more jet black steel. Yet more leather cascades from the shoulders, forming two spiked paulrons and a short cape, reaching the small of your back.

>Tyrunt Leather and Empoleon Plate

After hearing the powers each weapon and armor has, you grab a few of the items from the racks, before walking to the counter to get fitted for the emporeon armor. Newly outfitted in the steel and leather, you purchase the armor and weapons. The arms and armor score a major hit to your coin sack, leaving only 160 gold pieces left. The man is more than willing to take your old armor, saying the leather will be a good chew toy for his Arcanine. You strap you new grosse messer on, feeling an abnormal weight pulling at your side. This will take some getting used to. Thankfully, the Bisharp dagger helps to balance out the sword. Slinging the floating shield onto your back along with the quiver and unstrung bow, then donning the Aron Helm and lift the visor. Jessie grabs a few assorted daggers, placing a handful of gold on the counter. Fitting the blades to her belt, you count six arrayed on her waist and another slid inside her boot.

Fully outfitted, you look towards the poke-armor section, before turning away. All to expensive at the moment. Your little group of humans and pokemon walk out of the store, and decide to...

Posing the question of what she wishes to do tonight, you are helpless as Jessie grabs your arm and pulls you along. She leads you through a series of streets, back allies, and through a few gates, ending upon the red tile roof of a massive mansion and garden. Sliding down the shingles, Jessie falls off the roof

directly onto a small balcony. Whispering up at you, she manages call you a coward and goad you into jumping off a building. Landing softly on the railing, you look back up at the collection of pokemon that followed you. All but Teddy are able to jump into your arms, causing you to need help from Jessie and her Joltik. A large web is sprayed a few feet above the floor, ready to catch anything.

A loud crash and one shy Grotle later, you and your pokemon have arrived at Jessie's house. A serving woman pops in, searching for the source of the noise. Seeing the heavily armed and armored pair, she pulled out quickly. Seems like her mistress is home. A few minutes, and some hasty introductions, you are led into the dining hall.

A stern man with dark black hair stared down at you, holding the hand of a woman that shares Jessie's eyes.
>What to say?

If you don't end this quest with the words nice boat, you're a terrible person.

Let's also try our best to not insinuate that we're boning their daughter. We saved her life.
>>
"Pleased to meet you Mr. Korda. Lovely house you have here" you start off, breaking the silence that envelopes the room
"Thank you, Barry. I'm sure it is much different from what you are used to. You are a nomad, yes? I've heard you're accent before" the old man replies, lifting a chunk of Miltank to his mouth.
"Yes sir, I am a nomad. However, I am a sailor by trade. You should see my ship, the Garrulous Grotle. She's but a two masted brig, but holds water well."
"And how did you come about this prize? I have heard talk of a pirate slayer." never looking away from your face, he cuts off another piece of steak.
"It seems my exploits precede me" lord Arceus, this is slow, "I despatched the pirate captain and his pokemon, with the help of your daughter.
"Yes, very good that you kept her safe. Did anything else happen on your trip. I have heard that the two of you shared a cabin" Shit
>wat say
>>
>>34549040
"I helped her catch another pokemon!"

Motion to her Croagunk.
>>
>>34549040
"Well, the rest of the voyage has been comparatively uneventful, sir, I've been working hard to brush up my seamanship, and begging your pardon, sir, that was by suggestion of the Captain of the Painted Whale that we share a cabin, sir, and I think it was a jolly good decision too, sir, it put in the perfect place to make sure nothing untoward happened to your daughter. Sir."
>>
>>34549154
*put me in
>>
>>34549154
I'd say the best response to his insinuations is complete and utter ignorance.

If we have no idea that he's even talking about sex, he'll likely believe we haven't done it with his daughter.
>>
>>34549214
I agree, I just felt like typing that rambling excuse up

Could also mention that you sparred whilst travelling and that you admire Jessie's skill with a dagger
>>
>>34549083
I like this one. Nice to see the thread's still active.
>>
"Well sir, as you can see your daughter has another pokemon. We were in the jungles on Solitary Island, when she fell into a stream. Croagunk was there and started following her. Brandt also joined us in the jungle, he's the Bagon." completely innocent, nothing to worry about here.
"Well, the rest of the voyage has been comparatively uneventful, sir, I've been working hard to brush up my seamanship, and begging your pardon, sir, that was by suggestion of the Captain of the Painted Whale that we share a cabin, sir, and I think it was a jolly good decision too, sir, it put me in the perfect position"
"Mmhm" son of a bitch.
"to make sure nothing untoward happened to your daughter. Sir. And to tell you the truth, I did not realize that your daughter until after the battle with the pirates" safe, that should get him off your back.
"Yes, my wife and I are well aware of our daughter's habits. Please pass on our thanks to Captain Diamond, he is an old family friend.

The rest of the meal passes in small talk and you and Jessie telling your story. Is there anything you wish to say to them before leaving?
>Wat do
>>
>>34549454
We could ask him about the Hoenn war that's broken out, see if he has anything interesting to say about it.

We can also offer them our services for future jobs they may have

Lastly, I guess we ask what Jessie intends to do now? Would she like to join us on our Quest to Rule the Waves! ventures?
>>
>>34549454
"It was an honour, sir."
And asuming we leave Jesse here:
"I hope we meet again." followed by a hug

The dinner over, Mr. Korda escorts you to the door. Much to his displeasure, Jessie follows and leads the way to the exit. Turning to face them, you shake hands with Mr. Korda and wish him well. Looking over at Jessie, you grasp her hand, raising it to your lips. Somewhat startled, Jessie "eep"s and holds her hand over her mouth.

"I would like it if your family came down to the docks, sir. I'm sure that you would enjoy a short cruise." you say, then let yourself out. Jessie's hand lowers as you look back, the corners of her mouth still curled upwards.

>The next day
You wake to the sound of the main cargo hold being filled, rum and sugar cane headed up north. Looking out the window, you are surprised to see Jessie and her father.

"Nice boat, my boy" the black haired gentleman shouts up at you.
