Ever since the release of the Virtual Reality Game - Viritia, it became a huge breakthrough to the history of gaming especially to the life of many players who wants to experience a virtually fabricated environment where all of their dreams and fantasies could come true.

A virtual environment where you can do things you can’t do in real life like visiting and relaxing on beautiful places that only exist on the said VR game.

A virtual environment where you can experience special effects that you can only see in movies and games like using magic.

A virtual environment where you can create your own spanning empires or just be a wandering adventurer.

A virtual environment where you can enjoy hanging out with your friends.

A virtual environment where you can experience fighting and killing monsters…

However, all of that is meaningless to you, for there is only one goal within your mind. You will abuse this game to the limits whilst earning the most cash you can for your ailing mother, no matter the cost.

You were just your ordinary everyday highschooler with a “mild” penchant for video games.
Then came the accident where your mother (your only carer) was turned into a sack of irresponsive doll kept alive by modern cybernetics.
To make it worse, you were now tasked with a huge monthly bill to pay the hospital bastards. Most people would have given up around than however you were never one for giving up.

You have just recently set out on a fetch quest and won an near impossible fight against a party of red (murderer mark) players to save a random NPC noble girl…only to find out that the red players were the friends of the noble girl.

Currently said girl was holding an ornate dagger at your throat while giving you a death glare.

hope I did the "looks like a girl" look right. Not a drawfag so somewhat limited in ability. Also hope I did the angry grill look right

Well at least you will admit whoever coded this girl held back nothing in the looks department, the girl had a cute face with a bright blonde crown of long hair. However any good looks were ruined by her facial expression which would make any man fear for his “son” for it was a scowl that would even make the gods retreat.

“I will repeat only once, who are you and what have you done with my friends?" she whispers whilst digging the dagger at your throat a bit deeper.

Well it’s not you will die even if her blade digs into your neck as player characters are basically imbalanced bastards that won’t die unless their hp drops to zero or their head was separate from their head or something.

You reply that
>(truth) You killed her friends because they were red players and you wanted their loot. You also saved her in hopes for a reward.
>(half-truth) You killed her friends because they were murderers and to save her
>(lie) You were just walking and found her sleeping alone

You decide that its best to play it safe and tell her a half-"truth". It's not a lie... You just hope you don't do anything stupid enough that makes her realise your lie.

You push her knife away from your throat easily as you answer
"I will admit I did kill them." The knife stabs towards your throat however you easily catch her hand as you continue.
"HOWEVER, I only did it because I did not realise they were your friends. Did you realise they were murderers who are red-marked? I was just trying to save you..." you calmly state whilst casually glossing over the fact that you were only attempting to save her in hopes of a reward.

She glares at you as you answer this whilst growling
"So what you're saying is that you are not only an murderer but an idiot too. You do understand that you have to take responsibility for this right?" she calls out arrogantly as

Young Nobles Debt
Rank: A-
The minor noble Marinda of house Almarrion has "requested" (read: forced) you to pay back your "debt" by finding all 4 of her friends with her. Quest will complete when all her friends are found. Do note that she currently believes that you killed them because you thought they were kidnapping her. Equipment and other items of the red players will be expected to be given back to them when you meet them. Note that players may or may not attack you due to previous engagements.
Reward: Nothing
Time limit: Until the noble dies or drops the request

You're about to click the decline for this quest when you suddenly realise... you can't. The decline is greyed out and you have no choice in this matter. You swear at the coders railroading as you realise you just got stuck with an escort quest with no reward. You think that maybe you should've knocked her out after all as you sigh.

>NPC Exploring adventurer Marinda has joined your party

Well best to make the most of this you guess, at least you got a good usable meat shield if anything goes wrong.

"So...any ideas on how I'm meant to find these friends of yours?" you ask in the vain hope that they would be nearby so that you can dump her and get back to your fetch quest however...
"I know it's this way. The rest is your job. You owe me after all" she answers in curt phrases with barely a glance towards you as she randomly starts walking the way opposite to the mountain.

A system prompt quickly pops up,
>As you are part of an escort quest, do note that you cannot stay more than 20 metres away from your target
Sigh...

"Wait!" you call out however the girl barely notices you and just keeps briskly walking on.
With no other option, you decide that now its time to show off all the "masterful" knowledge you have of socialisation... Okay nevermind, its time to show of all the masterful knowledge you have with dealinng with NPCs in other games.

At times like these its best to simply lie, you've already lied a bit so might as well keep going.
"Actually, I think your friends are this way" You point towards the mountains with your thumb whilst keeping a monotonous expression.

She gives you a glare before she keeps walking the way shes going.
"Didn't I just say its this way?" You call out to her whilst attempting to keep calm however she simply grins with a snarl (yes her grin was a fucking snarl) as she answers.

"Are you trying to imply I'm wrong?" Wonderful, she's a fucking stuck up bitch (even if she is probably right). Guessing that you should probably change tactics you state that

"I'm currently already on a quest, I cannot afford to waste ti-" your voice is cut off by the dagger like scowl she shows you as she answers with cold anger
"You killed my friends. Do you know how hurt I am? You think taking responsibility is a joke? A waste of time?" Her voice slowly grows louder as she stalks towards you dagger in hand. You decide that it might be best to change tactics. She's a noble right? Maybe she would understand if she knew it was a quest from the lady.
"I'm on a quest for the lady currently, you're a noble right, you should understand her displeasure if I were to not finish this quest. I mean I'm no use to you if I'm in jail or dead or something" You quickly say as you do your best to bullshit your way through.

She stops and with what you think might actually be thought, she contemplates for a moment before agreeing "just this once". You get the feeling that whatever favour or other relationship this game uses with NPCs, you probably lost any last of it with her just than.

Christ, I JUST left. The fuck are you guys doing?

I'm pretty sure all the points on the player side were well discussed, so I won't rant. I'd like to say I'm surprised, but I've seen terrible decisions made before. I even made one of them.

On >>34489455 YOU though.

We don't have whip mastery or special moves involving whips, and we certainly don't have the prior experience to do a GET OVER HERE.
Wraith Dust to the face was good.
Having enough strength to raise a fallen warrior guy as a meatshield fast enough was not.
The problem with the pragmatic fighting, ie. the eye gouging and choking part, is that:
>We have not done it before
>it freaks people out, which you did.
>it freaks the USER out, and we have no prior justification that MC has a background where he is comfortable doing this.
Any reasons of this being a VRMMO making it easier can also be reversed for the red players freaking out. If salvaging wolves made this easier, the red players should have seen their fair share of blood and gore as well.

I get that we may have been lucky on many fronts and the red players were low level enough to not have considered some of the more realistic implications of combat, but being able to do all that without hesitation makes MC here far more similar to Miss ex-GM than expected.

So basically: don't bend over backwards to make "impossible" fights winnable. Aside from that, it's fine, even though the actual cost of winning is that MC is a disturbed individual.

>>34491323
>check party screen to see any skills/stats we have not seen before on girl
>Probe her for her interests. Point out flowers, herbs, monster weakpoints, processing food, talk about magic, basically see how "adventurer" she is. (And try to learn from her, but that comes later.)
>>
>>34491432
You decide that you may as well spend the day getting to know your scowling companion... jeez its like glares and scowls are the only faces she knows. Jeez, her sleeping face was actually pretty cute, how the hell did she even manage to screw that up with her scowl you will never know.
Along the way you chat about various random things... and by chat you mean talking to her whilst she gives you no reply besides a glare or a one word answer at best. How the hell can this girl even hate you so much... It's not even like you killed her friends permanently or anything.

sigh...

One day she seems to have run out of her own food as she tries her best not to keep glancing towards your bread and water. You're pretty limited in bread and water however you guess that she can have some? After feeding the angry female dog some, she states imperiously
"I'll answer any one question truthfully as payment, have to repay all debts after all" before adding under her breath "Responsibility is like that... not that you understand". Great, even when she's eating your food, she hates you.

You decide to use this chance to ask about

You decide that with this "once in a lifetime" (okay not really) chance, you may as well find out a bit more about her friends.
"...I mean, how does a noble girl like you even become friends with mur-"
You ask before the glare stops you as you correct yourself "good adventurers like them?"
"And how exactly is that any of your business?" She scowls as with a sigh she begins explaining.
>She was a minor noble's daughter and was getting tired of noble life. She had seen adventuring heros as a child and had wanted to become one.
What is she? A freaking child or something? It's like those kids who watch super hero shows and than want to become a superhero.
>She was lucky
>She befriended some traveling adventurers whilst out
>They were really nice, Nicholas was cool, Jack was funny, Sam was wise and Quinn was quite knowledgeable
You get a feeling that her view might be "slightly" biased and slanted
>She decided to ditch her noble life and travel with them. They declined but she convinced them by "force of her dazzling personality"
orly
>Her father sent adventurers to get her back from the "kidnapping by evil bastards"
>The end

You get a feeling there might be alot more to the story however it seems that she is no longer willing to say anything.

It seems that you were lucky that this area of plains had various plants to pick, whilst there were no plants that were "special" or "rare", you did manage to pick plenty of plants
>+alot of herblore plants (enough to regain about 40hp, although you're going to need to spam click alot)
Enough that you even managed to gain two levels and a bit in your skill levels

Beneficial Herblore health/mana regen (beginner level 3 25%): You are talented so you gain exp significantly faster among other benefits. You can identify (to a moderate success) plants that are useful for health and mana regen. You can also apply the herbs to yourself effectively (120%). You do not know how to turn the plants into potions.

Beneficial Herblore status help (beginner level 3 5%): You can identify (to a moderate success) plants that are useful for status help (e.g. blind/stun/etc.). You can also apply the herbs to yourself moderately effectively (70%). You do not know how to turn the plants into potions.

Well...at least that's what you thought before you were glared half to death by her. She also refuses your "help" as she's already learned everything she needs (supposedly) from her friends.

You sleep quite well throughout the night, this time around there was no stupid red players around to ruin your sleep. Your deep sleep goes uninterrupted even when a girl stands before you, even when she holds a blade at your throat...

Marinda glares at the sleeping form of the one who hurt her friends. Cold rage rushes though her body as she contemplates the act of murder. She had plenty of reason enough however Marinda was held back by one key fact. It was that she love him... okay just messing with you, she was held back by pragmatism. This man before her was an adventurer, whilst she loved her friends dearly, the fact that this man may be all that stands between herself and her father, between her dreams and her past keep her from stabbing down the blade. She sighs as she takes out her anger by repeatedly kicking the stone before her acting as if it was the man's head. After awhile, she goes back to her blankets to sleep

You awaken with a yawn as a new day begins, you feel well-rested after a long deep sleep of uninterrupted sleep. You glance to your side noting that the girl is still asleep. Guess you'll let her sleep a bit more as you eat. After eating, you note that the girl is still asleep so you spend some time making a mortar and pestle out of an empty bottle and a nearby stick creating an awes-

You decide that since she's in your party, you might as well learn to fight with her against enemies. You of course understand that with her current level and stats that she would be mostly leeching of you however if leveling and gaining exp a bit slower is the cost to get this girl to actually not glare at you all the time and to gain a potential meatshield... that's what you will do.

"Alright, you wanted to be an adventurer right? You ready for some monster hunting?" You ask with mock indifference as if you don't from the sparkles and glint in her eyes what she thinks about the topic.
"I-I might be interested, just a b-bit" she answers in an amazingly cute voice which is ruined by her scowl she quickly does afterwards.
"Alright but remember to follow my 'expertise' and that have to follow all my orders" you command as she simply nods.

Looks like you may have found out the way to control this bitc-angry female dog. With a sigh, you begin hunting the nearby wild dogs and wolves (damnit, does this game only have dogs and wolves or something? What happened to the whole massive mmo world?).

The results were well...

The first few fights can be summarized easily by one word... hard.

Whilst the dogs were less than 1/3 your level and wolves half your level, the fact that you constantly had to protect the noble girl (along with attempting to let her kill it so she gets exp) meant the fights would always be significantly longer than what would normally take. Throughout the fight her upturned eyes filled with glares slowly changed expression to what you can only presume is fear. Weird. Is the girl scared of fighting or something? Even when she want to be an adventurer?

By the end of the first day, your exp have risen only slightly whilst hers was near

After the fight, you discovered an amazing discovery that will shock MANKIND... turns out that even girls who never stopped glaring with hatred can not only light a fire and cook but also is willing to share it with you. (imagine "I-i'm not doing this f-for y-your sake or anything")
You're quite suprised by this however you were never one to argue. The taste of the wild dog and wolf meat whilst not being as good as it could be, was much more succulent and delicious than the plain and dry bread.
>You have gained some wolf meat which will rot soon if not smoked

Also, it seems that the fight whilst hard was quite helpful in helping the girl gain two levels (you expected more however it seems that NPCs level not just slower but SIGNIFICANTLY slower than player characters), at least her stats also increased a bit.
She has gained
+2 levels
+fear stat: currently -1 (you wonder why she had gotten this, surely she must've hunted with her friends before right?)
+Dependence: 1 (Seems even leeching exp gives you exp)
+Skills which you cannot view (she seems happy at her skills although she won't answer when you ask what got improved)

In items
+Wolf bits
+Cooked wolf meat as mentioned above

The day ends with the two of you chatting about the formations that you two would use when fighting (which is basically you letting her attack whilst you act as a meatshield guard).

It seems that talking about adventuring has helped loosen her tongue... if only it could stop her from scowling at you... Although you do seem to notice that occasionally when you grow irritated at her that she stops scowling.

Either the girl learned some damn manners or maybe she's in love with you? Maybe its your *late* springtime of youth? With a sigh, you bid both your delusions and the actual person goodnight as you fall asleep.

Its a new day, once again you spend the day both travelling and fighting. This time around you manage to meet various deer (level 4) and even a bear (level 7). The fights were all pretty easy this time around as it seems your teamwork has improved

It seems that after the fight, you have finally gained another level and reached level 10. A system prompt pops up congratulating you as following

>Congratz~ on level 10, yay~, it is recommended you useless piece of shit that you get a profession soon if you havn't already unless you wish to die <3
>You cannot fall below level 10
>We hope that the extra 10 points from level 1-10 are enough that any of your fuckups will still allow you to choose the profession you want. From now on you will only receive 1 point per level, be careful~

It seemed that the girl's stats and level has also increased however before you can check there is something to deal with.

After the fight, you discovered there was now a slight issue, the system message shows that

blah blah stat debuffs, sigh. The girl however seems fine as she had her own water bottle. Maybe you should ask her for some of her water to share? But than again, you may just owe her something again or it could cause all kinds of other problems. Looking around you at the corpses of the deer and bear, another thought comes to you. Maybe you can just quench your thirst on the blood of the deer and bear?

You decide that why bother going to the effort of ripping open the corpses to drink their blood when theres a cute girl who can provide it instead. After all it will be a "indirect kissu"... okay maybe that was slightly slightly weird.

With a smile you request the girl for some water as nicely as you can
"Ummm I'm out of water, can I have some of yours please?"

However you are immediately "shot down" by the girl as she refuses on the grounds that its "unsanitory"... damnit did she realise my "genius" plan?

With a sigh, you decide to quickly pack up the monster bits (whilst breaking about half your wolf fangs)
>+deer fur
>+Deer horns

as you begin searching for a nearby pond or something. However either luck or fate is against you as even through you search until it gets dark, no pond or other giver of the life-giving item known as water can be found.

Your movements start getting worse as you realise that you may be stuck with the dehydrated effect awhile. The girl looks to be about to offer you the water out of pity however you were never one for pity as you refuse her before she can even offer.

You go back to the corpses in the hope that some blood is still left however it seems that other animals have already scrounged around in it. With a sigh, you set up camp and fall asleep shortly afterwards whilst attempting to ignore the annoying system warning on your dehydration and your own thirst.

Day 4:
Its a new beautiful day, the sun is shining, the birds are singing and there's a crisp, yet gentle breeze causing the grass around you to sway... but all of that is ignored as only one thought is within your mind. You are fucking thirsty, fucking fucks.

You contemplate stealing the girls water however you quickly realise you're going to be stuck with her so better not risk it. Before anything else today, before training or anything like that, you will need to spend some time searching for a pond. Or maybe you should just accept the girl's pity? Or should you hunt and get some blood? In the horizon, you can see what appears to be a village. Maybe you can get there before your thirst damages you too far?

Marinda attempts to calm herself and her irritation when she notes the idiot is now attempting to chase butterflies. A few punches (and sore hands) later and the idiot is finally knocked out. Can't have the idiot getting himself hurt after all.

After a bit of rest Marinda realizes that effort is needed to succeed as an adventurer as she begins doing jumping jacks to train herself.

She constantly scowls towards the sky (possibly aiming it at the gods themselves) as she thinks on the level of both stupidity and fear she has to be stuck with because of the idiot.

A few hours of training (and a tired girl) later, the idiot finally reawakens with an exhausted face. Serves him right for drinking alcohol first thing in the morning. It is now late afternoon

-----------------------
You get up with a groan as you realise that the sun has nearly set. The orange glow bathes over you as you retch upon the ground... Okay, drinking alcohol was not a good idea. A bunch of system prompts show up however you wave them away as you're not in the mood to read anything.

After a bit of rest (and some harsh and irritated words, fuck that bitch, can't she see you're not in the mood), you and her begin once again treking towards the mountains. You avoid all combat and other activities as you are not in the mood. When the girl offers you her water this time around, you accept without a word

It is a new day and maybe this time around, everything will go ri-
You see what appears to be a player in the distance, he is carrying multiple bags and packs... he's also running for his life from a red bear.
A quick glance shows yo
>The player has 20/250 health left
>The red bear has 500/500 health left and its name is "*Blood-Red Bear, Lord of the Plains*, level 15"

You are still a distance away from the merchant, you could probably just leave him be and everything will be fine. No need to risk yourself.
Or you can try and save him in the hopes for a reward or the loot from killing the bear, it looks rare after all.
Looking to your side, you expect the noble girl to scream at you to go save him however she simply looks bored.

Do you (choose 1 as all takes precious time)
>Escape (It's the plains, best to just run away before they get near)

You see the girl attempt to shoot an arrow however it seemed that she clearly had no talent... after all she was holding it completely wrong. You're pretty sure that arrows are not meant to fly backwards however you ignore her as you begin focusing on the red bear in front of you.

Dragging the claymore along is somewhat heavy however you think you can probably manage it. Maybe you should've equipped it later you think for a second before once again focusing on the red bear.

The red bear has now caught up to "SaleBot202" and he's within arm's reach of gourging out the player however luckily, whether by miracle or fate, it seems that the NPC girl has figured out how to properly fire as an arrow lazily punts against the fur of the red bear. Looks like that homing payed off you think as it clearly would've missed if there was no homing due to the girl's lack of skill.

However there is a slight issue, whilst the arrow may have drawn the red bear's attention (i.e. aggro), it seemed to have done literally zero damage against the red bear. You're within 50 metres now from the bear and 3 arrows have so far flown against it, of which all 3 has done no more than irritate it and cause it to start charging towards the girl.
With a sigh, you
>Rush straight into the path of the bear for a "spear" thrust of the claymore (dangerous as heck to you)
>Dodge to the side of the bear before chopping it with the claymore (dangerous to Marinda if it gets past you and keeps going towards Marinda)
>Throw the claymore at the bear like a javelin (dangerous as you would lose your primary weapon and would have to use system menu to re-equip whip and dagger)

You decide that fuck strategy, you're going to beat this fucker with pure strength
>You have gained +1 foolishness
comes the system message however you ignore it as you focus solely on the red bear.
It charges at you with a roar and... a leap that takes over 20 metres towards you. However for all its speed and strength, you are currently boosted heavily by Foolish Courage as you counter charge it. With a thrust...

The two of you collide with iron against red fur however the one that wins that encounter is the claymore as it jams with a squish into the shoulder blade of the red bear, its power significantly improved by the speed both you and the bear was running.
A quick glance towards the bear's red health bar shows you that you have dealt
>203 damage with its remaining health being 297
However you did not get off scot-free as the charge and counter charge was of such strength that both your arms that had thrust the claymore are completely broken.
>Broken left arm
>Broken right arm
>You have lost 101 health, 224 health left
Your health is still decent however you quickly realise that you are at a major disadvantage, with both arms broken and the creature before you still alive...

The bear howls in pain as it once again starts rushing towards you however it seems that the player you were rescuing is not completely useless as he comes running holding a scroll. You also notice that in the distance Marinda was racing towards you... to think shes actually coming to help you... damn girl.

However it seems that both of them are too late as the bear stands on its hind legs in front of you as its right claw rushes towards your neck...

The red bear growls before its other paw rushes towards you too however whether by luck or something else, you manage to escape its blow as you kick off the bear's belly skidding backwards a metres and just barely dodging the other paw.

As you lie upon the ground awaiting your fate, it seems that the bear was about to kill you however, SaleBot202 now renamed Bot for short (until you can figure out the guy's real name at least) holds a scroll towards you as he calls out
"Scroll of Master-rank healing"

Like a dance, your fingers dash across the system prompts and quickly equip the "Dagger of shadows" (read: Chuuni dagger) and the badly made whip composed of wolf materials. It took less than 30 seconds however it had given enough time for the bear to rush near you as with a howl, its bladed claw rushes towards your head. You easily dodge the blow as you send out your whip to squeeze the life out of the bear's neck however the whip breaks suddenly as it tightens against the bear's neck... damnit, you shout as the bear shakes off your mild annoyance as its other clawed hand whistles through the air. *SLAM* you collapse onto the ground in a heap with the bear.
>-92 health 298 health left
You vomit blood and gastric juices as you quickly struggle upright and begin stabbing the bear with your dagger. The bear howls when the dagger touches it as if the dagger was the vilest poison as it jumps up and swipes towards you...
>You have lost your right arm, it is suggested you either die or go to a healer~
comes the annoyingly obvious message as your right arm below the shoulder is easily torn clean off by the claws.
>-192 health 106 health left
A quick glance shows you the bear is currently at 185 health however you barely have time to register it as the bear starts crawling upwards.

"uhh well I... Uhhhh.... damn. You're smarter than you look" Oliver babbles meanwhile.
"I will admit I'm surprised, always thought you were an idiot and all..." says the girl as if she's in shock.

Anyhow, you decide that whilst you have the momentum, it's best to drive the point forward.
"And as a result Oliver was it? You owe me a reward" You say with a smirk.

Hmm... the boxes don't seem to give you any hints of what's inside as you decide to take the star box. Oliver's grin grows wilder as you pick it, somewhere in the back of your mind, there's an argument going on that you should take the small box instead however you easily ignore it as you pick the star box.

Opening it reveals...
>You have received mysterious star made out of unknown materials. You do not know what it does. Maybe it could be made into something? Maybe it is a collectible for someone or maybe its for a quest? Or maybe you can just sell it online?
You really don't know...

Welp, it seems that instead of getting something quantifiable and useful like cash or equipment, you have instead gotten some kind of random item which may or may not be rare, may or may not be useful, hell you don't know anything about it.

You ask Oliver on what the fuck the star is however he simply shrugs his shoulders and says that he doesn't know. Nobody ever wants to buy it, game world or real world. He once had it up for auction on the internet for a whole week at 1bronze yet not a single buyer had appeared. He only held onto it as it might be fun to give to friends as a joke present.

The more pragmatic part of your mind is attempting its best to not rage... and failing.
"So you're telling me that it's a joke item that has absolutely no use whatsoever? Are you fucking serious?" You shout however he simply smiles as he points out you were the one to choose it.
With a sigh, you give in. Seems that whilst you beat Oliver in some parts, he had "beaten" you in others. As you're about to leave...
Oliver stops you by placing his arm around your shoulder as he says with a smile
"I like having smart mates like you around. How about you add this character and my main to your friend list? I get a feeling we can both profit from each other~" he states with a smile.

Not really, you have no real life experiene with that and no related skills. You have no necromancy besides the provided skill from your title.

Can I write sallying forth yet?
>>
>>34502214
Ask him why as long as he is being forthcoming
>>
>>34502236
Well my hopes are sufficiently dashed. Sally to your hearts content. One armed trap has KS appeal anyways. Hits two fetishes.
>>
>>34502242
"Well mate, that there's a question worth some coin. You willing to pay for the information? I can provide up to date information you can't fin no matter how you crawl the interwebz" he says with a smile.
Fuck him, you don't even have any coins with you, maybe you could offer him information or items?
>>
>>34502265
sounds like a katawa shoujo knock off
>>
>>34502265
Well as soon as you've died or gone to a healer, you'll be fine.
Writing sallying forth now. No more fucking questions
>>
>>34502274
Has he managed to get in the starting city's noble area yet?
>>
>>34502274
Pout as hard as you can. If we are intercommunicating though just huff despondently and cut the link.
>>
>>34502296
>inform our NPC lady friend that we will need to take a break from monster hunting due to the fact we are missing a fucking arm.
>>
>>34502296
"The fucking "lady's" place right? I remember that bitch's fucking quest. Just for fucking access, I had to go to some random red haired girl and convince her that there's someone better than her within the city. You know how fucking hard it was to convince that girl mate? Took me age" Wait what, he had gotten a different quest than you?

You decide that you are finished talking with Oliver and that you can always talk to him later through friend list. You bid him farewell with a smile as you and the girl continue forward. The girl looks at you for a moment with cute red cheeks however after a moment its a scowl again. Damn that girl and her scowls.

You begin the long cutting and what not of the red bear's fur. It is extremely hard and all of your wolf fang's break however you manage to finally finish skinning it.
>+Red Bear Fur
You also make sure to take the severed head and the paws. It takes you most of the day to do this so when night finally comes, the girl begins cooking the red bear. The meat gives of a scent that makes your mouth water. Just as you reach forward for your meal, a friendly casual tone calls out
"So... how long are you going to be using my friends equipment without their permission?" although the tone is friendly and casual, you feel a deep chill go down your spine.
"I think I will be taking all of the items you 'stole' from my friends just to be safe, if we're in a dangerous situation than you can 'borrow' them temporarily" she commands with an arrogant voice.

Give away your loot, is the girl fucking crazy?

You answer that
>You are not giving them back
>Try and convince her to let you keep the items
>Tell her that you are just temporarily using them and will give them back to their rightful owners when you meet them
>ooc: give her the items into her possession so you can only borrow them if necessary
>writein
>>
>>34502453
>>Tell her that you are just temporarily using them and will give them back to their rightful owners when you meet them

We still agreed to find her 'friends' after we finished the lady's quest
>>
>>34502302
the first part was responding to this btw
>>34502453
>>
>>34502453
>Try and convince her to let you keep the items
First of all, these items are now mine if I so choose. I'm being a kind enough person that I will honor my word and return them upon meeting with you 'friends. Second, if we are in a dangerous situation, I will need to have 'borrowed them' before the danger arrived, not to mention the fact that in your hands they aren't exactly... effective; I saw that arrow shoot backwards. Lastly, if you keep scowling at me like that your face will get stuck that way, didn't any of your maids or manservant ever deign to teach you proper manners?
Then huff despondently.
>>
>>34502521
This was me.
She doesn't need to know we have no intention of returning them though.
>>
>>34502453
>Try and convince her to let you keep the items
>>
>>34502453
is this why you were pulling the 'you really want to do this?' qm card?
>>
>>34502555
>>34502521
Writing
>>34502564
Yes

QM is tired as hell so will probably end after this.
>>
>>34502453
You attempt to keep calm whilst the bitch talks about debts and whatnot, fuck that. You're going to be keeping the items, you're about to answer her with obstinance before you realize that you could always lie to her. You begin your lie with reasonability and a small smile.
"These items you talk off? I could keep them if I had choosen however I'm being a kind enough individual that I will honor your request to find your friends. I promise that when I find them, I shall give them back" you state your point with elaborate arm movements whilst doing your best to ignore the fact that the whole "give them back" was nothing more than pure bullshit.
You're not going to give back loot you struggled to get, not even if it was worth a single bronze.
She doesn't seem convinced yet so you begin your second argument
"Second, if we are in a dangerous situation, I will need to have 'borrowed them' before the danger arrived, not to mention the fact that in your hands they aren't exactly... effective; I saw that arrow shoot backwards." she blushes at the last part as she avoids your glance. You swore she whispered something however you seem to have missed it.
To finally hammer your point in, you decide to change the topic before she can properly react as you say with a smirk
"if you keep scowling at me like that your face will get stuck that way, didn't any of your maids or manservant ever deign to teach you proper manners?" you taunt like a child before promptly scampering a good distance away from her. Never good to stay in range of the girl when she's angry after all.

She looks at you petulantly before the expression turns back to the familiar scowl.
"Alright alright, it hurts my pride but you can keep the items" she answers while glaring at you. Man that girl really needs to learn to smile...

With that issue mostly resolved, it's now time for the sweet bliss of sleep. With a silent smile at your victories today, you fall into a deep slumber.

Char limit had been reached.
Anyhow, this is a good point to end it since I'm too tired to bother writing until a cliffhanger.

Question me freely I'll be around for another 10 or so minutes

Thanks for running, great thread.
Do we have any more skill points to assign?
Traps huffing despondently is my fetish, why won't you let me have this ;_;
>>
>>34502723
I don't know, it'll be on twitter. I was originally thinking on doing it tomorrow however family might pop up and ruin that.

what?

I've seen this in the first two (four) threads. Kinda liked it and was following it since I like Moonlight Sculptor but I see this has been turned into a shitfest of namefags in the meanwhile.
>>
Why the fuck are we traveling with an annoying girl? Why did we took her along in the first place?

It doesn't make any sense that it was because we could not refuse the quest. What is stopping us from refusing it in the first place? You can always just say "no, I will not help you find your shitty friends". Even if we initially accepted it, what is stopping the player from just abandoning her?
