Yes sir. Our reinforcements are an all-female elite shock trooper regiment hailing from an unspecified Imperial desert world. They are well trained and disciplined but have problems with following orders from outsiders (probably caused by the fact that they are extremely proud of their homeworld). They have access to special vehicles and have close a relationship with the Inquisition. They have also partaken in many anti-Dark Eldar operations.

>Tyranids arrived and begin to eat EVERYTHING
>Badass Militia prepare to fight to the last
>Fucking Space Marines arrived and save the day (I'm thinking Salamanders)
>Tyranid's are defeated but the world is reduce to a sickening deathworld
>Inquisitor arrives, decrees that the population are lacking faith and the militia are formed into a penal legion
>Penal legion is trained in close quarters combat because they're expendable and are meant to break open enemy formations before the more valuable troops are committed to the fight
>The regimental priests believe that these troops souls can be saved by heroic sacrifice and begin to bless wargear so that the penal legionaries can give the last full measure of devotion to the Emperor
>Over time they become legends. You need a fortress stormed, earthen works overran or a city cleared you deploy the 1st Alerian, they'll do it.
>Always we remember the Astartes who saved us while our planet died
>Always we remember the Tyranids who took our friends, our families and our world from us

You run them as men with a mission. They will purge the enemies of man, they will fight anyone they have to so that some day, years from now they can return to their ruined world and rebuild it.

>>
>>34423808
This is more for fun, because as you can see from our most recent regiment the roller sometimes creates bizarre feature (heretical and blessed wargear).

Are you building a regiment for minis gaming or a rpg campaign? Because you quickly roll your and own tweak options that don't fit or build it from scratch without using the creation tables (they are just there to speed everything up)
>>
>>34423932
minis table.
wanted to do something nice, thought the generator might have been a good idea
then heretic blessed gear happened.... stll a badass regiment
>>
>>34423953
Feel free to use them, the heretical and blessed gear can be reconciled (they've been accused of heresy rather than actually worshipping chaos or because of how huge the Imperium is there doctrine may be seen as heretical even though they are still loyal to the Emperor)
>>
>>34424000
I will, thanks!
>>
>>34424044
What's that? You want to know why we fight, why when we're deployed into every shitty warzone command can find we stubbornly refuse to die? You were young them so I suppose you don't know much about how the regiment got formed.

Because we remember Alara. Our homeworld wasn't much compared to some of the worlds I've seen since leaving it but it was ours, it was green fields and little streams and good people you understand, good God fearing people. I remember drinking in the pubs after a long day in the fields, watching the militia march out the drive off raiders or barbarians.

And then Tyranids came. They were monsters without end who devoured all life, but we fought back, by the Emperor we fought back. Everyone learnt how to fight, if you didn't you didn't last long enough to be a burden but even then the Tyranid's kept coming. They devoured entire cities, the land itself was twisted by their arrival, crops withered in the growing season, the water became toxic and animals warped into terrifying beasts.

We were ready to die, to be destroyed along with our homes but then they arrived. The Adeptus Astrates are terrifying, they walked on our dying world without fear and fought the Tyranids. First the made it a stand still, then slowly but surely they began to drive them back, it took years and countless deaths but eventually our planet was ours again.

But Alara was sick, the fields had been scorched to ash and the animal life that had survived had been twisted and become feral. It would have taken countless lifetimes to rebuild but we were ready, we were strong. But even the hell was denied to us, every man woman and child of Alara was judged a failure in the eyes of the emperor and we were sent to die in his name on unfamiliar worlds.
>>
>>34424250
>continued

So that is why I fight, because I refuse to die anywhere but Alara. I gave my blood, my sweat and my love to that planet and nobody not Segentum command, not the Commissariat and not the Emperor's Holy Inquisition can make me die without seeing my home again.

Because learn this lesson boy, learn it well. We are the men of Alara, we are stronger than the Tyranids and all the horrors of this galaxy and the Emperor will guide us home again, we just have to kill all of his enemies first so shoulder your lasgun, sharpen your knife and get ready to fight.

>It's also implied that they're a penal legion.
>>
>>34424798

also about the recent regiment, another idea is to have them be a bunvh of criminals from a maximum security prison on an airless death world who came together and beat the out of the tyranids so good an unknown warp entity (could be any of the chaos gods or even the emperor himself) blessed them with sweet wargear
now they're a soldiers withour borders type regiment with the deathworld as their outer heaven

>Part 1 of 2
You want to know more about us? Emperor only knows why but I've tales aplenty about our regiments achievements.

We first saw Space Marines on Alara, they were our salvation and six years later we saw them again. I think they were the same space marines, their armour was the same green with covered with draconic icons but if they recognised us or remembered Alara they did not speak to us about it.

We were fighting Orks on some hive world, I cannot recall the name and it doesn't really matter, they had arrived in their crude ships and were sweeping through one of the massive spire cities looting and burning as they went. I hate Hive World's, they're to cramped, to tall and nothing ever grows there but that was were we ordered and you don't even think about questioning orders in a penal legion so we went.

We landed in the sprawl with another regiment, masked men in great coats who didn't say a word I never learnt where they were from but they seemed eager to fight and had the big guns so I left them be, and dug prepared for a siege.

I once heard an artillery regiment say sieges are boring, I don't know where they were posted by they must have been doing something wrong. Every day for the first month of the campaign we fired shells into the spires, blowing chunks out of them and raining shrapnel down on the Orks and they fire down at the sprawl killing men and throwing so much dust and dirt into the sky that you couldn't tell night from day. We dug trenches, fox holes, and sheltered in the ruins of the sprawl all the while waiting for the order to advance and listening the big guns.
>>
>>34427144
>Part 2 of 3

Then the order came, were pilled into chimeras and advanced under the dust cloud. The fighting was terrible, we reached the spires, breached the lowered levels and began the long climb up fighting room to room, floor to floor. I've never been so tired and all the while the regimental commissar was standing there, a group of enginseer's carrying some contraption with them, telling us 'Up you go lads, just another few levels, just until we came see the sky.'

So we climbed, fighting as we went offering prays and curses whenever the spire shook from artillery shell going off nearby, climbed until we had to stop. Emperor knows how long we'd been at it, it was at least hours but it could have been days I remember that we barricaded ourselves in what looked like an apartment complex part of the way up the spire and I think I got some sleep. But after all that fighting and climbing we got up above the smog and dust and grime.

I'm seen to much to be truly sentimental but after a month of nothing but dust and smog seeing blue cloudless sky stretching out everywhere it made you think He-who-Dwells-on-Terra really was watching us. The commissar ordered us to secure a nearby landing pad were the Orks had set up some of their big guns, no explosives or heavy weapons were to be used, it had to be taken intact. The masked troopers didn't seem happy about that but they didn't object and we Alarans are got up close so we fixed bayonets, sharped our knives and got ready for the big push.

We exploded out of the spire, took the Orks by surprise I guess they were more interested blowing things up than checking on what had been happening inside the spire. I found myself squaring off with a big one, ugly as sin and twice as mean. I fired away on full auto, burning through the last bit of my power pack while the Ork barrelled towards me, he took a few hits square in the chest and kept on coming.
>>
>>34427341
>Part 3 of 3

His shout of 'WAAAAAAAARGGH' seemed to shake the tower, but in retrospect that could have been friendly artillery, and then he was on my his crude axe sweeping downwards.I rolled sideways and stabbed at his knee with my bayonet as he passed me by, the big brute tumbled down but he was up more quickly than anything that big should be able to move.

Remember what I said boy, we refuse to die until we're home again so I scrambled back up and caught sight of the commissar of the corner of my eye. He was fighting another big ork while his cog-boys had set a small beacon and were frantically yammering away in 'clicks' and 'beeps' while on of them swung some incense around.

Back on my feet I stayed low, made myself a smaller target than Ork and jabbed with my bayonet ducking his brutal chops. I was tired and he didn't seem to mind the smoking holes in his chest so anyone would have told you it was only a matter of time until he got me.

Then a miracle happened. A brilliant green pod covered in draconic symbols slammed into the landing pad knocking everybody down, and out of it stepped ten Space Marines, armed to the teeth. Apparently they'd been in orbit and waiting for reliable targeting data to arrive, they made short work of the Orks on the pad as more pods slammed into other spires and began their battle-brothers set up purging the xenos with fire and steel.

These were those same marines who were with us on Alara I know it, they didn't speak to us about Alara though but they did speak with us during that campaign, they told us to be proud of our world, of our deeds and that we had shown no fear.

I think we got sent to that Hive World to die as penance for whatever failure that inquisitor saw when he sentenced us to this life, our causalities were high enough that our penal legion may have been broken down and sent off to bolster other penal legions but those Astartes reminded us of our purpose, of our home and of our honour.
>>
>>34427573
>Last line this grew a bit

We will see Alara again, and we will make it a beautiful world.

As the administration of Wheaton VII by Governor Amos Sinclair strayed further and further from orthodoxy the governor became more shut in retreating among a cadre of senior officers from the PDF. Their debauched dealings, rituals of obvious malign Slaanesh influence were found when one of their would-be-victims, Miss Emilia Hartwell, escaped the place and informed a convent of the Orders Hospitaller. Governor Sinclair, misrule was soon pun an end to in the most permanent way possible by members of the Order of the Obsidian Mirror. Their investigation into his cooperation found that the taint was not confined to the governor’s inner circle but spread deep into all aspect of planetary government, the dark rituals practiced by the governor had been passed from father to son for centuries. So widespread was the contamination that planetary administration was executed to a man, and to prevent any further catastrophes of this nature it was decried that both the both the planetary government and its PDF be made up solely of women, never more would a man corrupt the world of Wheaton VII.
>>
>>34427914

2/?

With such an organization it was only natural that Imperial Guard regiments of Wheaton be all female as well. Wheaton regiments are know through the sector for their rock hard drill and discipline; however two of the most famous regiments are the 6th Infantry and the 12th Grenadier Infantry.

The 6th Infantry was raised much as any Guard regiment is raised; a mixture of volunteers from the PDF and recruitment and conscription among the general populace. Fighting with weapons blessed at shrine to Saint Harwell on Wheaton the 6th fright stubbornly against the servants of ruinous powers.
>>
>>34427936

3/3

The 12th Grenadiers’ were raised among the elite of Wheaton, daughters of the wealthy merchants, senior officials in the planetary hierarchy and PDF officers. Making heavy use of Taurus assault vehicle, the 12th regiment is known as the Lionesses after their destruction of a dark elder kabal on Lowell.

So an elite guerrilla IG regiment composed of heavy infantry which comes from a jungle hiveworld and has its own specialized type of lasgun, even though they tend to tell authority to go fuck itself. Somehow, the Ecclesiarchy likes them. Probably because they remove orks and don't afraid of nothing.
