You are Sireyi Valyenya, 18 years old, you are on your first quest.

You have retrieved the Horn of Alzurad: a legendary artefact that can call dead heroes back to fight for the holder of the Horn. But now you’re lost on another plane, trying to find your way home.

The Drache fleet (water and air) is approaching the Island of Storms, and the storm that is always nearby rumbles angrily.
Soon battle will be joined.

The demons and sorcerers approaching are able to withstand all but the strongest lightning blasts from the storm, their mortal allies are not so lucky.

Your forces are deployed as follows

Beaches
None

Town
Civilians (8,000)
Militia (1,500)
Town Guards (230)

Palace
Palace Guards (190)
Palace Guards w/Mystic Power Armour (30)
Palace Guards w/Stormwings (30)
Wizards (20)
Fivefold Death of Cities (1)

You must decide what you will do, and how you will deploy your forces.

Character sheet updated with Sireyi’s romantic preferences.

To answer some of the (very reasonable and well-worded) critiques from last thread:
First of all, thank you for the feedback.
I am aware that having Sireyi be open to multiple partners of both genders is going to result in waifu wars at some point.
I believe that the quest can survive it, and that although some players may go, there will still be enough people interested to continue.
I picked this for several reasons, firstly because it’s how I genuinely see the character. Secondly, I don’t see any option that will completely prevent an argument about romantic options. Even if I had picked the most restrictive preferences, some people would still be unhappy.
Finally, I believe that Sireyi’s preferences as written strike a balance between players having choices, and an established character preference to guide discussion, whilst giving me a believable and in-character veto on troll voting.

If you have specific questions or feedback, I would appreciate them, but please leave it until the end of the thread, or use my Ask.fm page.

Blowing the Horn is a free action in mass combat turns, the Heroes can act as soon as they arrive.

You have 1 hour (2 mass combat turns) before the Drache hit the beaches, what will you do?

Troops
>Relocate Troops (How?)
>Everyone stays where they are

Sireyi?
>Teleport Giants in (40) – 1 turn
>Plane-shift Paladins and Knights of Konig in (2,000/turn)

>Plane-shift to fetch Isla, Jianxi and/or Matthias (which?) – does not take a turn.
>Other (what?)

Sofia
>Nothing
>Speech to bolster forces (affects all units in a single area, pick area)
>Other (what?)

Jal and Bokin

You have 2 turns, so can pick 2 actions (that require turns) for each character.
Teleporting the giants still takes a full turn due to the time spent convincing them to join the battle at all.

We can evac all civilians before their non-flying units can possibly reach the town.
Trying to defend the shore is a bad fight for a lot of reasons.
Check the bombardment capabilities of Warships and Airships.

>>34338784
That's not actually a good idea, due to bombardment a fair amount of those summons would die before Drache's ground forces even arrive.

>>34338768
Add in that Sofia should take a Stormwing from one of the palace guards to my vote, since I forgot it.
>>
>>34338801
>We can evac all civilians before their non-flying units can possibly reach the town.
Evacuating takes up Sireyis combar rounds though, which we will need most against the flying units when the town comes under siege.
I'm not saying to defend the shore, just that we don't forget the civilians until last minute when we would need Sireyi.
>>
>>34338624
Finally, the quest that ruins my sleep cycle ARRIVES.
>>
>>34338806
That's why Sofia takes a stormwing, to make her flight-capable.
Alternatively, Heroes of the Horn are flight-capable and probably necessary if you seriously plan on fighting the flying demons in the sky.
Hero units can't inflict the kind of damage we would need by themselves.
>>
>>34338841
>That's why Sofia takes a stormwing, to make her flight-capable.
I don't think Sofia can do much in the sky. Seiryi can fight that massive amount because of her AoE with Storms, anyone else I would not like to see try to fight them in the open air.
>>
>>34338768
+1 to Sofia with Stormwings though.
>>
>>34338867
That's not how the mass combat rules work.
Sofia inflicts nearly as many casualties (literally only 10 less maximum) against demons.

>Storm Powers – Sireyi has wide-area lightning powers that can kill a lot of ordinary troops but is less effective against demons and sorcerers. Costs 20 Divine Energy
>Less effective against demons and sorcerers
I know the meta-rules, trust me, her Lightning is not the answer to demons.
>>
>>34338890
I meant the Stormwinds for defence though.
But I take your point regarding Sofia.
>>
>>34338768
>Sireyi
>only a 4 and 8 at best
what?
>>
You give the Horn of Alzurad to Sofia, telling her not to blow it until you give the order, or if she thinks it is needed.

You keep the Storm-powered Elemental Node on you, the rest are in the Fivefold Death of Cities.

Sofia begins riding through the Town, encouraging those she finds there and bolstering their courage. Jal and Bokin accompany her. Sofia takes one of the stormwings with her.

You cast a spell to keep in contact with your allies (Telepathic Bond) and allow you to direct the course of the battle.

You cast your planeshift spell and start evacuating civilians to the Kingdom of Dornmer, on another plane. Casting the spell the first time is incredibly difficult, and as the first few civilians disappear you feel something break around you. After that casting the spell is much easier and you are quickly able to move them through in groups.

After a half hour, you switch your focus to summoning in the paladins and knights of Konig.

You focus on your arcane energies, chanting out the words that describe what you want to happen. As you complete your spell you feel the energies within the Elemental Node dip before recharging itself from the storm overhead.

As lightning dances all around you, faint outlines of knights atop warhorses become clearer and clearer until the Paladins and Knight surround you.

An old man in full plate atop a truly vicious black warhorse trots up to you and lifts his helm.
It’s Sir Orville Cadgoras, Paladin of Konig and Hero of the Realm. You once sat in a lecture he gave concerning the duties of Paladins.
“Well girl” he demands “Where are the demons we came to face?”

You decide to keep the Knights and Paladins of Konig at the Castle for now. They chafe under such a restriction, wanting to go forth to keep the enemy, but Sir Cadgoras keeps them under control.

You move to the Town and keep casting your spells to evacuate the civilians.

Sofia rises into the sky wearing a pair of stormwings, and blows the Horn.

The loud, clear note of the Horn of Alzurad sounds. You feel a strong pull towards it, but as you are alive, its call does nothing to you.

All around the Heroes of the Horn appear. Sofia sees:
Several dozen paladins and priests of Konig, some from centuries ago. They wield a variety of weapons and wear different armour styles, some are on foot, others are mounted on horses, or griffens, pegasai, or other fantastic beasts.
Towering above them is the mountain giant, Moknathal, the only giant to become a hero of the horn, his silver-bound warclub over one shoulder.
With their bows of white wood, arrows notched and ready to fly, come the twin rangers Simon and Samuel, their pack of hunting dogs following in their wake.
A glowing longsword in his hand, the martial-arts master and psionic, Sifu Kybec.
Hefting waraxe and shield and wearing his horned helm, the dwarf fighter, Stubble, notable for his clean-shaven chin.
Tattoos covering his skin, the sorcerer-fighter, Janus.
In a long black robe, and with arcane energies crackling around him is the lizardman sorcerer Arzad.
Shadows curling around him, his true appearance concealed, the illusionist, Handers.
Standing seven feet tall, dressed in fur and leather and carrying a double-headed axe, the fighter and war hero Dunahk.
Wielding two blades of magical force, and garbed in glowing armour, the inquisitor-priest Jhazard.

>>
Great we blew the horn....

>>
>>34339206
Long metal claws extend from his gauntlets, the snarling, scarred visage of Hurlayk, the half-ogre pit fighter.
His longsword sheathed, at his hip, both thumbs tucked casually into his belt, and a wide-brimmed hat on his head, the orc blademaster, Tirland.
More heroes, humans, elves, dwarves, people unknown, those even Sireyi wouldn't recognise. one hundred and fourteen in all, the heroes of the horn.
And last of all is Alzurad, the first sounder of the horn. He doesn’t appear very impressive at first glance, just an old human soldier with greying hair and too many scars. When he turns to look at Sofia, she gets a good look at his eyes. He has the look of a man who has seen the worst the world has to offer, and he wasn’t impressed the first time either.
“So” he says in a gravelly voice “who do you need us to fight, young lady?”

The Drache Elite and the Demons advance into the Town.

The Infantry, Sorcerers and Siege Engines disembark, accompanied by the Warrior.

Overhead in the skies Sofia attacks the flying demons using her paladin powers, taking down 195 of them, temporarily exhausting her powers.

The Heroes of the Horn attack the flying demons, wiping them out.

Jal attacks the Drache Elite, killing 13 of them.

Bokin attacks the Drache Elite, killing 85 of them.

The civilians hide away from combat

The Island militia are fighting hard to defend their homes, though they are not professional soldiers they fight the Drache Elite, killing 90 of them.

The town guards are fighting as hard as they can, though more used to ejecting drunks from taverns they fight against the Drache Elite, killing 95 of them.

The Paladins of Konig charge into the demons with a loud crash, killing 240 of them.

The Knights of Konig also charge into the demons, killing 95 of them.

Palace Guards

Heroes of the Horn
The legendary Heroes of the Horn

Enemies

Elite Infantry
The Drache elite are veterans of many battles and their expertise shows. They attack the Town Guard and wipe them out, the few town guard that remain are too wounded to fight, have fled, or are captives of the Drache.

Air Cavalry
Mountain on their flying beasts, the Drache aerial cavalry swoop down upon their foes. Attacking the Heroes of the Horn they manage to kill 1 of them.

Demons
An eclectic variety of monsters and freaks, the demons attack their foes with claws, misshapen limbs, acidic and/or poisonous excretions and dark magics. They attack the Militia, reducing their numbers by 240.

I didn't count the vote saying Jal was useless as a vote either way, I read it as "I don't care what she does", I'm sorry I misinterpreted.

I had no intention of that, we need Seireyi ready because she needs to evacuate people into the castle and then plane shift them out. Not to mention taking care of the sorcerer.

I agree about the death ray. We desperately need it for the Ruler, otherwise killing the ruler will become a (You may fall) option for killing all the civilians inbetween.
>>
>>34339922
The Ruler going into hiding would only make any assassination attempts more problematic. I say that him going into hiding weakens the hold he has on Drache, allowing Ellahi more wiggle-room to start that Cult of Joy and win the people to her cause.

I ran simulations under the assumption it can strike anywhere on the Island, kills the maximum amount of units each round, and has 11 shots.

we already have by way of In-character questions, and we got told its a horrible terrible idea against the warrior, because it sends the Ruler into his fortress in the middle of a populated city, where we would have to murder at least hundred innocents to get to him.

The warrior isn't even an issue right now, we can wait to kill him with the Heroes and lose nothing. If he dies it won't change shit because the over 100k soldiers are still on our frikkin island and are not going to leave.
So tipping our hand with the FFDoC is aterrible idea just for that.

The warrior isn't attacking anyone, killing him with the death ray won't save any lives.

You manage to evacuate the remaining civilians, you got them all out, just as the Drache infantry approached.

Sofia attacks the Airships, but isn’t able to accomplish much beyond killing a few crew.

Jal retreats back to the castle to ensure the children are ok, they’re fine, Ebonsong is curled up under the crib, hissing in displeasure at being kept from the battle.

Bokin tears into the Drache Elite, killing 125 of them

The Militia attack the Drache Elite, killing 90 of them

The Paladins attack the Demons, killing 170 of them

The Knights attack the Demons, wiping them out.

The Heroes of the Horn attack the Airships, and destroy 5 of them.

The Wizards fly up to engage the Airships, but have no effect.

The Drache Elite attack the Militia, killing 160 of them.

The Demons attack the Paladins of Konig, killing 80 of them, before being wiped out.

The Air Cavalry swarms the Heroes of the Horn, killing 3 of them.

The Warrior attacks the Militia, killing 170 of them, then he spots Bokin.

Reading vote as 5 Yes/5 No - so no shot, this turn at least.

A huge black and red dragon approaches Sofia, swooping over her. He’s 40ft long from head to hindquarters and she can sense strong evil (demon) coming from him. He has long horns on his head and his body is covered in thick armoured plates, his glowing red eyes regard you balefully. On his chest-scales, over his heart is a complex arcane symbol.

“Princess” he rumbles “Prepare to die.” His jaws open wide and hellfire gushes forth.

You fly up to attack the dragon, you get a sense of evil from it, it’s some kind of demon, as well as being a dragon. The few hits you do manage to get upon it are ineffective.

Sofia keeps sounding the Horn of Alzurad, but keeps her distance from the fight.

The Knights attack the Drache Infantry, killing 110 of them

The Paladins attack the Warrior, wounding him slightly.

The Heroes of the Horn attack the Warrior, and badly wound him.

The Drache Infantry attack the Knights of Koning, killing 190 of them.

The Air Cavalry attack the Knights of Konig, killing 105 of them.

The Warrior attacks the Heroes of the Horn, killing 10 of them.

The Airships continue bombing the castle, to no effect.

The Siege Engines attack the Castle, to no effect.

The Dragon breathes a gout of hellfire at Sofia, wounding her badly.

You attack the dragon again, drawing upon your powers to hurt hit, striking out with the divine power of Velya you wound it slightly.

Sofia keeps sounding the Horn of Alzurad, and tries to keep her distance from the fight, but fails.

The Knights and Paladins retreat to the Castle.

The Heroes of the Horn attack the Warrior, and bring him down.

The Drache Infantry attack the Knights of Konig as they retreat, killing 225 of them.

The Air Cavalry attack the Knights of Konig as they retreat, killing 50 of them.

The Warrior attacks the Heroes of the Horn, killing 5 of them.

The Airships continue bombing the castle, damaging its defences (1/3).

The Siege Engines attack the Castle, to no effect.

The Dragon breathes another gout of hellfire at Sofia, she drops to the ground, charred and blackened.

The heroes should be better fighters anyway. And they revive, making them the best choice for enemies with instant death attacks like the dragon.
>>
With the Warrior finally brought down by the Heroes of the Horn, he lays on the ground, beaten, but not dead. You approach.

This demon is huge, perhaps 20 feet tall if he were standing. He has 4 legs and a lower body much like a dragons, all scales and armour plates, a long tail with a spiked club at the ends trails behind him.

His upper body is that of an armoured, muscular humanoid, and his face is a horrid twisted visage with fangs and burning eyes. His twin axes lie fallen on the ground, slick with his blood, and the blood of those he has slain.

His lifeblood oozes out of him, dissolving the stone it drips on. One side of his face is smashed in from a blow of Moknathals club

He looks at you with his remaining good eye “So” he rumbles “You’re the one that Ilkethian was so worried about, I don’t see why: you took no part in this battle, the dead Princess of Jalweyen did more than you.”

>Those sounds like the words of a defeated foe.

>>
“The Queen isn’t dead, with the grace of Velya I was able to save her.” you say “And you’re not very bright are you?”

You bring your Halberd down on his head, charged with the might of your goddess. His skull splits and foul-spelling ichor sprays out. The mighty Warrior is dead.

Overhead the Heroes of the Horn harass the Dragon until it turns tail, flying away from the Island. It flies faster than the Heroes of the Horn, but not faster than you.

Summoning your elemental powers you pour as much energy as you dare into a powerful bolt of lightning, your attack strikes its right wing, causing the targeted appendage to spasm, and then hang limp, smoking.

The dragon plummets down to the ocean with a roar of pain and anger, hitting with a huge splash, by the time it has surfaced again you hover above it, ready to deal out punishment.

You blast him with another bolt of lightning as he tries to dive under the water to escape.

You see the dragon illuminated in the water as your lightning dances all around him as he thrashes and twitches.

Eventually he floats to the surface, unconscious, you can still see his body moving as he breathes, so he’s not dead yet.

What about everyone else that he's harmed or killed?
He's also an enemy commander and a demon (hellwyrm), I would feel no guilt from ending his life.

Also, I think Sofia was dead briefly, or pretty close to it.

>>34341837
Are you forgetting that it doesn't work on demons at it's current level at all?
That's also not an excuse for leaving him, but it might be one for capturing him.

>>34341787
This is me, changing my vote to kill.
>>
>>34341835
>Why would anyone be more pissed of at the dragon than at any of the other enemies?
Because he inflicted damage on a person we (the readers and Seiryi) actually care about personally.
And yes, him being able to actually kill a lot of people is a pretty reasonable criteria, it means risking him getting away is playing with the live of a lot of people.
>>

>What if >>34341871 is actually correct though, anon?
What if the Warrior was actually a cursed Champion of Good that was forced to all this Evil ?
Its not our responsibility to risk the lives of hundreds for our personal moral convenience.
>>
>>34341992
>>Irregardless
>Hahaha, that ain't a word!
You're actually right, not sure were I caught that one. I've been using it for years and no one ever told me.
>>
>>34342001
Thing is, demons are inherently evil and opposed to the gods. Dragons aren't and this one having a weird sigil and demonic taint hints at weird happenings.

Also: don't we always detect demonic things as evil? What if the dragon isn't evil and only the demonic taint makes it appear as evil? What if Sireyi is evil and only her angelic nature makes her feel good.
>>
>>34342001
That actually sounds exactly like what a Paladin of Joy does.
>>
>>34341931
>guidance
N

End the demon and get back to the fight.
>>
You don't get a full communion from Velya but you do receive the following information:

- As a Hellfire Wyrm (demon-dragon), killing this foe even whilst helpless will not cause you to fall
- This foe did not fight you or Sofia of it's own free will
- Velya would prefer you not kill this foe, but will leave the choice in your hands, as she trusts you
>>
>>34342035
Then we do him a favor by freeing him from this evil magic. He won't be able to fight it anymore now then before, and we might not be around to get him later, depedning on how the battle goes.
>>
>>34342041
No, no it doesn't

>>34342046
He did not fight us of his own free will, doesn't mean he isn't evil.
>>
>>34342042
My apologies, I was submitting just as you posted.
>>
>>34342046
>Redeeming Touch on the dragon, then leave it be.

What's the point of being a Paladin if we can't have Goku levels of goodliness?
>>
>>34342046
That's enough for me to swap back over to the people wanting to Capture, tying the vote again.
Because I am the wishy-washiest voter in all of 4chan and I hate myself for it.

>>34342094
Pointless, we need Reform Demon for that to even kind of work.
>>
It seems consensus is going to be difficult to come by.

Final Destination vote in 5 minutes, the only options will be to kill, or leave (for now) - you will have the option to come back later to capture him, or leave him to his own fate, in a later post.
>>
>>34342118
Is there any chance he'll be back in the fight at this point?
>>
>>34342064
Anon, come on. We are a paladin. It's literally our job description to fight according to a moral code. And that includes redeeming enemies.
>>34342046
Based on veyla I think that emphasises how good of an idea it is to capture and redeem this dragon
>>
>>34342137
In this fight? None.

But maybe in a fight another day, yes
>>
>>34342139
Mathrian, you need to reread his statement.
Risking our own life to help others is fine, risking the lives of hundreds is not.
That's not paladin behavior at all.
>>
>>34342118
Leave for now then if he can't fight and we can redeem him later.
>>
Final Destination Vote

1 - Kill
2 - Leave, for now

Quote or don't quote, comment or not - I'll count any vote I can understand and that shows a clear vote for one option or another - not for both.
>>
>>34342139
Well now we can't kill him anymore. I change my vote to >>34341941

Now we can't kill him anymore. But we are going to regret that. He is still a Hellfirewyrm and will still murder people, and we have no guarantee that we can even capture him later.
>>
You leave him for now and return to the battle. The remaining Drache forces are gathered around the castle, what do you intend to do?

>Find a way to defeat them, somehow
>Plane-shift everyone away before they breach the walls
>Use Seeds of Destruction (spell)
>Have the Heroes of the Horn fight them
>Have the Heroes of the Horn capture the remaining Airships.
>Other
>>
>>34342247
>Plane-shift everyone away before they breach the walls
Lets get out of here, we can't defeat them all.
And arranging a massacre would be definitly not Paladin behavior.
>>
>>34342231
>>34342177
I don't get where you guys got the idea we couldn't kill him.
It straight up said that we still could without falling, and Velya wouldn't judge us for it.

>>34342247
>Sireyi starts plane-shifting everyone away
>HotH knock Sorcerers numbers below 200 (this is very important) and then go hijack an airship.
>Also make sure to take all the cores
>>
>>34342247
>Use Seeds of Destruction (spell)
>>
>>34342247
Seeds of destruction
>>
>>34342275
Because we got straight up told the reasons we would have killed him for, weren't his fault. Killing him then would have been callous not righteous fury.

>>34342247
>Plane-shift everyone away before they breach the walls
>Let the heroes fight them
>>
short break, back in 15 minutes.

Things to consider if leaving:

Elemental Nodes (as one anon pointed out already) and the FFDoC - take it with you or destroy it?

Voting on these 2 options will come later.
>>
>>34342247
>>34342275

That sounds good, support.
>>
>>34342310
We need to take the Nodes out and take the FFDoC with us.
More important is, what do we do about the Sorcerer ?
>>
>>34342463
Well, the Island's defenses should prevent anyone from staying here too long, and they need a certain minimal amount of Sorcerers to free the Sorcerer.
Reduce them below this number, and we shouldn't have to worry about it.

It's not like there's really anything we can do about it right now, short of killing Sofia and our daughter.

Maybe blow up the Island after everyone else is gone with Sireyi plane-shifting out at the last second?

Could we take the Hearthfire with us, do you think?
Just plane-shift it along for the ride, complete with Demon Lord?
>>
You direct the Heroes of the Horn to defeat the remaining Sorcerers as you plane-shift everyone away.

It takes you a couple of hours to evacuate everyone else.

No sooner do you have the last of your allies whisked away to another plane than Alzurad comes to get you.

“Time to go girlie” he says gruffly “The walls are falling in, I’ve got the troops in control of an airship, and there’s nothing left for you here.”

Only you and the Heroes of the Horn are left on the Island, your allies and adventuring party are all safe in Dornmer on another plane.

You have retrieved all 6 Elemental Nodes, but the Fivefold Death of Cities is still intact – useless as it is without the Cores.

What will you do before leaving with the Airship?

>Nothing
>Smash the Fivefold Death of Cities
>Take the FFDoC with on the airship
>Fire the FFDoC at the Heartfire in hopes of killing the Sorcerer
>Try to interrupt the Heartfire using my powers – then I or one of the Heroes can kill the Sorcerer
>Ignore the Dragon in the Ocean
>Go back and take him captive
>Other

Pick all the (non-exclusive) options you want.

As the dragon is also a demon, currently your Redeeming Touch would have no effect.
>>
>>34342565
>Try to interrupt the Heartfire using my powers – then I or one of the Heroes can kill the Sorcerer
Half the heroes are paladins, they can probably help.

>Go back and take him captive
Not okay with leaving him to go free.
>>
>>34342565
>>34342600
Also this:
>Take the FFDoC with on the airship
I'm assuming these are giant military airships designed to carry incredibly large and heavy things, since the FFDoC is house-sized and made entirely of metal.
>>
>>34342650
You assume correctly
>>
>>34342565
>take FFDoC with us
>>
>>34342565
>Take the FFDoC with on the airship
>>
>>34342749
>>34342822
Guys, you're supposed to pick multiple options.
Unless that's the only one you want?
>>
>>34342600
>>34342650
Second
>>
>>34342543
I think if the Hearthfire holds, we can use the FFFDoC against the castle after we blown up the ruler.
>>
With some of the greatest wizards in history being members of the Heroes, interrupting the Heartfire enough to release the Sorcerer takes only a few minutes.

The help them, bending your powers to the task as they direct, a small group of you surrounding the Heartfire as the paladins amongst the Heroes stand watch.

The other Heroes are securing the Fivefold Death of Cities to the bottom of the Airship.

The Hearfire gutters briefly and goes out, only to restart second later.

In that brief instant a burned and blackened humanoid figure falls out, you recall the similarities to Sofia’s near-death experience.

On the ground the figure stirs, its flesh already re-growing.

“I live” it gasps and continues “I breathe, I am free.”

As it crawls up onto its hands and knees you realise it has three faces, each on one side of its head, and each statement came from a different mouth.

As it’s flesh turned from black char to demonic red it skin it looks around and hisses in anger “But not for much longer, I think.” It says from one face whilst another continues “I surrender”.

The third face says “I offer money, power, knowledge to any who would spare me.”

“Save your lies demon” says one of the Paladins of Konig, walking forward with a heavy sword held high to decapitate it.

>Do nothing
>It’s surrendered, you can’t just kill it
>This kill is mine
>Talk to it first
>Other
>>
>>34342565

>>34342822
Ok adding
>Go back and take him captive

I don't want to risk things with the sorcerer for now.
>>
>>34342862
>Do nothing
>Smash the faces that didn't surrender
>>
>>34342862
>Let him kill the Third Duke
He's going to use smite, being a Paladin, correct?
Also why are the Paladins of Konig still here?
I thought we sent away everyone that wasn't a hero or ourselves.

>>34342872
Too late!
He's free!
And dead immediately!
>>
>>34342862
>Do nothing
He is as evil as they come, and he clearly doesn't mean his surrender.
Daily reminder that redeeming touch doesn't work on demons for now.
>>
>>34342903
>Also why are the Paladins of Konig still here?
Because a lot of those Heroes are paladins of Konig.

>>34342903

shouldnt we plane shift ourselves to escape?

>>
You do nothing as the Paladin of Konig approaches the Demon Lord known as the Sorcerer, raises his sword over head, glowing with the divine might of Konig, and brings it down hard.

“I beg of you, anything you want, nnoooo-” The demon lords pleas are cut off abruptly.

You board the airship with the rest of the Heroes, the Fivefold Death of Cities strapped to the bottom of the ship.

As the airship rises to leave the Island behind, you direct them down towards the water. You load the unconscious, but still breathing body of the demon-dragon onto the airship, it takes up much of the hold.

Alzurad is on the bridge. He turns to greet you as you enter “Well” he says “Sireyi Valyenya, our newest comrade” and shakes you warmly by the hand, “What now?”

>Now we have one last Demon Lord to kill
>That’s enough for one day, we’re going back home (use Mass Planeshift to try and take the ship and everything on it with you)

>>34343128
>Now we have one last Demon Lord to kill
