Decisions are made by vote. Each vote has a ten minute interval, after which, the option that receives the most votes it the one that is chosen.

There are no write-ins unless explicitly stated

Some options require rolls. In that event, rolls will be out of 100. Whether rolls succeed or fail is decided by the first three rolls. If one passes, then you succeed regardless of the other two. Rolls will really only occur during training, or when trying something new.
All decisions are final. If you regret voting for something, too bad. Think carefully before you make decisions.

Try to keep waifu bullshit to a minimum.

With that, you turn and make your way to the stairs, pausing at the top.

"I missed you, dad," you say before going to look for your mother and younger brother.

Climbing down to the first floor, you search until you find Sonyo in a bedroom you assume to be his, sitting upright in his bed and looking your way as you walk through the door. He grins and comes running over to you.

"Shin!" he yells excitedly. "You're home! How was the capital? Did you meet the Queen? Was she really evil? Oh, did you fight her? Did you explore the palace? Did you see Ren, Galda, and Felna? They left the day after you did."

"She's in her room, I think," he tells you. "Come on, I'll show you."

You step out of the room and Sonyo quickly runs past you, going to the room across from his and knocking on the door. A few moments later, the door opens to reveal your mother. She begins to ask Sonyo what he wants when she sees you. Sonyo wisely moves out of the way before she runs over and hugs you tightly.

"Shin, I'm so happy you're home," she tells you. "I missed you so much."

Deciding that it's better to tell her sooner, rather than later, you explain to your mother all that happened on your trip; the people you met, the places you saw, the battles you fought, the scars you received. As you tell the tale, the blood drains from your mother's face. Sonyo, meanwhile, listens with obvious interest, hanging on your every word and eager to hear more, while your mother looks like she might be sick if it gets much worse.

When you finish the story, she hugs you again, bone crushingly tight this time, and you're not sure, but you think you hear her crying.

"Wait, so Ren was really the bad guy?" Sonyo asks. "That seems....just strange, he always acted so nice around here."

Your mother lets go of you and looks at him. "Well, apparently he was just a very good actor."

She looks back at you. "And you say it was your father that told the Queen you're the Avatar?"

She nods, her expression changing to one of quiet fury. She turns towards the stairs leading to the second floor, clenching her hands into fists, before turning to you and Sonyo.

"Boys, take a walk," she tells you. "I need to have a little chat with your father."

"Uh...mom, what are you going to do?" Sonyo asks.

"Sonyo? Where should you be?" your mom asks.

"Outside?" Sonyo guesses.

"Outside," your mother confirms.


Sonyo slowly backs away then makes his way outside.

"I'm going to give your father a very hard reminder not to betray his family's trust," she tells you, starting towards the stairs.

There are a few things about this situation you aren't too thrilled about. First off, having your parents fight isn't something you particularly want. And second, given how powerful the two of them are, they could level half the settlement if they fight. Maybe you should do something to stop a fight from happening.

You take another look at your mother and see just how furious she is, and wonder if getting in her way is such a good idea.

You follow Sonyo into the building. Immediately, you hear shouting. Fortunately, you don't hear any screams of pain or crumbling walls, so things could be worse. As the two of you approach the stairs, you gradually see Sonyo look more and more afraid. Still, he presses on, and the two of you ascend to the second floor, where you find your father standing behind his desk, leaning over and yelling at your mother.

"My orders were to inform the Queen of EVERY development, Talga!" he shouts in her face.

"You sold out your son to the Queen," your mother spits back. "She wouldn't have known had you not said anything. Clearly, she didn't even believe you since she sent her guards to investigate. Telling her about Shin was a choice you made to further your own ambition."

"And what's wrong with that?" he asks. "I am the father of the Avatar, why shouldn't I receive recognition for that?"

"Because he wasn't ready for the world to know," your mom tells him. "He's only sixteen, and now that people know who he is, he's suddenly going to find himself carrying the weight of the world."

"He's the Avatar, it's his job," your father says dismissively.

"He is a kid!" your mom tells him. "And because of your selfishness, he's now going to bear a huge burden before he's ready."

"Enough," your father tells her, glancing in your direction. "I thought you sent the children outside."

"I did," your mom replies, looking back at you and Sonyo.

"Yet, here they are," your father mocks. "This is the difference between you and I, my dear wife. I am a man of authority, while you can't even control our kids. I lead our family through the wilderness and built this settlement. I've been in charge of it from the beginning, and you see fit to lecture me?"

He sits down. "I have work to do. Now leave, and don't presume to lecture me on things you know nothing about in the future. Do you understand?"

Your mother's face blanks for a moment, then she turns it to look at your-

Your father scowls, no longer looking afraid. "You are both making a terrible mistake. I am more than a match for both of you; going any further with this will lead only to pain. And, if you managed to win, or, spirits forbid, kill me, the Queen's wrath will fall upon you. Surely you realize attacking a governor is a major crime."

Your mother sighs and walks over to you, placing a hand on your shoulder.

"Shin, let it go," she says. "He's more trouble than he's worth."

She passes you and calmly walks down the stairs. The fight appears to have been prevented, but you don't like your father's attitude. You remember the Queen pretty much telling you that she didn't completely trust him, and now you think you understand why; power may have gone to his head.

Your father approaches his desk and takes a seat, staring at you. "I told you to leave. Be a good boy and follow your mother so I can work in peace."

With that, you leave your father alone and go downstairs, finding your mother waiting at the bottom.

"It might be best if the two of us leave the house for the time being," she tells you. "I'm going to go check on Sonyo. You are free to do as you wish."

While your mother leaves to find Sonyo, you take a different path, cutting through the settlement and passing the walls. You come around to the lake, where you find Galda sitting in the sand, Bulo sitting next to her as they watch Felna practice her Firebending.

Felna swings her right leg in an outside-crescent kick, creating an arc of flame from her right foot that shoots over the lake, evaporating after several feet. She brings her right foot down, then leaps into the air, flipping and bringing her heel down, shooting flames from her foot as she does so, sending another arc of fire over the lake. Landing in a crouch, she jumps forward, firing blasts rapidly from her fists before landing with her right foot forward. Taking a deep breath, she pulls both of her hands back and thrusts them forward, unleashing a massive jet of flame. After a few seconds, she lets the flames stop and turns towards Bulo and Galda. Seeing you behind them, she smiles.

"Hey, Shin!" she calls with a wave.

Galda and Bulo look back over their shoulders. Galda gives you a nod before turning back to her sister. Bulo points at you, then at the lake before turning back to Felna.

"Alright, Shin!" Bulo says, giving you a thumbs up and a stupid grin, prompting Felna to smack him upside the head.

Meanwhile, in the lake, a familiar looking fin emerges from beneath the surface, a shark head soon following as a massive creature approaches the shore. The Shark Turtle lets out a roar at seeing all of you, and quickly comes to the beach.

When confronted by the great beast, there is only thing you can possibly do. You boldly charge at the great monster, unarmed, and hug one of its massive legs.

It's massive head comes down, and it nuzzles you, licking your cheek. The Shark Turtle suddenly raises its head and roars towards the settlement.

Turning around, you see a pair of archers standing on the wall, and eight soldiers moving to surround you, Bulo, Galda, and Felna.

One soldier walks in front of the others, standing in front of you.

"Avatar Shin, by order of Governor Greto, you are under arrest for treason," he tells you. "We will now take you into custody. Please be advised that we have been authorized to use deadly force."

To emphasize this, the soldiers draw their weapons, and the arches knock arrows, pulling them back and preparing to fire.

"Please, come quietly," the soldier says.

Galda instinctively draws her daggers and gets into a fighting stance. Felna clenches her hands into fists and takes a deep breath. Bulo walks over to you and gets into a bending stance.

"Well bro," he says, "what should we do?"
