Few years back, Technical Sergeant Nakajima was on Mars, getting involved with a stupid fucking thing called a war. She was a stupid asshole back then, thought that getting shot at for cash was the thing to do. She was damn good at it, though. I won't say what this stupid bitch was, but if the words "SIDEWINDER SPECIAL OPS" mean anything to you, then maybe you'll get the gist of what I'm getting at.

Anyway, Technical Sergeant Nakajima dropped with the 77th Orbital Infantry Regiment at the pacification of Syrtis Major. Dropped in wearing a million dollar power suit, carrying a ten thousand dollar state-of-the-art combat electronics suit, with an MP-991 gauss SMG in one hand and a giant overblown ego in the other.

All of which counted for shit when her unit got overrun and she got taken prisoner.

The Reds wanted to do to her what they thought the Coalition was doing to them. Her comrades and superiors wrote her off. No one was going to help her.

No one except a bunch of damn dirty mutie shock troopers from the 109th. Six died getting her out of that hellhole.

Now, Tech Sergeant Nakajima is a fucking bitch, a goddamn drunk, and a stupid whore, but one thing she isn't is a buddyfucker. The muties did me a solid, this is payback.

There's a structural weakness in the armor at the nape of the neck below the helmet. That's why the chestplate covers that area, of course.

If you can't reach it, see if you can find a way to heat up their armor. The manufacturers took shortcuts on the cooling system, and they can't remove it easily, so if it gets hot enough they'll burn.

There's probably more too, but that's all I remember off the top of my head.

I hear that those crazy fucks on Europa are finally getting organized and trying to turn themselves into a real nation. I'm kind of skeptical about it actually getting anywhere (You imagine trying to get the kind of people that live in hardened underground bunkers when they already live in predator-infested near-freezing water under 12 Kilometers of granite-hard ice and own an average of 12 firearms per person to pay taxes and submit census forms), but SOMEONE just bought almost all of the old military hardware left over from when the South American Trade Pact was gearing up to get involved in the Titan petroleum crisis, and there are more than enough of the "Eccentric Multi-Trillionaire" type to cover the cost.

As much as the idea of the nuts who kept the Paul Revere Insurgency going long enough in the face of oribtal railgun strikes and power-armored "Anti-Insurgency" deathsqauds to negotiate a favorable out-migration deal getting their hands on even outdated Pact Hostile Environment gear and warships disturbs me, as far as I know the "New Sons of Liberty" and their lackey groups never got on the mutant hate bandwagon, and seemed to treat the few mutants involved in their cause pretty equally, so if you don't mind living on the venomous squid-shark infested crazy survivalist moon, it might be an option.

The problem with Europa isn't that they hate muties. They hate everybody who isn't a Ropan: mutie, gene-clear alike.

Not a good place to go if you're running from one group of xenophobes into another.
