"So..." you turn to Luciana, "...what do you want to do when we get to the city?" you ask.

While you're used to Marianne's routine, she's not exactly with you at the moment and you're not sure if Luciana wants to do all of the same things.

"Well," Luciana replies, "I was actually just going to go along with whatever Marianne wanted to do. It's been a long time since I was able to just casually spend a day in the city like this, and I don't really know where anything is."
"...oh," you sigh.

Great, now you're at a complete loss as to what to do.

"Perhaps we could all have lunch at a nice restaurant, though?" Luciana says, noticing your slight discomfort. "And Marianne told me about what happened to your art supplies, so you probably want to replace those..."
"Yeah, I might as well," you reply.
"Oh, and we should bring something back for Marianne!" she says, clapping her hands together. "There's that one bakery she's always going on about, we can stop by there before we head back!"
"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing," you nod.

"Oh?" Luciana turns to you. "Aren't you the generous one..."
"The King gave me, uh... 'a little extra' to take care of the day's expenses," you say, showing her the sack of coins.
"Oh... oh my," Luciana says, her eyes growing wide as she looks at the coins.
"Not that we needed to worry about paying for anything to begin with, but yeah," you shrug.

"I am ready whenever you are, Pri- er, Violette," Takamaru replies, clearing his throat."
"Okay then!" Nicolette snaps her fingers. "Everyone get inside so we can go!"

Nicolette walks over to the carriage and opens the door before you can get to it, hopping in and helping Melanie inside before holding the door open for you to do the same for Luciana. Once everyone else is seated, Takamaru takes a spot on Luciana's other side and closes the door behind him.

A short while after you've all gotten comfortable, Nicolette taps on the wall and tells the driver that you're all set to go.

"What's up?" Nicolette turns to you. "Something wrong?"
"Nah," you shake your head. "I was just wondering if there was anything in particular that you two wanted to do while we were in the city."
"Good question," she replies. "I'm just coming along because a certain person decided that I would be, so I really didn't pay it any thought..." she says, turning to Melanie.

As Melanie whispers something in Nicolette's ears, her face gets redder and redder... you can't hear what she's saying, but it must be quite the thing to have her react like that. Or maybe it's because Nicolette's arm is currently sandwiched in between Melanie's breasts. Whatever it is, you're just happy that Luciana isn't -quite- as forward with you.

And then you notice that Takamaru is staring intently out the window, seemingly doing his best to not pay attention to what's going on in here.

Melanie's making bedroom eyes at Nicolette while taking full advantage of her ample bosom, and Luciana's making raunchy jokes the whole while... this is not a place for a purehearted boy such as yourself. And so, you follow Takamaru's example and focus your attention on the window before Luciana gets it in her head to subject you to the same treatment that Nicolette's getting.

Luckily, your attempt at keeping attention away from yourself is successful, and you make it to the city without further incident.

Not counting Nicolette, of course. By the time you make it out of the carriage, she's so lightheaded she can barely walk. And naturally, Melanie helps her regain her footing.

...she really seems to be enjoying this.

"Uh, sure," you reply.

Yeah, Melanie can be kind of really imposing when she wants to be.

Having gotten a pretty decent general grasp of the area thanks to your trips into town with Marianne, you lead the way to the art supply store. Aside from the noticeable increase in the number of guards posted along the streets, there isn't much of interest as you walk.

"It's not like I get much of anything other than sketchbooks and pencils from here," you reply. "And this is where Citrine gets Marius's stuff from too, so I guess it's a pretty high-quality store."
"Oh, really?" Luciana seems genuinely surprised. "Well I'm sorry for doubting your taste in establishments."
"I forgot how much of a snob you were, -Violette-," Nicolette teases.

Deciding to bypass any potential bickering between the two cousins, you walk past them and enter the store. Naturally, they chase right after you.

Nodding to the store attendant, you make your way past the counter and over to the shelves that contain the sketchbooks... and then you turn right back around since you're pretty sure that you see someone familiar.

Taking a good look at the person who's cashing out with the attendant, you see that it is indeed Citrine.
