The date is October 23rd, UC 0083... at least, you think it is. You are Commander Dominic O'Hara... right? That's still your name? Yes... you're pretty sure it is. What were you doing just now?

Oh, that's right. You were visiting Rossweisse, and you suppose you must have fallen asleep at her bedside. Huh, so that would explain how you managed to find yourself in the middle of a darkened forest all of a sudden. This must be a dream... or a nightmare? Yes, judging by the suffocating pressure and the dim red of the blood-tinted moonlight, this is probably a nightmare.

Looking around, you can see shadowy figures moving and shifting amidst the darkness of the trees, which themselves stand silhouetted in the red glow. Some are familiar enough to you: your teammates, your machines, your family. Others are more difficult to figure out, lying just outside the edge of your comprehension as if taunting you with only the briefest glimpses. Still more are amorphous, leaving only the fleeting impression of both their importance and the horror of the unknowable.

It's pretty obvious the moon is a colony burning up during reentry.

Walking into the forest will give us a premonition for the future probably.

And the forest of figures will probably let us increase our social links amongst the newtypes on our team.

So voting for the psychic premonition.
>Walk into the forest
>>
So apprently Char's talking about running Bright Quest soon. I honestly have just given it up for dead.
>>
>>34015143
The moon could also be the reflector array of the Solar System. That's potentially going to happen soon, we could be having premonitions of it.

Worried by the red light, which casts the deep shadows that seem to spawn the shades and images that swirl through the forest that surrounds you, it strikes you that something is very wrong with this whole place. Lifting your gaze to the heavens, you can now see what has filled your heart with such unnatural dread.

Against the blood-red sky is a familiar silhouette: the asteroid Axis has partially eclipsed the moon, and your forest is sitting in the middle of its umbra. The faded red glow of the moon behind it feeds the long shadows, but all around it are further signs that something is amiss. Aurora streamers of brilliant crimson and gold and purple wind across the entire sky above you, and shooting stars fall all around you. Each travels across the sky in an arc towards your left, and most quickly burn themselves out. But every so often you can feel a slight wave of pressure, and in those moments you know that somewhere one of the falling stars has come to Earth.

The shifting direction and intensity of light causes the shadows around you to split and swirl and dance to their own logic.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" you hear a voice. "I mean, in its own way."

Turning to look behind you, you find Carya standing amidst the shadows, while Catrina sits on what seems to be the silhouette of a rock. Both of them seem far more real to you, untwisted by the forces that have shaped the landscape around them... though the pale glow of their bare skin does seem "otherworldly".

>>
>>34015702
Possibly once we get the Slattern. Or whatever we call it post-development. I was fond of "Helianthus" as a proposed name. But yeah, that one requires a Newtype copilot, so it would be perfect for her.
>>
Huh, so it's Axis. That's interesting. The moon is in full lunar eclipse even with Axis occluding the light partially. Easily explained as magic. I'm thinking the tendrils being shat out by Axis indicate it's attacking the moon while the pieces falling to Earth is debris from Axis as the moon retaliates. Basically Zeon and the Federation are going to get into another pissing match.

We know this OOC, so it's moot.
>>
>>34015806
Yeah sunflower was a good name.
>>
>>34015806
Or call it the Lilum Jager.
>>
>>34015809
Or it could be the Axis Shock. Doesn't quite fit, since it's red instead of green, but that could be explained by someone else using the psycoframe other than Amuro. Like Dominic, perhaps.
>>
>>34015857
If we're going with Unicorn's explanation, then red light is the one of destruction (since the Unicorn's NT-D was in charge of the psycoframe) and the green light is the one of possibility (since Banagher).

So in this case, shit's going down. The falling stars are falling colonies, Axis is going to hit Earth, and everything in general is going to be fucked.
>>
>>34015467
"You could have picked a better spot for a date," you joke. Carya laughs a little to herself, but Catrina merely shrugs.

"You're running the show," she replies. "We're just guests."

"So is this a dream, or a premonition?"

Carya's laughter finally fades, and she shakes her head at you. "Neither. It's more like your subconscious mind."

"You're a powerful Newtype," Catrina adds, "but none of us can really see the future."

Carya walks over to you and grabs your hand. "Here, let me show you what I mean."

The sisters take you into the forest, until you reach a small clearing. Before you stand... the sisters. Or rather, what's left of them: the shades of the sisters are standing back to back as their bodies are chewed apart by bullets striking them from all sides. Their faces are twisted in agony and fury, and a fine mist of their blood and shattered bones hangs around them.

"Not a good day for us," Catrina observes. "But you see what's wrong with this being a premonition?"

You force yourself to stare at the grisly scene before you, until you're struck by a sudden realization.

"There's two of you," you reply. "Catrina has her own body.

"Exactly," Carya tells you. "It can't be literal, so from there the whole notion of it being the future kind of falls apart."

"Then what is it?"

"Your own worries," Catrina replies. "Specifically, fear of losing people you love. The others are all here too."

"Are you really here?" you ask them suddenly. "How do I know you aren't part of the dream?"

"You can't," Carya replies. "At least not until you wake up. But we've been here before, and you've been to our subconscious before. It's just that usually none of the three of us remember doing it."

"And remember," Catrina adds, "we're always with you Dom... and we always will be. So relax a little and just trust us for now, 'kay?"
(1/2)
>>
>>34015920
"I see," you reply, a little disappointed that you can't know for sure whether the sisters are really with you or not, but willing to take it on faith for the time. "So all this is probably symbolic? And we can't take it as literal..."

I'd guess so. Or that a not fully awakened Newtype was in charge of the machine. That's why Ridhe's Banshee and the Neo Zeong were glowing yellow.

If so, then the colors fit the "awakened" status of the pilot - red means that the Newtype isn't fully awakened, yellow that he's awakening to his potential, to green where the Newtype is fully capable of breaking the laws of physics. Also, they fit the color spectrum - from red through yellow to green.

Then again, it's possible we're putting way more thought into this than the authors themselves.

"You know," you observe casually, "we could actually have a literal threesome here, now that you both have bodies."

Catrina laughs, but Carya shakes her head. "Remember you're still sleeping by Rossweisse's bed. If you want to risk a wet dream, be our guest."

Catrina laughs even harder as you move through the forest towards some of the shifting shadows just beyond where you saw the sisters being eviscerated. One of them is a great, lumbering thing that stays just outside your reach, and eventually disappears into what appears to be an open grave dug into a low hillside. As you approach the grave, you feel the hair stand up on your neck, and your skin starts to burn and peel. With a cry of pain you stumble back and away from the grave, and into Carya's arms.

Suddenly, the burns are gone entirely, and the grave stands empty before you.

"Are you okay?" Catrina asks, worried about the pain she sensed.

"Yeah," you insist. "No clue what that was about."

"Nevermind that, look up there!" Catrina tells the two of you. High in the sky you see four balls of white light that rapidly fade and cool into a dull orange, then red, then finally a deep violet. The auroras flare up and slither across the sky, resonating with the lights.

Just beyond the moon, you swear you can see Mars shining like a blood-red ruby, glittering with a malevolence that makes you shudder.

Then, as suddenly as you found yourself in the dream-world, you sit up next to Rossweisse's bed on the Albion. You're fully clothed again, too... well, that's everyone else's loss, you suppose.

"You okay?" Carya asks behind you, rising from her chair.

"Not funny," you mutter mutinously. Still, it does suggest you should find a way to check to see if you're really awake this time.

You search your person for animal crackers, but only come up with your service sidearm. Well, that'll have to do. You quickly eject the magazine and check the chamber: you carry in condition three aboard ship, so there's no round loaded in the chamber. Then, you open your mouth and give the slide a few probing bites. Each time your teeth meet solid, room-temperature metal: it tastes and smells like gun oil.

"Yup," you nod as you replace the magazine and return your sidearm to its holster, "that's real."

Suddenly, you're very much aware that Rossweisse is staring at you in confusion.

"... what?"

"I got hungry," you lie. "I'll probably have to settle for coffee. You feeling better? There's a meeting in a few minutes with Karen if you;re feeling up to it."

Rossweisse nods and sits up, only to find that she's not wearing anything from the waist up as the sheets fall around her thighs. With a slight blush she covers her chest with one arm, and pushes against your forehead with one hand.

"Out," she tells you with a grin.

You turn to leave her quarters. "Sure, see you there."

It'll be a few minutes before the meeting, so you have time to drop in on someone beforehand...

You know that Haman is down on the hangar deck, so you head there as well. She's the only combatant you haven't seen since bringing Rossweisse in, and you still haven't properly thanked her for her role in the whole ordeal. Along the way, you stop by the galley and grab a whole pot of coffee.

"Morning, Haman," you greet the red-haired Newtype as she handles some routine maintenance on the psycommu system you captured with her. You look her over, and see that her appearance has changed. Her hair is now long enough to tie into a proper chignon, which she's done, and she seems to be wearing a sleeveless shirt cut like a Zeon dress uniform over a skirt and stockings: all in black.

"Morning," she replies, pulling her arm back out of the open panel and leaning against the machine before sliding down to the deck. "How is Rossweisse?"

"Better," you reply. "At least good enough to get back in the game."

"That's good."

You sit down next to her and take a long pull at the lukewarm coffee before speaking. "I wanted to thank you for everything you did yesterday. You really pulled our asses out of the fire there."

Haman leans against your shoulder and snags the pot of coffee from your hand. "No big deal," she tells you. "I wish I could have helped Bate though. I can't believe those Zeon fools actually used nuclear weapons against us."

"They were desperate," you explain. "Conventions of warfare go out the window when you have your enemy cornered."

"I wonder if the civilians loyal to the Principality's ideals will react similarly?" Haman wonders aloud. "A few months ago, I might have done something similar."

"What changed your mind?"

Haman shrugs. "My kidnappers turned out to be the 'good guys'. That tends to shift one's worldview somewhat."

The two of you sit for a while and enjoy the terrible coffee before heading back up to the ready room. Karen, your fellow pilots, and the secretaries are already waiting for you.

Yeah, we're a bigger threat to the Federation than Amuro is at this point. We're not just an extremely powerful Newtype, we're also in charge of our own unit with little operational oversight. A fact that we have taken advantage of to recruit multiple Zeon defectors and steal a test subject from one of the Titans' Cyber-Newtype projects. I don't know how we haven't been court-martialed yet. I can only assume that Hearts is holding off on it for a dramatically appropriate moment.

"So," Karen begins as you sit, "you want the good news or the bad news?"

Haman squeezes in next to you on the couch, momentarily triumphant over the Sisters, who have been edged out. But since Rossweisse is sitting to your left already, Catrina instead slides over Haman to lay across the three of you, completely ignoring the situation.

Audrey raises an eyebrow at you, to which you can only shrug.

"Can't it ever be good news, bad news, good news?" you ask. "Like a news sandwich?"

"So like a shit sandwich," Audrey replies, "but like on really good sourdough?"

"Yeah, that'd work."

"Maybe," Karen replies thoughtfully. "Good news is the HLV was shot down by the Dendrobium a few hours ago."

"And the bad news is that the GP-02 might not have been on it," you continue.

Karen nods. "Yup. Gato being here raises the distinct possibility that the suit was never on the HLV, and was transferred somewhere along the way."

"So what do we do from here?" Audrey asks. "Or rather, what does the Federation expect us to do?"

"That's the good news," Reiko explains. "I got permission to spend a few days on site trying to puzzle it out before the Albion is redeployed."

"And we have the prisoners from Kinbareid and the Mad Angler," Karen reminds you, "including Gato himself."

"Gato's not going to say anything, in all likelihood," Catherine admits with a frown. "His type are die-hards. They'd literally rather eat a bullet than betray their precious ideals."

"My, your tune seems to have changed," Haman observes. "I'm sorry I doubted you at first."

"If they want forgiveness," Catherine replies tersely, "I'll find 'em a priest. So far as I'm concerned, Zeon betrayed me first."

Carya nods in agreement "Amen, sister."

"Halle-fucking-lujah," Catrina adds, bumping fists with Blitzen.

"So, Dominic," Karen continues, "I suppose you want to take point on this?"

There's something going on with the GP-02 and Axis. Wouldn't be surprised if it's on its way over there.
Or that someone over there will be targeting us specifically - and they'll go so far to drop a nuke on us.

I wouldn't actually tell them about the dreams, I'd try and find the locations we saw in it with our collection of maps. Primarily the forest and the small hill where we noticed the lumbering giant shadow.

Our best chance of actually finding out where they stashed the 02 is to let Gato go. Not necessarily LET him go, but make his escape appear legitimate in his mind. Lax security (basically putting Monsha on station) during a prisoner transfer between cells would give him the motivation to try and go AWOL.

We lowjack a corefighter with a laser relay set up to transmit sporadically in bursts to a satellite. Have the thing setting on the launch catapult so he comes out and instantly goes for the vehicle.
>>
>>34019200
I'm assuming that the new leaders of Axis and the Delaz Fleet will be more in touch now that Haman is here. And that they'd be willing to kill her at any cost, considering how in a way she's the rightful leader of Axis now that her dad's dead.

On the other hand, there's also the probability of them just nuking us because we own 4 Gundams. And that someone higher up leaked that info to them because we were digging around their secrets.
>>
>>34018981
>Sure, I'll take the ranking sub officer
In any case, try to find out who the spare pilot for the GP02 is at least.

A shame since I had a scenario in my mind of bringing a slice of cake along (Gato/gateau, y'know) and at some point Gato gets told "You can't have your cake and eat it too."
I can't seem to make it work though, so I went with another vote.
>>
I think you guys are over-estimating the importance of the dream.

Delaz probably don't even know that much about Axis' movement. And considering how long it takes to travel between the two, it's unlikely that they care too much.

Yes, there are 4 Gundams, but they don't know that. Heck most of the EF think we're in slightly modified GMs. You're forgetting our units are off the record, which is why we had to strong-arm Nina in the first place.

And Finally, no-one is going to give a shit about Haman. Enzo could pretty much say "No Haman was shot down by the evil Devil's Jester, this is just someone he claims is Haman. Kill him" and the Zeeks would follow him.
>>

"As much as I'd like to make interrogating that lot a group bonding exercise," you reply, "there are a few things I'd like to mull over. I have a couple of hunches I've got that might turn into leads."

"Newtypey stuff?" Reiko asks with an immediate interest. "That's gonna be so cool! I never get to see you guys solving problems up close. I'm always just watching a viewscreen, and it's so boring."

You simply nod in response. "Yup. It won't be much to look at, but you can watch."

"I'd be happy to help," Carya offers from Rossweisse's lap, immediately understanding your intent. "Besides, it's not like you can seduce Gato or something, so maybe we should let someone else try to interrogate him."

Karen nods. "Alright, we've got him in the holding room. Who wants to have a go at him?"

Haman raises her hand immediately. "I think I can soften him up. I'd appreciate it if you let me go first."

"Right," Karen replies. "You can go first."

Audrey nods. "I think then South should try it. Gato may respond better to someone older than any of us. A man, and someone who obviously fought in the war."

"Sure, I'll get him onboard."

Your group leaves the comfort of the ready room and heads down to a holding cell that has been hastily converted by the MPs into an interrogation room. Haman seems ready, but you're not entirely sure what she has planned.

I think KoH was implying that you're underestimating how devious the Zekes are.

Remember, Haman was the one that supplied the Delaz fleet with the Neue Ziel, and apparently Enzo made a gamble that might end up improving his faction's long-term production capabilities by moving to Mars.

At this point there's really no telling what might happen, and all we have to go on are the 'hunches' based on Dom's subconscious trying to tell him something.

"So what are you thinking?" you ask Haman. "How do you plan to get Gato to talk?"

"It's simple. I would never get him to talk, so I'll have to settle for hurting him," she explains. "And I know just how to do that. I'll crush him without even raising my voice, or lifting a finger. That will allow others with more patience and experience in these matters than I to exploit his weakness."

"Are you sure you can do that?" you ask. "Are you sure you want to?"

"Positive," she replies. "A murderous zealot deserves no quarter, and I won't hesitate to face such men if need be. In this case, it may be harsh, but it may also be better than handing him back over to the Federation."

True, there are plenty in the Federation intelligence community who would break a man's fingers to break his spirit. But coming from Haman... you can't help but sense that watching her allies fight their way through a nuclear minefield has hardened her towards anything she sees as a threat.

And right now, you reckon, she sees Zeon as such a threat.

Haman leans in and gives you a quick kiss on the cheek. "Don't concern yourself with me," she tells you. "I've seen the sort of villainous bastards we're up against. I don't intend to turn out like them."

Then, Haman steps into the room, and sits down in front of Gato. You can hear her voice through the glass, but not Gato's. You can, however, feel his anger building.

>"So, Anavel Gato. Do you know who I am?"

"I've been thinking," you tell the rest of your team. "There are three possibilities: that the Gundam was on the HLV and was destroyed, that it's hidden on land, or that it sank with the submarine."

>"Good, that means we can skip the introductions. Do you know why I'm here?"
>"... no, that's wrong, Gato. I'm just here to have a chat. That's all. So, I heard Nina talking earlier. Apparently you two were an item at one point?"

"The submarine was outbound from the river delta, and Gato ended up in Kinareid, meaning that searching the sub is a waste of time," Karen concludes.

"So that leaves Africa... and we only know it landed at the Zambezi river." Audrey adds.

"Reiko," Karen asks. "Could you bring us a map of the east coast of Africa?"

>"So what made you decide to abandon her like that? ... your 'ideals', you say? Well, let's see how well you did on that front, shall we? For one thing you used nuclear weapons in violation of the Antarctic treaty, which is a disaster for the Principality remnants' political position. The Federation's citizens are still well aware that nuclear war would lead to a repeat of the opening week of the War, and nobody wants that. So I'd say you owe Miss Purpleton an apology, if THAT is what you broke her heart to accomplish."

"Here," Reiko tells you as she spreads a map out across the table. "So where do you reckon it is?"

"That's harsh," you comment as you stare at the Selous game reserve on the map.

"It's true though," Catrina observes. "And it feels like Gato realizes it. Wonder how he knew?"

"Orville," Rossweisse reminds you.

"That's right, they had a mole on our ship who probably knew we had a Gundam," Karen nods. "But due to how poor communication must have been, they may not have known as much until AFTER Gato actually got to Kinbareid."

>"So, how does it feel, Gato? Knowing that the woman you loved and abandoned is with a man who you didn't even think to remember? He's just a teenager, too... but then again, I'm sure a nineteen-year-old boy would have plenty of energy, at least. Youthful enthusiasm must count for something in bed."

You can feel that Gato is enraged at the topic Haman raised, but at least part of his anger is aimed inward. At least a part of him realizes that he made this decision for himself, and that he could have stayed with Nina on the moon were it not for his 'ideals'.

"That dream," Carya asks you. "The one where the shadow fell into an open grave, and then you were burned... you think that could have symbolized the GP-02?"

An underground space, so maybe Jaburo? I remember that one of the editions of Gihren's Greed has a cutscene of the GP02 nuking Jaburo as its intro, so Hearts might be taking inspiration from that.

The Shadow. Did it have a distinct shape? Or was it an amorphous blob?

Did the Shadow appear to be stalking us or were we actively following it?

Gonna go with an absurd theory and let dice decide if it's plausible.

They pulled off a Judau and buried it beneath a pile of junk metal.
A random kid would probably accidentally fall into the cockpit at some point in the future too.

Otherwise, the only nearby UC relevant piece of land in Africa that may symbolize a hill is Kilimanjaro.
>>
>>34021937
We also got burned as we approached the grave it fell into.

I feel like that's significant, and I feel like the answer is just right there.
>>
>>34021999

>>
Rolled 98

>>34021937
Large and ponderous can mean any number of things. If it is vaguely humanoid we can assume it's a mobile suit of some sort. It could signify Gato's attempt at hiding it. The grave would mean it's buried while the hills/trees would signify a specific landmark to look for.

Could the trees or hills be an indication as to which direction to follow him? Do we know how far we followed the shadow in the dream?
>>
Okay. So we pursued a shadow to an open pit, the pit burned, and then it was gone. Which kind of sounds like what happened here. We pursued the GP02 to the Kinbareid mines, there was lots of fire in the form of nukes and launching rockets, and then we lost track of where it went. And in the dream, after the pit burned there were four balls of light in the sky that faded from white to orange to red to dull violet. What could those mean?
>>
Rolled 91

>>34022033
>the mines

A possible secondary exit or entrance? Most modern mines have another way in or out in case of emergency. They might have smuggled it out on rail carts.
>>
>>34022033
Where did the Zekes even get those nukes, again?
>>

Kinbareid mine is an open-pit strip mine.
>>
>>34022033
Ah, I think I know why we were burnt. It's booby-trapped. If we approach it the nuke is set to go off.
>>
>>34022018
Isn't Kilamanjaro a Titans base later on?

in b4 Zeon unwittingly handed it to the pre-Titans dudes.
>>
>>34022093
According to the narration, they retrieved it from the Iringa mine in Tanzania. Not sure what nuclear landmines were doing at Iringa, but that's where they got them from.
>>
>>34022147
Could be. What are the four balls of light, though?
>>

>>
>>34022121
>open pit strip mine

The Zekes still hid an HLV SOMEHOW. There's a shaft leading somewhere.

I'll propose my theory again that Gato pulled a Shiro Amada and found an underwater cave to hide the thing.

Speculation would go into greater and even more absurd lengths if left unchecked otherwise.
>>
>>34022283
That is true. And there was no water mentioned. So it's camo netted and hidden. It's on the surface and I'd wager it's nearby.

Have we inspected the shaft the HLV shot out of yet? I know we haven't done so in the thread, but on our off hour.

"The grave is most likely where it is, but then again, didn't you tell me it can't be taken too literally?"

"True," Carya admits. "We can't assume the place we saw has anything to do with the location of the GP-02. It burned you, though, remember? Your skin was peeling and everything."

"We also saw those nukes," Catrina reminds you. "That could be important."

"It could be hidden near the mine?" Karen offers. "It's possible we missed something."

Audrey shakes her head. "I doubt it, but Kinbareid is a good place to start assuming they had to hide it quickly."

"So, any luck?" Haman asks as she rejoins you. "Also, that felt way more cathartic than it had any right to."

"Scary," Catherine comments.

"No luck, really," you admit, "though we've narrowed the suspected spots it could have been buried to someplace underground. Likely a mine."

"There was an old mine at Kilimanjaro," Haman suggests. "Maybe it's there?"

"That's a good distance from Kinbareid," Carya points out. "But Haman does have a point: Kinbareid isn't the ONLY mine in Tanzania."

"So," Karen announces. "We canvass Kinbareid again to start off with, and work our way out from there, placing priority on checking Kilimajaro. Sound like a plan?"

>Yes

Look, either prophetic dreams are useless without the benefit on hindsight, trap you into following your destiny and realizing you have no free will, or are one of many possibilities, and are functionally useless.

I don't know why everybody wants to read into portents and such, we all know Destiny is a giant pile of shit.

I don't like this. It's almost too easy. Nothing is ever this easy. It's a trap. It has to be. The Phallus is here. There is no way Gato had the time to move the mobile suit all the way there and come back here to be captured.

They've almost certainly rigged the location where the Phallus is being kept under wraps with nuclear mines. Our skin was peeling and we were suffering catastrophic burns - which signifies radiation burns. "I think it's the best plan we've got," you sigh. "I'd like to check out the hills and plains around Kinbareid as well, just to be thorough."

"Okay, we can do that," Karen replies. "I'll inform Captain Synapse of our strategy."

"Hey, Commander," South greets you as he walks towards the door to Gato's room. "Hey, is he supposed to be crying?"

"Yes," Haman replied. "Don't mind it. He's just lamenting his shattered hopes and dreams."

As your team files out, you notice the Sisters and Rossweisse making motions at Haman with their hands, and trying to be sneaky about it. Playing along, you walk out into the hall, only to be tailed by Haman as you head towards your quarters.

Finally, as you reach for the door, Haman slides herself in front of you.

"Dominic?" she begins. "I've made up my mind."

"Oh? About what?"

"I think you know already," she tells you, grabbing your shirt with both hands and pulling you closer. "But here's the thing. I'm not going to ask if it's okay."

"... okay?"

Haman grins wickedly at you. "That's right. I'll get what I want, and you're going to give it to me. I don't want you to be okay with it, I want you to tell me that YOU want it."

She rises up on her toes and pulls irresistibly down on your collar, and kisses you... deeply, insistently, and sensually. After what feels like an eternity, she releases you.

"I look forward to hearing your response," she tells you before slipping away towards her own quarters.

Well, that certainly was new.

Honeslty I didn't really like the dream sequence that much, but having Haman go Queen Bitch and break Gato's spirit was fucking delicious.
>>
>>34023122
Will thank you op and no Team Secretary that make me sad.
>>
>>34023203
The dream sequence was a calculated risk. I wanted to try and give you some direction without the risk of accidentally giving you the solution to finding the GP-02. But you're more or less on the right track, and even though I feel it got a bit bogged down it did its job overall.

May or may not briefly visit someone else's subconscious at some point to draw a distinction. Depends on if enough people really decide that the first trip to dreamland sucked.
>>
>>34023373
It sorta seemed like Haman changed a lot in this thread.
>>
>Twins are kill

>Shadow Phallus disappear into a grave on a low hillside

>hair stands up on neck, skin peels and burns

>burns gone, grave empty

>four krogan balls of white light

Is the basic gist.

Depending on the size of the mine (stripe mines are fuckhuge), the 02 could easily be hidden right under feet or buried in the side of the mine itself.
>>
>>34023416
I think she realized how much she liked being forceful and dominating and is letting some of that come into her interactions with Dom. This is still Haman Karn we're dealing with, after all.
>>
>>34023483

>>
>>34023373

>>
>>34023503

>>
>>34023503
Oh, I think we're still going to be the mentor role. She's just going to be a bit more assertive. Think of it as the fantasy where the student seduces her teacher.
>>
>>34023503
I'm certain I don't. Oh well.
>>
>>34023454
I wonder if they disguised it as mining equipment. It worked in Bright Quest...
>>
>>34023416
This side of her always existed, and seeing her former faction nearly nuke the man she loves brought it out a little.

It's just that in this universe it seems like something she avoids until she needs to protect something she cares about or her sense of justice is offended. In this case, Gato managed to do both.
>>
>>34023594
So, KoH, will the girls in your fapfic have their own kinks or...? I already said what I imagine each'd be like, but I wanted to know what you thought.
>>
>>34023638
Amusingly enough, I always saw Haman as a sub.
>>
>>34023675
I am strangely okay with this.
>>
>>34023675
I was going to crop Haman's head on a 688, but then I couldn't stop laughing too much at my stupid joke.
>>
>>34023638
I've considered how each would view their relationship, and the personality quirks that could be relevant. But the point of doing the smut, at least from my perspective, would be to flesh out the characters involved in terms of their emotional connections. Physical intimacy is just one area where those connections are on prominent display.

Going so far as to introduce specific 'kinks' to that feels like it partially defeats that purpose in my mind, and if the focus is too heavily on that I might as well write some 40k smut or something instead. That's just kind of how I feel about it.
>>
>>34023736
I mean, she's always been attracted to strong men, people who are as good or arguably better than her in her chosen specialty. Plus, she got attracted to Dom after he beat the crap out of her, clearly a total M type.
>>
>>34023798
Fair enough.
>>
>>34023594
I more meant it seemed like she lost some of that eager puppy feeling, which was what I liked the most about her.
>>
>>34023831
Its clear to me now that in canon, Judau didn't spank her enough.
>>
>>34023871
She's probably still upset right now, and more than a little sexually frustrated. So she's swinging more towards the "evil dictator" side... or as far as she can without crossing some kind of mental line in the sand.

Hopefully, with enough exposure to Dominic, she'll stabilize somewhere between canon Haman and CDA Haman.
>>
>>34023373
>I wanted to try and give you some direction without the risk of accidentally giving you the solution to finding the GP-02.

But it's bullshit in the end, because it's set in stone that the Titans will be born one way or another. So you're just trying to make it long and painful.

Or setting up plot filler.
>>
>>34023981
Looks like we have to, then.
>>
>>34024064
Titans will come eventually. The Phallus simply sped up their implementation. I do think it is a little aggravating we're getting info through psychic teenage angst rather than good old boots on the ground investigative work.
>>
>>34024064
All the answers and potential solutions to the GP-02 problem are in play, as well as a lot of foreshadowing on how future events will play out. Every single thing mentioned in the dream sequence is relevant to one of those somehow.

It's up to you as players to put it all together in time. I look forward to seeing if you can do it or not.
>>
>>34024260
Wait, it's in a grave. Is there a boneyard around for discarded mining equipment? Equipment is left on-site all the time to rust and rot as it is uneconomical to break it down and transport it out.
>>
>>34024413
Samefagging.

I just had a thought. If the mine is still active, then the ore is being transported out for processing. The 02 could've hitched a ride on a train or truck while we were assaulting and escape in the confusion that followed the mines detonating.
