Wait a minute, I thought the Black Jack was a M26E1 instead of a M26E4.

As you and Miho make your way through the crowd, you try to get some idea of what's going on- but the banners and signs don't point towards anything in particular, mainly advertising various food stalls and the sorts of motivational phrases that you usually see plastered around schools.

And speaking of that- the school itself is huge! It reminds you more of a university campus, with gleaming marble and granite multi-story buildings arrayed around large quads and courtyards. Miho notices you staring around. "Anzio's a big school- they've got almost as many students as Saunders!" She explains. "Ooarai seems so small by comparison..."

You nod as you walk by a stall selling gelatto- "Hey, is there some sort of festival going on?" You ask the young girl.

She shakes her head. "Nope! Just dinner!" Holy crap, you think to yourself. "Oh hey! You aren't from around here? Bongiorno!" She says, nodding you to come over.

Give the Semovente 105 to Italian Jagdpanther-chan (front row, 2nd from the right) for starters.
Carpaccio gets the Semovente 75/46 (Meta: Make things an even match-up against Hippo team)
Pepperoni's tankette can be the distinctive one with the 20mm anti-tank gun. The 47mm seems to be to very rare (and unproven in battle).
Maybe 1 or 2 M15/42s for that manga continuity? The rest can remain unchanged from the series. And that's pretty much it.

The gelato girl points to a tip jar and coughs again. For once you're a bit embarassed- you reach into your pocket and pull out a few hundred yen to stuff in the jar, eliciting a polite smile and nod from the girl you almost stiffed.

There's actually a pretty long line for Pepperoni- she seems popular with the locals, which you're pretty sure is a good sign. As you saunter into line with Miho, you look across at her. "So, next time we go out oa date, what kind of food should we get?"

She smiles. "I was just kidding!" She says defensively raising her hands. "Italian is fine..." A few moments later. "I always prefered French though..."

You look sheepishly at Pepperoni for a second before you look over at Miho. You can come clean now or she can recognize you and know something is up. "Dammit..." You remark. "Figured we wouldn't get recognized over here..." You say, putting an arm around Miho. "Was hoping we'd get a nice quiet date without anything crazy going on..."

The crowd goes quiet except for the occasional hushed whisper as they begin to recognize you. Pepperoni looks at you and Miho. "I thought you were familiar, Commander Russells! You came here for a date?" She says. "Aha! Even our opponents know where the best food is!" She exclaims. "Come! come!" She says, urging the two of you to the front of the line.

She works in a frenzy of stirring and sauteing. "For you two, I'll make my specialty- Spaghetti Napolitan! Only the best for you two!" Within a few minutes she produces two platefuls of the stuff- from what you saw of the preparation, there are quite a few things that are most definately not Italian- mainly a good portion of Tobasco sauce.

As you and Miho, discovered as Anzio's next opponents sit down to eat, you really hope Yukari doesn't get found out- the last thing you need is that sort of frenzy being directed at you...

BJ Needs to be aware, from feedback in his threads, that his posting rate is a problem for the readership and impacts negatively on the quality of his Quest.
