You are Christopher Phillips, previously just another teenage nerd living in a small English town, and a lot of things have changed in your life since you died.

For instance, a month or so ago it would have been fairly ridiculous for you to be planning a party. You didn’t have enough friends to comprise ‘a party’; you didn’t even have enough acquaintances to comprise ‘a party’. And yet here you are. Forget the magic and the undeath and the godlike powers, this is the weirdest change to your life (or unlife) of late.

Between watching some anime with Masami and Jill and setting things up for the party, it’s fairly late in the afternoon, getting on for evening. You didn’t actually give Ajani and Gloria a time, but they’ll probably be expecting a text inviting them over or giving them a time to come over sometime soon.

Food and drinks you’ve sorted with a quick trip to the shops and clearing a table for bowls of snacks. You’ve got your laptop hooked up if you want some music. You’ve got the TV if you want to put something on to watch. But you still haven’t decided on one thing, which you probably should have decided earlier. What sort of party are you planning to throw?

[]Just a quiet night in with a few friends. Put something funny on TV, sit around eating crisps, laughing and relaxing.
[]Let’s have a bit more excitement than that. Come on, this is a celebration. Party games, cheering, stories of epic fights. Let’s invite everyone who’s in on the whole magic thing. (Except Avril.)
[]You have the whole house to yourself for a week. Make your first party one to *remember*. Have Isabella invite all of her network. Break open the alcohol. Put loud music on. Have fun.

Does this include vampire chick? Should probably not invite her. Otherwise, sure, yeah.
>>

>[]You have the whole house to yourself for a week. Make your first party one to *remember*. Have Isabella invite all of her network. Break open the alcohol. Put loud music on. Have fun.

Remember kids. The bigger the orgy, the better the orgy.

Magical orgy is go

[X]You have the whole house to yourself for a week. Make your first party one to *remember*. Have Isabella invite all of her network. Break open the alcohol. Put loud music on. Have fun.
No, this is the magical orgy option. Remember Isabella's network is made of her fuckbuddies and cultists.
>>
>>33587107
>[x]Just a quiet night in with a few friends. Put something funny on TV, sit around eating crisps, laughing and relaxing.
It's like people have completely forgotten the goddamn Hungers we get and how that fucks everything up.
Not to mention there are still threats out there that we need to deal with.
>>
>>33587188
>>33587253
>>33587350
We can't have sex all willy nilly, remember? We're permanently attached to anyone we have sex with. Forever.
>>
>>33587428
We can encourage an orgy to break out around us and sit and enjoy it while we screw a few chosen people. Plus we've already established that oral sex doesn't lead to Hungers.
>>
>>33587428
On top of that, the more people we have sex with, the stronger our Hungers become, and the more difficult they are to keep under control.
Like, we won't be able to think about anything other than sex if we get too many, which we're already pushing the limit as it is, and a pawn that can't do it's job because all it can think and do is fulfill its animalistic desires is a pawn that The Man doesn't need.
He can use Isabella just as easily as he can use us.
She's probably better at being a pawn than we are at this point.

>>33587493
>Plus we've already established that oral sex doesn't lead to Hungers.
No, we only realized that getting a blowjob from Louie didn't create a new Hunger.
It could be that we need penetration in a vagina for a Hunger to be created, or it could be that it only works with women. We were never told the particulars.
>>
>>33587493
>a few chosen people
And who are these people? I can't think of anyone in particular, other than maybe Isabella who it'd be a good idea to fuck.

>>33587589
>On top of that, the more people we have sex with, the stronger our Hungers become, and the more difficult they are to keep under control.
I don't think this is true? Can you remember where you saw it? It's not in the Skin at the very least.
>>
>>33587589
>We were never told the particulars.
((Quick Word of GM on this - Monsterhearts doesn't discriminate on stuff like that. If everyone at the table agrees it's sex, it's sex, regardless of stuff like genders of people involved, acts involved, etc. I put a GM fiat 'oral sex doesn't count for your Sex Move' rule in to keep a little bit of a limit on the rapid XP gain. That applies regardless of gender.))
>>
>>33587701
How does this effect lesbians?
>>
>>33587701
Can you also comment on
>the more people we have sex with, the stronger our Hungers become, and the more difficult they are to keep under control.
I remember that our Hungers got more pronounced after we had sex with Miranda, even after they were supposed to be tapped down by the soul bind with the Spring King.
>>
>>33587804
((Lesbians have many more options than just oral sex, you know. Besides, this is only relevant for the PC, to whom such concerns do not apply. NPC-on-NPC interactions, as for all games and systems, follow the rule 'Whatever suits the plot, happens.'

>>33587809
The more people you have sex with, the more Hungers you have, so the more opportunities you have for it to come up, but each individual Hunger isn't any stronger. The overall strength of your Hunger waxes and wanes depending on how regularly you sate them, what other important things are going on, how distracted you otherwise are, how turned on you are already, and various concerns of Plot.))
>>
>>33587980
>The overall strength of your Hunger waxes and wanes depending on how regularly you sate them
Does each Hunger have an individual level?
Like, when we examined our three Hungers before, could we tell that the one for Miranda was more sated than the one for Avril? Or that sating one reduced the levels of the others?
>>
>>33587980
>but each individual Hunger isn't any stronger
So there's no cumulative effect?
>>
>>33588042
((Honestly, the answer to this is 'I don't have things mapped out in that much fine detail'. There's no vast Hunger spreadsheet where every action makes one Hunger tick up slightly and another tick down. If you need to feed your Hungers, sating any of them will do.
>>33588076
Not directly. But any direct, immediate opportunity to feed any one of your Hungers is potentially distracting.))
>>
>>33587188
>>33587350

>>33587155
>>33587253

((Also, I really need to call a close to the vote already. Tiebreaker, anyone?))

Fine. I'd rather a livelier party than one which Cassandra could infiltrate more easily.
Or that would make other people like Jill and Masami more uncomfortable.
>>
>>33588420
>>33588422
((Cool. Writing now.))
>>
>>33588449
((Also, feel free to discuss more specific plans and ideas for the party as I work, it gives me more to base future posts on.))
>>
Issues/Party Junk/Discussion Points:

Esther seems like somebody we should cozy up to. Connections, power, etc. Probably our most useful potential ally.

Might be able to find an opportunity to see what Masami knows about Dagon/how to get in contact with him to tell him she doesn't want any.

Jason. The Corrupter is dead, but that doesn't mean he's no big deal.

Louie. Still doesn't have his pelt back.

James. Still a dick.

Cassandra. We kind of know that Cassandra's a murderer, and we kind of knew that before we said to the Ajani/Esther group that we didn't know anything? Or something to that effect? Anyway, we protected her (for some reason), now we aren't. How can we off her without risking the Ajani/Esther group finding out?

Also, is there a better name for the Ajani/Esther group?
>>
>>33588854
>James

Oh, right...it will be impossible to hook him up with Ajani now.
>>
>>33588906
Why?
>>
>>33588906
Eh, he was a crappy minion on the very few occasions we had any use for him. Fuck him. (Metaphorically.)
>>
>>33588992

Because after being locke din the same cell together for some time, I bet Ajani and Gloria have bonded too much.
>>
>>33588854
The issue with Dagon is the MASAMI has to tell him, of her own free will, that she wants to quit. Saying anything from us would be counterproductive because it could be seen as us unduly attempting to influence the decision. So trying to pry like that is a mistake and something we need to stay away from, especially since our boss said that if Dagon tells us to do something, technically we don't have to do it but it's in our best interests to do what we're told.

For Cassandra, binding her like Isabella did is the only choice she has; if she refuses, we feed her to the Hunters by saying that we found Annabelle's ghost who pointed us towards the real murderer.

We should also get Annabelle in our employ; she could search for Louie's pelt in James' house for us, and since we're clearly at school with James, we have an alibi.
This would have to be done before giving Cassandra the ultimatum and outing Annabelle's existence to the Hunters.
Though there is the chance that Gloria will try to out Annabelle to rest, and we can't have that.

And there's Zack to worry about. He might be in Cassandra's employ.
>>
>>33588992
Because Ajani is straight and he likely had sex with Gloria, since they were both naked under a blanket together.
Turning him gay when Gloria will be actively tempting him is going to be immensely hard.
>>
>>33589107
>>33589209
They were already fucking before:

>>28408578
>Esther shrugs. "They are attending at the same time. I am unaware if they have any relationship beyond their sexual one."
It's vague, but the implication is that they're fuckbuddies/not otherwise serious.

> Ajani is straight
Do we know this, or is it just assumed?
>>
>>33588995
The problem is that we promised.
With magic, breaking promises could be a very bad thing.
We need to tell him that it's just not going to work with Ajani because he enjoys sex with a vagina too much for buggery.
>>
>>33589258
I just assumed it, since if he was bi, James shouldn't be having so much trouble.
>>
>>33589337
>I just assumed it, since if he was bi, James shouldn't be having so much trouble.
James is a dickhead, though, so it's actually not surprising that he would fail to attract Ajani.
>>
>>33589363
True.
But I thought Ajani showed no interest in Chris when we tried to bring up the possibility of a gay relationship.
>>
>>33588449
Let’s be a little ambitious here. You send a text to Ajani and Gloria, and follow up by inviting Louie, Esther, Isabella and Zack as well. Zack gets back to you fairly quickly to apologise - he says he already has plans to go out drinking with the rest of the rugby team - but the others are all on their way.

The dining room table has folding-out sides for extra guests - you get it set up for as many people as possible, and set up the spare chairs. You have plenty of food, and it won’t go noticeably less far between 9 people than between 6 or 7. Ajani and Gloria arrive just as you finish rearranging the bowls of crisps, giving Masami a smile and a wave - apparently they at least recognise her as Louie’s date from the dance a few days ago - and set to almost interrogating you about the final battle (in a friendly fashion. Mostly.) They’re suitably impressed when you fetch the sai from your room, spending a little while admiring its craftsmanship in complicated terms. In some ways they’re just a different kind of geek. Esther arrives in the meantime, and you’re able to foist off some of the explaining onto her, since Esther was there for at least the early part of the fight.

Louie looks slightly sheepish when he arrived - and you see why in a moment: James has invited himself along with Louie, and gives you a vulpine grin as he sweeps inside, ignoring your frown. Louie scurries off to sit with Masami and talk quietly to her as James sprawls on your sofa and starts sampling the snacks.

Isabella is the last to arrive, and surveys the gathered company with an expert eye.

‘Not a bad mix’, her voice whispers in your mind. ‘Anything specific you want my help with, or do you have everything in hand already?’
>>
>>33590331
>Maybe just to spice things up. Masami likes a show, and Louie is easy to play with.

Go get him, gurrl.
>>
>>33590408
This is an excellent plan. Louie is so submissive it'll take barely any effort at all for Isabella to get him wrapped around her fingers. Possibly literally. Not quite as good as us bending the cute boy over and fucking him ourselves, but still fun.
>>
>>33590408
>>33590584
((Writing. We'll probably have to finish either after this post or the next one, depending on how long this takes to write; it's getting really late and I have to be up early tomorrow.))
>>
>>33590408
>>33590584
Dammit, are you intentionally trying to piss off Esther or do you not know what you're doing?
>>
>>33591015

Hey, now, only Masami can claim any romantic/sexual interest on Louie. And since she likes watching,I think she'd be fine with it.
>>
>>33591067
Esther treats Louie as someone to be protected, like a little brother.
And you think having him be sexually put on display in front of Jill, Ajani, Gloria, and fucking JAMES is something that Esther would be comfortable with?
>>
>>33591429

Now now, it's just some light teasing. And if they go farther than that, then they can go use one of the rooms in the house.

You should also have suggested something better; I had no idea of what do write in.
>>
>>33591717
I was unable to post.
But that doesn't excuse posting something blatantly stupid.

We've already been criticized twice for thinking with our dick rather than our head; this will make it the third time.
>>
>>33591717
So, instead of suggesting that Isabella take care of entertainment, you thought that suggesting she sexually molest Louie in public was a better idea.
Maybe not posting would be a better alternative to shitposting.
>>
>>33591808
>molest

No. Just flirt and make him red.

Maybe take him and Masami and go have fun in one of the rooms.
>>
>>33592100
There's no indication that it's going to stop at flirting, and Masami doesn't know that Isabella is our minion, so how else is she to take this except as Isabella trying to take Louie from her?
>>
>>33592222
Not everyone is as socially incompetent as you.
>>
>>33590900
‘Well, actually... you might be able to spice things up a little, get the party moving. Masami likes a show, and Louie is fun to tease. See if you can put a spark or two into the atmosphere.’

Isabella casts you the mental equivalent of a Cheshire-Cat grin, sauntering over to where Louie is sitting and hopping up onto the arm of his chair.

“Well, hello there. Aren’t you a cute one?” You catch her subtly casting a raised eyebrow at Masami. Masami glances over at you, and you give a quick nod. Masami returns an equally subtle nod and wink back, before Isabella proceeds to gently ruffle Louie’s hair, casting her other arm around his shoulders. “I bet you’re a real ladykiller, huh?”

“I, uh, I mean, I have a girlfriend, but I don’t, uh...” Louie gestures in Masami’s direction, giving her a confused look. She grins back at him. It’s not a particularly reassuring grin.

“Very nice,” Isabella nods approvingly. “Quite a catch, even for a cute boy like you. Want some tips?”

“Uh... I guess. What sort of tips?”

Isabella leans in and whispers in his ear. Louie blushes and stammers a little. You can see Masami leaning in, watching his face carefully with a smile playing across her lips. Isabella whispers something else, and Masami grins widely. Louie’s eyes flick towards you, and he goes bright red. He’s stopped stammering. Hopefully Isabella hasn’t shorted his brain out completely.

You’re not sure if anyone else is really paying attention to this as you step into the dining room. James seems to have moved in here to chat to Ajani and Gloria, asking them about the battles with carefully pitched interest. Gloria is declaiming some grand story of heroism. From Ajani and James’ patient and slightly fixed expressions, you suspect that she’s exaggerating and they know it. And Jill is...

Hang on, where’s Jill gone? Damn it. Not this again. It's probably nothing, she's probably just upstairs, but still. Damn it.
>>
>>33592512
((Yeah, that did indeed take way too long. Sorry, guys, but I really need to get some sleep, I'm up at 7 tomorrow. Good night, thank you all for playing, I'll see you next Tuesday. Questions, comments, etc below.))
>>
>>33592597
Where's Esther?
>>
>>33592713
((Ah, dammit. She's still at the table with Ajani, Gloria and now James, listening to Gloria's dubious story.))
>>
>>33592751
So she's not seeing what Isabella is doing.
>>
>>33592597
only just woke up and caught up, thanks for the thread

>>33592512
>Hang on, where’s Jill gone? Damn it. Not this again. It's probably nothing, she's probably just upstairs, but still. Damn it.
we need to bring her back down and spend some time with her having fun
>>
Isabella is best girl

Any chance you could start rujning earlier or maybe more frequent?
One thread a week just feels soooooooo slow, especially when they're so short.
>>
You know, I'm not sure we have the right gender mix for a good orgy. (Not to mention the prudes like Gloria, but we've got enough magical tricks to make her come around. Pun intended.)

Let's see
Chris: male, bi
Jill: female, bi
Isabella: female, almost certainly bi (she ran a sex and hedonism cult, remember, she's experimented with everything)
Louie: male, bi
Esther: female, unknown
James: male, gay (also kind of a dick)
Masami: female, bi (I think?), mostly a voyeur
Ajani: male, straight (maybe bi)
Gloria: female, straight (almost certainly - seems like a fairly Old Testament angel)

Actually, looking at the list... might work out, might not. Might end up with a few threesomes forming. (And god knows what, if anything, Esther is into.)
>>
>>33597644
((Unfortunately I just don't have as many free evenings to run on as I used to. I do try to start earlier and run later - short threads aren't something I prefer either - but RL and medical issues get in the way a lot of the time.))
>>
>>33600900
I don't really see the need for a full orgy. Let's all just have fun and maybe some people will fuck.
>>
>>33600900
Not everyone has to participate in full. Actually it is much more likely and more comfortable if they do not. The orgy Chris would personally participate would include Chris, Jill, Isabella, Masami and Louie. This would be a fun team and all the participants would enjoy themselves. Other than that, people could freely interact with each other (including people from the aforementioned list, since they do not have to commit all their time to one person/group)
>>
>>33605506
Indeed. Not all people in a group session need to be sexually compatible, the same way not all people at a normal party need to be socially compatible.
>>
>>33600900
>>33605506
>>33606277
"Hold on everybody. I've got some diagrams here that I need you to look at."

>Chris reveals a complex mess of circles and lines, with labels such as "is attracted to" and "would not mind sharing with."

"Now, as you can see here..."

>Everybody looks at Chris like he's retarded.
>>
>>33605506
Given how much of a douche James can be, I'd rather keep him out of Chris' activities.

It's unfortunate that we didn't find Annabelle before this party; we could have gotten her as a minion, and as her first mission, searched James' house for Louie's pelt.
