Stage 16: Taking the fight outside, out of them, and up to the next level.

You've regrown an arm.

As momentous an occasion as that should be, you're really not in the mood to enjoy it nearly as much as you should have. For one, all those sex-magic freaks are totally wrong about how 'sex-magic is the best magic' because you can't freakin' concentrate when the entire tectonic plate set Japan sits on has taken up residence in your body. Not to mention making sure you don't accidentally hurt yourself, your lover, or anyone nearby as you perform rites that have nothing to do with being a dragonette and everything to do with being the child of a god.

But mostly, magic shit happening is just damn distracting.

Which is why you're now in something of a panic because while you were doing magical crap, some asshole decided that now was a good time to make an assault on your hideout, while it was inside a Barrier. Whatever it was that slipped in while whomever was making the Barrier built it was planning that move. That could be any of four groups right now.

Er Yin has placed a robe over your shoulders, and you can hear shouts and screams outside, faintly; Akari is in absolutely no condition to fight; she's just had one of the most intense orgasms of her life, and she's magically exhausted as well.

So it comes down to trust and priorities. And probably putting on some clothes. Probably.

[] Leave Akari with Er Yin, have Er Yin stay in the house.
[] Have Er Yin follow you just outside where you can keep an eye on her and Akari.
[] Trust Yui and Kiku-chan to get Kiki into the house ASAP.
[] There's a window here, fuckin' use it, you dumb lizard.
[] Robe, shorts, sword, go. Trust Er Yin implicitly.

[X] There's a window here, fuckin' use it, you dumb lizard.
[X] Robe, shorts, sword, go. Trust Er Yin implicitly.

You slide your arms – which is a weird feeling, and not because you're not used to having an arm – into the robe and yank a pair of gym shorts out of ~Nowhere~. “Stay inside if you can. If something happens, let me know.” You literally hop into the shorts and then cover your eyes with your arm as you yank your wakizashi out of the same place, just before leaping through the window with a thunderous crash.

You'll have to apologize later for ruining the hard work that your niji-chan did, but it is kind of an emergency.

As your leap takes you almost a hundred feet from the house you have the moment to take stock of your body. To anyone else it wouldn't be enough time, but you're not just anybody – you're a Water dragonette, completely in tune with both body and the world around you, quick and clever. Your skin has taken on a distinct grey coloration, smooth and soft, still flesh, but there is a greater resilience to it, a tensile strength greater than before. Your left arm is quite a bit different.

Your hand is a sharply defined blue crystalline substance, glowing with power. The crystalline substance blends into your lower arm halfway up, but long, jagged cracks of the substance travel up higher, nearly to your shoulder. The glow is intense enough that looking at it can hurt the eyes a bit, the color distinctly edging into some eye-breaking properties. Your hair is also a LOT thicker, closer to the length that it takes when your Pearl is exposed, but much more wild. It's still the same color, which you are definitely grateful for.

There is also one further change, one you were not aware of inside the house: as you gaze at the scene before you, there is a faint aura of gold along each and every object, person, and even place you see. It is more intense in your right eye – the ruby colored one – than the left, and it seems to be an indicator of how destructive something can be. The reason you're assuming this is because out of the trio of people and the monster that are visible, Miko-Kiku is the brightest limned in that faint golden aura.

You suspect that it is NOT a measure of how dangerous something is, as you land in the grass and skid to a halt, because the twenty foot long mass of multi-legged chitin, fangs, and armor that turns to face you is probably a FUCKLOAD more dangerous than anything else here. Well, aside from you, of course. You may have your arm back, but the power that seemed to take its place is still present, in spades, and is no logner confined to that one limb. Your presence outside the house darkens the whole sky above you and makes the clouds roil.

Kiku-chan is injured, there is blood staining her pretty white miko's robes, but she isn't half dead or paralyzed or screaming in agony. She's between the mukade and Kiki, who has her hand pressed to the ripped robs, apparently stanching some of the bleeding. Yui is off to the other side, slamming on a pair of manifested drums with her taiko sticks, drawing up some lightning.

“Ryukusa! Be careful! It's possessed!”

Miko-Kiku's warning makes your heart go cold. Possession as Westerners think of it is a petty problem, something an exorcism can cope with. But for a youkai to be possessed....it is more akin to being ~owned~ by whatever has possessed it. Not a puppet, not a shell, but belonging spirit and flesh to whatever has taken command.

Which means it has the traits of whatever it is possessed by as well as its own nature.

[X] Barrier Combat.

You take the few seconds that the beast focuses on you to Grab your belt and whip it around your waist, so that you can at least move around without the whole thing flying around and exposing your breasts quite as much. Because, damn, it's chilly.

Miko-Kiku makes several swift, sharp gestures with one hand, places two fingers under her lips and exhales a jet of flame that bathes the creatures left side in fire. At the same time, Yui slams the drums once more and directs the lightnings she's gathered up at the beasts head from the right side, bolts of yellow light erupting from her taiko sticks violently for a few all too brief seconds.

The mukade youkai rears up, screeching with the voice of a thousand scorched insects. Their efforts have left it smoking and it's carapace and legs burned, but hardly hurt. “Yui, Kiku, get Kiki out of here!” The chances are too good that it's one or another faction that wants Kiki that sent this beast, and the fact that it's possessed only increases those chances. “I'll distract it!” You run directly at the beast, and make another leap, this time up and at it's head.

The beast rears back, but you Cleverly planned for that – whomever is controlling it has to see, unlike a real mukade youkai, and his reactions will be those of a sighted person, not the monster he's forcing to do his will. You step on the wide, flat head and push up and over. As you expected it turns, and you do as well, executing a half-pirouette midair, your tail lashing to help control your balance. You reach out with your right hand – the left holding your sword still – and grab the power in the sky, which booms loudly in response. The shock on the faces of your priestess, your slave, and your lover is gratifying in black and white starkness as the heavens disgorge a REAL lightning bolt directly into the beasts head from above yours.

You land another seventy feet away, towards the tree-line that makes the forest, and the beast is thrashing violently, the carapace on it's head cracked and gouts of blue-green ichor bubbling and sizzling. The winds and earth and waters pulse and flow through the world around you, your control over the power much more precise than previous times you've gained it.

The mukade youkai had fallen to the ground and is moving towards you like a massive freight train. A massive, poisonous, ANGRY freight train. Its maxillae spread wide, the two venom bearing ones even wider, dripping horrific looking black ichor that kills the grass for feet around each droplet. The nice thing about youkai is they're awfully BASIC sorts of creatures, and hurting them really attracts their attention!

You hold up the sheathed wakizashi, your pointer and thumb circling the sheath and the handle, your other fingers together and pointed up. “Save for cognac, the blade which cuts through everything! Zantetsuken, but not the name of my sword!”

You crouch and unsheathe the blade, the sound of the blade hissing through the air around you bringing the mukade up short. You feel your breastbone crack wide and your pearl is exposed to the world;p the grass before you is illuminated in shifting red and blue light. You drop the sheath of your weapon as your left hand shimmers, a ball of bright blue white energy surrounding it, and your hair shifts and floats in the air. You flip the blade up and around and you slice a horizontal gash just in front of your pearl, the three inch wide gap pulsing as the flesh and bone rearranges to frame the black iridescence of your living pearl....the colors shift and change, unlike any dragontte Pearl.

[X] One Hundred Kicks for One Hundred Legs

You explode into motion, flying across the grass with speeds that make the world seem like molasses. While it's carapace is like stone and iron, that doesn't mean it can't feel impacts THROUGH the armor.

You just have to hit it hard enough!

The creature surges forward, clearly intending to swallow you alive with it's maw gaping and the poisonous mandibles wide....you fail to oblige it as you instead flip yourself heels over head and smash it's maw into the ground. But you certainly do not stop there! That would be BORING!

You perform cartwheels, each segment of the massive beast getting struck with a fist, a palm, a heal, the ball of a foot, the smash of a tail! Each blow has the weight of your entire body and the force of all your training. Every time your left hand strikes, the glow leaves the chitin seared white and cracked, steam rising from the deep cold.

The creature thrashes and rears, and the latter part of it's body curls over, the stiffened rearmost legs like spears seeking to skewer you. Instead you leap off and away, darking over the beasts body and landing feet first against a tree, your tail half curling around it to hold you there. The mukade lifts the fore-body up and jerks forward, spattering black, smoking venom across the tree you are no longer standing against. You have to keep moving as the venom is spattered across each tree you land on, your reactions too fast for the beast to follow.

It definitely felt a number of those strikes – it is not moving nearly as swiftly and its body is squirming even when it is not moving after you. You land on the ground some thirty feet away, crouched, prepared....

[X] Seven Stars Sword!

Though it has the strengths of its possessor, the mukade youkai clearly doesn't suffer any of its weaknesses that you can determine. You're quite certain that deadly venom is demonic or alchemical in origin – Taisho Ryoga or a Kaga Sorcerer, most likely. The so-called Chinese Gods are a possibility, but to have managed to make this creature come here, it would take an intimate knowledge of this place – and to project a possession so powerfully, a potent seer.

Whomever has Jinyuu-onee-sama is the culprit.

Running in a semi-circle around the beast you wait until it rears up....and fling your sword at it, the blade singing straight and true through the air in an impossible manner. You leap over the beast, and catch the blade by the handle as the creature screeches in agony, the blade piercing armor, flesh, and organs. You circle around....and repeat the throw, leaping over the creature even as the blade flies straight and true. Blue-green ichor fountains out of the paired holes, and the third strike is equally successful, piercing through the lower body.

But the youkai isn't the one in charge, and whomever it is that is in charge is not entirely stupid. The creature charges forward and dives into the earth, burrowing into the earth. In seconds, far faster than is actually possible, it is deep within the earth.
>>
>>33425501
Spattering the ichor from your blade onto the ground, you kneel, placing a hand on the ground, trying to sense the youkai. The earth blocks most of your power, but you're still well trained, and this isn't the first burrowing monster you've dealt with. The instants before it bursts free of the ground below you, you leap up, whipping your sash off and your robe off.

The venom sprays up at you, and the creature shifts out of the way of it's own terrifying death....but you swirl your robe into a makeshift shield even as you whip the sash about your chest and breasts, with your tail, protecting your modesty and your life with the flamboyant style you possess. You sweep the venomous bile out of the air and arc over, landing too near the beast for you own good, flinging the ruined, smoking black silk away from you.

You're tired, but not exhausted, and you actually feel pretty good otherwise, though you're a lot less than dressed and WAY too close to the youkai!

[X] One Thousand Shattered Bones....

Immediate presence requires immediate assault; you have very limited options in defending yourself against the venom this close to its body. It's badly injured, but it's more spirit than flesh in the first place. If this doesn't kill it, you won't have any choice but to perform a final maneuver.

The very idea is frightening.

So the only choice is to not only to kill it, but to do so in a way that won't get you covered in spiritual ichor or let it poison the hell out of you.

You fling your sword high and far over the creature's back, the singing of the sword through the air high pitched and terrifying. The youkai doesn't follow it, mores the pity, but you did not expect it to. You leap, and draw back your right hand, focusing your Shen....a deep red glow erupts around your hand, fire lines sliding up your arm in a matching manner to those of your left. You land lightly on it's back and drive your palm into it's back....and force the Shen through your hand into it's armor.

Not just the place you struck....ALL of it's armor.
>>
>>33426053
Red cracks erupt across the entire body of the beast as it twists and tries to grasp at you, the venomous mandibles dripping death and spiritual monstrousness. You lightly cartwheel back, slowly, your tail-tip smacking it on the 'nose' and darting away before it can bite. You continue to move back as the lines of spiritual life force split and grow throughout. The damage you have done to it previously has taken a terrible toll, and the creature is unable to spray you with venom – self preservation overriding even the sorcerous domination.

The cracks have covered the creature's armor completely and then they fade, the mukade shivering slightly and pulling away from you. You hold out your glowing red hand, your bones red hot from within....and then clench your fist. You leap away as boiling water erupts from every joint, every cracked chitin, every opening in it's damaged body. Then black ichor erupts after and as you land lightly holding up your right hand, the creature screams, and collapses.

For an instant you see a shimmering piece of yellow paper appear upon the top of it's head, which bursts into flame; the chitin's reddish color fading to black and orange, natural colors. The creature is breathing a little, but clearly dying and no longer possessed.

[X] Sealed in Steel

It isn't fair that the creature which did not attack Akari should die because some other bastard got a bug up his ass (Kami forgive you, it's all but true) so you hold your naked blade up, hilt in right hand, blade supported in your crystalline left hand. You curl thumb and forefinger and frame the creature above the blade with the other fingers closed together and pointed up. “Felled by Ryuu Ryukusa, great cousin of Omukade, I bind you now to my service forever more.”

The mukade shimmers, turning into a thick blue-black smoke with glowing yellow eyes. It swirls into the air for a second, and then rushes up in and arc, drawing to your naked wakizashi. The blade takes on a smooth black color, polished and dark; the tsuba transforming to bear the kanji 'ku ma de' and the symbol for the great centipede. You feel a sense of contentment and peace settle into you, right before you go to one knee, supporting yourself with the blade as the invocation of Barrier Combat wears off.

You actually don't feel too bad. Drained, but not nearly to the point of exhaustion like last time. You still wouldn't want to try a final maneuver unless you had no other choice, but all in all, you could probably get into a fight and hold your own against someone with equal training. Your pearl slides back into your chest, and your eyes stop burning, and your hair shortens somewhat – not as much as it should, but enough that it's not going to trip you as you get back to the house.

[] Go back to the house, make sure everyone is okay.
[] Fetch your sheath – you probably don't want to be carrying a possessed weapon into a room consisting of ½ spiritualists, then go in.
[] Take just a moment, and catch your breath.
[] See if you can conceal the effects of the power of Horobi on the Barrier.
[] Survey the damage done, then go inside.

You take a slow, deep breath and calm yourself, soothing your racing heart and removing the adrenaline poisons from your blood. You touch the place on your chest where your pearl was exposed. It had to have been at least four inches across, much, much larger than it has any right to bee. That shifting patterning....totally not natural to dragonettes. Whomever was possessing the mukade youkai knows you've been up to stuff, but then again they probably already had a clue. Otherwise, why send a killing machine?

You walk slowly over to the disaster area that signifies your battle with the mukade and look around. Everywhere the venom touched, the trees, grass, and even the water you created during the fight is dead, blackened and crumbling slowly. The water is viscous and oily, and the trees – the entire tree – is dying as the spiritual venom eats into it. You have no idea what the repercussions of that are going to be, but it would probably be a good idea to either get one of the spiritualists to cleanse the area or leave as soon as possible.

You pick up your sheath – luckily far and away from either the blue-green blood of the mukade or any of that horrifying venom – and sheathe your newly possessed blade. It probably won't look any different outside of the Barrier, but it is still a youkai-inhabited weapon. Or would that make it a kami now? Another question for your religious ones.
>>
>>33427062
The churned up earth doesn't give you any way to determine where exactly the creature came from, but you do find one clue – a shimmering globe the side of your doubled fists, golden-yellow and warm. An egg. I was the same mukade for certain. You can't put it ~Nowhere~ as that would kill it instantly, but you could give it to someone. It's a spirit though, so it might not even exist outside the barrier. But you could bury it safely in the earth, where it still has a good chance of hatching. A glance at some of the nearby pools of venom suggest that's not a really good idea just right here.

You glance up at the sky, and see if you can conceal the darkening and roiling clouds that your presence seems to give any barrier – but the roiling becomes more intense and the darkened clouds become even darker. Well, THAT ain't working. You set the idea aside for now; but it's useful to know at least.

Of course, now you have to face the music. You turn towards the house....and see everyone has gathered outside, and they're speaking softly with one another. Even Akari – now dressed – and Kiku, dressed in a more simple boy's yukata. Er Yin's hand rests on Kiku's shoulder, while Akari and Yui are holding hands, and Kiki is watching, her expression concerned despite your obvious victory.

[] Take the egg back with you, and see what they're up to. Didn't you tell them to stay inside?
[] Take the egg somewhere cleaner, bury it and then go back.
[] Pray, destroy the egg, and call some rain – using your power, not Horobi – to dilute the venom.
[] This was the site of the battle – it is best to bury the egg here and then go back to the others.
[] Leave the egg exactly where it is, and head back, making sure the miko or the sorceress know about it.

[X] Take the egg back with you, and see what they're up to. Didn't you tell them to stay inside?
[X] Take the egg back, and call some rain – using your power, not Horobi – to dilute the venom.

The chances of you being able to cleanse the venom out completely are slim, but you CAN purify the area to an extent. You call upon your own Element, and a soft rain starts to fall. Surprisingly, it is no longer the bitterly cold rain you called last time, but a normal rain, the hot and cold aspects of your power in balance now. The rain feels good on your bare skin and you take a moment to enjoy the experience once more.

Picking up the mukade's egg, you gently dry it off as you let the rain fall upon the battlefield, hopefully lessening the terrible venom's effects.

“Hey, I thought I told you people to stay inside.” You dry yourself off, because it's still chilly elsewhere in the barrier and really you're wearing a pair of black gym shorts and a black sash with silver trim wrapped around your breasts several times. Not exactly high style, but pretty much you. “It was kind of dangerous out here.”

“Of course, so we had to make sure aniki was all right,” replies Yui immediately. Akari is leaning on her slightly, still looking pretty dazed after all.

Kiki steps closer and holds her hand out, then draws it back as Miko-Kiku takes a step forward to keep her from getting any closer to you. Her sleeves are down and her golden eyes are fixed on yours. Kiki-hime blushes and looks down. “Oh, um....did....did someone do anything to you? I mean....um....someone was possessing the mukade, did you see them? Ah....someone had to have been watching....” Halting and broken, the gist is obvious enough.
>>
>>33427697
“Nobody can stop me, you should know that by now! And anyways, even if they could, nobody would be able to keep me away from my family. Nobody would dare.” Er Yin, who is at the back of the group, smiles a little secretively, and probably would know just by looking whether or not you were possessed. That is if Void Eyes works for her. That's an interesting question too. You also notice a subtle relaxation in Akari – she's definitely shamming, and you almost didn't catch it. Scary niji-chan.

Miko-Kiku steps back and relaxes, tucking her hands in her sleeves and presumable the seals that she was holding into their pockets. “Baka-dragon, you could have gotten killed, or worse, fighting that. You should have just led it off and then run away again.”

Kiki runs forward and hugs you tightly, and buries her face in your neck. You drop your sword into ~Nowhere~ and hug her back, enjoying her warmth and her softness against you. You inhale the sakura scent of her and immediately feel much better than you did a moment ago.

[X] You know who I am, this stuff should be obvious, Kiki-hime!

Despite the strangeness of your relationship, it's really difficult not to reassure her when she's this scared for you. Well, closer to impossible. Honestly, you can't NOT reassure her, you admit to yourself, and you relax, letting the soft young dragonette start to cry against your shoulder and into your neck. You look at your lover's sister and carefully toss her the egg – she is used to dealing with spirits and she's the warmest of your loved ones – before you stroke Kiki-hime's hair gently, kissing her temple. “I will forever protect you. You said it yourself, Kiki-hime, that it was all of who I am.” You rub your sapphire horn against her wood-like one, and she shivers, sighing into your neck, her breathing immediately becoming slower, her sobs not so desperate.

“Did I not defeat the monster for you, Kiki-hime? She might not have been a dragon, but she was powerful and accursed....but I defeated the curse, and then trapped her within my sword, to serve as my weapon now, rather than simply killing her.” You hold her firmly to you, your tail gently winding around hers, and the tips twining immediately together. She half-giggles at your claim, and then pulls back, her sky blue eyes filled with tears, but you keep her close, letting her feel your calming presence, your cool steadiness.

“You....you didn't kill it?” She sounds curious and is still holding tight to you, but the question in her eyes is obvious enough. Why not?

With a smile you tilt your head, your hand still stroking her hair. “She was possessed, and you and Yui and Akari had met her before. It would have been cruel to let her die, when she was no longer possessed. So I bound her to me with the Barrier Techniques, and placed her in my sword rather than killing her or allowing her to die.”

You hear, more than see Akari sighing softly in relief, and Yui patting....um, really, thudding her on the back in reassurance. Kiki's eyes grow wide and she smiles brilliantly, surprising you. “Ryu-chan even protects the smiles of youkai girls.” Miko-Kiku holds up the egg, staring into it with wonder in her eyes. Er Yin strokes her hair slowly and smiles at no one in particular, though you suspect it's you that the smile is meant for.

Strange, but she is right. She steps forward as you contemplate that, and kisses you, instead. You kiss Kiki-hime back, and gently deepen the kiss, making it a soul-kiss, and she responds softly but warmly, giving what you demand from her. “H...hentai-dragon.” At her sister's soft admonition, largely brought about by the overly interested movements of your hand along her back and tail, Kiki-hime slowly she breaks the kiss, and shakes her head in wonder. Er Yin doesn't panic, which is also reassuring.

>Shen Rises.
>Jing Rises.

“Sadly, we have to leave this place. It is more than no longer safe here – as long as they have Jinyuu-onee-sama, we aren't going to be safe again.” You hug Kiki-hime again, and suspect you are going to have to take the fight to them now....

>>33428587
can we talk to the youkai?
>>
>>33428546
No, and no. A centipede youkai is essentially a creature of the earth, a monster that represents the presence of centipedes in Japan. By itself it is unintelligent, a simple monster, with a sort of awareness of itself as a spirit. Having it barrier trapped in the sword, however, empowers the sword with it's deadly, difficult to injure nature. you could release it, but it would be dying still - a sacrifice move on your part, but one that would not necessarily be a bad thing.

After all, you rescued her last child.
>>

>>
>>33428713

>>
>>33428596
You used martial arts and sword work to good effect.

Storm and Wind wouldn't bother a bug overly much, though there were ways it could be made to work. Razor Wit and Cold Heart would have attacked the possessing spirit, rather than the youkai, as the youkai was not ion control. The dangerous part was it could have easily led to being poisoned.

Ryukusa understands that fighting youkai is harder than fighting spirit-born - elemental techniques don't always work as well and of course, being bitten would have been bad. Hence the warnings.

Against other spirit-born (or oni) such warnings usually don't apply, largely because they're using spirit combat as well. Instead the options from the selective menu will be tailored towards hurting them effectively so no warnings would be necessary.

It's worth noting it would have been much HARDER to fight the unpossessed youkai - the mind that was possessing it made it act in human-like ways instead of on instinct.

Possession can take place through spiritual contamination (say by youkai venom, or a wound caused by a mystic dragon slaying weapon healing badly) or being caught up in a ghost's curse, or being struck by a seal crafted by a spiritualist.

Ryukusa is especially vulnerable when her Pearl is in disrepair or injured (which is true of any dragon-born). There is also the fact that she is a reincarnation of a kamuy. She can technically possess herself.

The collateral damage, on the other hand... Still, if we face a truely mighty opponent, we might have to resign ourselves to let "daddy" in control.
>>
>>33429235
self-bondage, probably
>>
>>33429120
>She can technically possess herself
How does that even work?
>>
>>33429196
In Japan, possession ends badly - period. Ryukusa would have no control over herself - and would very likely destroy all her sweetheart's lives as a result of being possessed, because she would still possess all her powers.

Of course, being possessed by Horobi is a different matter - it's happened twice so far, once ending in a triple murder, the second time nearly ending in disaster for Ryukusa.
>>
>>33424798
We were already in a barrier since we fucked akari. It HAD to be BC.
>>
>>33429291
Nevermind, I got it.
>>
>>33429270
If it was Horobi, that's one thing.

No, I'm talking about players saying it'll be fun to be possessed by the kami residing inside one of the Imperial Treasures.
You know, the ones that are a set with the dragon-slaying sword.
And giving them access to all of the power of Horobi and having our loved ones within easy range.
>>
>>33429222
>if Ryukusa has been a wood dragojn, and her powers of Destruction related to Aokigahara Forest, she would technically BE a living Ghosts Curse on the level of Sadako or Kayako
God fucking damn it, I still want this to happen. Praying to the Forest of Suicides sounds metal as fuck.
>>
>>33429303
>the second time nearly ending in disaster for Ryukusa.
Which one was that? I remember the triple murder being when we turned Anonimous into a red mist, but I don't remember the other one.
>>
>>33429334
what if we're possessed by one of our loved one?
>>
>>33428787
>Razor Wit and Cold Heart would have attacked the possessing spirit, rather than the youkai, as the youkai was not ion control. The dangerous part was it could have easily led to being poisoned.
Couldn't we have called the possessing spirit a faget from a safe distance?
>>
>>33429368

When he tried to have us "evolve" with Kiki.

Poor dragon only wants to be reunited with his beloved wife and concubines.
>>
>>33429387

Probably, but he wouldn't just have remained standing there while we trolled him.
>>
>>33429368
Wehn Er Yin stopped Kiki-hime from cracking Ryukusa's Pearl.

Horobi doesn't especially care about Ryukusa's suffering through such things, as >>33429402
notes.
>>
>>33429355
>Praying to the Forest of Suicides sounds metal as fuck.
More metal than that was if Ryukusa was a Void/Metal dragon. Then we would be praying to Manowar.
>>
>>33429387
Doubtful - safe distance means it could go after other prey. Like Akari, or Kiki, or Yui. Kiku wasn't strong enough to exorcise it, but she could apparently hold it off.
>>
>Ryukusa can technically possess herself
We have a new objective. Gentlemen, we must make plans to have Ryukusa waifu Ryukusa.
>>
>>33429402
>>33429450
So Horobi doesn't care about Ryukusa, he just wants to be reincarnated, and it would be easier for him to move in if the current occupant were to move out. Is that right?
>>
>>33429305
Correct me if I'm wrong, but BC us different from just fighting in a barrier. hence why it was an option.
>>
>>33429478
Not Babymetal?

Good night. Next thread unknown time.

Incidentally, in response to a comment on the QTG....yes, How Ryukusa acts and does things (even something like Binding a youkai to her sword instead of letting it die or killing it) influences how her loved ones see her.

She can definitely cause them to lose points and can definitely cause them to gain point. (Not killing the mukade was a big points for Akari, with a boost for Kiki and Kiku.)
>>
>>33429551
That would actually be Horobi possessing Ryukusa, at which point it becomes NTR.
Do you want to lose all of our waifu's?
>>
>>33429570

I don't think he's uncaring. More that he's unaware of his "host" limitations and desperately want to hug his girls.
>>
>>33429596
Technically all our waifus make up his waifu.
>>
>>33429578
Correct but it was a youkai. That's a big step up from fighting other spirit-born.
>>
>>33429580
Thanks for running!
>>
>>33429580
>Next thread unknown time.
Tch.
>>
>>33426411
What about the rest of her eggs? She had more than one last time
>>
>>33429633
>I don't think he's uncaring
No, he doesn't care.
See >>33429450
>Horobi doesn't especially care about Ryukusa's suffering through such things

>>33429637
Yes, and he wants to take them for himself, and is willing to see Ryukusa's mind gone so he can take over.
>>
>>33429673
see
>>33428819
>>
>>33429673
Already asked that question.
Answer is >>33428819
>Good question. You may never know.
>>
>>33429688
Horobi does care about Ryukusa and her lovers. He wanted us to be safely unmolested by Anonimous.

He just doesn't care if Ryukusa suffers through her gaining of power. Not quite the same as not caring.
>>
>>33429701
>>33429718
My bad. Just caught up with the thread and hadn't read the Q&A yet, but I wanted to ask that question before XS left.
>>
>>33429688

I think you're misreading that. He cares about his host body, considering he's supposed to inhabit it at some point, however if he can speed up things a bit he'll do it, even if it hurts a lot. Pain is transient, after all...
>>
>>33429688
>"....kind of....your sister....and Er Yin....they believe I am the reincarnation of Horobi.” Kiki-hime slowly scoots closer, and slowly placing her other hand on your other horn, and you gasp, the arc of fire between sex and head an inferno, yet your heart beats slowly and calmly. Your eyes flutter open for a second, then close as she uses her thumbs for those glorious, long, base to tip strokes. Your eyes focus on your wife, who seems to be doing well so far, and hasn't asked anything dangerous.

He definitely cares, he just doesn't care if she suffers.
>>
>>33429644
No, he was saying that just fighting in a barrier is Barrier Combat.
>>
>>33429971
Well the original question was why we chose BC rather than just fighting in the Barrier. I presumed we chose BC because it was a youkai which are inherently stronger than spirit-born even when not possessed like this one was and probably pretty resistant to normal attacks we could have used otherwise. After Kiki and Yui both torched it's head and it didn't care much I was pretty glad we chose Barrier Combat.
>>
>>33429120
Hmm, we should look after Kiku then, since she got hurt by it. Don't want any bad mojo lingering in her.
>>
>>33428819
could we search the area to see if we missed any eggs?
>>
Ok, so if I understand it correctly.
We are inherently water, we got wood from cracking the pearl with kiki and got fire later from kiku. and just got stone.
There was something said about next getting void in a way that AVOIDS getting destruction and turning into full demigod status

why would we do that?
I saw a mention of it coming with some of horobi's memories but.. ok, so what? we are still going to be ryukusa
>>
>>33433944
>why would we do that?
by that I mean, why would we avoid getting destruction and avoid getting full demigod status?
>>
>>33433944
Because more power lets us protect more smiles more effectively.
>>
>>33433979
>Because more power lets us protect more smiles more effectively.
that is the opposite of answering my question

The discussion at the end of the last thread was about ways we can AVOID getting more power.
it was about intentionally making ourselves weaker.

I was asking why the fuck would we do that
>>
>>33433969
Isn't the whole point of that that going full demigod risks going full Horobi and unleashing a wave of destruction with his re-birth.
>>
>>33434034
we need to and intend to unleash a wave of destruction anyways.
nobody said it has to be metaphorical or target humanity or target innocents.
We fully intent to create a clan war to bring down some of the most powerful gods around and then take out whomever survives that. Sounds like a wave of destruction to me. Its a classical case of prophecy of destruction "usher a new age of destruction" doesn't mean we are the destroyer, only the catalyst or even only a portent. We could very well instead be the salvation.
>>
>>33434132
I think the giant tsunami we see in our barrier implies that it is unlikely to be a carefully directed wave of destruction, and Horobi not caring about hurting Ryukuza leads me to believe he is unlikely to care about hurting anyone else who is not his waifu either.
>>
>>33434222
We aren't horobi though. we would become a demigod not a kamuyi
Not caring about hurting ryukuza to defend his beloveds makes sense if he viewes her as an avatar of his, since he didn't care about hurting himself to protect them
just like ryukuza doesn't care about hurting herself to protect them (see every previous fight until now)
Also, we know that the wave is there, we could control it and prevent a literal tsunami. And then unleash our metaphorical wave of destruction on our multitude of enemies which would be shaking the heavens (because we will be killing at least 2 gods)
>>
>>33434222
also, who said the tsunami outside the barrier we saw was caused by horobi?
Maybe it was caused by susano-oh, the god of storms who murdered horobi of out petty jealously?

... oh yea, susano-oh, another god we have to kill. damn this is turning into full blown god of war stuff.
