You are Momoko Nakajima, otherwise known as the "Cure Blade, Warrior of Justice" not like you're complaining about the title you got from one of the many fan groups that have cropped up ever since you got dragged into this whole mess. But you sort of got something like a little twin sister out of this. Said little twin sister is technically your evil clone, but she got better! Really! Even if she is foul mouthed, selfish, violent and stubborn she is a good person deep down inside!

She has been doing something lately, she calls it training but won't tell anyone about it. Worst of all she didn't care to tell anyone where or when she does it in case she needed a sparring partner! She tries hard, unfortunately she doesn't know how to ask for help.

Either way! You needed to talk to Lubu about your bracelet, last time it was acting up this much was Masako showed up. It, along with Misa, yelled at you that she was going to kill you if she saw you, hugs or not! Thankfully no one else can hear it's voice but the other Precure and that's a secret you'll keep from Masako~.

You step into the seal chamber and are immediately greeted by the sound of metal against stone and of glass shattering.

"Ooooh so this is where Masako was training." You mutter to yourself as your twin fights against an imaginary opponent with some attack you haven't seen before. She hasn't noticed you. Meanwhile Akari and Lubu are sitting on the super comfy couches.

[]Boldly announce yourself!
[]You really need to talk to Lubu, leave Masako for now.

I want Masako's attack to be a surprise for the others.

>You needed to talk to Lubu about your bracelet, last time it was acting up this much was Masako showed up. It, along with Misa, yelled at you that she was going to kill you if she saw you, hugs or not!

A paranoid voice in jewelry. Sounds rather like a certain ring we had. Is there something being left behind when the mirrors were made?

A haunted bracelet that only Precure can hear and that gives bad advice.

Sounds like a real keeper.
>>
>>33410438
To be fair to the bracelet, that wasn't bad advice. How was the bracelet supposed to know Masako would be reformed?
>>
>>33410243
So what would Masako's reaction to the bracelet be?

"Oh no, not another piece of body-jacking jewelry" or "You found my paranoia! I've been missing it dreadfully."
>>
>>33410561
yet another feeling of vague familiarity and distrust, just like the one we get from Mathilda.

The sooner we get her off her ass and actively doing something to figure out what the darksiders are up to, the better.

She's just going to be sitting here forever waiting on the next Mirror attack unless we start taking a few well-chosen risks.
>>
>>33410697
Well-chosen? Please. If we're going to take risks, we might as well bet the farm. It'll be more fun and the payout is higher.

Misa convinced Masako not too. Masako was ready to do so and backed off making plans for dealing with the Mirrors.

>[x]You really need to talk to Lubu, leave Masako for now.

Interrupting Masako seems like it would be a bad idea, she is way too focused and might hurt herself if she gets surprised! You make your way to the very comfy couches which Akari calls home. Now that you think about it she's been very good lately while learning and teaching magic to Hiyori and Sasaki, maybe Lubu will give her more freedom soon! Akari is reading a fashion magazine while the miniature bear looks through several pieces of paper with things you can't even begin to understand on them.

You pick up Lubu and hug him gently, he twitches in surprise for a moment before looking to you. "Ah! Momoko! What brings you here? I've been busy lately helping Masako with her sister problem." Oh right! Mirror Spear and Shield.

"My Bracelet has been acting out, she says that something big might be coming but I'm not sure why."

"She was always a sharp one, some things are building up in town a lot faster than they are supposed to." The bear says as Akari flips the page on her magazine once again. Your eyes are drawn to her.

"What? My brain has been working non-stop all week. I'm taking today off before I try to kill someone." She says before going back to reading an article about purses, actually you think that's one of your old magazines you brought here a few weeks back.

You clear your throat and turn to Lubu again, "Really? Like what?"

"Moms against Precure for one. The groups is somehow growing bigger even though everyone in town has a positive reaction to you girls." He shrugs, "But I'm not sure where to even begin investigating, I think thats a matter for you girls."

You gulp, have they really been getting bigger? You thought it was a small group of moms that were crazy about it. Everyone looks up to you four! and for some reason a really small group of people like Mirror blade and Mirror Axe a lot. It might be because they wear black.

"I'll ask around, I'm not sure how I'd convince them otherwise." You sigh, your bracelet isn't going to shut up anytime soon but she might as well tell you some things you've been missing. You hold your wrist up to your face and say to the piece of jewelry hanging there, "Alright, Yeah I know. I'll investigate."

You stand up and begin to watch Momoko train with her sword. Her strikes look more powerful in here than out in town.

Right then there was a really bright flash of light as you saw Masako:

[]Charge forward as fast as Michiko, strike an imaginary enemy with her sword and leaving a huge crystal formation behind that shatters after a few seconds.

[]Stab her sword into the ground and crystals entrap end envelop the imaginary enemy.

We're more of a speed build. And what's the use of a sword, if you aren't hitting someone with it instead of the ground?

Pretty sure Masako would agree that a fast strike with a dramatic finish is cooler than a ground-based gimmick.

Makes sense. She's a power build, so an attack against the ground that roots the opponent would leave them open to power strikes.

[x]Charge forward as fast as Michiko, strike an imaginary enemy with her sword and leaving a huge crystal formation behind that shatters after a few seconds.

Masako Gained: Mirror Crystal Crash

"I did it!" She yells out at the top of her lungs, "I finally figured it out!" She jumps in excitement and making her sword disappear. "I finally..." She turns around and spots you, she has tears of happiness beginning to roll down her cheek. You wave silently as she stares at you as if you had kicked a puppy. She turns back and say, "You didn't see anything Momoko."

Oh god, she's doing it again! She's so adorable when she pretends to be a completely stoic balance after she's found out doing something that wouldn't fit her image. You step forward and hug her from behind, "It' alright, I won't tell anyone. You did thisto save your sisters, right?"

"Yeah..." You know her enough to know that she is blushing right now, "Can you stop hugging me?" She tries to struggle out of your grasp and you let go. "I won't tell anyone about this but I'm pretty sure everyone already has a good idea that you act like this when you think no one is looking."

She grumbles something beneath her breath and and changes back into her school uniform, "What are you doing here anyways?"

You tell about how you felt something could begin to happen in town sometime soon and how it might be related to Moms Against PreCure.

"Those crazies again? Maybe I should tell them how I really feel about their stupid organization and how wrong they really are." She begins to walk towards the exit, "Maybe see how Amano is doing first."

Oh god, she really looks like she wants to do something stupid and hurt someone.

>[x]Stalk her

The two of you split at an intersection outside of school and as you enjoy the autumn afternoon sun you run around the block to stack Masako. At first it didn't look like she was heading anywhere in particular. She went browsing for a cute stuffed animal or two but she never bought anything. Thats weird of her, she should have enough money to buy whatever she wants. Well...Aomi did say she was in trouble at work. You look around for something to disguise yourself with and manage to find a pair of over-sized sunglasses and hat on the cheap. You hide your colorful hair under the hat and begin following your twin.

She takes out her phone and calls someone, you're a bit too far away to hear what the conversation is about but you definitely hear the name Amano. Interesting! You try your luck and follow a bit closer and surprisingly Masako doesn't notice! You pushed your luck a few times when your foot kicked a pebble and you had to hide inside a cardboard box and another time where you almost crashed into her when you tried to catch up to her after a corner and almost crashed into her. You kept running and waited for her at the next intersection, ready to follow.

Eventually after a lot of shadowing her you come across a park, one of several scattered throughout town. This one is particularly close to Amano's place. And you spot her sitting on a bench as she looks at her wristwatch.

As Masako sits down, you split from the main path and break some rather leafy branches and poke them into your hat. You walk up behind the bench though you are too far to actually listen to what they are saying. You crawl on the ground, hoping that your camouflage will hold. And then you hear it.

"You need help."

"Yeah...I need help."

Wait why? What is going on!?

ACtually, the plan was solid. She just went overboard.

One or two clones would have been far more effective than an army. Rep would have been ruined before we even knew what was happening.

Worse yet, Mirror Shield has "salted the earth" for that plan because it was a big thing. There ARE Masako lookalikes wandering around and this is part of police record now, so anything like that happens again and we'll probably be off the hook as long as we have a decent alibi.

It's possible she purposely sabotaged her own plan. She has to make evil plots due to Papa Juice, but she's fighting the influence by making them fail by being overly complex and wasteful. Really that's the only way I can see her as redeemable.

Exactly. She panicked and went overboard.

She's not leader material, never has been. She's just been shunted into that role because we defected.

Enter Masako, who has no qualms with forgetting about the talking and hopping straight to the part where shit gets done. Whether it's the most effective, safe, or smart way is left to hindsight.
