You are the PRODUCER, a former soldier hired to manage a group of teenage girls on their rise to stardom, assuming they don't get killed in the process!

Currently, you're greeting your old commanding officer from your time in the army. However, she looks quite... different from when you had last seen her. She was almost a full head shorter than you. In fact, in her current body, she didn't look any older than any of your idols, which sort of made things awkward in trying to deal with her.

You know, this brings up a good point:

Can the captain upload herself into a clone if she wanted to (for things totally not related to sex)?

I'd think it be a massive can of worms since some people think that clones should have rights and not be lobotomized for Uploading minds.
>>
Oh, and if the merc are hitting this place soon, then we need Sparky to wire this place up with claymores.

One obvious set that can be easily disabled, and another much more well hidden set to surprise them once they enter the kill zone.
>>
>>33368647
How about the 2nd trap activating if the first trap is disarmed?

But that only kills the person doing the disarming.

They will expect the place to be wired for mines. That's why we need to let them think that they disabled them. Until they die of claymores.

"Oh, right, I probably should have mentioned the cosmetic change." The Captain says dryly as she looks down at her own body.

Damn right you should have, you think, but you're too afraid to say it out loud.

"Any reason for the change?"

"Just comes with the job, I guess> " The Captain shrugs. "I'm doing a lot more work in urban settings. Having a younger looking body arouses less suspicion. Plus the smaller size means I'm more compact and can fit into tighter spaces."

Ah, always the pragmatist.

"Come on, we can talk more in my office." You say, motioning for her to follow you.

This was still so damn weird.

You sit on your end of the desk while the Captain takes a seat at the other end. It felt weird being the one behind the desk instead in front of it, even though the Captain wasn't really one to hang around in the office all day.

"Well, first things first." You say, clasping your hands together. "We're not taking any auditions."

"Okay." The Captain nods.

Damnit, now you remember how humorless she could be. Might as well cut straight to the point.

"Anyways, you said that you got into a bit of trouble earlier?" You say. "Something about Russian mercs?"

"Yes, I was investigating a weapons theft and I came across them. I was forced to engage them and I made my getaway."

"I'm more surprised at the fact any of them are still alive."

"There's only so much I can do on my own." The Captain's mouth curls into a slight smile. "After all, I had a good squad back in the day."

I just realized that genemods seem to be prohibitively expensive due to the lack of genemodded people we've seen in this quest (one deRosa idol could be modded). Someone invested a lot of money into Cole, and doesn't seem to mind losing their investment.

Way back in the quest, something Cole said really caught my attention:
>"Goddamn, something about schools just pisses me off." Cole spits. "Feels like a goddamn prisoner whenever I'm in there."

First, how would she know what it's like to be imprisoned? And second, is there something going on relating to "school"?
This implies a few things:
1. Cole could've been held in what she considered a prison.
2. She went to a "school" in the past (Black Ops Academy? School for Creating and Training Genemodded Soldiers? Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters?)

I thought that Cole got her powers from a natural born mutation than a genemod. Wouldn't people get genemods later in life than when she got hers so young?

Where Merc will take her? Assuming that he has anything other than putting her yet another quest and the Russian side plot that seems connected to Melissa and Morgan (which makes Captain a bit more redundant), probably that thing related to our songwriter regarding the maturity of full cyborgs.

And you don't get to write off my points because you don't like them and you want to hide behind "ooh let's see what the writer does". Even taking emotion into it they're all perfectly valid, and the fact that it's been WEEKS and I still think they're valid should tell you something about how bad of an idea it is.

>>33369395
Considering she had problems bathing herself, her being a lab rat seems like a good bet.

"Can you tell me more about these mercs?" You ask.

"Russians. Definitely veterans. I'm guessing Spetsnaz." The Captain says. "They're freelance, so they don't associate with any of the existing merc or private security companies. Basically work for the highest bidder."

"And you?" You raise an eyebrow. "Who are you working for these days?"

"You can say I'm freelance as well." The Captain shrugs. "Anyways, these mercs are led by this guy they call the Bear, as denoted from the fact that he painted a bear face on his armor. These guys are the real deal, milspec power armor, cybernetics, and the battlefield experience to know how to use it all."

"And what makes you think you'd be safe here?" You ask. "I mean, my girls can handle themselves and all, but they're not exact at the level of military black ops."

"Whatever they may be, discretion is one of their biggest strengths. Their group doesn't even have an official name. They just show up when you post a job offer. Either way, I don't think they'd risk drawing attention to themselves by hitting an idol company."

"You think." You narrow your eyes.

"I covered my tracks." The Captain gives you a hard stare. "I swapped to a previously unused body, destroyed anything they could use to trace me. They won't find us. I just need somewhere to lay low until the heat dies down."

"Uh uh." You nod. "And this weapon that they supposedly stole? What is that? And you never really told me exactly who you were working for."

>>

Genemods essentially alter your DNA to give your body properties or abilities not normally available to it. Think of it like plasmids from Bioshock or the genetic engineering stuff in XCOM Enemy Within. Currently, they're still a very new development so nobody is too sure what their limits are. However, the only currently street legal genemods are cosmetic changes only, while presumably the military is researching "practical" genemods.
>>
>>33369395
Perhaps we can figure out Cole's backstory through what we already know about the Tombs.
1. It's a brutal place where survival isn't assured unless you have connections, money or power.
2. Children are liabilities and are otherwise exploited (sexually, physically, emotionally, etc.)
3. Mercs have been known to kidnap people for Companies (cheap labour, experimentation, etc.)
4. Not officially considered a District. Possible location for secret labs? (Unlikely, since news of a girl wielding electricity right on their doorstep would raise flags)
5. The best way to survive is to find allies. 2 of our 3 Tomb girls have had allies at one point or another. Julie had that police officer, while Melissa was a part of a band of orphan as well as that arena manager looking after her. Those without allies are either brutes, survivors, or easy pickings.
Cole is an exception at the moment. We found her without friends or family, and she didn't seem very sociable; so something must have happened.
>>
>>33369574
Matches the description perfectly. If they are as strong as the Capt described them, then taking them down will be difficult.
>>
>>33369608
We should have Capt and Melissa talk to one another. Make sure this is the same group.
>>
>>33369447
>>33369583

Since children are exploited, it could be possible Cole's parents sold her to a Biotech firm for quick cash. Perhaps she held a grudge, escaped, and became the reason why she doesn't have any family or friends. Another guess is that at such a young age, she had no control over her powers. She'd hurt/kill those that tried to care for her, while the rest ran in fear.
>>
>>33369618
Not anytime soon.

She will try to go after them
>>
>>33369574
>>33369608
Wait, I just got an idea right now. We pretend to sell the Capt out and disable our security system so they can grab her and get out. When they are deep inside our base, we backstab them, leaving nothing to chance.
>>
>>33369652
Trying to hide this is more risker. We need to have a calm, mature talk with Melissa and assure her that taking down this group will be difficult and will take a while, so urge patience until we can get it done right and leave nothing to chance.
>>
>>33369655
If it weren't for Merc dice, it would work.

The Captain just stares at you, but you work up the resolve not to be intimidated by her. Not now. Not when your girls' lives were the concern here. She seems to stare at you for what seems like a very long time before she does something you never expect.

She starts LAUGHING.

Today was just full of surprises.

"Oh, Producer, you're so full of surprises." She chuckles, wiping an imaginary tear from her eye. "And here I thought you said you were afraid you weren't cut out for command!"

"Well, ending up being responsible for a bunch of teenage girls tends to change your outlook." You grin.

"Well, you certainly care about your subordinates, and I respect that." The Captain finally gets her laughter under control. "Well, like those Russian mercs, I mostly work freelance these days. Mostly for whatever government or intel agency needs my services. Occasionally, I'll take a job from a military contract, in this case Toha Heavy Industries."

You remember THI. They often specialized in developing high end, exotic weaponry. If something of theirs was stolen...

"They wouldn't give me too many details on the weapon that got stolen from them." The Captain shrugs. "But I was able to glean some intel. Apparently it's some kind of military vehicle. Small, fast, and HIGHLY advanced. It's in the prototype stage so it's the only existing model, and they want it back very badly."

"I see." You nod in understanding.

"You know..." The Captain look at you in the eye. "It may not be my place, but I could use some help in getting that weapon back from them. If you or your girls help me out, I could put in a good word for you at THI. I'll even throw in a favor, too."

Huh, well you could always use more sponsors, and a favor from the Captain was almost too good to be true, but these mercs sounded like serious business...

"Well, I can't say I'm not interested." You nod. "But in return, you're going to train my girls to be up to squad standard, if you expect them to take on those mercs."

"Of course." The Captain nods. "I think I can cook up an accelerated regimen for them. I'll rebuild them all from the ground up."

Oh dear, you've heard that sort of talk before from her. It wasn't going to be pretty.

"In fact," The Captain tilts her head, "I can also give the 'Deluxe Training Package' to one of your girls, if you so choose."

Oh boy. The DTP, also known as Hell amongst you and your squad, was the Captain's toughest training standard. It was grueling and difficult, but anybody that could make it through came out almost peerless in battle.

>The Captain can give one of your idols SPECIAL TRAINING. In return for some MORALE loss, the selected girl will gain significant boosts... if she can make the cut!

Melissa. I think the fact that these mercs are the ones she has been looking for will motivate her and mitigate the morale loss.

On the other hand, Rochelle can greatly benefit from it if she is going to make squad leader.

>>

>I know somebody who might be up for it... Melissa

She is the one who will hell bent on killing those mercs. She needs to be on top form because I think she won't stop till they are all dead by her hand.
>>
>>33370654
I agree, I don't want to play the odds that Cole would quit if we tried to push this on her.
>>
>>33370585
>I'll float the idea to them to see if they're interested.

The last thing we want to do is press-gang an idol into hell on earth when either a) she doesn't need it, and/or b)she can't make the cut. The morale loss is going to be hard to recover, and if she washes out I expect even more of a drop.

IF we have to throw one idol into the gauntlet sight unseen, my vote would be for Cole. But I still think we ought to ask if they want it before that.
>>

This.

>>
>>33370687

Cole also happens to actually have one of the best stats of our idols. All she needs is to believe in herself and thats where producer comes in. Even rochelle thinks so.
>>
>>33370700
Which is why I don't want to put any of them through it, Cole least of all. We're training child mercenaries that need to appeal to crowds, yes, but her training will just tear them apart. I guess if it absolutely SOMEONE it would be Melissa, since she's the toughest physically and mentally. But Cole? Absolutely not.
>>
>>33370767
Why does she have low confidence in the first place, fluffwise?
>>
>>33370808
The backstory that explains her genemod and the fact she was treated like a witch in the Tombs.

Cole does need training and maybe it should come from the Producer. She does trust him, after all. Maybe she'll start to open up.
>>
>>33370808

We've not looked into it yet. Partially may be that shes not used to being comfortable like this.

I think Julie or Melissa would be the best fits being the toughest and most combat minded of the idols.

Well, your first thoughts immediately go to either Melissa or Cole. However, this wasn't something you wanted to spring on them. You had to at least inform your girls of it first.

"It's tempting, but I have to see if my girls would be willing to subject themselves to that. I won't force them to take advanced training if they don't want to." You sigh.

"Understandable." The Captain nods.

"There's also another matter with one of my girls." You say. "She's had a run in with some Russian mercs in the past, and I have reason to believe that they're the same ones you're involved with. The description seems to match up."

"What kind of involvment are we talking here?"

"Revenge." You state.

"Ah." The Captain leans back in her seat. "So you're afraid that if we tell her about those mercs, she might do something stupid?"

"More or less." You admit.

"Well, it's your unit. It's up to you whether to tell her or not."

>Tell Melissa that you have a lead on those mercs.
>Don't tell her just yet.
>Other
>>
>>33370787
Also, the main reason I'm against the training is because the last time Merc "improved" a character it was done so terribly that I dropped the quest right then and there.
>>
>>33370900

It's better this way, otherwise she finds out some other way and runs off to pursue them.
>>

We have similar descriptions, but that's hardly conclusive. It's no problem to let her know that we haven't forgotten about it, but at the same time we shouldn't say "oh hey these are the fuckfaces you want to kill" only to storm the place and find out it's the wrong guys.
>>

the kicker: that thing was caused by anti-waifufagging.

That's right, instead of people thinking about team quality, they were solely concerned about waifuing and spiting the waifufags.

And it's there Merc's run of questionable dice luck reared its head.
>>
>>33371250
We'll, Merc deserves a lot of blame for it as well. He gave Falynn a TERRIBLE ability, and instead of saying "okay I made a mistake lets change it so it's not crippling" he has that big and elaborate scene where... uh, honestly Falynn should have been killed or at least captured. Then that's followed by the absolute shittiest example of someone "gaining confidence in the face of adversity" (which in Falynn's case is going absolutely bugfuck insane), where she proceeds to light a dude on fire and kill him in the most absolute deranged and unnecessary way she could. It was COMPLETELY out of character.

The kicker? Her new ability said she was "heroic". Fuck that. Nothing she did was heroic, it was psychotic.

At that point I decided I had enough of VMQ2's silliness and dropped it.

"Hey, you know, Stig just happened to end up here too. I bet he'd be thrilled to see you again."

"Oh... Stig..." The Captain pauses. You could swear she'd be sweating if her body were capable of it.

Oh, that's right. If there was one thing the Captain could possibly be afraid of, it was Stig's driving. It was actually pretty funny story-

"I-I guess we could say hi to him." The Captain sighed.

"Well, our engineer is also down there too, and she's a real prodigy." You boast. "I'm sure she'd love to see a working combat cyborg."

"I'm sure."

As the two of you make your way down the workshop, you decide to give Jenner a call. When she picks up, you can hear the telltale blast of extremely loud pop music in the background. It sounds like the performance had already started.

"Producer." Jenner says.

"Hey, Jenner, just checking in." You say. "How are things going on your end?"

"Well, Niko is up on stage right now and doing a good job. Morgan's on overwatch and Sparky is having a time out."

"A... time out?" You blink.

"I told her to secure the building, and she planted shaped charges on all of the supports, because apparently in her mind, collapsing the building after you exit it would make things secure."

Dang.

"Ha, I guess we're going to have to talk to her when she gets back, huh?"

"Obviously." Jenner sighs. "So how are things at the office."

"Oh, fine. Just reconnecting with my old CO. She'll be helping train the girls for a bit if we help her out with a job."

"Sounds interesting. We'll talk more when we get back." Jenner responds. "Until then, Producer."

"Your secretary?" The Captain asks.

"Hey! Stig!" You wave at your driver. "Guess who came by to visit!"

Stig turns to face you, but then cocks his head to the side curiously. You look to see that The Captain is no longer next to you. Instead, she's hiding behind you.

"Did Kirkuk really scar you that badly, Captain?" You chuckle.

"He did things I did not believe were possible with a wheeled vehicle." The Captain murmurs. "There's obviously something not natural about him."

Stig just shakes his head as if he were offended by the statement.

"Come on, Captain, it's not that bad. He's a perfectly capable driver."

"You're looking well, Stig." The Captain says, poking her head out from behind you. "How's the postwar life been treating you?"

Stig just shrugs.

"Still giving everybody the silent treatment, huh?"

Stig nods.

"He's a bit tough to talk to over the radio, but his skills have been invaluable to us." You say. "We also have a driving AI as well."

"Hello!" NEMO chimes from the SUV's speakers. "I'm NEMO! It's so very nice to meet you!"

"You've certainly rounded up an interesting outfit." The Captain says.

"OOOOOOOOOH!" You hear a girlish squeal and before you know it, you see your commanding officer getting accosted by Falynn, who had apparently somehow crossed the distance from her work table to the Captain in the blink of an eye.

"That's a custom fitted cyborg combat shell! One of a kind!" Falynn's eyes sparkle and you can swear you see drool running down her mouth. "WHO ARE YOU AND WHERE DID YOU GET THAT!?"

"Ah..." The Captain blinks, genuinely caught off guard.

You just stand back and watch the fireworks. Falynn continues poring over every inch of the Captain's artificial body, taking in every detail while the Captain just stands there, too confused and terrified to respond properly.

"Oh my goooood, it's actual synthetic skin! Not just colored hardshell!" Falynn squeaks as she grasps the Captain's hands. "And of course it comes with full sensory feedback, right? You can actually feel my hands touching yours?"

"Erm, yes-"

"COOL!" Falynn grins. "So what kinds of specs are you running? Military standard? Super high performance? Do you have hidden weaponry? Ooooooooh, this is just so awesome!"

To an outside observer, it would look like Falynn was molesting your commanding officer. In fact, that's what if looked like to you, as well. Funny was it was, you decided to intervene before either girl did something everybody would regret.

"Okay, Falynn, give her some space." You grab your engineer by the collar like a naughty cat and pull her away. "She is a person with emotions and feelings like you or I. Please respect those."

"S-sorry, Producer, I just got carried away." Falynn wipes some drool off her mouth. "But ohmygod I wanna pop all her access panels and see what's inside!"

That... sounded far more naughty than it should have.

"Only with her permission." You say. "And at the very least, you need to buy her dinner first."

Both Falynn and the Captain glare at you while you hear a muffled wheeze which you assume is Stig laughing.

"Um, well, anyways, Captain, this is Falynn. Falynn, Captain." You make some quick introductions.

"Well, anyways," You say, keeping things going, "this here is our workshop and garage. Our vehicle selection is a bit sparse right now, with just a van and SUV to our name, but we're looking to eventually expand. Over there is our armory, and this here is Falynn's lair, the workshop, where she maintains and upgrades all our stuff."

"I see." The Captain nods. "You have a Cyber Hound too?"

"Oh yeah, that's K-Zwolf." You say, pointing to the robot dog. "He's proven to be an invaluable asset to us."

"I'm sure." The Captain nods. She then sneaks in a quick pat on its head when she thinks you aren't looking.

"And right over there is the guy you helped us track down, the Idol Killer. Turns out he's a nutjob who didn't get the memo that he wasn't in the army anymore." You sigh.

"I see you pretty much scavenged him for parts, too." The Captain frowns.

"Yeah, we sorta did." You nod. "Does that trouble you?"

"Not particularly. It's the sensible thing to do."

"Even though you're full cyborg, too?"

"I'd actually consider it flattering if somebody believed my body was worth salvaging." The Captain points out.

You're probably sure that statement sounded better in her head.

At that moment, you see the van pull into the garage. No doubt Jenner returning with Niko, Morgan, and Sparky.

"Hey, Jenner!" You wave at your secretary as she exits the van. She turns to the idols and tells them to go on ahead. They head for the elevator while Jenner makes her way to you.

"So, Producer, is this the Captain that you've been telling me about?"

"She is." You nod.

Both women just stare at each other for what seems like a long time, as if they were sizing each other up.

"...You're shorter than I thought." Jenner says.

"I get that a lot." The Captain nods. "FBI?"

"Close. DEA." Jenner responds.

"Ah, so you were at Mexico? We might have crossed paths, then."

"Possible, though I doubt it." Jenner responds.

Both women continue to stare at each other as they try to size each other up.

"Uh uh. I'll keep that in mind." Jenner says, her eyes still focused on the Captain.

"Of course." The Captain agrees, her eyes similarly locked onto Jenner.

You quickly enter the elevator and hit the close button. While you were tempted to see what would happen, you had no intention of becoming collateral damage. Plus you had other things to take care of.

"Hello?" You say, answering the call.

"Producer." You hear the voice of one of the Tribunal members. "We have analyzed the data you have sent us and we have all decided that it is in fact genuine. As per the agreement, you and Mr. Hillman shall be rewarded accordingly."

"That's great and all, but you never exactly said what the reward was." You point out.

"First, you will be awarded $20,000, which is to be divided between you and your partners at your own discretion."

"Thank you, sir." You say.

"In addition," he continues, "Both you and Hillman are cordially invited to the Annual Idol Exposition."

You... actually weren't too sure what that was, but it sounded important and it had to be if the Tribunal were granting you access to it. Maybe you could as Jenner about it later.

"I'm honored." You say politely.

"As you should be. All of the big players and sponsors will be there, so this will be your chance to make a name for yourself. Please do not squander it. Until next time."

With that, the line was cut.

Huh, that was interesting. You glance at your company account see that it's $20,000 richer. You need to figure out how to divide this up with Hillman.

You head down to the Danger Room, where Jenner and the Captain presumably were. There, you see both women standing there, breathing hard. Jenner had a bruised cheek, while the Captain's synthetic skin on her own cheek was badly torn up.

"You're pretty good." Jenner concedes.

"You too." The Captain nods.

"All right, you two can sort out your differences later." You say, clapping your hands to get their attention. "We got business matters to take care of."

"Ah, that's true." Jenner sighs.

"I suppose I should go back to the workshop to check for damage." The Captain nods. "I'll see you later."

"Jeez, what was that all about?" You say once the Captain is well out of earshot.

"Just greeting each other." Jenner says simply.

"By punching each other out?"

"It's a very subjective process."

"Anyways." You sigh. "The Tribunal called back and said we were invited to some sort of Idol Expo. Do you know what that's about?"

"Oh wow." Jenner's eyes widen. "That's only one of the most exclusive events in the industry. All of the biggest idol companies and sponsors are gathered there, mostly a means for idol companies and sponsors to make deals with each other. It's also a chance for the other idol companies to show off, to prove their idols are better."

"Sounds like a grand old time." You check the data the Tribunal sent to you. You got four tickets total. One for yourself, one definitely for Jenner, which left three for idols.

"Of course, you want to bring some idols with you there." Jenner says. "So, you'll have to think long and hard. Which three idols do you think best represent Clover Entertainment as a whole?"

"This? I've had worse." Jenner tries to assure.

You just give the look.

"All right, girls!" You call out as you enter the dorms' common area. "Quick group meeting! Gather up!"

Slowly, one by one, your idols begin to gather, wondering what could possibly warrant all this effort in getting them all together.

"What's this all about, sir?" Rochelle asks.

"Yeah, I was actually getting some damn sleep." Cole yawns.

"Well, I was just going to announce that we have a guest here that will be staying for a while. She's an old friend of mine from the Army. My former commanding officer, in fact. She'll be staying here for a while, and while she's here, she'll be giving you all a healthy does of specialized combat training.

You are met with groans, but you notice some of the girls, notably Rochelle and Julie, seemed rather interested.

"Anyways, that training is required. You can't skip it, and it'll be worked into your current training schedules. However, the Captain is also offering an advanced, one one training program. If you want to be taught be the best of the best, this is your chance. I have to warn you, it's going to be tough. REALLY tough. Don't volunteer unless you're absolutely committed to it." You look at all your idols. "Any takers? I won't think any less of anybody who doesn't want any part of it."

The girls all look at each other and slowly, one by one raise their hands. Ah, the power of peer pressure. You doubt any of them wanted to look bad in front of their peers. However, you were sure that they'd put all their effort into the training, regardless.

Our successor and first in line for the throne of the producer.

Let the girl with military hard-on take it. Rochelle. Hope you're ready girl.

Step up your game Captain

Probably should have said something about how the Captain looks...guess that will be fun.

>>33374016
And I do want to say that to her too. Goddamn. It's only two of them. You can deal with it!
>>
>>33374020
We could at least TRY to convince the Captain to do double regimen. Would also be great bonding opportunity.
>>
>>33374049
I guess. Pick the one for now then talk to her about doing two at a time or at least lining up Julie for second running of it? Maybe. Eh.
>>
>>33374059
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Its a worth a shot.

Besides I don't want sad Julie.

Sad Julie would be bad.

It's a tough choice, but ultimately you settle on Rochelle. You believe she had the drive and the mindset to weather anything Captain could throw at her.

"Okay, Rochelle, you got the spot." You say. Rochelle beams while some of the other girls groan and others quietly sigh in relief.

"Thank you, sir!" Rochelle smiles. "I won't let you down!"

"I'm sure you won't." You smile back. "All right, that's all I have to say. You're all dismissed."

With that, the girls begin to disperse once again. However, make a beeline over to Melissa.

"Melissa, we need to talk." You say quietly to her. "In private."

"Um, sure." Melissa nods. "What's up?"

"We might have a lead on the mercs that took your arm and leg." You say.

"What?" Melissa's eyes widen. "Where are they?!"

"Slow down, Melissa." You warn her. "These guys are tough, and way beyond your level. That's why I'm having the Captain do the training. To get you all prepared."

"But we're going to get the bastards, right?" Melissa asks, edging closer to you, her augmetic arm clenching into a fist.

"That we are." You nod.

"Then when you go after him, bring me along." She says. "They need to pay. For everything."

>Of course.
>I can't promise you that.

Same deal as Julie got. Our Rules. Our Orders. Or no go. Simple as that.
>>
>>33374139
>>I can't promise you that.

Neither yes or no. We need to make sure you have you head in the game. We should all have a talk with the councelor about this.

unless you can promise me you won't put revenge before the team

Fair is fair. Julie got a talk and we do need make sure she knows we'll help with us, only if she can keep herself from diving too far in.
>>
>>33374139
>I can't promise you that.

It depends entirely on her, she's already on edge at the mere mention that we found their identity, she could put the team at risk.

Work hard and earn your place to face them.

"All right, but you have to understand, if you go after him, you do it under MY rules and MY orders, all right? No cowboy or lone wolf crap. If you can't even manage that, then you have no place among us. Is that clear?" You say.

"Crystal." Melissa nods.

"Good." You pat her on the shoulder. "Those guys will get what's coming to them. I promise. You just have to be patient until then."

"Thanks, Producer." Melissa says.

"No problem."

Well, one threat down, and yet another one to deal with. And so goes your never ending job as the Producer.

>And that's it for tonight! As always, next thread is next week. Don't forget to catch PJ Witches on Sunday and Gundam Build Fighters on Friday!
